Its like the devs have just ignored warrior class as a whole. No dev response, no balance changes, nothing. Its the largest disservice to their playerbase ive seen yet.
That is exactly why I think the overhaul or something like it comes soon. I really don’t believe they would just release elite spec like this with no other interest to adjust/balance it. There were not even one warrior related patch notes after HoT release…
I will not drop warrior. I will just wait for another “balance” patch with hope for the better days. I will just stick with warrior in PVE till then…
I find berserker only good now in PVE as condi. But in PVP, there are more optimal condi classes so… why bother? For power warrior, berserker is really lackluster. I thought that it is good in the beginning, there is one build I use with it, but… after playing it more and more, it feels just weak compared to other classes and/or elite specs.
I really really hope they will adjust this elite spec accordingly, just… please.

Your correct about the high health and armor, though, I don’t see any reason we couldn’t get some blinds? How many kitten warriors in film use the ol’ dirt in the eyes trick?
Mainly though, our traits just need a little polish, and juggling of what goes in what lines. Basically…. a net needs to sit around a conference table and skull session it out.
I would however, very much like to hear them say something about the fact that they plan to do that.
And if warrior is ok, and we’re all wrong, then say that with clarification as to why.
Either way, one simple post ought to ease our concerns immeasurably.

I feel a bit jealous when I see in newer patch notes every proffesion except warrior :/

Completed Auric Basin, no reward, nothing. I hope fix will come soon
I have completed all except Brisban liberator. I tried both events Defend Hillstead skritt from Nightmare Court trappers + Failure: Free Hillstead skritt from the Nightmare Court and nothing happens (I completed both like 3 times already). I am stuck as this one is blocking my progress 
EDIT: Brisabn liberator was eventually really different event. I have already crafted Dawn, so this Sunrise collection is working correctly

Warrior is (imo) in very good spot right now. I have never loved this profession more then now :P
I am not sure how the profession will do with new elite specs, we shall see. But overall, there are only a few things warrior should get to be perfect (to be perfect for me ofc), like Fast Hands baseline, Eviscerate chill/cripple fix, rush/bull’s charge fix, Earthshaker different terrain height fix… and that’s it.
This trait is amazing with rage skill Outrage (break out of stun and gain adrenaline for each foe near you – 10 sec cd). I tired it in the last beta weekend and I think it has pretty neat synergy. If you have also traited stability on berserk mode, being cc-ed should not be problem at all = no buff needed actually.

Well, the problem with berserker is actually not berserker itself. It is the fact, that you need to sacrifice either strength traitline (DPS loss) or defense traitline (guess what) as the discipline traitline with fast hands adept minor is essential.
Making fast hands base line would solve this problem for 90%. The remaining traits in discipline can be somehow sacrificed.
Just two things:
1st and the most wanted – fast hands to be baseline
2nd – leaving Gun Flame as it was in the last beta event

That’s why I use CI only with longbow and sometimes with hammer. Single target burst skills are unreliable imo for cleansing, e.g. you get blinded, you will miss = no cleanse.
No. It is just Golden Age of warrior. Well, another one after Hambow nerfs 
Yea, when I found out about its new feature, it was too late, I was able to test it only on NPCs in HotM lobby 
But still, everyone was like wtf when I was oneshotting those NPCs

It is like everywhere else. People will whine about anything they cannot kill/don’t know how to kill. Nothing new here.
What a shame I found out about new Gunflame feature too late 
There will always be complaints about anything in this game. Jesus… Warrior is a very powerful class, that’s it. Nothing more. Definitely not OP. Almost everyone takes stances (as they appear to be the most effective with berserker gear) which have high CD. You can just bait those. Is it too hard? Then learn it.
Warrior’s biggest enemy is blind spam. They can use berserker stance if opponent is a decent player, they will just kite/evade telegraphed skills for 8-10 sec.
Warrior is easy for beginners, yes, but try your advanced skills against equally skilled player of other class.
If you think warrior is too strong, just wait for the daredevil which will probably be capable of dodging/evading every single warrior’s melee attack.
And remember, if you get killed by warrior, you weren’t spamming blinds enough.

OS should be definitely fixed. LFG makes me cry whenever I open and see “meta thief, ps, os, 2x ele”…
When people in party want to OS and Lupicus shadowsteps to npc, I am always like “god, thank you” xD

If I understand it correctly, quickness speeds up channeling skills by 50%. That means every channeling skill is 50% faster. In case of rush, it is also channeling skill… so it is pretty clear.
Now think about slow condition, which does exactly the opposite. Your rush is 50% slower = you rush further away. And this is bad design. It should be actually other way around… lel.
What I find more irritating thou is Eviscerate being affected by cripple or chill, as it should not be…

My point is that these burst skills are in good state right now and they definitely do not require damage buff.
Nobody is talking about “buffing” the dmg. The problem is that even if Evi is supposed to be a big risk big reward skill sometimes the reward really isn’t big at all when you do land it successfully. I’d rather get a range increase than a dmg range decrease. Eviscerate is stupid easy to dodge to start with, but now, it can’t even be called a “Gap closer” anymore because sometimes you can literally avoid it by walking away from the other player (with swiftness) unless he starts it practically within melee range. I still don’t understand why Eviscerate’s range got absolutely nuked when it was already an incredibly easy to dodge skill.
Eviscerate is not so hard to land, yes ofc, if you are perma blinded or someone is just spamming evades/ports, sure. But if timed well, it is priceless. On the other hand, the range increase would be nice.
Lol, after like 3 months (?) nothing has changed… I don’t think that they will do anything about it, sadly…
Lupicus is still soloable, but now you need good rng or you get killed by e.g. invisible projectiles (I get hit by them very often, sometimes even while dodging or blocking – but that is probably just me lagging – Lupicus is not very lag friendly boss) or when he does shadowstep and aoe spam at the same time while he is invisible… pretty much fun in Arah
but still in groups, it can be done pretty easily with reflects and without cheesy OS

So they should be high risk, high reward skills. You just need to bait dodges and use opportunity of enemy player not being aware of you channeling killshot… piece of cake, right?
landing eviscerate is much easier and it still hits like a truck (if berserker gear and full adrenaline). I mean all this in WvW thou.

