Actually this is a very fine example of some one who came from low level wvw server(Vabbi, etc). No matter what you say I am sure it is not very long since you transferred to gunnars. Get to know people around actually join a decent guild and learn how to respect and get respect.

I’ve played only in SFR and moved to GH ! Your server piken will be farmed coz it got no core wvw guilds , you guys only blob all the time ! Mesmer weapons should do less damage than thief weapons. Clones and phantasms are supposed to do a significant portion of a mesmer’s damage. Besides… when was the last time you saw a thief use mind wrack?

What a lot of people don’t seem to understand about this (and I don’t mean to insult you with this Dani, I mean to insult people like Sejin in his “what does it feel like” post") is that GW2 is not a game where one class can be built in a way where it can beat every other class.

Everything has it’s pros and cons. At the moment I’m really happy with my roamer build, I would say I’m at a perfect medium with everything and it’s taken me about a year to theorycraft for my preferred playstyle. That being said I’m in no way over-powered.

With my old build which was GS / axe+shield I was able to destroy thieves and other warriors and I’d spiek damage Mesmers before they had much of a chance to do their crap.

Now I deal way less damage but I’m far more mobile, and I’ve just learnt to ACCEPT the fact that there are some classes, or particular fights that I just cannot deal with, so I avoid them. Namely Necros and Mesmers, but also finding thieves a lot harder not as well. Not to mention that right now, I cannot really beat this cheesy skullcrack build, but I don’t mind, I just avoid those fights.

I’m using GS / sword+warhorn and I use flurry to immobilise and then 100 blades as my primary damage, but I need a of damage based gear for it to work, I can’t use PVT gear alone with unspecting foe like skullcrack, so they do similar damage but have much more survivability. I don’t play as one because I find the playstyle boring, and I think it will be nerfed anyway.

Strange thing necro dont change anything to beat warriors or any other class out there ! Game is worst than 1 year ago , tyvm anet !

Mesmers are able to work around or completely bypass many scaling limitations that other classes must abide by, and using those utilities to your advantage is how you make best use of a Mesmer in wvw.

Right, so portals and veils. Null field sucks, feedback sucks against organised groups, everything else sucks. Time Warp has a five player limit.

Whenever I use my mesmer in guild raids, beyond the initial veil, nothing else I do really does as much as other classes, we have that narrow utility but that’s it.

I like the class, I really do. But in PvE, we’re mostly replaceable in competent groups (when they’re not feeling lazy and just doing 3 war 1 guard 1 mes because it’s easy mode), and in WvW we have narrow utility and nothing more.

This come from a T1 wvw player and its like i said , mesmer is crap compared to other classes that just spam 1 and get more dps and utility in the zerg / raids ! The rest that say the mesmer got utility in wvw and its the best of the best of the best of the best of the best of the best of the best of the best exit your t5+ WvW rankings and move for some time in a PRO WvW tier !

So

Duels – not champion anymore and who cares in a 1vs1
Pve – TW slave
Pvp – necro warrior or spirit ranger please
WvwvW – what can you do is portal the gollems to x from y , portal slave ! Veil on 3 !!!

And armagedon please go on your main char aka elementalist ! Stop calling mesmer OP as another class player !

Delete mesmer class , give all portal – problem solved ! In 2 days we forget mesmer even existed !

Lol the ONLY place where Mesmer is weak is in S/TPvP. Everywhere else they are fine, sure they could use tweaks. Play a ele, play an ele and say Mesmer is “nerfed to the ground”

You tried to claim mesmers were useful for projectile reflection, condi removal, AOE confusion and AOE stun/interrupt. I told you that in all these cases they’re either replaceable or not needed. Therefore mesmers aren’t actually as good as you thought they were.

TEQ sparring was the reason you lost hills?, i mean…… let me clarify this question.

INVI started our raid at 19:30 on sfr bl…map was all red to start you had full supplies in keeps and waypoints, 22:00 pm finish and it was green and blue. I mean i’ve been in this position loads when yourselves and vizu has dbl teamed us….it happens its the game.

You had decent numbers and guild groups to defend hills you just lacked co-ordination and tactics. I will not tell you what you did wrong as it was basic errors.

Ehj , in Pve its easy and dungeons but in wvw its a mess ! Nobody can give me back on que or teleport to the commander ! Have to re-que re-run for 10 min so in 5 min i dc again ! In pve ask for party and even if you reconnect on overflow right click on name and teleport to main map !

BUMP ! STILL NEED A FIX ANET ! I CANT WVW , CANT PLAY CANT DO NOTHING !!!
