As the title says… When I went to a dark place and took out that torch everyone could carry I noticed that the flame has a nice particle effect now, but the torch doesn’t emit any light anymore, which makes it pretty useless.
Please fix that! I really liked that I didn’t have to depend on a HoM sword or Balthasar backpiece on every character if I wanted some light.

I’d be enough to grey out the old mapchat like guildchat is greyed out if you’re sending messages to / receiving messages from a guild you’re not representing at the moment.. That’d show that the chat is from another instance/map and highlight the new messages in the usual color.

I don’t think that anyone would need the info that they switched from x to y because they know it.

Alternatively the chat could automatically delete all “old” mapchat from another instance / zone on switching, like partychat is (or was) automatically deleted on leaving the party.

Other than that you could still try to orientate by showing timestamps. That might not always be reliable, but the only thing you could do by now.

Haha yeah, since HoT’s been out I’m burning them like nothing. XD
At least make them more common in Black Lion Chests. Nobody really needs crafting bags, they’re simply not worth it.

I like the idea about the map completion stuff though. Although I’d suggest that these created maps stay accountbound and you’re not able to sell them to other players.
It is part of owning a legendary weapon that you have to complete the worldmap – if you’re too lazy you’ll have to buy the Legy (old ones) or stay away from it for good (new ones) that’s just fair.

But I agree that map completion is a pain to do on alts. Plus, using the item shouldn’t give you any EXP as you didn’t really do anything but to consume something.
And it should cost some money to create that kind of item.

You should just follow me… I have the ultimate luck to ALWAYS be there where these kitten whirlpools spawn and I do NOT need to be pulled in at all! It’s really annoying if you’re the one with the commander tag above your head. :C

My PC has roughly double your specs and I only get a constant 60fps if I’m alone somewhere. If someone’s with me or in cities it drops down to 30 instantly, and on mass events like Teq and stuff it even tends to drop lower than 20 – nothing I can do about it, so… ^^

Breaking the first bar is actually pretty simple if you have everyone willing to help on the platforms and wait – do nothing but simply wait – for his purple breath attack. After that, count to 3 and jump, and pretty much bomb him down using skill 1 aimed at his head as soon as the def bar is able to be broken.

2nd one is a bit harder as it may not be predictable exactly.

But IF you succeed to break the first bar you’ll have to drop down asap and DPS him down to 50%.

As for the crystals: Destroy them from above in the same way you break his bar. That’s way more effective than 20 idiots standing on every crystal spamming their autohit. (sorry for the idiot but I’ve seen a lot brainless people in my over 30 attempts!)

It DOES need some organizing and people working together. TS is a great help for that. Another great help would be people actually reading, comprehending AND following mapchat, but I guess that’s too much for any pug map.

Would be such a relief to be able to open a new map, save it with a password, get everyone from your guild / community over and if it’s not full open it up for randoms after that. Farmers could farm and people really interested in doing achievements or successfully doing an event or a meta could organize in their communities.

It’s a shame having to leave some people behind that can’t join the map because of some people brainlessly grinding their stuff for their own sake instead.

Oh and as for Shatty regaining life: It doesn’t matter how often or how much life he regains at all – as long as every single bar is broken within 6 seconds to prevent him taking off (even if the bar is broken he’ll do that if it’s not done within 6 seconds!) you’ll still get the smash the dragon achievement in the end. Or at least a few no fly zone’s.

The only thing about DPSing him down to 50 percent and not letting him heal at all / too much is that it would only need 2 broken bars for bash the dragon instead of 3 or 4 which makes it easier to accomplish.

More and more the release stuff like this that, while aesthetically beautiful, has parts that are locked to one color! STOP IT.
Let the players choose the colors for the entire item. the Phoenix glider is great. Very pretty, but that blue section completely clashes with every single one of the characters I have that I’d think to use it for.

Eiter that or stop with the blue, blue, blue, blue, blue and blue EVERYWHERE.
We already have a shiny blue glider.

How about a nice green? Real green, no mint? How about purple, pink, golden, red?
I’d have loved to be able to change the color on that blue one previousely available in one of the packs. It is possible to change the color of the glowing stuff on Sylvari armor, so it should be possible here as well.

We managed to smash Shatty thrice witin the last two days. (twice yesterday) It’s definitely possible, but it REALLY needs coordination and a bit of luck, too.
I don’t think it’ll ever be accomplished on a pug map though, not unless Anet is making it easier.

