PLEASE, make obsidian shard vendor somewhere else because no one ever is going to do the balthazar temple event as there are no lvl 80 mobs for T6 mats. Please Anet create other vendor that gives Obsidian shards for karma.

First we begin with magic find, then we move on to “zerk is the only way”, now “no portals in JPs”. With the way other people want to dictate on how I play my game I should make them pay me for the cost of the game, my computer, my power bill, may as well charge them for my munchies and Pepsi as well. Wait why play in the first place? Let them play for me! After all that is what they want.

The funny thing is the first two MAY affect you but only if I am in your party. Portals in JPs do not affect you as JPs are personal rewards, not group ones.

Mesmers already play for you in JPs

The new T7 mats will be obtainable by jumping puzzles as well, when it is implemented people will get the credit without even doing the work. I am a mesmer myself and I have ported tons of people to jumping puzzle, but the last time i did no one even said Thank You. The rudeness of people is killing me, I believe when someone does something say Thank you at least. So now they will do whole puzzle as a punishment for being kittens

I believe this will stop leeching from mesmer in jumping puzzles, simply by putting a couple of “checkpoints.” There is one JP that uses kind of the mechanic, The Secret Garden, unless you gather 4 “things” you cant open the chest. I believe putting at least one key for the chest in the middle of jumping puzzle, that resets daily with the chest, will solve this problem as everyone would have to get the key first to open the chest, and the key is somewhere before the end of puzzle so you rather finish it yourself than run out to use the portal.

I play on mac, with 4 ram but since mac client is not native it uses up all of that 4 gb ram. So basically I barely move in Lion’s Arch because my computer can’t complete transactions so fast. When we had old culling system it was fine, but now I either have to see everyone in pink, which is horrible, or no one at all. Please let us choose culling system ourselves, yes I know this new one has a lot of choice but could you make so that the old culling system can be on options bar so me and others who don’t have decent computers can enjoy the game.

If you’re just spamming aoe and not paying attention you’re going to get killed. You want to tag the mobs to make sure you get loot, but that also makes the mobs focus you if you hit them before anyone else does or draw aggro from damage etc. If you hit them too late you won’t get loot at all. This happens to me a lot on my guardian with his staff and he gets focused very often. You need to be ready to quickly evade multiple champ/vets.

Only guardians can survive by putting symbols while traited to heal when applying boon to allies, one symbol and almost full healed, also damage to several mobs = LOOT + REGEN

I hope Anet will make a living story update that takes us to past and tells us how Sylvari were created. A story that tells us where they found the seed, what it looked like and where it could have come from. Are there are Pale Tree like plats? I think people would like to hear more about Sylvari, how do they corrupt to become something like Scarlet. Are they mordermoth’s ex-minions? Or what is the purpose of their existence since they are so young.

Could there be another source of sylvari than a pale tree. A cursed, rotten branch that fell off and lives for itself somewhere outside the grove. It creates rotten sylvari such as Scarlet and Canach.

You get what you pay for. Since this game doesn’t have a subscription fee, a ton of kids came to play this game since they can actually afford to play it.

I’ve actually had this happen twice to me and the people that kicked me were 12 and 14, and now I ask everyone’s age before I enter a dungeon with them. If they’re below age 16, then I kick them or I just leave if they’re the party leader. Yeah, the community has gotten that bad in this game. That’s what it’s come down to. Heck, even WoW’s community hasn’t ever been this bad before.

Sure, WoW’s community got pretty bad, but I was never exploited for potential gain like I was in this game. They were mean and they threw insults at people, but they were smart enough not to kick people and invite a friend during dungeons to take my place.

This kind of exploitation makes me want to slap people upside their heads, and it needs to be fixed asap.

Sorry but massive insult to teen players doesn’t mean that they will get better. I am 15 myself, when the game was launched I was 14. I’ve never done something like this, Yes I might have rage quitted a couple of times but I was not payed for it. Your words abuse me and many other like me for nothing, people who are innocent in despicable stuff like this. I do help a lot of players, and have seen some other people do so. Simply asking age before you enter a dungeon won’t get you rid of kittens and kittenheads, this is not Call of Duty!

Anet, please add this option so we can see our own names as we see someone else’s. We want to see our titles and our world completion star. I believe we should be able to see something that we worked for, not only others.

just note, never run dungeons with filthy rich people, they are up to something. Join a guild, a big guild to ask for dungeons and mostly run with friends. I hate that kind of people.

I’m not really into farming, I might farm for a couple of days to just get something I madly want, and something that requires just gold. I am more into different dungeons, exploration, puzzles. When this patch launched i really liked the weapon Entropy, as i had no other way to get it i started farming all over the maps to get enough gold to buy it. The moment i bought it I couldn’t go back to farming and realised what stupidity I was doing for whole 3 days, and how much money I got from that. After that I tried gauntlet, it was so good, need of skill and quick reaction but no rewards, i could not beat liadri but everything i got was 1 gold from T1, T2 and almost done T3. I was also doing fractals not long ago, got to lvl 25 and single run barely gave 70 silver. Arenanet FIX THIS!

What if you do not have time to even log in to participate in the event? Whenever an event is complete, they should mail out the chest rewards to everyone on the server whether they participated or not.

