I think this should be available in game, we should have same option for Living Story as for Personal Story. When the chapter of living story is done a new record is added to Diary, which is also in Hero Panel. I think this would be nice, you could just look at what you’ve encountered and even find the bond you never figured out before. BUT there should also be a requirement to do THE META ACHIEVEMENT to get the next chapter in your personal diary. For events like Cutthroat Politics, where you can do 2 meta achievements, only 1 meta achievement should be enough to get the chapter in diary. Also this should be account bound because so are achievements!

some days ago I witnessed “Lady in White” event. I thought it was interesting and wanted to go deeper into it. Why does she come here? Why does she cry at THAT grave? Why does she want to go home? Why cant she? I started my research with looking at her grave. It says “We will see you again” creepy, right? Well with this see you again I think that this is the grave of Lady in White herself. And the comment, “we will see you again” means that her family wanted to bring her back or even “enchanted” her grave. Well, the enchantment became a curse and now that lady is trapped between the worlds. She wants to go home, that’s why she asks for help. As soon as she approaches the gates of cemetery she becomes EVIL, attacks you and says she can not go home. I think this is because she’s a ghost and Grenth is holding her in graveyard.

Thaumanova Reactor

This place is actually one of the most popular places when Fire Ele event starts. The event is held in Thaumanova Reactor That lab exploded causing strange things to appear, it torn the reality and if you look up a portal lies upon the lab. Also people who have done Steam Ogre event in that lab have a better view of portal above the reactor.

Fall of Abadoon

Abaddon a human god of darkness or w/e. The story is pre-guild wars so no one has seen how it happened. Its actually more interesting than some asura lab because its about dark secrets yet not unveiled. We dont know whats hiding in the depths of crystal desert

I think we need some skills for new kite toys

Legendary trinkets will be available this means they will scale up to all new, higher tier, but i dont think they will add anything above ascended soon. And also you will be able to change stat combo any time ooc. This function will be also coming on current weapons.

just re-read and see what you wrote there. You dont enjoy dungeons or personal storyline. You only work for rewards to have better gear than other guy. Let me tell you, you cant get better gear than the other guy because Anet made so that people are not forced into doing exact same thing as everyone else does to get same rewards for some sruff like gear. Exotic gear is droppable, Craftable, bought from dungeons. Ascended rings can be aquired from fractals, and laurels. Ascended amulet can be aquired from laurels. and ascended earring can be aquired from lauels or guild missions. Ascended backpiece can be forged or half-forged from fractals. Basically you came here for rewards and not fun. GW2 is not a game for people who want to have better gear, but for those who have skill and want to have fun

On the airship i saw a sylvari zephyrite, on the cliffs another zephyrite was amazed to see a sylvari for the first time. So is this a mistake? here some pictures.

On the Zephyr sanctum i found a Sylvari Zephyrite. While somewhere else a zephyrite was chatting with a sylvari and was really amazed to see that creature.

How to aim for correct skill

For majority or minority this might not be a secret, anyway this is how you aim for the skill you need. There are two kinds of sacs on the way which give out skills, one is narrow and tall, other is smaller and wider. The narrow one holds “Aspect Master” “Grounded” and “Light travel”, only if you are number 7 or worse, its chance increases with you’re place on the list. The other one holds “Fake pow-up” “Gale” “Lightning rod” “blinding w/e” as well as upgraded versions of those skills.

What will I get??

If you are on 1st 2nd or 3rd place mostly you will get “Grounded” or “Fake pow-up” but for places 2 and 3 there is a chance to get offensive skills as well as chance to get “Aspect Master” For places 4, 5, 6 all you get is offensive skills and mostly “Aspect Master” as well as with a lower chance “Grounded” for all other places you may get everything over from place 4 as well as a chance to get “Light Travel” Note that chance for this skill increases with you place, for place 12 its 50% to get light travel or aspect master, same for place 11.

How to use them

To be first you have to be in first 3 places from start. You should aim for narrow bag because you will get “Aspect Master” either on first try on second, if you fall behind you might never catch up and you will be used as a punching bag. When you are on the first place you should always aim to put as many fake power ups as possible, although you should always pay attention to your grounded skill because its a must-to-have when you are first. Well when you are at last place you have 0 chance to ascend to first so you just take all upgrades on the way as place doesnt matter that behind. You should aim to get to finish in time so take all bags on the way and you will get tons of “Light Travel.”

P.S. These are just my calculations and might be non-precise, and hope this is helpful.

Other then the bow which fires the horses or some stupid crap, do ALL the legendary (most of which are AWFUL!) have special attack appearances for skills? and if so, Auto attack only or EVERY skill on the bar?

Dependes on skill and weapon. Bows have special arrows for all skills except for ranger’s “Barrage” and warrior’s faming arrows. Greatswords are applied to projectiles and stuff that yo throw, as well as other legendaies do, and of course have tail. Dagger’s work as greatswords so do axes. Swords has just a tail. Staff, nothing. Hammer armour becomes covered in silver and also leaves a tail. Spear has sharks on projectiles and shark is eating a guy on crit hit. Trident, NO THING just aura. Scpeter nothing, shield turns pages on attack, focus just nothing. Horn, wolf and snake move. Torch, head moves and breathes fire.