I don’t think that in a month or two anyone is even aiming for the achievements anymore, as it is possible to kill the Shatterer without having to fly at all. (or better, without even harming his bar at all) Either it should be made easier, or it should be a criteria for being able to kill him at all to break his bar at least ONCE during a fight.
Otherwise this’ll become quite frustrating to new players.

I don’t really see the point in implementing such a hard “one time achievement” at all if it is not necessarily needed to succeed at all.

Would be fun to see Shatty turn the whole event area into crystals so they can’t get away and instantly kill them with purple breath of doom before taking off and leaving at 10% life if his bar hadn’t been broken at least once during the fight

I want them back too. I’ve been pretty sad when I noticed my flamethrower lacked the tank on the back. (where’s the ammo coming from, eh? Are we burning air now?)
I don’t really care for the other backpieces, as they didn’t look that good, though, but I want the old flamethrower thingy back, rather than the new raid drop… It doesn’t really fit if you play an engineer from the very beginning on. :C

I’d be perfectly fine if it was so, that, if you use the default engineer backpack, it changes with whatever kit you use, while using any other backpack doesn’t change at all. This would also add a lot more use to it. In the beginning it was the first backpack you could get. But with blank backpacks available for 8 copper each at the armor trader there’s nothing special about it anymore, plus it doesn’t even look cool. That’d chance it it would adapt to the kits used (just like it had been before!) and those who doesn’t like that can use whatever backpack they like.

As for the orphans… Hell, there can’t be as much orphans as people farming gifts. xD They’re already drowning in wintersday gifts, the orphanage will be stuffed until the ceiling, having our poor orphans live in the streets again because they lack the space to live!

I’m still using an exotic amulet instead of the ascended one to be able to use the bees on my main, or use the orange Halloween thingy at all. Plus, I rather use the exotic wintersday waterbreather than the ascended one for the nice underwater effect.
I’m not using nightfury or winter’s presence on any other characters than my Sylvari wearing leafy armor (especially cultural armor, light, T2 – which actually doesn’t HAVE its own shoulders, as they’re applied to the upper body piece ) because even the really cool Mistward armor looks strange without its shoulders.
I’d use them a lot more if I had a special slot for them. (Would be nice to be able to exchange ‘older’ items and trinkets for slot items. either with real exchange or while receiving the new item and keeping the old one, I don’t care, ofc it should be an accountwide unlock then.)

I don’t think it is necessary to wear up to 3 effects at once. With Anet trying to reduce graphical effects on skills (Grrr…) they should be happy about less visual noise created by that.

I’ve been thinking about the agonyinfusion idea too, but I gave it up pretty soon. It restricts effects to a certain armor grade as much as the trinkets do, which isn’t the best solution I think. In a game that’s all about skins and looking fancy I want my alts to look cool too, but I wouldn’t put any of my numerous characters into asc gear, even if I could. There’s just no need to do that, other than for my ‘mains’. Plus coding some sort of conversion would take a lot more effort than to simply add a new slot with all new items for it. or, to make it even more simple:

In your hero panel you have a dropdown menu for titles.
Why not add every earned effect to a collection, just like every earned title, that you can chose of per dropdown menu in your hero panel and easily switch between them. Like: “no effect”, “Winter’s presence”, “Preserved Queen Bee”, “Night Fury” and so on?
That wouldn’t even involve the coding of new items or slots, just a toggle between your earned effects.

Yeah, I’ve brought the mere idea of a 5-slot accountwide bag up once too.
I don’t think there’s any need for up to 5 5-10 slot bags. We do have an account bank. If you want to carry your bank around, you should rather get the unlimited bank access, which would lose its sense with that.

But having 5 accountwide slots for for example: unlimited bank access, royal terrace pass, mystic pocket forge, copper powered salvage tool and a tonic or toy of your choice (or the unlimited hairstyle thingy <3) wouldn’t really harm plus it’d make life a lot easier and even more fun. (Though you can exchange the named items for something else you’d rather like, but as for my collection it’d be what I’d like to use accountwide as it says on the description. But having to store it in the bank whenever I log out isn’t really convenient.)

If you stay to kill a single champ you’ll end up with bronze, if you run around and hit whatever you can hit you’ll more likely hit gold.
Plus, it seems to matter what stats you use – plus weapon. It’s better to have a ranged weapon to run less and hit more, and then, it does make a difference if you’re on power based stats or rather on condition or something else. If something dies too soon, conditions doesn’t get the chance to deal ‘the real damage’ for example. For power (plus precision) based stats you deal more damage, which is no secret.

