I made an exotic set and got with all buffs and food possible 218% MF. that`s the highest possible in the game.

The difference is somewhat noticeable on the quality of drops but very very little. Btw MF doesn`t work on dungeon chests.

Do you have both MF ascended rings? if not you dont have the highest.

In open world farming, yesterday with a guildy, i rea;ized how much MF helps……i to thought MF was a gimmick, but we were farming charged lodestones, and in 5 hours, he had 177% MF and he came out with 5 stones……me with only omnomberry bar, and the rest just my dps gear, came out with none….zip……zero, couple of rares though, 5 to be exact, but not one gave me any ecto’s:(.

Run up to karka>wait for them to throw there white stuff at you>dodge left>dodge right> kill, (this is with warrior though :P), all in all it takes about 8 seconds, and this is with my green MF gear. Plus at karka shells at 8 silver a pop now, im making a killing on’em. The bots though, all of them underwater farming powerful blood from the skelk, and armored scales from the sharks shivers

Either there trying to play the market, or just somebody that has gold, and doesnt really care.

Honestly, since i have turned 80, i have a huge amount of way to make money, therefore money should not be an issue, and this come from just putting in an hour a day to make money, 4 silver isnt that much to use on a waypoint unless your very lazy and dont want to farm or craft. or hell you dont even have to leave the trading post.

Are you sure they didn’t add those stats? was using it today, and was getting a huge increase in might stacks…………maybe it was just my eyes playing tricks…..

It sounds cool but it’s not needed so much. Many events can be soloed, some require a few random people to be done (call them on /map chat), and large boss events can be done by calling random people and guildmates.

I agree, like the warrior is master of all melee, the ranger should be master of all ranged, they need to have firearms also. But anet also, needs to make ranger, able to 1vs1 the 2nd worse class in the game and win first.

I have an all warrior guild, and we run 5 warrior dungeon runs all the time, we aren’t all signet builds, but everything just melts in seconds lol, its fun.

They are plenty profitable……shock farm the mats yourself, if you are buying your mats on trading post your doing it wrong.

i wanna see mf gear a bit more nerfed than usual gear so that it actually may cosat you to bring it into a dungeon, cause as it is now i feel sometimes like i do 33% of the damage in my party and when i ask they all have mf gear, so nerf the stats on the gear not the mf thos a bit so that it might be to risky to play with it in dungeons but not impossible

people will still bring it, all that will do though is, make dungeons even tougher.

Your full of kitten lol, my warrior with full MF, does about 10k with hundred blades, with full power,prec, and crit, i hit 25k consistently, im sure you can imagine what the other damage skills do also.

Don’t assume they have macro’s lol, im one of them that have it on auto cast, it is just easier for my playstyle.

Do they all stack on all 4 weapons slots? or do they only count for the current weapon you have out at the time?

Southsun cove, sawtooth bay is a hotspot for scales, so is the shores where all the skelk are. after 2.5 hours of farming you can easily come out with 250 scales easy. Sharks, skelks, jelly’s, tuna, they all drop them,:), and there all in a tiny area, so AoE is nice

Do elementalist hit 38k with 1 move? does necro? hundred blades does and this is alot of people’s mindset, some people just like big numbers, and thats what the warrior glass cannon is supposed to do, nothin wrong with it. the “magic” classes just never have big numbers compared to the melee classes.

If so do they realize people will be waiting a very long time, when they could be using those resources else where? why don’t they just send a chest to everybody, and be done with it?

it is easy, go to southsun cove where the shark champ spawns…….and profit lol, theresz a limitless amount of sharks,tuna and squid to farm and they all drop armored scales. it is fairly simple to gather 8-15 of them at once, and come out with 4-5 armored scales:), but be warned its best with a group^^.

My utilities were mostly meant for kiting. Theoretically, with S/S, you will be stab dodging and deal as much damage as possible then kite untill you are able to dodge again then go back and rinse fight. If there’s a bunch of mobs, use LB for AoE dmg, melting them down. My main focus should be using LB.

Is my built do-able? Is condition damage reliable? Anything else that could help with LB dps?

I don’t believe anyone who says they get 2 rares and sometimes a corrupted lodestone from each dragon.

I have gotten 2 lodestones in about 30 Jormags (actually 1 was underwater so that was apart from him). And rares are less common in chests. I’d agree with the 50% chance to get a rare overall including adds. Never gotten an exotic ever, even with about 130% mf.

This lol, i show up at each dragon once per day with 177% MF, and i’ve never seen a rare drop from a mob or chest(yes i know MF doesnt help chest loots). Let alone an exotic. out of 667 hours of total playtime, and all the chests ive opened……the kakra event chest is the only chest that has ever gave me anything useful.

I run a full rare set with 5/6 superior pirate runes and 1/6 of another MF rune. Never get the exotic MF set, it is a waste in my opinion at least. I notice I get more rare drops while using it. I put on my main stat set when doing dungeons of any kind though.

I seem to make more money while using it.

Well considering your squishy as hell in MF gear, and hardly do a fraction of the damage you once did………i think the small but improved defense in exotic version is more then welcomed.

Everybody is getting a chest, well im assuming, because everybody in my guild has gotten one and we all have done it.

Isnt it supposed to auto level you 10 levels?
