Video for zone 3 baubles should be ready within the hour for those who prefer videos
Thanks dulfy!
I attempted Z3 baubles earlier today…must have missed one after I swear combing the map. Looking forward to finding out what I missed haha
What got me the first time was that I only looted 1 bauble out of a chest when it contained 2. I didn’t realize this until I looked back at one of my videos and saw it

The achievement states in a single run.
I’ll also add that dulfy.net likely has a visual guide up by now. Everyone and their mom should have the title by the end of this weekend.
Yup, http://dulfy.net/2013/04/02/gw2-master-of-baubles-super-adventure-box-achievement-guide/
Video coming soon
No, I have all the hidden rooms listed. Look under the section Shops & Hidden Rooms under zone 3.

Last hidden room in zone 3 has being found and all the hidden room achievements can now be completed
Hey everyone, I recently finished up a portion of my Super Adventure Box guide with an emphasis on the various hidden rooms scattered in the 3 zones and I would like to share it in case you find it useful.
So far I am 7/7 in zone 1, 6/6 in zone 2 and 6/6 in zone 3 regarding to the hidden rooms (having trouble locating the last hidden room in zone 3). Included are both pictures and videos to help you locating those hidden rooms.
I will be finishing up the guide throughout the day and hopefully have the Baubles achievements done as well!

Yup, it can get really annoying.
He is in Black Citadel near the refuge camp. http://dulfy.net/2013/03/26/gw2-dead-drops-secret-contact-living-story-achievement-guide/
Hey everyone. with alot of guilds unlocking guild missions these days, I thought it would be a good idea to put up some of the guild mission guides I have written in case anyone is looking for them. Currently there are guides for Guild Bounties, Guild Trek, and Guild Rush but guides for Guild Challenge and Puzzle will be available once they unlock.
- Guild Missions overview – tables showing you what perquisites you need to unlock every guild mission and what timeframe you can expect them to unlock.
- Guild Bounty guide Guide showing all 14 bounty NPCs and their pathing maps. For some difficult bounty targets, some description of how to fight them is provided.
- Guild Trek guide Maps and images of the 147 locations for Guild Trek.
- Guild Rush guide Videos and detailed walkthroughs for each of the 6 guild rush scenarios.
I had alot of fun doing these guild missions so I hope you will have the same experience!
All six are available now: http://dulfy.net/2013/02/26/gw2-lost-and-found-living-story-event-and-achievement-guide/
Yes, on Tarnished Coast the ship in a bottle is in location #1b in wayfayer and logbook is in location 7 in diessa.

I am not a fan of this whole system. Having new items just randomly appear without warning, no way to know they’re around without reading about it on the forum or just checking yourself every single day… not a very good way to do it, IMO. Its not immersive to read about it on the forum and its not really reasonable to expect someone to check the same areas day after day in hope they might show up.
But thanks for the heads up.
Usually new updates to Living Story show up on Mondays so that is when I would check.
Two new items available for Lost and Found today – Refugee’s Sword Belt and Refugee’s Compass. They are located in the same list of locations as the goblets and wooden soldier.
On TC (Tarnished Coast) they are located on #2 location in Diessa and Wayfarer respectively, not sure on other servers/overflows.

They are all active atm and can be completed.
Added dagger gallery
Sotzz has 300 different places he can appear in Gendarren Fields.
Oh wow 300 different locations. No wonder people had trouble finding him lol
Yay, that is great to know!
Hi there, to answer your question
1) Yes, Guild Bounties is the only guild mission that doesn’t need Guild Merit
2) You will need Art of War 5 for Guild Bounties so yes you definitely need it.
Here is a guide/more detailed explanation you may find helpful.
No I havn’t moved on. The Jan 29 thingie you saw was for the last living story.
Here is the new one, look under events
http://dulfy.net/2013/02/26/gw2-flame-and-frost-the-gathering-storm-patch-guide/
Other guild mission types are ingame currently but no one can do them because you need Guild Merits to unlock them in addition to influence. It takes 30 Guild Merits to unlock Guild Trek, which is the next Guild Mission to be unlocked. Unfortunately, the weekly Guild Merit cap for Guild Bounty is 25 so no one can unlock Guild Trek just yet.
Guild Missions cannot be unlocked independently except for Guild Bounty. Other guild missions are require the previous guild mission in the chain to be unlocked first.
Bounty –> Treks –> Rushes –> Challenges –> Puzzle.
It takes roughly 9 weeks for a guild to unlock Guild Puzzle btw due to the Guild Merit cap.
You don’t exactly start Guild Missions. You need to be in a large enough guild with Art of War 5 and 30k+ influence to spare to unlock the first guild mission – Guild Bounty. Once that guild mission is unlocked (takes about 3 days or less if you have alot of influence), you can participate in it with the rest of your guild.
There are basically 2 achievements for this installment of livng story. One of them (Gathering storm) can be completed now. http://dulfy.net/2013/02/26/gw2-the-gathering-storm-living-story-event-and-achievement-guide/
The other one, Lost and Found, can be only done up to 2/6. the 4 other items will be released in other phases of this event.