Haven’t had a problem on DS at all, I always hit gold, but I’ve never been there with anyone else than my soldier Necro or valkyrie Ranger.
As for Tequatl’s battery phase, going there in carrion stats results in bronze, hardly silver, going there in soldier’s, zerk or valkyrie results in guaranteed gold.

So I don’t think it’s random at all, it may just scale the needed damage for each rank with duration and participation in the certain event.

I’m not colorblind myself, but other than that my eyes are really bad. I have my problems with these thin red AoE circles too, for example. I’ve been really thankful when Anet changed much of them to filled, orange circles. It made my life so much easier.

I’ve always been wondering how it must have been for colorblind people back in living story one, with the 3 knights and the following instance when the mapevent was successful. I’ve heard a few complaining. Given that a lot of people are actually sort of color blind, without even knowing themselves I can’t see why there shouldn’T be some kind of option like that.

I always thought it might help to use colors like yellow, cyan and magenta instead of RGB, but then I realized that there are issues with blue and yellow too, though red/green seems to be more common in different grades.

And while we’re at it, a question to those that actually are colorblind: Does it help at all, if you put everything to black/white? I’ve never tried it myself, as I rather have problems with contrasts than with colors, and that is fixed a lot easier using SweetFX oder GemFX. ^^"

Usually I’m not into stuff like that, but for the adventure part I totally agree. Can’t do most of them at all, so I lack mastery points, what really kills my motivation. :C

How about applying the same anti-spam protection to whispers, that the mapchat and say uses, too? Like, if you post the same stuff thrice you’ll get chatbanned for a while. That’d make their life a little harder.

As for privacy settings… I don’t even know a game that had it. I’d like an auto-answer to anyone whispering me while I don’t want to be whispered to, like. Sorry I’m afk, try again later/tomorrow

Speaking of privacy… What’s the point in disabling guildchat and whisper if I appear offline, if everyone on my friendlist can still see me changing characters and regions if they decide to stalk me? (Dunno if that applies to the watchlist too.) Plus, they can see if I’m really offline or not if they just mouseover my name and write letters while whisper doesn’t work. :P

It doesn’t usually come into play but if someone is right handed they’ll have a dexterity advantage over a lefty. Righties are more common (90% of people are righties) so mice tend to assume that. With that said turning the mouse for some subtle camera movement wasn’t a problem for me, so it certainly shouldn’t be a problem for most people. Camera settings (turn camera speed to max and others) are also critical.

I’m a lefty too, but I wouldn’t say that it makes any difference in movement or while operating the camera. After more than 16 years of using a mouse you either get used to it, or you could still buy a lefty mouse. I’ve even seen lefty mice for gamers. (Using a standard one though)

I’m left-handed too, using a right-handed mouse and I’ve completed the jumping puzzle about 40 times this year, and at least once every previous year.

The only change I had to make was rebinding jump to \ because it’s more comfortable to reach that +WASD using my right hand. But I’d done that back when the game came out, not specifically for this puzzle.

(I also use the action camera so I don’t have to hold down the mouse button, but that’s more to avoid RSI than anything specifically related to being left-handed.)

You use a right handed mouse with your left hand? Man that’s tough. That’d kill me. xD Though I’m a lefty I’m using a standard mouse with my right hand, and hit space with my left thumb. Not, that it would help anyway. I can do standard JPs, but I’ve never been able to do the Clocktower or the Winterwonderland. The limited time kills me. Just like the JP in Caledon… ^^ I really hate platforms disappearing and moving stuff. My eyes are way too bad. I need to much time to figure out the way… :C

As for the bell choir… Best way to do it is to turn off the sound completely. People playing false or out of line use to distract me easily. I don’t know if it helps to play the piano at all, but I don’t think that the bells require that much left and right hand coordination. You just have to press the button once the ‘note’ hits the blue circle in the middle. You just need to watch carefully, that’s all. And then, doing it a few times you’ll know the songs already. Guitar hero is way more difficult, and it only has 4 buttons to start with.

a) unable to complete JP due to physical disabilities
b) unable to complete JP because their hand coordination is just not on par

Calling it laziness is undeserved and pathetic, their own capabilities or willingness doesn’t impact your own.

