I understand that elder races have no chance against ED.
But still I think that because of ED we still have magic in Tyria. Maybe magic it’s like a water? If there’s too much water in a glass, it’s starts to pour. And if magic is limited, after thousand years it may end because no one will pour water into a bottle.
We need more information to make an accurate statement, but we really don’t have a choice if we do or not. It’s either: we kill them, or they will kill us.
Or we’ll find someone who can hide us.
Elder races (like Jotun) survived the cycle because Glint helped them stay hidden.
Races like Mursaat, Forgotten or Seer prefer to hide instead of kill the dragons. That’s strange.

Mesmer had interrupt skills in GW1 and now he’s illusion fighter. And if server can handle 3 mesmer illusion why not 3 spirits?
And don’t forget that Ritualist could cast a spell that changed his weapon to more powerful.
What about Spirit Warrior in heavy class that can cast a spell to change his weapon?

The Priory believe that we need to get more knowledge to destroy the dragons.
The Vigil believe that we need more people to kill the dragons.
But Orders of Whispers believe that we can’t kill the dragons and we need take them to the bed.
We killed Zhaitan so it looks like OoW were wrong. Or maybe not? Maybe “we can’t kill the dragons” was just a metaphor? Maybe someone will replace them (like champions of ED). When there’s too much magic, Dragons wake up and consume everything, reducing magic to low level. What will happen if we’ll kill all dragons? Who will reduce magic to low level? Is it dangerous to have too much magic in the world? Maybe this cycle is important for the balance and we shouldn’t end it?
And is it possible that the last dragon will be too powerful because he will be the last and he will consume much more magic than normal in cycle?

Will ANet delay season 2 because of Chinese version?
If they’re not going to synchronized NA/EU and China, every episode in Chinese Living Story will be spoiled.
If they’re going to put version after season 1, why the hell they showed in trailer LA before destruction and didn’t mention anything about Mordemoth and what Scarlet did?
But if they’re going to delay it… hey, it’s one year of waiting for season 2!
It’s not about money. It’s just not fair that someone who don’t care about team, spam aoe everywhere and chasing player (instead of stay with zerg or rez downed player) is more rewarded than someone who rez everyone, casting buffs and heal other players.
I could use time that I lost for: healing, buffing and rezing other players and just kill someone.
It’s just not fair.
ANet forced player to play WITH a team. But in my opinion, ANet should force player to plays AS a team. If running WITH a team and attacking other players is more rewarded than running as a team and staying together (by team I mean “zerg”) I don’t see any point in helping others because I’m losing. It’s just better to don’t care.
So I give might, reflection, speed, aegis and other bonuses to give other players opportunity to get more loot and I got nothing because I was focused on healing, correct? lol, no
There should be a system that calculating my buff and heal done or it should calculate some of my buffs as assist.
Not quite sure which was worst, but:
I deleted the character that I had my Celebration Cap on.
I used my level 20 scrolls on characters I then later on deleted.

I always love to support or heal players but in GW2 I play sd engineer/pu mes. I really tried to be support but it’s not rewarding. What’s the point of stacking might, casting reflection, stability or healing if I can get rewards only for killing? Class with many AoE skills win (if we’re talking about reward).
I’m asking because in next update we’ll get more support traits but I don’t see any point of supporting zerg (buffs, healing) in WvW if I can only get reward for killing.

I think Scarlet is going to attack LA for some (normal) reason. Maybe the energy in LA will attract her nemesis or maybe there’s a Bloodstone somewhere?

Sorry, if you didn’t know it’s coming, it looks like you read only achievement tab, not the dialogue. I was 100% sure this is coming after interview where dev told us, that we’ll get exciting living story related to Sylvari.
And about trailer, if it’s really real, it will be awesome. Finally, living story in world plagued by dragons not by another mini-game. Amazing!
Also, you can hear “Do not touch” thumper. But I don’t know why can you hear it in the LA. I never saw any thumper there.

Oh, and it looks like Gate Hub Plaza in Lion’s Arch.
You know what I think? If you’ll go to Corliolis Plaza (inactive gates) you can see workers of every playable race. Every worker is connected to one gate. It like Gate Hub Plaza – Peacemaker Officers near gate lead you to Rata Sum, Wolfborn lead you to Hoelbrak etc.. I think that someone will destroy Gate Hub Plaza to cut off connection to all races capitals. With that, capitals would be vulnerable to attack and people would be too spread out. So they’ll have to connect quickly to capitals and they’ll use Corliolis Plaza.
Eh… by “melee combat” I think: “grab a wrench and start beating people over the head with it”.
FT, EG, Bombs for melee combat? Are you just hating or it wasn’t obvious for you?

Are you surprise? I want to play with my turret, but I can’t. They have very small hp, they can’t move and have funny damage. I have 4 options:
- lame in WvW, PvP, PvE,
- change my class,
- exit the game,
- join to winning train (grenades)
I want to play this game and I want to play my engi, so I have only one option, last one.

I’m not talking only about Vabbi, I’m talking about every small-populated server. I know that queue is more important than small-populated server because there’s a lot of “medium” and “high” servers. I just don’t understand why ANet don’t want to speak about it, say what they think about it and what they’re going to do with this. Comunication between us and ANet [WvW] it’s just sad. If WvW isn’t important to them, why they’ve added this function to the game? They could make Alliance Battle, it’s less lore-stupid than WvW.
Why it’s a joke? I played on Blacktide server and because of boring WvW I transfered my account to Vabbi (free transfer). Now I understand why Vabbi is last everywhere. We fight very good and bravely even if we’re outnumbered (lol, we’re better than Blacktide!) So why we’re last? Because of lack of people. Everyone zerg us: RoS, FoW, Dzagonur, Blacktide. We’re outnumbered again, again, again and again. You sold this game not only because of “epic” story and “dynamic” events but also because of WvW. And what? Instead of make some boost for small servers, like Vabbi, you’re making new map for queue.
Someone from ANet should transfer his account to Vabbi and play WvW for awhile.
So, ANet, what are you going to do with this?
1) Say: “Nothing is off the table.”
2) Say: “We don’t see anything wrong here.”
3) Say: “[after one year] We’re still working on that problem. You’ll see exciting changes before next year.”
4) Merge servers.
IMO we can’t defeat dragons.
Glint was very wise. Still, she preferred to hide other races before dragons. She could say: “Together, you can defeat them” but she didn’t do that. Why?