Added Longbow gallery
Updated the guide to include new items from the Jan patch
Josh, I just wanted say thank you so much for sharing all the details about jumping puzzles and the camera design decisions with us. I really enjoyed reading them and I absolutely love the jumping puzzle aspect of GW2.
Frankly, from all the MMOs I have played, there isn’t alot of developers who would sit down and actually chat to players in a manner like yours. I really appreciate you taking the time to do this.
Unfortunately, it seems that in every game there are players who think that designing feature X would take time away from feature Y. This might have being somewhat true in the old days with a small development team, but as you said, it is rarely true these days when you have separate development teams doing their own thing.
Added focus to the list. Yes I will be doing shortbows. Need to level up a thief first though
This needs to be stickied. You are a champion
Maybe after I done all the weapons
Added rifle to the list!
Atm no one knows what is exactly is in them because these boxes require 5 laurels to buy and everyone atm only have 3 laurels at max. Wait for another 2 days and we will know more
Should be active in Both Diessa Plateau and Wayfarer foothills atm. Right now mostly seems like an achievement/title thingie and isn’t much background/backstory.
If you are not sure what to do: http://dulfy.net/2013/01/29/gw2-living-story-refuge-volunteer-events-guide/
See title , shorter than wayfayer foothills it seems
Yes, Versatile Simple infusion fit into any infusion slot (i.e. defensive, offensive, utility). So yes you can reach 35 ar
You sure it didn’t reward them? Check under your inventory near where the karma and gold are listed
Here is a guide for those not sure what to do. http://dulfy.net/2013/01/29/gw2-living-story-refuge-volunteer-events-guide/
It isn’t a one time event I don’t think, likely lasting over a couple days. Diessa Plateau will be opened up later in the day
I got some high res pics of the moot, quip, predator and the dreamer if anyone want to see. Unfortunately can’t find anyone with the warhorn or any of the aquatic legendaries (guess people don’t exactly make those hehe)
http://dulfy.net/2013/01/29/gw2-flame-and-frost-patch-new-legendary-weapon-effects/
No, the new utility infusions are only brought from the laurel vendor
It will be there tomorrow at noon pst
Starts tomorrow (29th) noon pst

Added hammers to the list, enjoy!
Seriously, no talk about the AoE nerf? I was hoping to see some stammering and backpeddling…
Yes there are actually some stuff on AoE nerf.
AoEs in WvW
- Guys working on skll balance are still trying to decide what to do. Some of it will be going through and evaluating all the AoEs in the game and trying to pick out a couple that are over the top and making some tweaks.
- We don’t want AoEs to be as strong or more powerful than a single target damage spell in the same amount of time when it has the capacity to hit 5 people instead of 1.
- There are some skills right now that you always use no matter what and they are not necessarily situational or you time them properly. We want there to be a lot of tactics and thought that goes into the things that you do. That will be part of the strategy when we look through the AoE skills.
- We don’t want to make them useless, we just want to make them working as intended and we noticed that there are a couple right now that are not.
http://dulfy.net/2013/01/19/gw2-colin-johanson-mmorpg-livestream-transcript-jan-18/
What picture are you talking about? Got a link?
- One of the issues brought up a lot in WvW./sPvP is AoE (Area of Effect). We feel like they are too strong at the moment and a lot of people in WvW are gaming the system using AoEs.
- For people that don’t know – max targets for siege weapons is 50 while max targets for AoE is 5.
- Reducing AoE effectiveness to bring them in line with the single target damage skills.
- Major update coming to all the AoE skills – make classes that are good at single target damage stand out a bit more.
- Same thing with dungeons – right now if you have a lot of AoE you can past encounters by just spamming AoE which is not what we want.
http://dulfy.net/2013/01/17/gw2-dev-livestream-jan-17-transcript/
Yes. The TLDR version is – removing rez rushing from dungeons, reducing AoE effectivness, new achievement & guild stuff (no details), reducing diffculty of the dungeon encounters, introducing better progression and rewards into WvW, 1 team vs 1 team tournament for spvp, and bringing up some of the weaker weapons/traits for classes

Added a couple more tips I gathered!
Added the shield gallery to the list!
Wow, very nice guide, though I already knew most of it but still quite useful, especially to newcomers.
Just a note, for Svanir Shaman (Ice Fractal) :
There is a safe spot on the wall where the agony circles won’t hit you. Stand there when the shaman port up to do his agony circles.
You can delete that, it was stealth fixed, there is no more safe spot.
I thought the patch fixed the little cubby hole on the left wall people used to bug the boss, was the safe spot removed in the same patch as well?
rion.3528, thanks for those tips, I will add them in
Fractal relics are capped at 15 per chest.
Do you know the relics from the jade maw chests are also capped?
Thanks for those, they are quite neat! I added them in
Here are some additional comments on the fractals:
Thanks for those, I added them in
Nice Guide.
However, “Agony is only associated with the end boss of each fractal starting at L10.” is a little misleading as the first fight in Cliffside has agony too.
Oh Cliffside is an exception that I mentioned
^_^ You also seem to have forgotten to mention the fact the Thief can solo the bomb path on the Dredge Fractal. Since they only pick up the bombs if they are aggroed, a Thief can use stealth to run up, plant a bomb, then run back.
Best way I’ve seen this done is to use Hide in Shadows first, pick up a bomb, drop a shadow refuge and wait for it to stick, then leg it like Horus himself is after you, plant the bomb and run the hell back. The 50% speed boost trait when stealthed is needed to do this though (I think), and the extra second of stealth Trait is also useful.
It’s the only thing thieves are good for in FOTM tbh!
Without a Thief, I would highly recommend doing the bomb run naked or with looted blues. You will wipe a LOT if you do the good ol’ bum rush and you don’t want broken armour.
Oh, and the Dredge Power Suit’s Agony can be blocked entirely with any skill that blocks 3 attacks, such as a Guardian’s Shield of Wrath (Focus 5) or an Elementalist’s Arcane Shield.
And OOOOONE MOOOOOORE THIIIIIIIING </uncle>, dropping a Shield of the Avenger directly on top of Old Tom totally eliminates his poison bolts, although Wall of Reflection and Feedback don’t work.