Letter c applies to me and I was able to get the achieve. I’m left handed and still managed to get it even though my left hand was only resting on home row thumbing the space bar for jumps while my right hand was holding down mouse buttons and making fine wrist movements for turning.

With that said there are valid reasons why people can’t finish. Like you said physical disabilities, but also hardware. What if someone’s running an AMD rig and therefore can’t get the FPS needed to accurately gauge jumps? The difference between 20 and 30 is big, 30 and 60 not so much but it’s that extra fine detail you take in from all those frames that really help with snap judgments (such as when to press spacebar).

I added C for fact, I hate JP and I actually enjoyed this one (mostly because failing didn’t mean ruining 2 hours of work and dying in a dark pit full of monsters)

As for the OP – Your post speaks of greed and intolerance towards those who can’t do the JP. (No matter why). Not to forget that there are many ways to get your hands on presents. The JP is only the fastest way for the ’Pro’s’.
And then… If you don’t have any other issues at this time of year, I feel sorrow for you, nothing more. People defining themselves through their ‘achievements’ in a game are very, very sad beings.

As the title says, it still has the frost effects of winter’s presence on it, which looks really ugly.

The thing with the shoulders is, they count as “armor”. Thus, you can easily turn them off in huge fights by using standard character models on other players. This is not the case for useless legendary effects in melee battle, because with the introduction of th wardrobe almost everyone carries Eternity or one of the other 2 legendary GS. Once in melee range, you only see their effects and you have NOTHING you can do about it – that won’t change if they cut down every skill effect to an almost unnoticeable minimum.

Imho they should get rid of all these annoying effects first, before they even dare touching the skills. x.x Especially if it just makes something unplayable. (Which the Ele now is – at least for me.) Some modes of the game are hard enough if you have bad eyes, but that really kills everything.

The fireball isn’t that bad, but auras and wells ought to be easily readable in combat.

Maybe for you. A lot of people other than just me feel that they ARE a problem.
As for the auras – I miss the bubbles around me, but personally I can live with the circle around my feet – Though I perfectly understand that it makes it impossible to read them in PvP or WvW.

I mean it is clearly a Wintersday achievement and they’re usually taken away after Wintersday ends. After all it’s THE achievement that gives us the item needed to complete the collection.
Or will it be converted from seasonal to standard? I just don’t get it.

As for the gifts and your anxiety that there won’T be enough for everyone during the year: A lot of people have that tree and sell their gifts every day. Each year there had been a huge supply on gifts on the market, although you could only gain them through the tree, as well as that, there will be a constant supply of drinks.
And they’ll drop in price too. So no need to fear. x)

I’ve always been able to buy 10k’s of gifts during the year to do the poker for the exotic waterbreather – which now seems to drop more often than before.

Sounds like your client could use a full repair. Mine works just fine.

You should change the title to something like: Star Wars spoiler in LFG – or something and hide your picture in a spoiler – unless you’re not a troll.

Then, if you don’t want to be spoiled in any way – just lock yourself away, keep TV and Radio off, plus the Computer and cancel any social contacts until you’re able to go to the movies. Oh and please, don’t forget you use headphones and listen to loud music should you have to go by bus or walk, someone could talk about it at the bus stop, or on the way to the cinema, not to mention IN the cinema or in front of it. So don’t forget to leave your earphones in until the movie really starts. Just my tips for not getting spoiled. :P

Oh and for next time, if you’re so anxious about the whole spoiler thing, save up your money in advance and get a ticket for the premiere.

As for the rest… well yeah… If it is intended, they should at least introduce a “Trade” panel within the LFG, so that you don’t have to go through all of this if you’re looking for living world content.
Other than that, I have made some good money out of the people that desperately wanted to buy celestial stuff with all the golden quartz I collected over the years while never actually using them so… I’m not complaining at all. :P

As someone said before, just document everything and every transfer you do, collect them, and IF something should happen you can send everything to the support, linking to this thread too.

I don’t think you’ll get banned for this, most likely you’ll hit the 500G limit before, unless you’re not sending items, but you’ll never know if the anti-RMT system won’t kick in, thinking that you are doing illegal stuff.

You could even try to send an email to the support in advance, you could always refer to that later IF something should happen.

As for the drinking stuff, I already got it done. If you do some little math and keep an eye on the TP, you can easily earn 5G per stack of drinks just from buying and reselling without even moving your feet to any of the the activities, you just have to be right on time, that’s all. Buy them as long as the price is low, resell them once they’re at least 2s worth more. You can do the Giftbox poker too, afaik mf counts on these boxes, so there’s a chance of getting a rare snowman, currently worth about 30G, and some water breathers for free.

