I thought the skillpoint was at least once per day per account, what wouldn’t have been OP or anything. You could have got it with the character who needed it the most and be happy.
I mean… a skillpoint per day for every character on your account would have been the greatest Addition to the homeinstance by now.

Sadly… it is of no use after using it once. You can still go there with new characters but 1 skillpoint… really? You get a lot more from lootbags and stuff… And it’s not that resetting stuff in your home instance was impossible.

Yeah you can always take People to your homeinstance later to Point out that very unique and Special private skillpoint and quartz powerup place they’d probably never have but seriousely… Who would even bother? xD What’s so Special about it? Only the fact that you have it, and they don’t? You can always go to Queensdale for free to do thequartzstuff… Or Wayfarers Foothills…

I always sell my quartz, so I don’t really Need that Thing.
Too bad it doesn’t work like we all thought it would.

I thought we got an ultimate treat for that part of the Story but actually it’s just a matter of: haha look what I have here… (which is boooriiiing) PLUS it doesn’t even look good… (And considering the fact that I truly hate Krait…)

I’d like new rezzanimations too.
Maybe that would bring People to do more rezzes than the 1000 needed for the lame title and a few achievement Points.
There’d be a lot of ideas for it if you tnink of it closely. ^^

It’s not that I wouldn’t like permanent Content. But if the meaning of permanent Content is turning beautiful maps into orr-alikes then Count me out.

I really can’t stand those devastated Areas anymore. Everything is dark and foggy and the Beauty is gone…. Orr is boring enough, there’s a reason why I don’t hang around there longer than necessary. If this Devastation is going to one map after another well…

I’m sure there is more stilistic stuff than making everything once beautiful dark and ugly (and boring) to create a threatening atmosphrere. Don’t get me wrong, I found the changes Fitting – for a limited time, that is.

This whole stuff about scarlet is really starting to push me away. We have five (rahter 6) Dragons… What do we Need that kitten Girl for? x_X°

As for that Thing… It’s prbably the nightmare tree that’s left over from killing path 2 in twilight arbor. That’s what we call Recycling… xD

Anet, do you really hate Sylvari that much?
First, you make them the ultimate villians. (Well Canach was okay, but Scarlet… and now the offshoot of the nightmare court…) Unless they’re no Minions of Mordremoth it is starting to get annyoing. Then, you ruin Twilight Arbor, and finally you ruin the 120 Gold EXPENSIVE T3 light (male) Armor without even a WARNING!

Haven’t you checked it, before relasing it? It Looks awful! I would hae NEBER spent 120 Gold for THIS!
First, the Detail is completely gone. It Looks like a mixture of wax and plastic no, but not like leafes anymore. And no Color in the world does Change that.
Second, the Colors seem totally washed out. They look awful. I had to get everything a tone darker to fix that. (Only it doesn’t help much) On top of that, the colorscheme is different now. It looked great before, now, there’s no way to get the old look back. The whole armor set is ruined! Not to mention that the same Color has different shades on different part of the armor. -.-
And finally the glow… yeah well… if you left the Detail as it was and just used the glow of the Body for some parts it would have looked a lot better. Not to mention that the glow on the upper part is way too much. But I could live with it, if it looked like it did before. The venes of the leafes on the back where in the skincolor of the Body, which looked great. Now they seem to be painted, and glow in two different Colors…

There have been good suggestions on how to fix it for everyone above me, PLEASE revise that! Or can we have or Money back? This is NOT what I bought, or would have bought in the first place…

As for T2 light… (male) no glow, excluding the legs wich glow like a Christmas tree, other than that, it Looks completely messy now, AND like cheap plastic. It doesn’t look better on females though… Totally ruined too.

You really know how to upset… It’s not that there are tons of armors for Sylvari out there. Not even a single one in the shop, and only two different sets of town clothes…. And you crush the least variety you got by this…

I truly hope you NEVER touch the not glowing nightmare armors!

So much room for so much Story… but all that turns out is… well… yeah… THIS… or better nothing… yawns

We’ve had a lot of theories about the sylvari Story, what could be and what Anet could do.

The truth is… I don’t even trust them to even have a look over their plate’s borders.
The Story so far is… low, pretty low compared to what they could have done by simply following the Lore they’ve put up themselves.
I don’t even think that there would ever be a Team up. And even if, Caithe couldn’t really fall into nightmare. I mean… she’s an essential part of the living Story. It’d be rather confusing if she did, and you still have her in the Story. It would all have to be re-written.

