It wouldn’t matter what the conversion rate for the expansion is the point is it would give players an alternative way of buying the expansion. Chances are if a player was left behind because they couldn’t afford an expansion they would leave the game so it would be in Anet’s best interest to make sure as many people could get the expansion as they could.

It’s also in Anet’s best intentions to make money off the work they did or they can’t make anything else. Money is what drives the development of new content and what not.

Buying gems to buy the expansion kind of bring into question if they can’t afford to buy it outright with money how can they afford buying the gems to buy the expansion?

Like I said before farming the game for gold to then covert into gems to buy the expansion literally means they are getting a free copy, which also means Anet makes $0 off of it.

I mean no offense to players who can’t afford to buy gems but since they don’t help Anet make money (converting gold to gems doesn’t mean money in Anet pockets) I really doubt Anet is going to come up with a way for them to get the expansion free of charge because they feel sorry for those kinds of players because it’s unfair that other players can afford to buy it while they can’t and they are going to get left behind. Also since the “poor” players don’t help bring in money for Anet since they can’t afford to buy gems, good chance in the expansion they still won’t buy gems thus continuing not helping Anet make money.

Why should it be up to to the players that can afford to buy gems to be the ones to help Anet make a profit while “poor” players think they should get a free ride since they can’t afford anything? Now in my mind that’s what I call unfair.

What ever happened to luxuries come last? If they can’t afford it they can slowly put money aside and save up for it rather than thinking “it’s unfair everyone else has it and I don’t, so since I can’t afford the game Anet should come up with a way I can get it for free even if it means farming the game for gold for a month or longer so I can covert it over to gems to get the expansion.”

OP is spot on! Honestly, I love seeing more stuff I can buy in the gem store…but gold income sucks in this game for a reason…if you want a precursor, then go buy 200 gems and convert to gold. THIS IS BY DESIGN.

This design is flawed, because it leaves the player base with a feeling that the game is not very rewarding.

The design is flawed yes but if the reward for players is to get a large amount of gold or even a good amount of gold really fast then everything in-game including legendary weapons would drop in value fast. Then players would be complaining about nothing feels rewarding anymore since all the stuff that use to be hard to get can now be bought from the market after a good week or two of farming and doing events and what not. Or it could have the opposite effect and a weapon from the trading post that may cost 1500 gold right now could cost 10,000 gold or more since in-game gold has lost all value.

Buying the expansion with gems wouldn’t be bad at all. It would allow players who couldn’t afford it irl to be able to buy. Everyone would be able to experience the content at the same time.

The gem cost for the expansion would translate out to be the same amount of money as if you would have just bought it in a store. So if the expansion would cost say $29.99 the gem cost would be the same value. The only way this would work is if the gold to gem value would stay the same which it doesn’t.

Also giving the players the ability to covert gold they earned in-game to gems to get the expansion would be a bad business move since they are just getting a free copy of the expansion since they didn’t spend real money on the gems. While other players that may not have the time to play and farm the game for hours on end are left having to pay for the expansion with real money.

Not to also forget to bring up getting the expansion via gems would reward players that use bots to farm gold or players that have used exploits and not been caught to make gold a free copy of the expansion for breaking the game rules.

You can always run into these types of players at the Tequatl the Sunless event. There are always certain players that want to try and coordinate the event so perfectly they come off with the attitude any players that never did the event before aren’t welcomed because they will just get in the way.

Once I ask what a certain skill on the Hylek turret did since I didn’t understand it and instead of just telling me what it did I was told by the players with the commander tags on to get off the turret and let someone that knew what they where doing use it. Wow thanks for the help guys.

Other times when I’m in the area and that event is about to start I have seen players go on and say along the lines of “If you are in this group you HAVE to do this, if you are in that group you HAVE to do that and if you are in this group you HAVE to do this. If you don’t do what your group is suppose to do then don’t bother and leave.”

One of my pet peeves in-game is a player or players that are literally demanding at events if someone fully dies just use the way point instead of having other players wasting time resurrecting them.

I’m sure if they do add a expansion they aren’t going to make it available via gems.

You spent $200 (real money) on gems just to buy keys? Wow I wish I had that type of money to just use as I wish. Also $100 for a sword skin and mini set? Spending $20 on gems would give me enough to buy both with some left over.

GW2 players want to help you developers

I’m sure we can help you in creating better and better patches.