There are the usual ways too, like farming and grinding. I’m not saying 10k of drinks is okay, but I’m saying there are several ways to make money even if you have to buy them in the end. Plus, I’m quite positive the price will drop after a week or two, just to start raising before the end of Wintersday again, for the late people.
So even if you have to spend a lot of money, chances are high to be paid back in the end.

Oh did I even mention that I don’t even like the title at all? Don’t know how it’s called in English, but “Drinker of high percented” as the word-to-word-translation of the German one would be (Trinker von Hochprozentigem) sound pretty lame. Plus, I wouldn’t be proud of a title like that IRL, why should I be ingame? The Candycane one is muuuuuch better.

I like the new hairstyles for male Sylvari, if only the second one had a decent glow attached to it. There is barely any, making it look strange at night. I’d love to use it, but not without any glow on it. :C

I haven’t played my Ele much – until today, just to find out that I couldn’t see where my fireballs are going anymore. Seriously, my eyes are bad enough as they are, but at least I could see where my skills were going, even with a lot of people spamming their effects around me. Now I can’t even see to wich of the targets my skills are going.
Playing solo doesn’t make it better. You don’t really see what you’re doing until impact. That’s confusing and I’m tinking about stopping to play Ele at all.

It’s okay to ‘nerf’ the BIG skills, but please, auto attacks?

Give us at least some sort of toggle for that. What about the Effekt LOD option? Couldn’t you have tied your nerfs to that option, so that people who do not use it do not suffer of it?

No you can’t. This would make perfect sense and is definitely the solution. BUT that is exactly what is going on and look at all the Issues. Winter Presence IS a reward for people that go the “extra distance”. There’s plenty of other things to do or get with Winters day. This isn’t the only thing. It is definitely one of the coolest things but not the only thing. And since it is one of the coolest things it is harder to get and therefore players that go the extra distance get it.

This sounds like a reasonable response, in reality it’s just not true. Paying to get something is not “going the extra mile” and anyone who pays can get the item, most other people will not be able to. People shouldn’t be punished for not being able to play thegame 24 hours a day and they shouldn’t be punished for not paying, especially since this game is B2P. If anet want to put the shoulders behind a paywall, then they could and should do that.

Please don’t pretend that the imbimber achievement requires any effort. It doesn’t. It just requires money and/or no job because parent’s credit card. Everyone else is excluded.

Of course that’s how a lot of things are in this game. It’s Anets model. Just like legendary weapons. So you want this behind something like a raid then? People are upset about doing the JP three times. Putting it behind a raid would be worse. I never said it takes skill. It takes lots of grind or money. And some JP skill. In this case and like at Halloween, people who go the extra distance are just grinding a lot or spending real life money.

And this isn’t a punishment. It’s just a flashy item. Unless of course you are a snowman.

Well… it’s wintersday, isn’kitten (IT becomes kitten? Nice to know xD)
The Halloween thingy can be done anytime you want as long as you got your bat wings which wasn’t a problem. Winter’s Presence can only be done during wintersday – the most expensive and probably last achievement for that is bound to that time, because in January, it’ll be gone.

Now – It’s Christmas time outside the virtual world – People spend lots of time with their families and friends, shop gifts and all that stuff, make preparations for their xmas parties and what so ever. The lonely ones have the time. Should they be rewarded for not having any social contacts? The rich ones have the money – yeah, should they be rewarded for having money, while others can’t effort it?

CHRISTMAS or WINTERSDAY is about GIVING to those who are not so privileged, it’s about love for your family and friends, it’s about being together and having FUN.
The whole achievement thing destroys the SPIRIT of Xmas or Wintersday.

They should have made it possible for anyone to get, at least it’s a holiday item, really. (I know Halloween is a holiday too – at least in the US and GB, but as I said you can complete that item anytime)

For the spirit of Wintersday they should have considered offering it to every player in the game.

I mean… can anyone remember the first year of Wintersday? We were actually given a GIFT that was really worth it back them. Everyone was happy. That followed the spirit of Wintersday. This year (it’s my 4th Wintersday) it just doesn’t feel right.

What happened to the game anyway? Skins were something you could get ingame with little effort – it’s only eyecandy anyway, but nowadays? Either you have to spend insane amounts of money on the Gemstore or you’re forced into ridiculous achievements you wouldn’t have done otherwise. And some of them cost you even more money. Does anyone really like that? I don’t.