Then, judging by what they did to TA I’d rather say everything’s possible. But I don’t really expect them coming up with something really surprising anymore. Especially if it Comes to Scarlet. rolleyes

She’s just an annoying b…. well you know… ^^"

And finally… I think I couldn’t care less for the Story unless I ever see at least something relevant Happening. And by thus I do not mean a manic Powerpuff Flower like Scarlet appearing and annoying the hell outta me in any way possible. Since the last patch, I’ve been out so far… x_X

I don’t feel this is going anywhere exciting or intresting at all but well… We’ll actually see what the future holds, if the game hadn’t gone all the way down the hills by then.

I think I’ve spent a lot on the gemstore, supporting the game, and it always felt like a good deal to me, but I don’t feel like like supporting the direction the game goes at this Point anymore.

Not to mention that they’ve taken away a Level 55 dungeonpath from the Players, but one of the only ways for Sylvari to obtain decent leafy armors as there are only the culture armors and TA. For any other race there are plenty of clothes…

Yet they’ve taken away permanent Content People liked or what it was. I still don’t get it, and I won’t in the future. This is plain frustrating and demotivating. Sadly, I don’t feel like logging in at all.

Maybe it’s just been the famous last drop, but it feels like something has died…
Well if they give up on something seeming permanent so easily they shouldn’t wonder if Players eventually feel the same about their game.

It’s true, F/U path WAS the most challenging in TA (well after you messed around with it that is… it’s been way easier before) but it actually belonged to its Story. It belonged in there and still does. And if you know how to beat the Boss exactly it’s no big deal at all.

I’m really upset with how things were going in the present past and still are.
I’m fed up with being frightened of what the next 2 week’s update will cause again.
Seriousely, this isn’t fun anymore. Not at all!

It’s really sad to see a game that’s always been something Special compared to others being ruined Piece by Piece every two weeks. I can’t stand that anymore.

If this continues to go on like that I’ll have to watch out for something else or simply stop playing MMO’s at all. They tend to get ruined all the time anyway…

Either she shouldn’t have a chest at all to prevent People farming her all the time, or there should be a timer before you can actually hurt her, so People would have the time to come to the waypoint she’s near to. (If others even Report her, most of the time I had to ask myself)

Yeah or she should have thrice her actual health, or even more.
I’ve spent a few hours on These Events, I helped there, died several times without being revived and jumped from waypoint to waypoint to Close Portals, but I NEVER got the kitten achievement for killing Scarlet, because I’m either infight and can’t wp at all, or I’m just not fast enough. Scarlet gets ALWAYS killed on my sight without me having a Chance to hit her for the achievement. I don’t care for that chest at all! And it starts to get way more annyoing than the fact that the Event is lost for you if you’re kicked off the game, because the Overflow you’ve been on is full…..

Please Anet, DO something… It’s not that I really like this update. Forcing Players to do stuff they don’t want to enter Content that is still there isn’t the right way imho, but forcing them to do it over and over and over again because they get kicked or miss the Boss because of all the farmers…. This is just sadistic…

Now, that we do not only have a variety of bufffood, Tonics and toys such as the kites, the balloon or the Musical instruments, bank-Portals and so on, it would be really nice if we had a skillbar with 5 to 10 spaces where we could store this Kind of stuff to easily activate it by using a key combination such as ctrl+1/2/3 w/e or stuff.

It gets tiring always having to open the inventory and doubleclick the desired item with thegroving variety. Just give us easy access to them!

I guess farming holograms gives you a fair Chance to get them for free before you have 25.000 pieces of candy already. I mean look at the Price they have on TP, it’s dropping hour by hour.
And then there are still Players hoping to get some wings by farming holograms to make some Money with them.

As for myself, I already got the wings but still Need the achievement.

In the patchnotes it says something of a “Marriner’s Horn”, which should actually be a permanent Instrument (just like the unbreakable bell) and should be available in the Gem Store, or BLTP…

They may be good for WvW or sPvP if people play without characternames shown, but apart from that they’re pretty useless.

My necromance is a Sylvari, I think his look is all right. ^^

I only play Sylvari anyway, and as they only have 4 sets of leafy armor per armor class… Well… yeah, there COULD be more, really.
Considering that one is a reward from TA, and another one is EXTREMELY expensive (120G for a lousy golden armor, every full exotic armor with the stats of your choice WITH weapons AND sigils AND runes(!) does cost a LOT less!
The other 2… well yeah… Are okay. around 3 or 8G isn’t that much of a big deal to me.

Buuut yeah we need more choice, either in skins or real armors, not onl for Sylvari, but for every race/class.

