Oh where do I begin to prove my previous comment, let’s see how about this most recent week of the SoR/JQ/BG matchup. In EB everytime I went there to command we had JQ at umberglade and SoR at Quentins (this was the time in the week that BG was LAST PLACE), please justify 2v1’ing the person in last place because it quite literally makes zero sense. Then there was this time at hills on JQBL where myself and company tried taking a JQ owned hills, we got the south gate down and were working on inner, all of a sudden we get inner down and then out of nowhere an entire SoR zerg comes from behind us, roflstomps us and THEN LEAVES. They didn’t even try to take hills they literally came to YOUR keep and killed US and then LEFT. That’s only last week I can recall numerous times of the 4 month period that 2v1 bullsht happened. Let me be clear though 2v1 is a part of WvWvW, but a 2v1 should always be against who is winning the matchup, so I say butt buddies because you 2v1’d the server in last place and we STILL managed to win second. All i’m saying is thakittens interesting to see how BG fairs when it isn’t constantly attacked from both sides across all maps.

You know its funny, i see all these decent people posting from DB, and yet they are all the recent transfers. It honestly seems like these people have no idea about their new home server yet, especially the oceanic zerg. I’ve gone up against DB many times since launch (im an oceanic commander), I’ve defended a west keep attack from DB for 7 hours successfully whilst outmanned, and until about 3 months ago, that would be about the norm for DB. Then all of a sudden DB realized they could literally DPS the door down without siege; Thats right, the zerg becomes so large, it turns into it’s own siege engine. DB stopped being a server to me then and just became a joke (kaineng is a lot like DB was at the beginning of the blob war too now, but they’ve lost the experienced guys I think).

So please, people of DB.. dont misunderstand this thread being full of DB hate. Its more disdain then anything else. You’ve got the population to be t1 and easily win, but the mentality of something far far less.

I’m sure they outnumber DB until a tower is taken, and then a zerg hops over to take it back because there’s probably nothing else for them to do. Then the choice is defending a paper tower against 40+ or throwing yourself at a 1700/1700 keep that’s pre-sieged with bored DB players watching the place.

I’m a pragmatist by nature. DB is going to win, most likely. But look at povV’s post. How many people are just going to do something else and not put up a fight? That’s fairweather to the extreme. What if it was Mag/CD/Ebay? Mag would win, right? But I’m sure the Mag folks would like it if CD and Ebay at least tried.

The alternative is to go back to static/stable/stale tiers. It’s really hard for me to believe that anyone who is intellectually honest would prefer that.