Is it intended, that the second new hairstyle for male Sylvari doesn’t seem to glow at all?
I mean it does, at the sides, barely noticeable, other than that it seems way to dark and ‘dead’ at night. I’d really like to use that hairstyle as it looks good, but I won’t use it unless it has a decent glow on it.

Well… personally I don’t like the fact that it is alcohol and the we even get a title for it. I mean… Really, being honored for DRINKING? Nah… xD
I know drinkers IRL and I’d rather slap them right into the face than to honor that, but after all it’s just a game, right? XD

The amusing part of it is, that Anet tries to create goldsinks over and over again, and then just comes up with something, that makes some people rich and even richer and others poor and even poorer, just to come about with new goldsinks after that? Where’s the logical point here? >.<

Off course it’s doable if you have a lot of gold, genius… Or if you have a lot of time or are an addict anyway.
Remember, some people can’t even do the JP once. rolls eyes
I got my winter’s presence yesterday – because I found someone to do the JP for me – AND had enough of gold. I don’t expect the majority of players being that lucky.
And threads like yours are just another slap in the face in their eyes. I can perfectly understand everyone who’s upset about it.

Just when it hit me and I thought: Yeah NOW I need an eyepatch! I realized that it was gone for only a few days. :C

Well… What should I say? I am disabled. For most of the stuff ingame it doesn’t really make a difference. But I can’t do the wintersday JP for example, just like most of the others. I can’t do the majority of the oh so fun adventure minigames in HoT – not even for bronze – and they’re a requirement for mastery points AND collections. (So no Bo for me, thanks!)

And thats just some of the things. That’s frustrating enough. Having people telling me it is so easy and well I don’t have to play and stuff doesn’t make it better.

At least for the Wintersday JP I found a nice person doing that for me, just like I got to know some nice people that helped me with other things. (Couldn’T find help for the adventure problem though, as they’re just open after doing x, y or z on the maps)

If I wouldn’t have help, I’d have given up on the game already. I understand that disabled people or those with other problems in their RL are a minority in the comunity and that Anet can’t always listen to them. Still, it feels bad to be pushed aside like that, especially for some holiday stuff or something that is required to go on.

I’ll never have my masteries done in HoT – so I basically gave up on playing it that much. It’s sad but that’s how it is. There’s no point in doing stuff you can’t, just to become more and more frustrated.

Oh and… for people stating that some things should just go to “the elite” of “us”… Really? Do you have so little self esteem that you need to define yourself over a game? I think that’s the most sad opinion of all.

I really don’t care if everyone has something or not – it’ll disappear after a few weeks anyway, because new stuff is coming. Everyone deserves it – After all it’s just a game! Some people seem to forget about that while losing themselves in the virtual world.

And just to make it clear: I already got Winter’s presence! So I’m not crying at all, and I got it thanks to the help of the comunity.

Thanks to Anet you can earn gold like crazy at the moment… so there’s no problem in getting these weapons if you’re not into Winter’s Presence, BUT…

I would like to have at least 4 weeks in between releasing new weapon sets.
Even if there are some I am definitely not getting because they’re ugly. :P

Happened to me 3 times now, and it is starting to get annoying.

Yeah, the cold aura stayed and it looks awful. Blue is the last color I want to see on my char. SO please fix it! >.<

I’d rather like it if people that hit the same note more than 3 times in a row during the songs get kicked asap…
These kids hitting on the highest note during every song over and over again (what hurts in my ears!) and then even start flaming because you beg them to stop that are way worse than entering free play.

And I’ve had them several times today which really ruined my fun in the bells. Seems to be really bad this year.

I’m not complaining about 10k drinks… I’m not complaining that you’ll HAVE to buy at least half of them (if not more) on the TP… I’m not even complaining that people go insane about the price. (It’s their own fault if they’re dumb enough to place the bid higher and higher instead of going with the others and waiting until it’s their turn to receive their stuff…)

BUT:..

A lot of people mentioned that you can do that achievement even AFTER wintersday.

Here’s a little something: YOU CAN NOT!

If you had read the collection’s description on the item you get for the drinking part, it says: only available during wintersday!

That leaves us no more time than until ~5th of January or so.
THAT I’m complaining about. Either the achievement should be cut down to 5000 drinks, or the time pressure should be removed!