I’m sure Anet would love it if you supplied them with the money needed to cover wages and all the time and effort that would be put into making new content like new skills, races, maps, instances and so on.

Another bad thing about your idea is Anet wouldn’t be able to please everyone. Some would want this and others would hate it. So Anet would make something they like but the other group hates.

In the end it’s not up to us to decided the direction the game goes. Anet makes and develops GW2 the way they want to not they way we want it to be.

“But first of all it’s not a big problem if you don’t develop a new living world story season or new changes for a while”

That would be a problem if Anet goes months or a year without making something new, the players get bored and stop playing. It’s a problem that affects all online mmo’s. If the game stays the same for a long period of time and the players do everything there is to do they lose interest in the game and go elsewhere.

As for the bugs. Game bugs will always be there and will always pop up. No game even GW2 will ever be 100% problem free.

See that’s the problem this patch solved. A new player finding out a story mission was to hard because of their level being to low, was to much for them to comprehend and grasp. Made them think to hard. So Anet step in and lock the story missions away until they reach a certain lvl so they wouldn’t be confused with the idea low lvl character vs higher lvl enemy = bad.

That and locking 90% of the game away from them.

I don’t know who they are. There is apparently “tens of thousands” of them and they are also responsible for the China client which ours seems almost like a port of, so maybe they got a bunch of 6 year old Chinese kids.

I really don’t know. If they want to keep these changes, it should at least be totally optional. I really wanted to start an alt yesterday morning but I’m not putting myself through this.

Exactly, I forgot to mention this new update should be optional. Maybe new accounts made after this update should take this on but already created accounts that are let’s say a year old, this should be 100% optional.

I’m not one to make a rant thread but good lord. After finding out all the changes made to help “new” players get into the game easier has left me more confused than any new player probably has ever been in the game and NO I’m not talking about the trading market changes or the story missions they cut out.

Being a GW1 player, that game was a little hard to wrap my head around getting into. GW2 however I saw as a huge dumbing down from GW1 and VERY easy to get into but now Anet has seen it fit to dumb it down even more.

It’s like Anet sees brand new players as (I hate to use the word) kittened. They can’t grasp anything to do with the game and quit forever in about 1 hour because they probably find it hard to walk around.

I just made a new human ranger and I’m not having the fun I use too leveling this character like I did with my other characters because I now feel like I’m now being punished for being able to grasp the idea of being able to login to begin with.

It’s almost like these are the scenarios Anet has come up against with new players.

Weapon Skills

New Player “OMG why can’t I use all my skills the second I make a new character! What’s this I have to beat enemies to slowly unlock the rest of them! I’m so confused, I HATE THIS GAME!”
Anet" Ok here, we now made it to where each level you gain you unlock a new weapon skill. Feel better?"

Vistas & points of interests

New Player “HOLY CRAP I DON’T GET ANY OF THIS! I HATE THIS GAME!”
Anet" OK OK here now you unlock them based on your lvl because they higher you get the smarter you will grow not just in game but in real life also."

Down skills Utility skills and Elite skills.

New player “First normal skills and now all this. DEAR GOD I think I’m having a heart attack trying to take all this in. Again I HATE THIS GAME!”
Anet “OK once again the more you lvl the slowly you will unlock these skills because as a new player you are dumb not just in game but obviously in real life too.”

New player " YAY I like cake!"
Anet “good for you here’s a reward”

My first run in with a point of interest “Oh it’s a landmark like a fort or something else” Vistas “It’s a cut scene that shows the area around me and may show me something I didn’t notice or missed neat.” Unlocking skills “I have to kill stuff to unlock them OK I got it.”

That was just 3 examples. Anet stop acting like new players are complete idiots and GW2 is there first time on a online game. It might be but GW2 was already so dumb down a 5 year old could figure it out in a day. New players and players just making a new character don’t need their hands held the way you are making it seem like they do.

God forbid new players simply play the game like everyone else has to figure out everything with or without other players help. I try to help new players anytime I can or point them towards the wiki if it has something to do with crafting or something else that may not be easy to explain.

In short the game doesn’t need to be dumb down anymore!

Group events are group events for a reason they are meant to be done in groups. Yes I see the frustration with everyone now just ignoring them but it doesn’t mean they should be made into a solo friendly event. It’s like all the champions no one ever goes after. They aren’t going to be made easier so 1 player can kill them.