My arcing slice averages about 10k when enemy is under 50% hp, highest being 16.8k on a lvl 80 guardian.

My highest kill shot is 25k with 25 stacks of bloodlust, 25 stacks of might<<<btw this is such a bad number.
I used to hit more with killshot pre patch, 20k without bloodlust and only 5 stacks of might. On lvl 80 guild groups.
I will also note, its easier to get higher numbers on arcing slice since each level adrenaline gives the same amount of damage. So you can easily do a lvl 3 burst and switch to gs(burst mastery), u will have lvl 1 arcing slice, use it..boom big numbers because of berserker power trait proc’ing from earlier lvl 3 adrenaline hit.

Please revert original warhorn sound back. This one is very annoying and definitely does not fit. I get the attempt to make it sound different, but previous sound is just perfect and suitable.

As warrior main, I cannot complain, it looks really awesome and I am grateful for this elite spec as it could have been fail, which is definitely not! I cannot wait to finally test it in next beta

Well, I was hoping for something at least worth, expected something meh, but this is even better. Now this is what I call interesting elite spec! Using enemies as knocking down projectiles… I love you whoever came up with this xD
Well, it seems they don’t even bother to fix useless trait so… don’t expect a miracle… or just wait for fix 6 months. Why fixing bugs when there are HoT priorities, right?
Hey, I cannot find any related topic to this so sorry if there is any already.
Today I noticed that Last Stand activates even while I have stability. Let’s say I am about to being CCed. I activate Balanced Stance and get CCed. I have 5 stability stacks and after being CCed I have 9 (- 1 for being CCed). So Last Stand had to be activated.
It is not gamebreaking, but still… it would be nice not to get Last Stand on 90 sec cooldown while you have already stability on you… it seem pointless a bit 
I definitely agree with FH to be baseline. Warrior is weapon master so it makes a sense. If only anet would listen and at least consider it…
I have tried similar build before but with almost full dire gear set. It is very strong and easier to play as the only thing you have to do is to interrupt enemies and let them hit you (perplex rune – confusion). I do not like condi builds much, but I find this much more easier to survive now in WvW using dire set with like 27k HP, 3k armor and around 1,5k condi damage. Nice thing is, that not many people expect you to be condi based warrior and confusion eats them. Not everyone though. Be careful when fighting necros as they can transfer condis back to you which is pretty annoying 
Or imagine this:
Warrior would get F2 skill which would change all melee skills into ranged ones, e.g. 100b – gs would transform to lore friendly machine gun that would hit with the same damage on 1200 range.
I am joking.
How surprising…
Even longbow F1 skill does not proc berserker’s power damage modifier which is imo not a minor bug. Not fixed yet.
GS Rush with slow condition shows how they patch things and mesmer buffs show how they balance things… (sorry for this QQ)
I think I will stick with warrior in PVE for a while now… after all, WvW is full of unkillable/uncatchable mesmers right now…
And yet rush with slow condition synergizes pretty well

This would be the most hilarious thing in the game 
I would be happy for e.g. melee staff, which gets thief, so probably nope.
Daggers would also be interesting with fast hitting skills.
But I really like the idea of torch that reveals enemies. For example, torch off hand skill would place fire field on the ground which would reveal enemies who leave or step into this aoe as Cortano wrote.
Or just give warrior smoke field and delete all classes from game.
So basically I noticed that if you use rampage and win, you are bad warrior using cheese elite. If you don’t use rampage you will die. I “love” getting whining whisps in WvW after I use rampage in fight. Especially from blind spamming thieves…
This is pretty sad.
I “recommend” to try the most cheesy warrior build in WvW. Dire perplexity confusion interrupted. Mace/Shield + Hammer + Rampage. I know this is mean, but I love the surprise of most enemies as they just kill themselves (+ I like to try new things)… and it is much more easier to deal with condis in this new Condi Wars 2.
Haters gonna hate… just kidding, but revnant’s staff skill 5 looks cool. Tried it in AC, switched back to “normal” class. Tried it in SE, switched back… wanted to try in Arah… rather not
Warrior is great for PVE.
The damage after balance changes is nice and with high HP and armor it is pretty forgiving for mistakes you do.
But for PVP or WvW, it is a bit harder as every profession got major buff.
Warrior is easy to learn, but hard to master. If you want to beat e.g. decent mesmer, you need to be twice as good as them.

What do you think is good sigil choice for day time dungeons/fractals for greatsword? There are like CM and HotW (except Arah – sigil of undead) + some fractals I would like to use it in, but I am not sure which one. I assume one of them will be sigil of force. What about sigil of bloodlust? Thanks for reply.
