However, what you’re describing is you spawncamping someone and getting killed while they’re still in their spawn. It’s not an exploit. Just back off and let them hide in spawn where they can’t do anything. It’s the same as if they were standing in their main spawn entrance. Would you charge in past the legendary guards to try and kill them?

It may be unintended, but every server does it and it’s really pointless to complain about it at this point. If Anet fixes it, then it’ll be fixed, but so far they haven’t stated it’s an exploit.

Well this is certainly something. A friend just linked me this, after us first seeing them announcing a toughness buff at a tower over team chat. Anyone else have more experience with these fellows? What are they all about?

I always thought Original Gankstars was a spin-off of Original Grubstars. I know Grubstars has really strict requirements for entry. I couldn’t solo the grub in eternal and I didn’t get in.

This is the first match I have seen people…stretch the rules. I don’t know if joining a party with someone from another server and then getting a portal from that person counts as cheating. I have done it once in the jp. Seems like a lot of desperation for a match that was decided between 4-5am est on the first night. I stood in wonderment at what my server did and took no part in it. Checked the walls and door to be sure. All pretty much maxed. 30 enemies inside the tower. I asked my server what the hell they were doing. Then turned my head and moved on. Well I think I actually logged out because of how full of crap that was.

You can’t take enemy portals. What?

And no, again, we’re not talking about quaggans or a poor mesmer sweep. Maguuma knows about hiding mesmers.

Nobody is blaming the entire Dragonbrand server for the actions of a handful of hackers. Unfortunately, that server seems to have the most in all my experience in wvw, so it’s easier to judge and generalize and harder for some people not to as the incidents pile up. The smart ones simply have fraps ready to record and leave it off the forums.

And no, this isn’t hacking or exploiting in terms of using funny pve items or lag.

DB is playing smart by attacking Maguuma BL when we’re already busy on the western side. It’s opportunistic.

What is with the FA chest thumping when coming down to T3 where this tier obviously has less population than us in wvw. I’m pretty sure everyone already knew the outcome of this matchup so to go around chest thumping for a win that doesnt mean much is somewhat childish.

Sorry to smash you but you’re wrong. Look at the last week matchup against Tc/BG/FA.
We had all maps on que and about 70-80% of the time we had less ppt against them during primetime. we obviously weren’t doing a good job.

Confusion damages you when you perform an ability. It can be cleansed, but it is also on a timer. Look for the debuff in the bottom right to see if you have confusion stacks on you.

There seems to be a misconception that Maguuma does not care about points. This is simply not true. Maguuma holds the record for the most infraction points over any other server in the history of GW2. I challenge any other server to compete with us on our level.

Where were all these pseudocivil RE posters last week? It would’ve made for a better matchup, I think. I hope you’ve truly changed them, TC.

Also, are we Mazergma or Maturtle? Because one of those things is not like the other. Personally I like Maturtle since it means we know how to defend, but it’s a compliment to think FA believes we can match their numbers, too.

Ehh… I think we just get carried by WM. Even with all the NA guilds that transfered, the past 2 weeks, we have struggled to take the lead during reset night, and it is only when NA finally goes to bed that WM does the night-cap, giving us the lead.

We have a lot of good oceanic guilds that put in a good amount of hours besides WM. Also our NA guilds really aren’t that bad, past reset night all borderlands normally hold their own pretty well (last week WM was only assigned to EB). If anything its the EU presence we lack. After the oceanics go to bed there is a 4-5 hour window where the maps are extremely volatile due to very small numbers on all sides and so leading up to NA prime time you never know how the maps are going to look.

WM are for sure a huge asset though. The main issue with reset really seems to be lack of cohesion between guilds and pubs, which is to be expected given what a short amount of time Kaineng has had to gell. Most servers manage to assimilate pubs well into their zergs, we don’t and are often noticably 10-15 man short on reset night.

Something to work on for sure. This is already looking like it will be a great week.

Last week you lost your garrison in about 5 minutes following reset. I wouldn’t call that holding your own.

Most of the regular kaineng posters have stated that’s all they think matters, which is true if you want to move up to tier 1 and be The Best Wvw Superserver. I imagine if they don’t stomp in tier 1/2 when they get there (the real ones, not the projected matches for next week), we might see another exodus. The whole “tier 1 is obviously better” mentality is not something I understand at all, though.

Kaineng may have learned a lot from having overwhelming coverage and not needing to try very hard, but how to defend Stonemist was not one of those things. All we ran into was one arrow cart and a half-built ballista.

I believe it has to do with whether or not you have a keep with the bank upgrade in it.

It’s pretty easy to count how many players are assisting in a tower defense, especially if it’s less than 10.

The negatives: N/A

The positives: Able to abuse culling, allow people to skip jumping puzzles, allow people to get keeps/towers without breaking any gates or walls.

So my question to you is…

What negatives does the mesmer portal have?
