Friend of Fire and Frost ! ! ! After 3 days of camping fireheart rise i finally completed the invasion and guess what … no achievement at all ! WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS GAME ? The culing crap barely works , i dont know why it was implemented in the first place and now we dont get rewards after a “casual” game that is mandatory to send 4 days to get a pathetic achievement and after those days its bugged … pathetic dont you think ?

Ilusionist duelist hits harder than thief unload. Swordman and berserker do not stay far. Spatial surge taking same damage as evicerate, and without cooldown.

Actually a mesmer can easily change the tide of battle :/

It’s a packet loss issue support will tell you then they will tell you to call your ISP after they ask you to run ping plotter and game advisor report tool. Try hardreset your router press and hold for 30 sec then let router reboot, and power cycle your modem, check your cables. make sure ports are open. In all honesity it wouldn’t hurt to call your ISP to come out and make sure everything is fine. It’s what I had to do to fix this issue for me. Before you say it’s not on your end you may be suprised like I was. It was a bad RJ45 connection outside in the box!

Our only reliable ways to speed up out of combat are temporal curtain and crappy centaur runes. Not only that but Mantra of Recovery would be the only way to get permanent swiftness. So either we lose a rune set and possibly a heal or we lag behind

With the recent balance patch to PvP, there are actually more viable classes now than before.

Let’s think about it, we’ve got 7 viable classes, more than 4~5 before:

Warrior
FINALLY viable now, with quite a few builds to your choice:
-Sword/Shield Condi
-Sword/Sword Condi
-Mace/Shield CC
-Hammer CC
-Axe/Axe Burst
-Greatsword Burst
-Signet+Banner Healing Bunker

Guardian
A must-have bunker for most team nowadays, Guardian remains a solid pick
-Mace/Shield Bunker
-Greatsword Burst
-Scepter/Shield Support
-Staff Support
-Hammer CC
-Sword/Focus Burst

Engineer
Remains more-than-viable
-Pistol/Shield Condi
-Rifel/Flamethrower Condi
-Grenade CC/Bunker
and much more~~I hardly play Engineer so sorry this are the few I could come up with

Ranger (discounting the notorious Spirit-EZ-mode~)
-Shortbow Condi
-Axe/Torch Condi
-Longbow “sniper” Burst (my personal favorite at the moment)
-Greatsword CC
-Sword/Dagger skirmishing
-Trap Bunker

Necromancer formerly not-viable/underpowered~~now Queen of the Patch
-Scepter/Dagger condi
-Staff Condi+Bunker~~~I admit this weapon is now a bit too versatile
-Dagger/Warhorn power burst (I’m using this currently)
-Deathshroud-based Bunker
-Fear-based CC

Thief (laugh) You’re kidding, right?
-Sword/Dagger Burst (okay, this one went overboard, but anyways glad to see a new playstyle)
-Dagger/Pistol
-Pistol/Dagger
-Dagger/Dagger Condi
-Dagger/Dagger Perma-Evade
-Pistol/Pistol Condi (still a little weak compared to others~but thanks to the condi buff, this build is now available, at last)

Mesmer
-Sword/Pistol Shatter Burst
-Greatsword Shater Burst
-Staff CC/Condi-removal
-Anything that’s about cloning
-Something about team condi-removal (building mesmer this way would make it unable to DPS or bunker~~but does quite well buffing the whole team)
To be frank, there has been some saying about Mesmers being underpowered atm, but in tPvP and hotjoins I see them running around in most matches

Elementalist
UNAVAILABLE
In order to bring Necromancer and Warrior up from their former misery, this class is the poor sacrifice. As a player we doesn’t really play Ele, I admit I do not understand. But I can definitely say Elementalist is un-viable. I just hardly see ANYONE play the class in PvP!

So there, despite the meta being disliked, we actually have 7 classes viable for PvP, with 2 former-dead-beats (necromancer and warrior) coming onto the stage, a previously UP Thief now being slightly OP, and the Elementalist being dragged down and being the Pre-patch Warrior 2.0

If you think ele is weak you should try a mesmer ! And from what i saw in the 1vs1 pvp channel ele is in top 3 strongest classes at 1vs1 !

The problem with the elementalist is that, it is the only one where you feel like you are actually playing strategically and intelligently.

All other classes are mindless, press 1 and get big numbers with almost NO risk that is right no risk in any of their big skills. Try pulling off Earthquake without lightning flash, you are probably going to die.

The game currently favors spam X for 10k damage, while elementalist is A+b+d*X/D= 4k damage. WE need the whole game to be able to do A+b+d*X/D and that will make the game better. Also make condition damage the equivalent of critical/conditional. Right now the other 7 classes have EZ dps. We need to make everyone have difficult to acquire dps like the elementalist. while we are at it, fix the elementalist dependence on arcane and blah blah blah.

