You will not lose your money anyway. Banks never send money from your account immediately, they just block some money for future transaction, so you can call them and ask for not processing this payment (if it even happened).

But why?

Good thing is – you can play the game with 0 gold in your wallet. Only thing you can’t do is – buy expensive items from other players.

Another Idea…
Make special icon in inventory and we must throw items to this garbage collector to destroy it. So destroying items as it is now should not be possible.

I have issues with my mouse, it produces clicks when i hold left mouse button. Usually it is not a problem. But today i destroyed one of my items accidently. While dragging it to inventory it was dropped in free space between windows, popup alert showed under cursor and then closed instantly.

1 second cooldown between “drop” and “popup” would save this item for me. Another idea is to make confirmation buttons available on popups after a few seconds.

As far as i know to get precursor you have to put always 4 same types of weapons. So 4 random rare weapons or 3 same exotics with one stone will never give any precursor.

You are wrong. I got The Lover from random drop yellows of different types. Stone / random weapon types = random weapon type. That is all.

Since i don’t know if he is “afk’ legitimately” or not + i rememeber GW1, i reported him for botting. I hope it will not lead to problems for me. But he answered some seconds later… it seems it is intentional leeching.

Enemy team has 1 player more. We have -1 and 1 afker(?) on respawn. I remember GW1 bots and after 5 minutes i reported him for botting.

I said him about report. Then some seconds later i got this answer (look screenshot).

2 minutes later he joined another team.

I hate this arena. Not because i hate challenge, but because i hate RNG. When i die from random things it makes me rage. Every time these orbs pull me to AOE i want to press alt+f4. Randomly spawned clones (behind me) while i can’t see them (thanks to camera) deserve special <3

I tested her 2nd stage with my thief with many evade abilities. It is plain stupid to try to evade all her attacks + orbs + AOE. She can spam skills + cripple + AOEs, i just burn all resources then die.

I come to the conclusion: Everything is based on “kill her while you can”. So heavy armor class + plain burst dmg = win, no need to be fast, no need to be smart, evade etc. Just burst her down. Not fun at all.

Also special thanks for 2-4 minutes timeouts between tries + long runs from waypoint.

I don’t think i will try hard this “challenge”, it is too annoying to me.

1) 1600 is not enough. It is nearly normal amount of tries. AFAIK 0.2% chance ~= 500 tries ~= 1500-2000 yellows.
2) Why do you think it should be less expensive?

Since all PvE is pretty easy it is obvious that most people decide to clear maps/events/etc as fast as they can. So it does not matter if you have more cooldowns or evades when all mobs die without any chance. Same with bosses. Solution is: more challenging content with difficult mechanics like “Gauntlet”.

It is a different problem. They must add something useful to compensate. But they add useless _ boosters, logging axes etc. When you get gathering tools for example you feel yourself cheated because “Black Lion Logging Axe” = 1 silver. While 1 key ~= 3 gold.

I will never do it. And main reason is: i farm money in real life much faster. So if i want to buy a key – i will buy it for real money. If i want to spend my time – i will spend it for something good. But NOT as boring as this farm. Every mature player must understand this. So i don’t think arena will remove these keys from personal stories. Because they don’t care if some kids will get a key and will use it to obtain some bytes in theirs database. It is not even worth theirs developers time spent

I didn’t imply FPS = Refresh rate. Where did you get that? All I said that it’s become an industry standard to aim to maintain 60 FPS in a game, because anything above that will lose some of it’s flashiness because the monitor cannot draw it fast enough (I know higher FPS still affects your input responsiveness, but that’s another story).

60 FPS is just enough. Not because it is your monitor’s refresh rate. And i don’t think someone aims to maintain some FPS. It is just metrics. People do things as good as they can.

You said your FPS is good with 100 ppl on the screen.

Granted, I have no idea what you think is a “good” FPS, but industry standard is usually to aim at your monitor’s refresh rate, which is 60 FPS in most cases.

I would wager your “good” FPS with 100 ppl on the screen would be below 30 FPS which by any standard should not be “good”.

But if you’re happy with it, all the power to you.

I just recorded video to show my game performance. I used playclaw 4 to record and show overlays. I can’t guarantee they show reliable information. Keep in mind i record 1920×1200 with high quality. Record process eats ~10-15 fps. I play with 40-60 FPS in 99.9% of the time.

Even with 7 fps at minimum the game is playable, most problems caused by server lags, not my computer. I don’t usually go in middle of fight, it is my duel build i just stay here and spam skills.

I think the game can utilize all cores better. But it is good level any way. For example Aion was unplayble with character models enabled. Swtor had 2fps when 20×20. Actually GW2 is much better compared to other games. If you know a game with better results, let me know.

BTW. You can see gw2 used CPU more than GPU. I think it is because they process some unusual things for CPU. And DirectX 11 can increase perfomance even more.

This game has excellent optimization! I have i2500k@4.2GHz, nVidia GTX 670, 8GB RAM – i have no problems at all! If you have problems, try to disable programs (they eat memory), delete viruses and of course reset overclocked hardware to standart parameters.

I will be very happy to see DirectX 11 in GW2, it should increase performance even more. Many things like floor in Rata Sum are ready to DX11. I want to see it NAO!

The black lion tools are considerably better than you think. – i have 11 stacks (no real difference with most expensives for game money, so i always forget to use them) yes you can get +5%-10% more ecto. Useful if you have them for free. But i tried to salvage hundreds of yellows. It is better to use “ingame money” kits if you plan to salvage many items for profit (better to convert gems to gold and buy ingame kits).

I just opened 177 Orrian jewelry boxes and then drank the liquid karma and cycled ‘til I was done and received 19 lodestones – i have legendary weapon, lodestones and other resources, i dont need anything that costs less than 100 gold

The black lion permanent contracts are major conveniences – i have many 1-time-use, but used them 1-2 times. Most useful permanent thing is – mystic forge conduit – i use it pretty often.

Guild discoveries are great for small guilds or creating a guild-of-one for another 150 bank slots. – just buy character slot, problem solved. Anyway you can buy influence for money (Large Guild Discovery – 300 points == 60 silver).

Unidentified dye sells well assuming you don’t like collecting them – convert your gems to gold and buy them directly (if you want them of course).

And your statement that “the karka event showed 300% MF makes no difference”… I think we’re actually playing entirely different games… – looks like it. I dropped better items without that +200% buff and +MF items.

This is why i do not open chests. Just because 95% of content is just trash during events with special skins. Rest of the time – 99.9% (nothing is worth money spent (if converted from gold)).

I want to track changes between versions/builds, it is not a problem. Also such information changes with new builds only. One request per update – should not be a problem for gw2 servers.

Search by name, but not by item details/recipe components.

It works but with NEW items only. But if they change something like recipe components (fix exploits/bugs), change soulbind parameter etc, we need to compare additional info from item_details and similar API scripts.

I plan to verify my DB after every update (new gw2 build). And i don’t think generation XXXX requests every time is a good idea. I see two ways:

1)
- Mark new/changed items somehow. Add version or timestamp to the “lister” API. So scripts will check for changes only.
- request ?id=1,2,3,4…

2)
- Provide us with FULL list details APIs. We can download full lists, compare it with current DB and make changes if neccessary.

I like the 2nd way. But 1st is ok too.

Same with all APIs like recipes, events, guilds etc.

Something like it:
… item_details.json?item_id=ID1,ID2[,IDX]

and receive something like it:
{ID1: { … }, ID2: { … }, ID3: { … }}

Or 1 request = 1 item details only?

If not, consider it as a suggestion.