At this point since the storyline of the “Toxic Alliance” is over with these events need to be taken out of the game.

I don’t imagine they have forgotten about underwater gameplay. I believe one of the dragons is a sea dragon, if I’m right, so I expect sooner or later we will be given a large update for that, unless we’re never going to face all the dragons.

Yes, cause so far we’ve fought… how many Elder Dragons?
I’m skeptical we’re getting any large content updates at all. I’m not sure if we’ll ever fight another Elder Dragon apart from Zhaitan, at the rate that they’re currently pushing out new expansions.

Well the current Living Story releases are slowly pushing us towards a fight with Mordremoth and there is that rumor back up with some proof of an actual expansion pack for GW2 sometime in 2015.

But with the term “expansion pack” being so blurred nowadays it will be probably at best the size of Eye of the North instead of a stand alone game like Factions and Nightfall was.

What I never understood about underwater combat is, why we deal less damage. The best example would be a guardian underwater.. what were they thinking?

I really hope that they are at least still thinking about reworking it. Otherwise it would be a shame.

I think when the dervs were making the underwater part of the game and they realize how hard it was going to be they didn’t put much thought or care into the skills. Hints* why the underwater mechanics feel unfinished, unbalanced and just a afterthought.

Over all if they want to steer away from the underwater gameplay that’s fine, I just think they need to go back and at the least balance it and fix the bugs. That might help get more interest from players and a desire for more underwater content.

Problems with underwater combat:

3 axis opposed to two (sure, you can jump, but you don’t actually fly, meaning your z axis isn’t particularly used). This actually causes problems such as camera angles, depth perception, and other things. Depth is a kittene, because when we see depth in a video game, it’s usually tied to something such as size and/or position on a plane. However, we don’t see that plane so it’s reliant entirely on size and not everyone has experience with size-relative depth. This can make it confusing when you’re checking your range to see which axis you need to change to be in range.

Camera orientation is stuck in “gravity” oriented. While this makes it easier to know where “up” is, while you’re downed, it makes the fighting very, very hard to do. Water is similar to space (yeah, no, it’s not that similar, but in a virtual reality where there’s no gravity pulling you down…) the only “up” and “down” are defined by you, yourself, meaning that down should (or could) be in relation to how you orient your camera, and not how your camera orients itself. If anything, this can be released as a level-gated thing to help ease new players into it, or it could just be there from the beginning (and will revert to the current camera system upon downing).

Not enough keys for control. Defaulted, you don’t even have enough keys. There’s swim down, swim up, move forward, backwards, left, right, turn left, right. There also needs to be rotate axis of control (see camera section). Of course, this makes there be a ton of keys that aren’t very intuitive to control, but it would help make the combat more fluid for people who like to stay in it.

Disparity in skills because, god knows, we can’t have fields underwater. Oh wait, we do. Now, I understand it’s hard to get ground-target skills without, you know, ground all over the place. But that doesn’t mean there can’t be variations. If there aren’t variations, there should be water-only utility skills. Also, there needs to be more variety in water weapons. 2 weapons is enough for players without weapon swap (ele/engie) even though they only have 1. At least 3 or 4 for players with weapon swap. This allows for fluidity and control of combat based. 3 is a good one for players with weapon swap, as most players don’t typically utilize weapon swapping too much, currently.

Tl;dr: Treat water combat like space and stop trying to force the camera on us.

Well said. I think water only skills would have help ease players into underwater combat better instead of finding out there favorite skills have been lock out when they go underwater or at least make the skills have different effects when used underwater.

Ever since GW2 been released, every update, skill balance, living world content release and so on Anet seems to have forgotten the game has underwater gameplay.

Either they have forgotten or just ignoring it as if they don’t care since (I may be wrong) no update like skill balancing ever includes underwater skills or features.

I enjoy the underwater gameplay but to me personally it seems to be just a half finished idea. They built it into the base game then just walk away from it. It was like as Anet was designing the game someone said “Hey wouldn’t it be cool to have game play that was underwater?” everyone was like “yeah lets do it!”. Then after the game was released they thought “how do we include this feature in future updates like the living world releases?” and everyone just said “um, lets pretend it’s not there and maybe all the players will just forget about it.”

At this point and many players in-game agrees the underwater gameplay and combat needs to be completely overhauled. Maybe in the future (more like the far distant future) Anet can actually go back and give this forgotten feature some attention and evolve it along with the rest of the game.

