Please no changes. The sounds are a big part of why many people – myself included – chose to make these weapons. If anything, add an option/slider to adjust weapon sounds? I mean, everyone could nit pick and find some sound thats irritating in game. Repeated “I could outrun a centaur” etc…

Really… I’d leave these alone. Removing the sounds kind of negates the amusing qualities of both the weapons, and I personally can’t think of any time I’ve been annoyed by something as minor as a weapon sound.

I just hope its remembered that not ALL players WANT to be in a huge or even large guild. I’ve yet to find a large guild that isn’t filled with drama or a clash of personalities. I’ve been playing with the same Guildmates since GW1, and I just do NOT want to expand much more, but I also do not want to miss out on content or rep another guild just because the content favors large guilds.

PLEASE keep in mind, small guilds exist, and run happily – don’t punish the smaller ones content-wise. We’ve been the same group for many years now – and don’t want to be adding random people just to accomplish content designed for large groups of strangers. I’m really hoping all the new Guild related content is designed with the knowledge that not every guild in game is 100+ people… or even 50!

Howler is even more broken now. The sound effects are messed up. Its sad… I made this recently and its a TOTAL disappointment.

The new warhorn audio sounds like a painful fart.

It should be rolled back, for sure, at the very least. People are knowingly exploiting this.
I mean, how many of us COULD do it, but won’t because we know its wrong, and our accounts are worth more than a cheap title.

I’ll feel pretty upset as a GW1 player if anyone can get the title and items while all the older players busted butt for em.

But that’s the point of this, if you cant be bothered to learn all of the game and get good at it (which is not hard), then you don’t deserve map completion or a legendary, simple as that.

You really don’t get it. WvW isnt ONE person’s skill. Its dependant on an entire server and all the players on that server who are playing. How do you think that tests the skill of a player?

No one wants a freebie – I’m asking for even rotation of colors. Do you think thats REALLY asking too much??

Mapping WvW is actually extremely easy, and you can pretty much get it without even trying if you just play WvW on a semi-regular basis.

The matchups change every week, and more often than not your home borderland and home side of EB will be a different color.

Also, wuv wuv really needs the love and support right now.

I don’t get what the point would be in mapping an area that has 0 hazards. If it comes to that then they may as well just hand you the achievement or else take mapping out of WvW altogether.

Some of us DON’T WvW on a regular basis, due to the fact that mapping and the lack of color rotation has made us essentially detest WvW.

You assume the colors rotate regularly. On my server, we have NOT been red since the beginning of April. This is not ‘regularly’. I’ve gotten to where I’ve waited so long that I’m beginning to hate even going into WvW – this isn’t the way to get it some love, or support, its the way to kitten off casual/potential WvW’rs.

For those of us who play a few hours a night, and do dailies – mapping has NOT been possible. I know Im not the only person on my server with this issue, and I know recently several people who have transferred just for map completion. That situation certainly isn’t helping anyone, now is it?

I disagree with 1st 2nd 3rd. We have had the SAME matchups forever, and have been green/blue since April. It should be a simple rotation, no scoring should determine it. As long as its required for Map Completion, do something so its do-able in a reasonable time.

Again, I’ve been trying for 100% since the beginning of April. If they go by predicted win/lose, we won’t be red AGAIN this week. Its unreasonable to expect PvE players to sit and wait for weeks and months for something they have no control over.

How about rotating the map colors every few weeks so situations like this do not happen then? Red, Blue, Green, etc?

As someone who has been struggling for well over a month at least to complete a WvW map – (Eternal Battlegrounds) I agree.

As a primarily PvE player – I might even be drawn into WvW if mapping it was not made to be such an impossible chore. At this point, I have been waiting since APRIL for our server to be ‘red’ on our map rotation. We have not been red since the beginning of April. While the red areas I need HAVE been captured, I am not an 8 hour a day player – I log on in the evenings, and then I log off. At this point, I have not been able to capture 2 poi and 2 vista personally due to the map color.