- When i saw this game i checked classes and said “Mine is the mesmer” then i created tons of classes, all but mesmer and leveled warr to 80
- I decided i wanted another class and leveled Guardian to 80 and did world completion
- Deleted my first warrior, it had 2 400 crafts
- Deleted 50lvl thief i’ve been leveling with my friend
- Bought trinkets and 1 ascended trinket and then realized they were not my stats.

Why??

Because it makes jumping achievements pointless, ie…no achievement at all really, for the Mesmer who did the JP and all the players mesmers portal to the end.

Mesmers often demand payment as well…which causes trouble…

Also, Mesmer portal has been abused in loads of different ways and its one of those skills Anet have trouble designing content around because of exploits from Mesmer portal…

Everyone should do JP’s by you know jumping…they will get a better sense of achievement when they do…

I am the mesmer, not the guy who begs for portals. I do all content myself unless I die by accident at the end i would take a portal but I am the portal thrower myself. Nice people always say thank you and tip a little.

I’ve loved the new content and for what it is, it’s excellent in my opinion – a big well done to the team who worked on it.

However, it is utterly bizarre not to have equally in depth content to appeal to non JP players alongside it. No story, no meaningful events, no challenging boss fights. By all means keep making stuff like Bazaar, but supplement it. The story since LS started has been jumping around a lot, some of it good, some of it woeful, some of it ending suddenly without warning.

1 year on, we now really need some meaty content. Living story should be progressing set up stuff for the dragons, not shallow enemies like Molten or Aetherblades, who came and went in the blink of an eye…

After we destroyed molten Alliance refugees were sent to Consortium to work for living. Lion’s Arch council was sceptic about Consortium so they sent Ellen Kiel to investigate. After showing herself in that she was invited to effigy ceremony where murder happened. She solved the crime with help of mysterious Marjory Delaqua. After she found about aetherblades she was sent to deeply investigate their facility. When she caught Mai Trin she was set as a candidate at council, so was Evon, owner of TP and rich charr. Now they are showing people who is better while waiting for elections that will occur in next release.

A thanks. I totally missed that Ellen was up for election and the wohle part with Gnashblade. Where did you get that from? I played all of the
story instances during Dragonbash and Skypirates but that was never mentioned.
I like what Anet is doing with the world and all but the storytelling
is really lackluster.

I just like roaming and talking to NPCs so i managed to sum up all what we;ve been doing for months

Alright normally I don’t respond to posts, just a lurker. I vehemently disagree with the OP.
First off, I spent two bloody hours on that JP. Either the lightning jump would glitch, overshoot ( and yes before you say anything I do know how to use the thing ) or drop out too early. I was near my wits end until a kind charr ported me. My latency being in Australia makes most if not all jumping puzzles near impossible for me so I was thankful to say the least.

So you know what I did… I started porting those I had been jumping with for the last hours, and kept porting people whether they needed it or not. I paid it forward and all this whining because others want things easy is bullkitten. I never would have finished that JP without that charr, and I dare say quite a few wouldn’t of finished it without me. I think it promotes community. It did for me. I do understand however about people crying for a mesmer but I also understand the frustration of that bloody JP / abilities that dont work properly. Sure there are people who just want to get something for nothing, but Im not one of them.

You ported people who were trying to do JP not rudely asking for it.

When molten alliance fell refugees were sent to Southsun Cove to live and work for consortium for living. Lion’s Arch ship’s council was a little sceptic about Consortium so they sent Ellen Kiel to investigate what the hell was happening. She really showed herself in this mission and was granted a privilige to attend ceremony at dragon bash. When a mysterious murder happened at the ceremony she, by side to side to Marjory, investigated the crime and found out about Aetherblades. The was sent to go deeper into Aetherblades and their mysterious appearance in Tyria. When she defeated Mai Trin one of the authorities of council made her a candidate for ship’s council’s vacant place but there is a problem, Evon Gnashblade is also a candidate as he is a rich guy owning whole TP. Nowadays both candidates are trying to prove themselves to people by being brokers between Zephyrites and LA residents.

This is something so true. I had so much fun playing all mini games introduced by Anet, for a short time because i have a bad habit to overkitten and play it until i hate it, I even had fun while losing. Implementing new and fresh mini games is a great way to keep people online. You cant imagine how happy i was to defeat that kitten Norn in Belcher’s Bluff.

Why?? You know this portal is a great advantage for us in JPs because we can secure ourselves before difficult jump. It’s our choice if we grant a person free achievemtn. When I run around doing puzzle, i usually do it multiple times cuz its fun, i see a lot of people trying and dying, there’s nothing wrong to help people who cant do it. This post talks about people who DONT do it and rudely beg for portals.