“It needed the players to be more “advanced” in the understanding of the game, so they considered not to focus in it, since is beyond of the normal player skill level".

Personally i loved underwater combat, and i am really good at it. However, beyond it been in necesity of a overhaul, the reason most people wasnt good at it (witch was a down point in their experience) is as mentionated in an above post, the z axis.

Considering the level of skills required for the game and the consequent and factual population level skills, underwater combat was too difficult for most of the players.

Anet recently recognised that in a interview, and explained that it needed the players to be more “advanced” in the understanding of the game, so they considered not to focus in it, since is beyond of the normal player skill level.

That answer your question and the why. In my opinion, as hinted above:
Population skills (not individual skills) are determined for the skill level required in the game and the game ability to teachs its mechanics.

This means that with more “teaching” content and a slowly increasing difficulty curve, underwater combat will be a option. Hopefully this is alredy on work with LS2.

I just wish Anet would just be so straight forward with us instead of keeping it to some obscure interview why there won’t be anymore anytime soon.

Unless there is a living story specifically focused on underwater story,
don’t expect much changes to be updated for it.

Would love to see a living story take us underwater. I fear it won’t happen though because they don’t even acknowledge underwater anymore. Pre-Launch though, they were all about advertising it and showing off how great it would be, then it wasn’t received as well as they would have liked so they just decided to stop trying it seems.

It wasn’t well received because to me it’s half finished & broken and was just a novelty idea at best with no real purpose towards the game as a whole. Anet added it into the base game then had no idea what to do with it and ran away from it. It’s like if they forget about it and never acknowledge it the players will forget about also.

Anet has already addressed this issue in the past and they have made it clear there will never be a console version of Guild Wars 2.

Why? To many to post but here are some reasons why.

Living story content updates would never work on consoles do to the way updates/patches are handled by Microsoft and Sony.

Unlike PC when Anet wants to release new content, patches or updates they can do it when ever they feel like it but releasing new content, updates, and patches on consoles would be a pain since they would have to summit any new updates or patches to Microsoft and/or Sony and wait for them to approve it. Meaning if there is a bug and Anet made a patch for it console gamers would have to wait a week or longer to get it while PC gamers can get it in hours.

See every one thought I was crazy when I made my post of the poor cant compete.

You aren’t crazy because of those 2 posts about how the poor can’t compete, you just misunderstand a lot on how gold is gotten in-game. You go on making it seem like the only way to earn gold is buying gems and then trading them for gold but failed to really take in there is another way to get gold, it’s called playing the game but for you, you don’t want to grind to get it.

Gem to gold trading value goes up and down everyday. This is Anet way of trying to keep the in-game economy stable and if a small amount of gems equal a large amount of gold the economy will suffer.

As for the OP post and many other posts I’ve seen people still don’t get it that you DON’T need fancy looking items and armor to be good in the game or have a large amount of gold to enjoy the game.

GW1 players earned the rewards and the rewards are Anet way of saying thank you to the GW1 players. New players that never played GW1 shouldn’t ever get access to those rewards (which aren’t that great, just saying).

This is just like how new GW2 players (or GW2 players in general) complaining that high end weapons are to hard to get and should be made easier to get. The way the lore comes off to me with their awaking cycle they might serve somewhat the same purpose the Reapers did in Mass Effect (without the whole machines turning on their creators and the world ending a red, blue or green explosion).

What if the Elder Dragons intentional or unintentional purpose is to wipe out the dormant life in Tryia leaving only a few behind and giving the chance for other life to flourish.

I know this isn’t going to be the case, they are evil and want to destroy, just a thought.

With them getting rid of the Cantha district in DR because the Koreans and Chinese can’t get along and them saying they would like to go back to Cantha but nothing is being planed in the near future I don’t think we will see the Deep Sea Dragon anytime soon.

have you seen the reddit post or Woodenpotatoes video? The new patch with the new people are HEAVILY linked with crystal desert. They talk about glint, talk about kralkatorikk and much more. You should check out woodenpotatoes video. he explains everything you need to know

Just contact support like the previous past said. What it probably means is, it’s their way of making sure the charges aren’t fraud. It’s like how if you make a lot of purchases with a debit card in a very short time your bank might call you to verify if it was you making them.