Im disappointed that the servers cannot even be rotated by color every few weeks. This is my second characters map completion, and at this point, WvW is all that is preventing it.

Again, I AM a primarily PvE player – but, I have played my share of WvW. I can tell you that this type of situation does not want me to venture in more, it only serves to up the frustration level. I enjoy EotM, and I enjoy PvE because I can go in and enjoy it at my own pace, and when I feel like – but, to have an achievement/reward be completely out of a players hands is very unrealistic. It isn’t like one random player can influence an entire server who is working towards a score to venture out and capture a stronger servers keep, or nearby towers.

So.. you are forced to wait. Indefinitely. For months. =/

Im done buying much. Ill spend my ‘refunded’ gems and be done with the gemstore. Although at this point, as much as I love the game, Im VERY disappointed and would prefer an outright refund.

I also don’t like the ‘required all or nothing’ way the skins will be handled, like the Mad King set, etc. I bought those for pieces, not for the entire set. Im curious why we cannot get refunds on those either. =/ The whole concept is a poor idea.

Agreed with so many here. I will be one of the HUGE amounts of people requesting a refund if townclothes are implemented as ‘All or nothing’ tonics, since many of them, I purchased for just ONE PIECE. Not dyeable? Nope. I’d rather have my money back.

Same. No loot. All three Legendaries, never downed, no loot. Even though other people who spent MOST of the time downed GOT loot. Sigh…

Because WvW Zerging is Battle? (How is it any different than any zerg? Run, Zerg, Cap, Repeat)

I’d love to know how following in a WvW zerg is some epic test of battle? IMO Its more challenging when you are mapping solo and solo some of the Champs on the map… or run into larger Mobs. But… no no… of course, thats NOT battle. Its all about the Zerg.

I personally detest WvW and really hate anything with PvP or player vs player. But don’t tell me a Gift of Battle is proof of skill, while anything PvE is not. I earned my first 500 badges for my first Legendary in WvW – I did NOT hit Rank 30 doing it, and ALL it was was mindless zerging – at least to me thats what it felt like. Follow group. Shoot things. Collect Badges. Repeat.

Stupid move. Id hate to say it, but this is one of the last steps thats forcing me to dislike the game. I HATE WvW with a PASSION… I cannot explain how much. Horrible.

Hate it. But I got nothing to transmute back to other armor…. =/

Ive decided that in Tyria, the method of hat application is as follows. Remove wig, shave head, glue hat to skullcap. Replace wig at will. Yay.

Yeah, I just want some cookiecutter hair under my hat like with the GW1 headpieces/costumes. You just dyed those whatever color you wanted, and you had hat/crown/hair. MUCH better than our creepy female pattern baldness.

IMO this was poor judgement, and they should have known how many people it would make pretty angry. Its kind of lame to have players pay an insane amount of money for a skin they thought was UNIQUE to their race, and then IMPROVE it with particle effects for LESS money. Not the smartest move, IMO. Im very disappointed.

Scarlet would be SO very attractive laying on the ground with a ONE TIME USE ‘Finish her’ Icon to her right. IMO its the ONLY accessory that will make her any more appealing. She’d be lovely permanently deceased! <3

Makes ranged professions redundant IMO. I don’t WANT to run in on my ranger every time I kill something. Seems pretty stupid, but hey, gotta sell those finishers to PvE people for SOMETHING.

I dont. I didn’t bother with the TA Dungeon. I won’t do the WvW Achieves, and Im not actively working on Kessex. Clocktower? What Clocktower?

I play less and less these days… primary reason? Everything is stupid Scarlet. Bored with her. Tired of the same stuff. I logged in HOPING for a repeat of last years Mad King Dungeon Instance to play WITH friends and guidies… but nope. =(

I too think huge WORLD changing events would be nice. MYSELF…. I would love to have a ‘flashback’ living story that might cover the events of Orr. One of the things I hear MOST in this game is ‘I wish I could see what Orr looked like BEFORE….’

