I also started to get this for two days ago, was after a patch. At random loc my game and sound stutters for several seconds, which also affects the sound from utube chrome

I want to enhance my future legendary greatsword by using my eternity in the process, or make it a crafting ingredient to faster get the new greatsword legendary.

You are not supposed to max level masteries ASAP, if u force urself it can be a chore, it all comes down to ur mindset and expectations. I applaud anet for making it possible to reach max masteries at ur own phase, hence why i spent 6 hrs in CoF to max tyra. while HoT it took a week with intense play, also with all exp gain effects.

I do hope some of the masteries carry over to future zones, as it does widen the gap between new and vet

This event will see more successful runs on average when the population learns what it needs to do and how to contribute. The same thing happened with Tarir. In the beginning there were very little people which knew how to properly contribute, a lot of them were wasting armors etc. But in the last couple of days it is almost impossible to fail the event if there is enough people on the map and I’ve seen more and more people which know what to do.

So, just give it time.

And yet organized 3 com pug Tripple trouble runs are wiping left and right bcuz randoms/majority dont know the mechanic and arnt listening. Did 2 TT pugs as late as yday where above happened again

What made me upset about the shiro herald rev is that its a good bruiser for 1v1 power builds, but u have little o shiii utilities making u an easy target to take down in group spvp fights. Hammer is also quite useless to dish out dmg with when focused, and being double melee swordshield staff also locks u out vs ranged. I guess i wanted it to be more of an advaned warr class, but it doesnt provide much options in how u wanna build it (and the 3 other legends really isnt up to par vs brain).

It is however a great pve class though

There is simply no way u can tell what boons they have based on these strange icons, unless u have eagle eyes and can see every little tidbit of detail during up to 5v5. In reality they provide nothing but excessive fluff

So basically u cant adapt to the changes since u only play druid, and therefore pvp is not fun FOR U atm. Ok cool.

If u check on post histories on those who qq u can see that theyre generally not really new players. Qqers have existed since the dawn of gw2, uve seen them in small doses in the past due to continously small changes over time, while now with the expansion theres much more new content and changes, this affect feelings and interest where ppl r now being more vocal.

Don’t know why… I’m destroying people in pvp & wvw. Sitting at 2200 power, 2400 armor, 23k health, 100% crit, 202% crit damage self buffed.

I mean… the class is frankly OP as hell…. running around self buffed with those stats.. I can then swap to shiro and kill most people I find in pvp in about 4-5 seconds… some in less time. Bunker builds with a lot of block are the only thing that gives me any trouble.. and even then.. it’s just a matter of taking a little longer to kill them.

The only class I’ve seen more ridiculous are trap dragon hunters basically 1 shotting people with traps.

Im sorry but have u considered that those u fight are garbage and not representative? If anyone dies to u in 5 seconds they clearly dont know how to play, even more so when ur stats show ur not full zerk/offensive. Also, the class is not ‘OP as hell’, u would know that had u fought competent players.

Same, from crashing every hr or during large events, i can now play at max gfx in meta.events with no crashes and smoother performance overall

At least theres a big difference in a duel with a reaper starting with 0 and one with 30-50%, thats all ill say.

If IGN struggles with mobs it says much about their abilities, but y they always scratch the surface as they cant invest enough time

OP may i suggest wiping those tears off with a towel as it makes playing difficult, especially if u want to learn mechanics so that u can understand these creatures and adapt. And put some CC on top.

It’s interesting that rev gets a skill on a 12sec CD that is that powerful that warrior gets an elite (headbutt) that is impossible to land and stuns you if you do. Not to mention my skill is and elite that I give up rampage for and your broken assult is a weapon skill! That’s insane…

What is insane is ur logic, hence why ur probl a huge Norn. Comparing two vast different skills, one a weaponskill n the other an elite, different mechanic n purpose. Lets just throw out random arguments just so that we have something to post about!

When GW2 came out, every server every night had wvw ques and every zone was packed. Events scaling created epic events in low level zones because of all the people.

Just before HoT GW2 still had a ton of people on the top servers queing up for wvw and there were plenty of people in low AND high level zones.

After HoT released there was a weekend of fun when a good amount of people showed up to try the new stuff, it wasn’t epic like GW2’s release but it was mildly amusing.

Then HoT killed GW2.

Now the whole game is basically a ghost town. Sure there are occasional events that get packed and once and a while ONE zone gets filled up. But the sad truth is that HoT pushed many players away from the game and made it actually worse than before it’s release.

ANET failed and only the totally clueless can’t see that.

Basically it goes like this, join the farm groups in lfg, farm cof till ur done in central tyria, takes about 6 7hrs at max. For HoT u farm spiders, takes a lil longer. Make sure u got all exp boosters. Check achis for what gives masteries. U can get 161 mastery lvl in two weeks of active play. I only do DS for crystalline ore, events in general n esp those with no exp on mobs r vastly inferior to the farm runs, which anet shouldve nerfed long ago. If u dont farm masteries will take double or tripple the time at best

Yeah i agree with u, esp the part bout finest treasures.. what bs PR lore rp talk. Im better off killing a few mobs to get the map currency bag, daily champ is a waste of time now that we have so many activities in our schedule

infused heal isnt so strong if dmg is stopped during its 3 sec which lit the rev whiteblue, UA has its counters, pluss said power shiro herald (which OP doesnt point out as he doesnt understand what hes fighting) is weak to uptime condis.