I’ve read all the warnings about the fake emails going around trying to get people to give up login info and what not. I’ve gotten a few but always end up in my spam folder.

I’m just wondering what if someone didn’t know and not just gave up their login info but also their serial code to the game, what kind of damage could someone do with that?

Didn't Anet say GW 2 would be solo friendly?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: joshc.3129

joshc.3129

When Anet first started to talk about GW2 they said they did away with the henchmen and was going to have a single NPC companion system, then got rid of that idea. They went on talking about how PVE was going to be solo friendly but encouraged teamwork because it’s more fun.

I guess what they meant was only the starter areas where solo friendly. In high lvl areas where a character has max out exotic armor and max out exotic weapons completing events unless they are just straight forward is impossible. Take on a champion by yourself and you’re dead in 2 or 3 hits.. To make matters worse in the high level areas like Orr I’m almost surprised to run across another player. In Orr there are certain Karma NPC I want to spawn but I know there is no chance in hell of being able to complete the meta event required alone.

I’m not saying they should make the game easy, I’m just saying it’s a bit unfair to players who want to complete an event but can’t when no other players are around or no players that are around is interested in doing it.

Also is it just me or does anyone else think champions (yes I know they are the bosses in the game) are way overpowered?

Design Philosophy: Then and Now

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: joshc.3129

I really like alot of things about Guild Wars 2.
I believe it managed to successfully stand out amidst the concept of MMO.
I particularly like the style of the world, art and UI.
I like the semi-targetless system and dodge.

Still, alot of it feels unpolished, but I won’t get into details here.
Instead, I want to voice my concerns on ANet’s current design philosophy, comparing to their claims in the Guild Wars 2 Manifesto Trailer:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=35BPhT-KI1E

Everything ANet said in the Manifesto was spot on what I wanted to see in an MMO, but they seem to have gone the opposite direction on some of it.
a) “Guild Wars 2 takes everything you love about Guild Wars 1, and puts it into a persistent world.”
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=35BPhT-KI1E#t=0m48s
I greatly disagree here. Apart from the world, Lore and nomenclature of game systems, most of GW1 is gone.
GW1 was greatly renowned for its extreme customizability.
You could effectively build your equipment exactly the way you wanted; you could play around with builds anytime; there was no gear treadmill and no one missed it.
There was very little randomness in combat.
There was no trash loot – everything was either useful for crafting, or for collectors.
Your superiority over someone else was mostly defined by your skill and strategy, not gear.
GW2 threw away alot of great, solid concepts from GW1 to – apparently – meet halfway with popular MMO standards.

b) “In most games, you go out, and you have really fun tasks – occasionally – that you need to do, and the rest of the game is this boring grind to get to the fun stuff. I swung a sword, I swung a sword again, hey, I swung it again, that’s great. We just don’t want players to grind in GW2.”
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=35BPhT-KI1E#t=1m26s
Isn’t that exactly what we do when we get to max level?
We repeat the same content endlessly for the sake of obtaining certain items.
In fact, isn’t the Magic Find stat proof that you intend players to grind?

c) “As a structure, the MMO has lost its ability to make the player feel like a hero. Everybody around you is doing the same thing you’re doing, the boss you just killed respawns 10 minutes later. It doesn’t care that I’m there.”
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=35BPhT-KI1E#t=1m46s
Isn’t this precicely what happens throughout the whole game?
The same enemy, boss or event repeating every 5-20 minutes?
The process of retaking or defending a point should take longer, last longer and be alot more worthwhile.

Furthermore, the personal story makes you feel like something of a hero for a little while, but in the end the true Hero is Trehearne.
He’s the one who does everything worth mentioning, and then just tells you “he couldn’t have done it without you.”
I didn’t feel like a hero at all in the last half of the personal story.
—-

I think the game has a great potential and I hope ANet keeps up at full steam.

I have to agree, they said they wanted to make a game not focused on grinding and we got just that, a game were we have to grind to get gear, which is really the only real reward in the game.

They said they got rid of the traditional side quests where a npc has a ! over their head because they usually follow, go kill a certain amount of enemies, go collect a certain amount of whatever or do the same action over and over again. What we got in it’s place was the Renown Hearts npc that make you do just that, go kill a certain amount of enemies, go collect a certain amount of whatever or do the same action over and over again. Only difference is instead of a ! over their head it’s a heart.

