You won’t get kicked, but you won’t get any love either. Gs is easier than sword but offer no team support ability like any offhand does, nor does it have the sustained dps of sword/x. For most fights, you’ll use longbow/greatsword as a secondary weapon ( either longbow for additional burst or greatsword for safety) and try to stay in sword/x as much as possible. In fractals and a few encounters where max meleeing is required, using greatsword is the way to go.

The system is not that great when it comes to fractals/dungeons.. It has been getting worse and people do not want to play it. .If you do not have a certain build/character you will get kicked a many time before you can get on a team that will play it. It definitely will not please a new player that made the wrong choice of character that just finally hit 80 thinking they are going to do these types of events with that character.. The whole system tends to push more players away than entice them to play. Short of joining a Guild that they might not want to even be part of or to do the research on what character to play the game with. and new players should really not have to research what characters are deemed acceptable for certain content in game..

Don’t join lfgs asking for what you don’t have and you’re fine, really.

People want berserker build gone because they can’t deal with the fact their rp mace healing guardian isn’t the fastest build to complete a path. The alternative would be assassin, or zealot, something with precision and critical damage for reflect classes. Berserker build doesn’t even exist; berserker is a gear, not a build.

5/6/0/3/0 is your friend. Also, dagger auto attack gives you endurance. P/P is bad because it has no auto attack and unload damage isn’t even that high compared to a backstab rotation.

Warrior banners aren’t a personal dps gain ( not even including phalanx) . Mesmer meta build is purely support. Using pistol 5 on a thief is a dps loss. Ele’s persisting flames and weak spot aren’t the most damaging option. S/F lh isn’t as well. Ranger spotter and frost spirit aren’t max personal damage option. Engi vuln on crit isn’t either, and they bring a ton of party utility. The only class without much support from trait is.. necro. THe only left out class in the meta. THis meta is purely about support with offensive gear.

You may run those 14 paths of yours. I run all paths but se P2 and half of the stories. Your own dungeon tour =/= everyone’s way of playing. Stacking is just a side effect of being in melee range, wich isn’t an exploit. Stacking against a wall is more often than not a time loss.

And the list goes on.

*All stats are used outside of speedclears and optimized runs. The fact that berserker is the best doesn’t imply that all stats aren’t usable.

• Monsters aren’t only vulnerable to condi. THey have high armor rating, that’s all. A berserker build is still faster in killing time due to the ramp-up time and the condition cap.
• This show how much you need a teaching. Please tell me one skill lupi or alphard won’t use against a wall.
• The ferocity patch actually increased a lot the damage output in low level dungeons. It was a nerf only for level 80 dungeons.

But yeah, please tell us more about your daily dungeon tour using fgs.

Edit, flood control: Engi and mesmer use assassin armor in most, if not all of their meta builds.

It’s just that we’re labeled as toxics by the “PHIW” people, because they come and complain about the content they don’t know instead of learning it, when we gave them all the time/ ressources available to learn.

Yep, I went 4/6/2/1/1 for the protection and regen mainly. Prot helps a lot, and regen is always nice.

Use focus 5 for personal life drain. YOu can take one tick of aoe leech and heal, since the heal you get will put you at full life again, and it will be enough for the whole duration. Back when I was practising with scepter I used 4/6/2/1/1 for lupi solo, scepter/focus gs, and it’s quite easy. Basically, dodges+ focus 5 for life drain, elite, heal, aegis and prot for life leech. If you have no cooldowns, using f3 or save yourselves give you protection and allows for a bit of facetanking. Steal on crit food helps.

I’ve 14 80 characters, and I’m sometimes tired of leveling. I can solo the dungeon, or I can help a guy who solo’d it himself, make him happy, get xp, for a low price. People who despise dungeon sellings are mostly jealous casuals who can’t even 5 man it and want to leech parties without drawback. I wouldn’t be surprised if you were one of them. If you could do it yourself then there’s no reason to have a problem with selling, as it doesn’t affect you in any way. If you can’t, then you’re a bad player.

I buy paths to level alts. However, i’m more experienced than you and better than you in dungeons. Your logic is flawed.

Last time I checked it was, but I didn’t bother doing the maths since months. It’s probably a dps gain on mace and scepter ( since they are less reliant on aa), can’t say about sword.

Most people say that to catch attention. Sounds like it worked. Also, a lot of people stayed because of the community, so they lurk on the forums because they can keep in touch with their in game acquaintances. Then, there’s the obvious troll, wich I personally enjoy more than the white knights.

I got 2 friendly guards spawning at astralholme twice in the last week while it was capped by another side. Don’t know what’s causing that. My first guess is an upgrade bug.

I never get kicked from runs ( as I don’t pug). I often get kicked when giving paths but that’s another story. However, I kick a lot, and it’s mostly people not reading the lfg. I kicked a few toxics at endboss, mostly a guy who afk’d all the run and said " lol kick me i’ll post it on reddit and you’ll get hated" or something like that, months ago.
