mexican cookie, “u” dont have a good understanding of the meta. 3w, 1m, 1g is very good not just because of signet of inspiration to copy boons and reflects but also for timewarp. fastest cof clear had a thief, ranger, mesmer, 2 warriors. fastest lupi clear had 3war, 1mes, 1ele. u see, guardians are the class that are overrated, as u mentioned guardians have defensive utility and the dps doesn’t come close to a warrior, thief, mesmer. a “decent” mesmer deals a lot of damage and it isn’t hard keeping 2-3 phantasms up for most part, u shatter them on boss aoe and bring them back up again and dont forget a mesmer can also give 6-8 stacks of vulnerability consistently. and for a few dungeons without reflects, mesmers can go with a 25% damage increase with mantras and 3% per illusion.

Fastest lupi kill was done by my guild. 2 ele, 1 war, 1 thief, 1 mes. There’s also the Arah and SE P1 records there as well, neither were done with 3W/1M/1G.

Fastest cof p1 is 2 thieves, 1 war, 1 ranger, 1 mesmer, also done by my guild.

Mesmers have bad DPS. Time Warp is simply a bonus that you get for taking a Mesmer. You do not take a Mesmer for Time Warp. You take it for reflects. The 3W/1M synergy is strong for fast might stacking, but it’s not the best DPS by far.

You come up with all these claims, and none of them are accurate at all. You could at least pay attention to what the records are for things. Guardians do more DPS than warriors.

3W/1M/1G is for bad/lazy players. Good teams will run better compositions, which also happen to have more class diversity. (in most cases, anyway). By all means though, if you know more about the current meta feel free to prove me wrong with all those videos of faster kills/runs.

I will say it again. Dungeons currently are:

S: Warrior
A: Guardian, Thief
B: Engineer, Ranger, Ele, Mesmer
C: Necro.

Warrior: Above average DPS, strong might/vuln/fury supply, unique buffs (Empower Allies, banners). You always want at least one warrior.

Guardian/Thief: Strong utility, high DPS. Not that many (if any) unique buffs. Reliable choice for every dungeon, but can drop for alternatives.

Class C professions: These classes are all pretty good, but rely on a niche for them to perform well. Eles have high DPS with FGS/LH, but are situational and extremely weak – team needs to carry them. Mesmers are reflect kings, take this if you need to make a boss nuke itself (lupicus, Malrona). Engineers are kings of vulnerability stacking, also have respectable DPS, Engineers could easily be in ‘B’, but just aren’t very popular currently. Rangers have strong unique buffs, but their DPS is ‘eh’ and their pets are not overly reliable, one hand sword is also pretty situational (their best dps option).

Basically, Rangers/Eles/Mesmers only perform well in ideal situations. Engineers are just a pretty under-explored class, and as such haven’t made much of an impact in the meta.

Necros just don’t do anything special in dungeons, so they’re in class C by themselves.

Like 6 of us were playing around tonight… saw I think 3 people. 1 from GoM and 2 from SF.

Well thats 3 more people than i saw in Sf/GoM Bls. WvW is dead for us right now.

All the Bls were completely dead today in Kain/Sf/GoM

The WvW update was bad and only adds to the imbalance, plus with the new Teq there isnt alot of reasons to get on just to get rolfstomped by zergs or jumped constantly by the higher tier server.

I personally run Thief/Ranger(at times lol ranger) and my level 28 guard(Will use him more if he ever gets to level 80). You are going to have to stay on your toes more as a thief since you rely on stealth and you have low hp and armor for most builds.

So if that doesnt sound like what you want roll WAR and or Guard like i said earlier

Weird maybe it really is a bug, i talked to random turret users, some got it while others didnt. Maybe whoever said party effects it is right and thats the reason why some are getting the chests while others arent.

I have been trying to teach people along with get people in mumble but there isnt a consistent group of players at each battle and we also run into population issues. All of our big wvw guilds are trying to contribute but we all cant be on each time.

Kinda sucks i might have to guest just to beat a boss.

Warrior and Guardians are the best at kitten near everything. You never have to worry about nerfs when you play Anets favorite class (WAR)

Ignite arrows – So much nostalgia tied to this skill from all those years ago when I first got GW1. Exploding arrows and an awesome sound effect, what’s not to love?

Penetrating Attack – Epic sound effect on it

Choking Gas
Frozen Soil (Players cannot be revived, there were a few exceptions in GW1)
Keen Arrow
Needling shot
Burning Arrow (Elite)
Distracting shot (Extra recharge on the interrupted skill)
Blackout (Yourself and target cannot use skills for a few seconds)
Throw dirt (Anti Assassin chain, would work great on thieves and warriors, it would be a pulsing blind of course)
Predatory Bond (Shout, you get healed when pet attacks)
Serpent’s Quickness (Your skills recharge faster for a small time)

Edge of Extinction (When a creature dies, all creatures of the same type in the spirits range take X amount of damage) Imagine this in WvW… mmmmmmm. Make each race count separately

Man we had so many awesome skills in GW1, i want Dryder’s Defenses and dodge skill.

Well SF came back in force tonight. We took our pvers from Teq runs we been doin the last few hours and came to EB. Pretty fun, we havent had a EB full on a non friday night like that in forever.

SF got him to 50% earlier, hopefully we can keep chippin down at him tomorrow.

SF has got him down to 60% we are on track to beat him soon as long as our server keeps its spirits up.

We are getting more and more into the muble server

SF got him down to 76%, i know thats not as awesome as some of you but we are improving each time and our server isnt big.

I used my Ranger with 1500 range longbow. My zerker theif wasnt cutting it for me.

Killed WvW for me. Ill just farm champs and teq until i dont want to log in anymore. My main reason for playing these days was WvW

Its not really worth roaming anymore now that bloodlust is in the game. Takes the fun out of it.

YOU’RE too lazy to learn to play the game. Try double tapping a movement key. It let’s you dodge attacks. Then if you’re not exhausted by then, you can even press the “6” button on your keyboard to get some of your health back!

Seriously, some of the fights (Maw) are still super easy. If you want it easier, maybe you need to go play something else.

Yeah. I’m a little disappointed on that stat spread. The skin is pretty neat, but it feels a bit silly to get the skin and not like the stats.

Valkyrie stats would have been nicer I think.

Those buffs kill skirmishing/small fights for me. which is the only thing i played wvw for and gw2.

yeah its around 40-1 hour

25-30 minutes would be cool or nerf his health, this is artificially difficult as it is. The boss himself isnt hard.

The problem is the timer and the fact that without a elite squad you wont be beating him in that extremely limited time.

I like the new areas but not the buffs, i almost got onshotted earlier by someone with triple bloodlust.

Not all of us has tons of people in our servers to zerg rush down bosses with improved HPs in 15 minutes

it sucks but us small servers will only get smaller while bigger servers get bigger.

Ahh for people with alts Dungeon armor is a good send, you dont have to waste a ton of gold to equip your level 80 character with exotics and the dungeon armor looks better than most TP exotic armor anyway.