You are rewarded for killing a champion, when you kill a champion, now when an event is over.

that wont work, what if you have to quit in the middle of event?

Since dungeon reward changed, and so did the champion one people started farming cursed shore and are failing events there to farm the most champions. I think the only solution to that should be the reconstruction of champion quantity for each events and also a big event, that happens once a couple of hours and only if certain points are under players’ control, like Karka Queen. I kinda invented this new big event and wanted to share it with you guys.

Event name: Escort weaponry to the gates of Arah
Duration: about 20 mins
Reset timer: 2 hours and only if all given points (ABCDEF on map) are not-contested

This is more event chain than a single event, while escorting players will come across large horde encounters with risen, as well as champions in certain areas. Point holding event and a Legendary Boss at the end. If this event is successful the timer is 2 hours, if failed timer is 2.5 hours, as well as certain points should be uncontested to start the event.

so this is what happenes

1.New weaponry to be delivered to the gates of Arah will arrive at points A, when the event start players will have to hold this point so that airship that holds weaponry can land safely. This point holding event features 2 champions, and tons of other ordinary mobs.
2.Escorting weaponry from point A to B, players will encounter several attacks featuring veterans, 2 for each attack.
3. After arriving at point B players will go through the tunnel and reach point C safely, but as soon as weaponry arrives there a new point holding event will start that features 3 champions.
4. Upon successful completion of event at point C players will continue moving to point D, on the way several risen attacks will happen.
5. When you arrive at point D 3 champions will be waiting there to destroy the weaponry, these 3 champions attack at the same time so players will have to focus on all of the champions at once.
6.Escorting from point D to E is different, instead of attack on the way players will meet 3 Risen Champion Giants and 1 risen champion spider.
7. When players arrive at point E they will have to hold the point agains 5 champions, that will attack during the event, separately. Also tons of other mobs and veterans.
8. escorting from point E to F will be ordinary, but players will encounter 3 champions waiting for them just before they arrive at point F.
9. This is final stage, here players will be attack by 3 champions at a time, 3 times and finally a legendary enemy waiting at the gate of Arah. The final stage will be sort of Meta event and players will get chest for that. For FULL participation players will receive GOLD medal, 1300 karma 20 silver and 60 000 exp. for silver 1000 karma 15 silver and 40 000, and for bronze 750 karma, 10 silver and 25 000 exp.

All would be the strongest. Presently limited trait points hold us from doing “Monopoly” thing, for example a warrior can bullkitten over its damage but if it wants crit damage aswell some limitations should be met. For Mesmers, if we had all trait lines available we would trait mantra healing, triple mantras and with this trickery and toughness…..well all classes would be OP you know.

There are major updates and minor updates in Living story. Major updates brings up new map, new content that will stay for 2 updates, 4 weeks. eg Bazaar of Four winds, Jubilee, Dragonbash, Secret of Southsun. The Minor updates are those that stay for 2 weeks and have less content are are more climax of the story, ex. Sky pirates, Queens speech, Cutthroat Politics, Last stand on southsun. Basixally, major updates give more challanging and bigger content that stays for long time while minors give less content for two weeks.

> Mind shot – shoot a bullet with chance to put one of the following conditions on foe ( Confusion, Blind, vulnerability)

I was watching a video of GW2, it was taken all back in first beta weekend. I saw that in Divinity’s Reach a dynamic event occurred, an inquest invasion. Will we ever see Dynamic events in cities again, would be nice to have some.

Champions dont give you any XP, they are just same mobs as Veterans and ordinary ones. I think you missed something. There are Dynamic Events that occur anytime, anywhere. Sometimes these events include a task to kill a certain Champion, this is common in starting areas, and less common in other places. So I think when you thought you got much XP, like 10% or 12% of your lvl, from Champion, it was actually from Dynamic Event that required to kill that champion and rewarded with XP

I am a mesmer, and yes I am against portal blocking because I like helping community, and I dont ask for tips, there are just some kind people who actually tip, or at least say Thanks before leaving. Yes, there are those lazy as*holes who dont even thank you. Also Portal is a great way to secure your jump. There is also one “JP” its mainly a puzzle where you need to Glitch out asuran portal stuff, you need to set coordinates to certain numbers, if you’re lucky those coordinates are already on, My friend got lucky and I didnt, We are both mesmers. Did it count unfair that he ported me? NO! because we did all the stuff together, he just got lucky.

This is actually something nice to include, I wonder if we can choose the location, or how it works. Maybe we choose a waypoint and it takes us and our friends there, With this we can actually help those people who can not get to certain place, but also this will contribute to CoF as leveling system if we will be able to get to ANY place with it.

Yes i do agree with you that for support full support instead of power, in Cleric’s set, we could use Vitality so we could have Vitality, Healing power, Toughness. This would actually make support builds more supportive and less “RES ME” oriented in difficult battles. Guardians have low health when using Cleric gear, if you trait and use Knight gear, and Cleric trinkets you get like 3k armor, using sheld ofc, and 15k health.

I dont PUG, I also have an Alt, Berserker Mesmer that i use for Fractals and WvW or CoF. I use my Guardian, who has World Completion, on guild missions because as i mentioned i have all the waypoints, and I use it for dungeons that my Guildmates want to do.