This is another Ember Champion (Anchorage) situation. This has to stop. I had to litteraly run like hell/waypoint like hell to get all events done in time. I even skipped a lot of loot. Meanwhile some hardcore farmers stayed on the same events and semi-afk (they even bragged about it), farmed the champs.

In my opinion, those people do not deserve the succes chest. If it wasn’t for me, kinda sacraficing a lot of loot in the process, (and a few other commanders, but most other commanders were troll farmers, like 6 of them), we would not have made it in time.

Again, the wrong people (the lazy, fail happy, greedy, unfriendly, the list goes on…), get the most rewards. Wrong Anet. You are rewarding the wrong people in my opinion. Provoking a fail to an event, should have consequenses, and now it doesn’t. Can you please do a similar fix, like you did on the Ember champ farming. Thanks.

I just started doing a bit of spvp and I’ve already encountered stun lock warriors immediately calling me an OP noob for playing a necro. I’ve noticed some of them tend to purposely go after necros (until I put on Lichform, then they run away… -_-). If there ever was a build calling for diminishing returns….

Anyway, good post. I play this profession as it’s what I picked to play in beta and enjoy its playstyle, not because of its perceived OPness (which I don’t get.. honestly every profession has something that’s quite strong and annoying to deal with.) It’s quite disheartening to incur abuse for it.

I play necro condition every now and then and when i do people always say ooo condition necro so op and easy. Now in my mind im like sure its somewhat easy but the op part is what gets me. I mean sure we get another hp bar (F1) but the conditions is not that bad i mean if u use staff/scep/dagger ur going to get like 12-16 bleed stacks max and a poison. Now people complain about that but nobody complains when i play my condition ranger get 20secs of poison and 10secs of burning and 20-25 bleeds in 5seconds

It is over powered. Straight and Simple.

It offers mobility, High damage, Strong Defenses, and Strong condition removal.

While the counter is to carry a reliable stunbreaker and stability, the amount of times you can stun an enemy compared to the actual amount of times you can use stability and stunbreakers are unequal by far.

Does it need to be fixed? I think it needs minor changes to balance it out.

Then go back to lvl 1 and l2p , if you can’t dodge a 100b then its something wrong with you !

Sure I’ll take a 400HPS passive heal on my thief if that’s what it means to be brought in line with the warrior.

After you get the 400Hp/S passive heal warrior will get permanent invisibility too and we call it a patch !

Thumbs up , Gw2 not an esports material ! Plus the asura race is the best to play it , nobody can tell what moves you’re going to do , that’s another imbalance to the table ! As all we saw in the video all classes he played was asura ! Make asura bigger , at least in pvp , imbalance gone !

I dont think in my 1 year experience in GuildWars2 I’ve seen a better patch AKA a Living World experience ! I mean look at all the Q.q posts in the forums about begging to nerf something that was clearly design to be difficult , it’s close to perfect ! It’s the only patch that made me come to the forum and saykitten#8230;… Arena and in the end with a smiley face a big : Job well done !

1.Queen Jennah’s Jubilee experience : I hoped to be longer to be honest , torch runs was pretty funny and when i finished them i was NOOO ! I WANT MORE !
The farm experience (Champion of the X ) was pretty ok , and lucky or not i made in 2 days 30 gold without killing myself in the farm ! Rated – 7 (1-10 , 10 the highest )

2.The Queen’s Gauntlet : Best thing in GuildWars2 by far , i hope they will never eliminate it or at least replace the ring master bosses with another ones ! It made me loose plain 6 hours on build , foods , askin players for tips , swearing in forums , a real gaming experience ! Final boss was so hard but the 5 gambit even harder was WOW , like i said abovekitten#8230; ANET I LOVE YOU reaction ! Now I have left Light up the darkness achievement and will be tricky as hell , expect me on forums ANET ! Rated – 11 ( +1 for the rage )

Lets see, you sit in the aoe using Block, several evades, and invuln from endure pain. Funny Arcane shield on an ele dies to the shadow aoe. Yet Warriors block works just fine. I understand you want hard content, but everything should not be made just for warrior… How about raising all classes to warriors Health/Damage/Defense levels… Or better yet, lets see a Warrior nerf to bring them DOWN to the other classes levels.

@dani what class, cause all range spells i used said Obstructed repeatedly.

With any aoe range weapon skill ! Cluster bomb , arcing arrow !

About the warrior block defy pain and endure pain doesnt work and i think 1% of warriors beat liadri with shield , i mean gs is alot better !