Dynamic events you complete will cause npcs to remember you and will change the game world for a few hours, a day, days or longer. Honestly when I heard that it sounded to far out there, it was like listening to Peter Molyneux talk about Fable. Dynamic events don’t change anything in the game world since they reset every 10 to 15 mins.

I can go on.

What are your 3 biggest problems with GW2?

If Anet doesn’t do something big soon I really think by the games 2 years anniversary the active player base is going to be cut down 60% from what it is today. More so with the new MMOs coming out this year, Guild Wars 2 won’t be able to draw new people in or keep the ones they have.

Make large content updates, separate PvE skills from PvP skills, stop with the short temp releases (this will help Anet make larger PERMANENT content), overhaul PvE for Christ sake!

They said they where going to make a MMO never before seen and what we got was WoW with better graphics.

“Our primary focus right now is on making the core Gw2 experience as strong and compelling as possible” – taken from Colin’s interveiw.

I guess what what Colin means by “making the core Gw2 experience as strong and compelling” is having the team push out short temp content, focusing really only on PvP/ WvW and adding in more items for the PvE crowd so the players have to grind to hell and back when they cry there’s nothing to do.

Kiel & Magnus conversation not triggering 5/7

Thanks for reporting this! The ‘Future In Politics’ map instance is a known bug.

Originally planned for a conversation between Inspector Kiel and Magnus the Bloody Handed, this conversation now takes place in the open world and repeats a few times each hour. This is an optional scene for players to watch, has no reward associated with it, and helps provide context for the future story.

Thanks again for your reports.

If it has no reward then why does it say, “You have something for me”?

What are your 3 biggest problems with GW2?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Thought of 3 more…. OK 4

1. Underwater combat – underwater combat comes off as something that’s unfinished. My guess is underwater combat was apart of Anets big Manifesto plans to bring a new element into a online mmo thats never been done and use it to add a new layer of depth to the games PvE. That is before they bored and walk away from their Manifesto, turning the game into grind for gear, only really caring about PvP/WvW and leaving underwater combat basically completely pointless.

2. Enemy draw distance is extremely short – it is extremely f****** frustrating when I’m backing away from an enemy (more so a boss) while fighting just for it seeming to get bored and turn around and walk back to where it was. No matter how much you attack it, it won’t care about you until it’s back in its area. While it’s walking away my next big complaint is happening.

3. Enemies health regenerates a 1000x faster then it should – When I’m fighting a boss and have been slowly working away at it for a few minutes, I want to snap my keyboard in half when it gets bored and walks away and all my work at taking it down disappears within 3 secs! Seriously all the enemies ingame seem to regenerate 1000 points of health a second when it’s walking away. Again don’t bother attacking it because it won’t care about you until it gets back to it’s spot.

4. Re-spawning enemies – this feature is the number 1 feature in basically all online mmos that have turned me off to them and the lack of this feature in Guild Wars 1 is what I loved about it. I loved the private maps, I loved how when I killed something it stays dead! Re-spawning for me gives no since of accomplishment.

Wow I just took out an entire camp of centaurs plus a boss, just to turn around and see all the centaurs have already re-spawned. I understand to make a game where you run into other players ingame it basically has to be set up like this but add in how enemy re-spawn time in Guild Wars 2 is extremely short doesn’t help it. I lost count how many times I took the time to clear out the enemies around a boss in order to fight it 1 on 1 just to be killed in seconds when the enemies I took out before hand re-spawned and joined in.

1. GW2 focus on grinding. That’s what I loved about GW1, it I felt like I was playing a game not grinding to get to the max level in order to get to the game just to sadly find out there wasn’t a game or anything to meet me there.

2. Seemingly no desire to build onto the profession. New weapons and skills (sets). At the least add new utility skills!

3. Coming off as having no plans and/or desire to add large content updates. The constant flow of temporary content is nice but personally it seems like a huge waste of money and time on their part having the team make new content just to remove it from the game after so long and never plan on bringing it back. They say the Super Adventure Box will be back in future months but Christ knows when that will be. That should have been permanent to begin with!

At this rate I don’t see how Anet is planing on bringing the other Dragons into the game anytime soon or have content way down the line that will take us back to Elona or Cantha (if the Koreans and Chinese stop freaking out if their cultural styles get mixed.)

I would rather wait say a year for a large content update then have temp content come out non stop.

Just wondering what others think the best stat combo for Elementalist would be.