Ive heard that SO many times and have thought about it myself. I think it would bring more interest to Orr, for sure, not to mention would invest the players in the area more if we knew what happened to all its inhabitants.

We have the lore, we have the epic stories – why not build off some of those? Allow players to participate. While we obviously cannot change the outcome drastically, perhaps SOMETHING can be altered, or affected.

But – I agree – more true ‘World changing’ events – but ones that can be handled by slower servers as well. Im on HoD, and we STILL have not managed Teakettle… its now a ghost town there. Everyone just gave up, sadly enough.

I miss random minis. I know so many people who didn’t delete or remake characters because of Birthday Gifts only to find out we get 10+ Queen Jennas… that we cannot forge. Or do anything with.

Seriously… Queen JENNA? Why not a Dragon? Or something desirable? Jenna was a lame choice, and giving everyone the same one was also a bad idea. Same mini, on ALL your characters, with NO way to make anything new out of them.

Why not an exclusive Birthday Minipet SET? Randomized? Like in GW1?

Hey, if you don’t like them, don’t craft one. Simple as that. I love mine, for the skin and the stats, but then, I own one I crafted because I have a sense of humor, and well, the weapon fit perfectly. (The Dreamer)

Im still LOLing at all the whiney Meterlogicus owners. They just are never happy… they wanted upgrades and improvements, yet complain when they get them… nonstop apparently. Transmute it, so it looks like everything else… have fun with that.

The thing is, people have asked and asked for the updates Anet made. Ive seen here on the forums people ASKING repeatedly for footsteps for Dreamer, more for this weapon, ‘This needs this’. When you ASK for footsteps on a weapon like The Dreamer, you HAVE TO KNOW they are going to be crazy!

Im sorry, but when you CRAFT a bow with a unicorn on it, that SHOOTS rainbowunicorns – you must not be the most serious person in the game. I like to think that everyone I see with The Dreamer has a pretty light sense of humor – normally it works out that way. But to complain when you get rainbow horseshoes, sparkles, and MORE rainbows because you want to be taken seriously!?!?!? Buy a boring bow then and have fun with that. Heck, I redyed my armor to match the rainbow-y goodness, and threw on some Radiant shoulders and gloves. Only seems appropriate now! <3

I just want the minipets, and its still a pain in the butt to farm for THAT even now… W1&2 (With the horrible to target Frog boss) – I used to play this on multiple characters. No point doing that anymore.

I wish we could still farm baubles. I dislike the minor changes in the first world – the Frog Boss is nearly untargetable – and I just want my 40 for my two minipets so I can be done with it all. Loved it the first time out, but its become UN-fun.

I mean, I upgraded all my toons to play SAB. Why? I can’t dig with a different one anymore. Whats the point in buying the tools on multiple characters anymore? Or PLAYING it on multiple characters? There isn’t a point.

Play one. Run through. Get your baubles. Log off. =( I play for fun, not to get frustrated… so, since I can’t run it on more than one character and have it be worthwhile – I won’t be playing it as much. =( I was really looking forward to this again.

I only wish my character skipped while wielding ‘The Dreamer’…. that would complete the picture of complete and utter ‘Happy Doom’…

I will again say though – there are MORE people harassing farmers than the other way around.

To be fair, however, the farmers have no reason to complain because they get their way most of the time in the events. While the people who want to kill Scarlet rarely get the chance to.

The people who want to defeat Scarlet are getting frustrated by the game mechanics, while the people who want to farm, I don’t know why they harass others.

My thought is, when someone else pays for my game, they can tell me HOW to play it. In the meantime, if I want to farm Pirates, Im going to farm pirates. The WAY people go about complaining to farmers makes me care less about their desire to FINISH the event. A bad attitude backfires almost every time.
