What is KD/KB and SR?

I run a nuker mesmer with no condi removal skills (double swords+staff), which works well against glass cannon backstabbers. However, i have worries about condi-perma-stealth thieves, who keeps dodging and stealthing. The only times I won is due to my confusion stacks (chose asura race utility (retaliation and confusion), using a torch. I want to know the basic thief mechanics like how the heck they can dodge all the time? It’s impossible to sword 2 immobilize him and shatter. Even if I do, they’d stealth away, heal up and come again.

btw, glass canon thief not a problem for mesmer, problem is survive thief, like d/p or s/p

well if u a new player try something diferent, like ranger or warior. mesmer have many tips and trick, and in low lvl with staff or sceptr is rly slow kill but with gs it much more easy, (i take nageling giant solo with low lvl mesmer)
but in the end mesmer is to strong. he can beat everyone in pvp 1 vs 1, can help group with buffs, heals or new crap in dungeons if some1 die he cant wp, so mesmers time warp can resurect u in seconds.
build variacy is epic, wanna be tank? u can
wanna have dmg and instakill like thief? u can
wanna be suport? u can
wanna troll enemy? u can 100%
but dont forget, for good memsmer need both hand right

well gs not only for max range. with gs2 vulne and might compensates it. and i prefer gs in wvw becouse it simple way counter thiefs shadow refuge and enemy who try stomp my alies

i play mesmer from first gw2 day. confusion mesm is weakest build in mesm family.
and if d/d ele lose against him, its call a noob. smart eles if caltrips on cd turn around and run away to rest and back.

I personally use a 20/20/0/25/5 phantasm build for sustained dps .

like my GS/swfoc ^^
in wvw u not allways roaming. its also towers/keeps defense, towers/keeps wall captured. here shater build not so good. in fields phantasm do good aoe dmg, it good in zerg vs zerg (if they be alive)

omg RS u amazing ^^. couple minut ago. u take victor lodges with 6 ppl. we come with 4, u stay in camp, build SIEGE and dont come to fight in fields. about 5 minuts we try u take out from camp. but no, ur friend come from behind, and then u leave the camp.

Gandara doesn’t have the coverage numbers to compete any higher so the last thing we’d need is to move any higher in the rankings.

gandara have skill. 1 vs 1 or 1 vs 2. but not 1 vs 4. we dont have huge zerg like other tourists. but we still in 4tier. not 6-9 :P so just wait 1 month for paid transfer. and 2 months for wvw balance, and all be happy

simple. u have 3 hide skill. if he hide, wait couple seconds and hide to, GS good choise but sword/focus better imo. u use focus 5, then sword 3, again 3. then sword 2. then focus 4. his ofcourse go in hide, u go to. and soldier set and emerald jewel good choise vs burst thiefs

If there is one thing I would want to say to Gandara and Augury Rock: Stop camping the jumping puzzle! It’s simply annoying and kind of bad design by ANet. Piken Square does it too probably… but I don’t think nearly as much, because I rarely see one.