Even worse, transmutation of items (like karma weapon for skin or whatever) resulted in the item being ACCOUNTBOUND – which was great – but now they silently changed it to SOULBOUND – which is more than only bad!

I was glad that I could go to a karma vendor with a high lvl character to buy a certain weapon skin, transmute it and then send it to a low level. (which in the end means: MORE use of Transmutation stones as he grows in level) Now I wasted my karma, just to find out, that this is impossible now.

So I will either have to wait untill the low lvl character has enough karma, and THEN use Transmutation crystals, or just skip that untill he grew to lvl 80…

What’s the though behind changing it so suddenly and without even telling us? Why? I want the old system back. Things that were transmuted before are still accountbound. New one’s are not.

I have every available color except one, which is actually a dark violet that sells for an insane price for no reason on one character. I wanted to collect them all.

But as I do only buy the ones I really need on other characters, I wouldn’t want to see them being account bound.

It’s a fact that you find unique combinations far easier, if you have less to choose from. I wouldn’t want to have this mess of colors on every character, unless Anet doesn’t allow more than 8 colors in the favorite’s tab.

If we could add around 24 colors to our favorites I wouldn’t mind though.

I hope that the minis from the holiday boxes become tradeable, once Wintersday is over, but Foostivoo should stay accountbound.
The prices on TP would go insane, but we have enough minipets of no use, so that everyone wh wants a foostivoo could make him with less money, than just buying it from TP.

Bacause people actually do not think about it, they just see the money they could make i other people fail in thinking too.
And believe me, there may be enough of them out there, and as long as they are there, people will succeed in selling them their stuff… ^^"

Yeah, that was a nice one, though I throew all of my frames into the mystic forge to get the endless Toymaker’s tonic, did craft one mini and bought a second (well the one’s I liked best. )
But I’ll keep the cogs for next year, if we’re able to craft them again, I’ll just go ahead and make the missing 3, if we get new ones…. Well I’d have one more, so what.

If you read the information given on WintersDay carefully you should notice that.

Everyone who visits Tixx during his time in LA will get a special gift. (I think it’ll be instance no6 then.) Or they can repeat the last instances if they missed one, OR they can take part in the toypocalypse, which is probably just another instanced activity just taking part in the middle of Tixx’ infinarium, where you only have to defeat Toy waves for some achievements for WintersDay and maybe some little reward.

You forgot a fourth feature, which I miss painfully after playing Aion for 3 years:
We need Chairs and tables and stuff we could ACTUALLY SIT on!
You have to try with the sit-emote now, sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn’t.
As some NPCs sit on chairs and stuff I suspect that it MUST be possible somehow…

And even a fifth feature: Turn off automatically being kicked every 30 minutes IF one is using ANY chat channel. It’s annoying to always have to use a skill, or stand up and walk a step if you’re currently roleplaying, always having to say: ((I didn’t do this!))
What’s the big deal with this anyway? It doesn’t affect anyone but roleplayers. ^^"

Did anyone get the broom from halloween?
It doesn’t even make you faster, but it kinda gives the feeling of a mount.
I would be perfectly satisfied if there was a Moa that did the same. Just a cute Moa to ride, while it doesn’t even make you faster, just for style. x)

Although I have to admit that I wish for some kind of mounts sometimes. But I don’t think this will happen too soon, if even ever.

Dear Toymaker. I have been very good this year.
I helped out a lot of people all over Tyria, though I still feel suspicious towards humans. I’ve grown a lot of useful plants, and even lived in the cold snow of Hoelbrak.
I challenged a lot of nightmare out there, and beat it.

This year, I only wish for the following:

- More ideas on growing my own armor (more leafy stuff, please!)
- A cute white Moa to ride! (even if it was just for fun, like the broom and no real mount!)
- More variety in costumes anyway
- No level-cap raising, I feel strong enough to handle all the challenges!
- A flute!
- Some candy
- Oh and forget about the Dolyak to carry my stuff from last year, it would probably just eat me… >_<"

I’d love a little Dolyak.
I even love to transform into one by using Toymaker’s Tonic.

But yeah I think we got enough minis. (Managed to get 6 of 9, I’m not a collector, nor did I like 4 of them at all) So I’m very excited to see what it might be. _

I just hope this time there won’t be a thousand threads about people not being satisfied with a GIFT. I enjoyed this event so far, and by now I got everything I wanted out of it. So whatever the gift will be, it’ll be a bonus. I don’t think that it will ever be able to top the things I got already.

I’ve seen some screenshots floating around: After 3 Years of another game and a lot of complaints about the crappy underwear they’ll finally change it to something more modern and cool.

