I was speaking of 0:33, where you indeed interrupted your heal. The hp rise came from virtue of resolve. There’s also a lot of random dodges. In fact it looks like all your dodges are random. I assume this is for the heal? Still, you’re often caught up out of dodges and if those players weren’t upleveled, this lack of escape ability would kill you. There’s time where you had f2 up and used a shout instead, and that’s a tactical mistake. Keep your stability for when you need it. You have a lot of healing power. I assume you’re running a mix of zealot and ptv?
Watched first minute for now:
All I can say is, there’s a lot of mistakes. Not your average little roaming mistake like bad positioning or early retreat, but big ones. Interrupting your heal via dodging relly seems wrong. Speaking of that, you used it far too late. Shelter is there to avoid burst, not outheal it. Stability to stomp a thief is also useless; he won’t cc you anyway. There’s a lot of what I feel are huge mistakes in this video. Secondly, I can’t see the point of your setup. A support guard is nice to have in anything above 4 man, however you’re not actually supporting your partner, as you’re mostly out of range and using your shouts to secure stomps/ survive instead of supporting your wife. You also have quite an offensive weaponset, gs/ s/f with rage sigils, but your damage is too low, and your build is made for bulky setups. As your ranger partner is always ranged, I wonder if a direct damage spec ( even knowing how much I hate lb rangers) would be efficient.
Quite a lot of negative feedback, doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy watching the video; I’m just giving advices to make the next videos better. Sorry if it sounds rude.
My 10 minutes loadings disagree with your plan.
Oh. Well, I agree.
Thanks for the efficient recap.
tl;dr?
Good luck. Don’t forget to use potions ( 10% damage reduction) and food, possibly on crit to gain more health and recover more easily from mistakes. Also if you’re out of dodges in P1 and still practising, you can range a bit to regen while killing locusts, and still practise your grub dodging.
oh noes! Stealthnerf to bearbows!
18k if you are really good with sticking/ avoiding bombs/ using the right things at the right time. 22 if you’re not that confident in your abilities to survive.
It’s about playing with like minded people and dealing with not too much bullkitten, not saving 3 minutes. I’d wait for my guild if I wanted fast runs.
Thanks for the necro alert, I was about to post. :x
For the spider part, keep warhorn 4 as a cleanse and use your gs rush+ sword 2. Be careful with gs 3 as it breaks ooc. For the 2nd part, take balanced stance just in case, try to keep it for the 2nd part after the tunnel, hug right and use gs 3+ sword 2 to make distance between you and the sentinels. Then at the tunnel if the deadeye isn’t following take a break to reset your dodges/ cooldowns, and hug the right wall again, there should be only 2 deadeyes and 2 sentinels. You can use harpy feathers, but meh, that’s a waste.
No charr, no asura, possibly not sylvari? Then that’s either human or big human. I’d take norn, I love my cultural mix. Human get a useful elite for WwW so that’s something to consider.
It would make guardian mandatory in every comp like warrior is, provided the ramp up of the attacks speed isn’t too long. If it’s more than 10 seconds, boss would be dead anyway and the trait is the waste. Now, if it’s 3-4 seconds, that’s a huge dps gain.
i know when to shut up heh
Now is the time. Do it.
Are you EU?
Assassin/ berserker mix ( aim for 63% crit chance), 6/6/0/0/2 with all the modifiers available, grenades/ elixir gun/ flame thrower ( you can swap either eg or ft for a team utility)
Weird, for me moving doesn’t fix it.
If bragging on the forums about it or being rude with the people you scammed, yep.
I’m having this a lot of times, dodging fixes it. It’s annoying to blow a dodge and spend 2 3 seconds doing nothing though.
Multiples zerker warriors were out of the meta since more than a year and a half. Having one is still mandatory in most comps, but the best class to stack in a dungeon are eles.
I can help you but not before next week, as I’m in holidays currently.
On classes with reflects ( guard and mes) P3 is quite easy. Both are acceptable, I used to do p3 a lot more but for some reason i’m doing P2 lately. Everything post lupi in p2 is a pain, imo. I’d recommend duoing it, as it’s much faster and it’s fun.
Shadow arts thief? Why? :O
When you’re able to complete a dungeon in 3, 4 minutes, even a 15 min run, something that was “efficient” the first day of this game, starts to be too slow for most people. Like every other problem, it has something to do with the lack of new content.
It’s exactly like this. However most people are looking for efficient runs, and being uplevel means your dps is extremely low. The dungeon is easy even with uplevels; it’s just longer.
I’m pretty sure someone with less than 10 hours played isn’t experienced enough to judge if pvp is about rolling your face on the keyboard or not. Just sayin’
Eotm is pve, though.
Look the NPE changes. The new player experience made traits a real pain to unlock, low level areas got dumbed down, and class mechanics are available at higher levels, for instance you can’t use earth attunement before level 22 or so as an ele.
Leveling is now a pain.
Gwen= Guardians, Warriors, Eles, Necros; It’s the meta for large scale groups ( 15+).
Necros are top tier in zergs, but mainly unwanted in dungeons and roaming. They are fine in pvp.
In pve both guardian and warriors are in a good spot. Both suffer from stacking multiple though, so if you play with a regular group, don’t try to get 2 guards/ wars at the same time. For pvp, the meta is celestial and engis and eles are abundant, however bunker guards are still a thing and at average level you can have a lot of fun with med guard and hambow warriors. In WwW, both are the frontline of any zerg, so they are really on the plus side.
Never ever use dual axe for pve. 6/5/0/0/3 axe/ ( mace-sword-warhorn-shield) gs is the way to go.
The key word was reputation. Think a second about it.
And this ladies and gentlemen is why rangers have a bad reputation of not understanding defiance and using point blank shot for no reason.
You don’t rely on stealth much with d/p ( assuming a real pvp build). In combat, you mainly use auto attacks and heartseekers for damage, and shadowshot/ headshot for interrupts and sticking to the target. You stealth only to decap points without being seen or for a quick backstab on a squishy.
Wish y’all a toxic christmas.
P/d is cheesy and allows bad players to make mistakes and still win fights. D/P has more team usefulness via interrupts, quite safe stomps, blinds, and overall better burst allowing a quick negation of the other team dps.
You can also sstep stomp on any class with a teleport most of the time.
Wow that’s… wow.
I’d like to do arah story as well but I keep getting kicked when joining those berserker parties. I wish they were support in this game pve, I liked playing tank in WoW and now it’s just dps everywhere.
Go man mode, roam with a pve build. 4/6/2/0/2, berserker with scolar runes. yolo.
350 hp, or one retal tick.
It’s probably not sarcasm, dlonie is a phiw.
Sarcasmception.
Indeed, my brain got confused, it’s 5/6/0/0/3.
duck da police

The faster you understand pvp isn’t about 1v1 at all, the faster you can actually contribute to your team.
Corrupt boon.
A guy in tanky gear doesn’t have to dodge> It’s a dps gain over dodging> your suggestion is already implemented
Sword/warhorn gs with a blast finisher pet would be 3 leaps and 2 blasts. I’m sure you can find a third somewhere.