Yes remove the rng parts. The point with crafting is to avoid this.

In short Warrior needs better ways to stay on target, now that every class has evasion/mobility, denying Warrior damage.

Which map is the easiest to complete, timewise n eventwise? Im asking since many collections require ur class to complete one. AB or DS?

Also when u get full HoT maps completion, do u get a star like vanilla?

Perhaps u can explain ur build n playstyle first so that ppl can give u pointers, and r u dying vs all classes? Usually one excell at a class if u manage to understand its mechanics, what ur role is, and when to use what + speed.

Because no dev seem to have any true ownership to pvp, things r unclear n wrapped together.. its crazy that theres a prize pool of 400k when many basis feats r missing

Seriously? Guild Wars 2 is the only MMO I’ve ever played that doesn’t allow some level of stat customization.

I understand the concerns with total freedom of stats. But the amulet system is simply punishing. There numberous builds that are prevented from being viable simply because there isn’t a amulet with the correct stats for that build.

and which mmos is it that you’ve played that allowed for “some level of stat customization”, since we have that here as well through amulet, sigils, runes, weaponchoices, traitlines. What is it that these other mmos are offering? WoW? That game has less customization, put pvp gear on and you’re a go.

The fact its there doesn’t bother me, what does bother me, is that Glint’s…disk of eye-bleeding…is neon blue, glows and flashes, is HUGE and bugs out unless you are on perfectly flat ground.

I don’t mind profession graphics unless they detract from my character, which they do. I refuse to use Glint, because every time I toggle that metaphysical Ouija board on, my eye is instantly drawn to that disk, because it its the most saturate, shiny thing on the screen.

As an infographic, its not even that useful. The icons look nothing like the skills when they’re toggled on, and its impossible to see what ones are highlighted when you’re flashing and shadowstepping everywhere all the time.

Give my Revenant her aesthetic integrity back. I would actually pay real life money to have an option to remove this thing from my screen.

Yeah thats one thing I dont get either, whats up with the new icons that u can hardly differentiate, has no resemblance nor tactial use. It’s a light show that draws unneeded attention and the rev is in the middle.

I havent done PvP since HoT but i see dagger pistol thief on metabattle, so i guess it still has its place? Is the class still representeted in tournys? In any case it has its role with +1 and moving around, which is better than nothing. I assume this can be trickier in pugs hence all the complaints, but with a solid team u have an easier time (saying this since Anet most likely is against soloq, and wants to push teamq)

I just wanted to say thanks for the 64bit client, it has done wonders here. Ive played large events on max gfx and fps is smoother, no crashes thank god

I did that too but lets not be kittens and pretend this fight was easy, it required cunning and speed, and it is understandable that people are struggling as we all are different. The difficulty is spot on though, either ppl should adapt or bring friends.

Shield is a mixed bag, entirely situational. In pvp it can be both good n frustrating as others may use unblockable skills on u that takes u by surprise n creates a false security. If ur offensive the shield 4 is an energy n time waste where u would end up eating a hit during cast. Id say axe could be just as good if not better, could be same with sword off hand if its 5 had a different mechanic. This brings me to my next point as sword mainhan only is good for those 1v1 single target, whereas staff could be a slightly better option with its utility for group fights that occour (which ive yet to test tho)

If u want easy Thor time go shiro glint with hammer n use 1 n 2 off cd, with perm fury + fury gm trait in invocation on glint stance. If hit by enemy player use hammer 3 on random location while waiting for teammates

Ive completed the story on my human, and started doing it again for masteries on a sylvari. Are there any reasons to play sylvari other than being able to hear mordremoths voice and have some slight changes – does it give us access to AP? Ive done act 1 and there was 1 achi gained since I was sylvari, but does this continue or can I safely play a non sylvary (different class) from hereon and gain the remaining 3 masteries?

I support and applaud the effort in giving feedback as thats important, but the sad truth and reality is that one should never play 1 class. Sure u can have a main, but if ur either pve or pvp and ur into being competitive one should always have a few classes with playstyles u like, otherwise ull only hurt urself playing the waiting game.

when u get 100% compl in HoT, do u get a different star icon?

I got it on my first T4 map with 188% map participation, I joined a few HP Challenges at the end to up my % since I originally leached my way in!

This game is buy to play, not pay to win. A quality AAA mmorpg, truly unique in its genre, for a mere 50 bucks over 3 years. Now we had an expansion where we pay another 50 bucks, or 50 bucks in total if you’re a new player. There are no pay walls required through cash shop which also clearly means this game isnt p2w, it’s clear that many doesnt really understand this term.

People will find excuses for the tiniest thing because they’re selfentitled and deluded.

If anet wants esport then do what other esport games do, a soloq is a way for many to progress and make teammates

The qq is regarding all that is new, there is always someone lacking insight and feel the need to voice their opinions through loud words, and such threads are easier kept alive through its drama.

Im going to give my best shot as solo but if i get continously hit by a rockwall vs premades at one point ill consider giving up on spvp. What really is frustrating to a lot of players is that anet is not being transparent about their vision regarding soloq, they remain silent and waste our time.

I do have a feeling tho that if u grind ur kitten off ull eventually get legendary bp, just like how ppl previously managed to stay high on ladderboards despite equal losses.