I don’t think that will happen here. I actually find my leafes rather funny, looks like a thong on a guy, pretty unsexy imho… xD But well… I’ve got some more leafes to cover that for god’s sake! ^^

There’s only one really annoying NPC in each town, the profession guy.

I’ll try on the endless Tonic tonight, and if I will get the endless Griffon Tonic out of it it’ll still be a good deal. xD

First of all, I don’t think the 3 mystery box tonics will ever be included. Would be nice but you can still by them from TP.

Second, you CAN craft the Endless Toymaker’s Tonic BY CHANCE! (Note, you will NOT have a guarantee that it WILL come out!)

You need 4 endless Toy tonics (e.g. Endless Toy Ventari Tonic, Endless Princess Doll Tonic, Endless Griphon Tonic, Endless Toy Soldier Tonic)
You can create an endless Tonic by throwing the following into the mystic forge:
- 50 Walls of enchanted stuffing
- 50 drops of glue
- 1 pile of glittering dust
- the frame of the tonic you like (Toy Ventari frame for example)

The chance is ~25% that you’ll get out the endless Tonic.
NOTE: If you fail, you’ll get your frame back each time!

If you finally managed to create 4 of the endless one’s, you can throw them into the mystic forge to either get one of these:

- the fifth tonic – the one you didn’t use for forging. For the tonics named above, that would be the golem one.
- Endless Gift Dolyak Tonic
- Endless Toymaker’s Tonic (which actually contains the Dolyak)

NOTE: Again, there’s no guarantee WHAT you will get of these, nor is there a way to claim your original one’s back – you use the mystic forge at your own risk, as usual!

You can get it out of the mystic forge, if you throw in 4 endless wintersday toy tonics, but only by chance.

You’ll either get:
- the fifth tonic, which you did NOT use during forging
- The Dolyak one
- Endless Toymaker’s tonic, which actually contains all 5 toys PLUS the Dolyak.

No mystery boxes dropped, nor did I ever see a BL key on neither of my characters, but I know a bunch of people who were lucky enough to drop a few.

Uhm… If you like one of the minis best, you just craft it, and use the other for for endless tonics which you will hopefully be able to combine into an endless Toymaker’s tonic, which randomly gives you ond of the 5 possible appearences. So I can’t see how this was bad. Well… assuming you CAN craft an endless Toymaker’s… But we’ll probably get to know this later on. At least I hope so. ^^

Yeah I know that I can buy them. I already bought the Toy Ventari, that’s why I don’t mind if I can just get the plushie for today only. That equals 2 so that’s just perfect in combination with the endless tonic. (IF combining 4 of the endless ones even ends up in an endless Toymaker’s one) I’m quie excited to find out.

I’m not one of the people who need to have ALL minis anyway. I just liked Ventari (as I only play Sylvari) and the Plushie. ^.^

Are you even sure that you’ll get an endless Toymaker’s tonic (accbound) by combining 4 of the endless Toy tonics? I mean… it sounds quite obvious, but still.

That would mean that if you wanted the tonic, you could only craft one of the 5 minis. (I bought the Ventari for gems, and will create the plushie later on) so I managed to end up with 3 endless tonics by now. I don’t mind creating another tonic of the golemframe but… I wonder if there is a way to craft the endless Toymaker’s tonic by only using 3 of the endless ones and something else? So that you’d have your 2 pets AND a tonic maybe?

Anyway, please keep us informed what happend once you threw everything into the mystic forge. I wouldn’t dare anyway before I know the outcome.

I agree with Nefara. I’m working on my third level 80 character, and there’s still so much to do.
It would be fairly enough if every new content was Level 80. You could even add a few new skills per class for an/every add on, but we do not need a highr levelrange.
Nor do I want to see any changes in the traits we have. They’re just perfectly fine like everything else is.

I chose GW2 because I was fed up with all these progression stuff. (e.g. You just got 5 max level characters, you equipped them and you’re good to go, then the update comes and… well you have a lot of work to do to get everything to your personal like again.) I have become so tired of that, so PLEASE do not change how GW2 works now!
It’s something special and it should stay that way!

I’m not intrested in the full makeover kits at all. First, because I love my style, and second… well if I wanted another appearance so bad I’d buy another character slot and start an alt.

Y’all know what happens to a flower if you put ink in their water? Their petals dye in the color of the ink so… You know, drinking orange juice will color the petals in a light yellow, cherry juice in red… and whatever else tonic or drink… Well I think you get the point… xD

Other than that it’s just great fun to dye the petals so they fit to the leafes you wear all the time. (I only have 7 Sylvari btw…)
