It’s more than that – Plague doubles your base power, QUADRUPLES your base Toughness and TRIPLES your base Vitality. At 80, that’s 916 power, 2748 toughness, and 1832 vitality.

And leaves you completly open for conditions.

I wonder how you’ll ever mitigate that condition damage in plague form! Those blind spams and massive spike to health probably won’t do anything… not anything at all…

Dear jportell,

I understand that you’ve recently had some bad luck with some thieves in dungeons. Although you have every right too feel upset, you should still refrain from lumping an entire group of people into a category due to the actions of a few. That kind of action doesn’t help anyone, it only hurts the gaming experience for both parties. If a player is playing a class, and has played that class for a long time, I’d suggest just trusting in the player’s abilities… Sometimes they’ll surprise you.

10) Something I started, but never had time to get back to. This is a feature owned by me.

In that case please PLEASE !!!PLEASE!!! find the time to get back to it Imo, that’s the biggest and often-times the most harmful qol issue that can be fixed. As a thief it hurts the most due to double casting Infiltrator’s strike will get you killed (return and attack again), double casting shadowstep will get you killed, spamming hs locks you in place, etc.

Most of that wouldn’t be a problem but I have to fight with skill delay sometimes so I use the ability, nothing happens for a little bit, press it again, it casts twice.

One last thing, DODGE should overwrite any action you’re currently doing. Resing someone? I don’t care, I need to dodge now. Using a skill with a cast time? I don’t care, I need to dodge now.

You Sir, don’t know what you are talking about! A thief needs only 2 skills to kill a necro in 1 or 2 seconds. An ape can do this. I can avoid 100 nades by dodging but i can’t dodge a thief in stealth. Port-damage + 1 hit and thats it. Get it! Fix that op lame class and stop searching for excuses. And next time please play against a good thief with your ranger and you’ll see (or not) that you can’t even hit him because before you can aim at him he is back in stealth. Learn to balance a game and remove bugs and such overpowerness. BTW i play a thief by myself and i definitly know it’s op. So not so much a thief-hater but someone who uses his brain to recognize it’s just op.

I’m sorry but you have no idea what you’re talking about. If the thief is already stealth then they can’t mug to the target. Also it doesn’t matter how you’re built, no thief, anywhere, in the history of anything, can do 20k damage in 1s. Even the perfect cnd, mug, backstab combo will do 15k at best vs a level 80. And that’s assuming the necro doesn’t ds after the steal.

Thieves have more evades… Which this guy clearly did not trait for or he didn’t know how to make use of it.

Just want to let you know that the evade on d/d is junk. It’s 1/4s and the evade time doesn’t even start when you start the ability. If you want great evades without traiting for it, use sbow 3 and withdraw.

Only issue I run into with Thieves is that most of them end up being pretentious jerks.

meh, it happens with every single class. None more than others from what I’ve seen.

Meh, for me it’s Thieves mostly. A lot of them just come off as thinking they’re hot kitten just because they have a million Get Out Of Jail Free moves and have lolburst damage.

Adrenal Implant is only a 50% endurance increase. It doesn’t stack with vigor. Toolbelt skills usually have long cooldowns.
All i see is vigor with 10% per toolbelt skill and perma swiftness.

Weapon swap sigil is something any class can do, so i excluded that.

A thief’s dodge returns endurance, so they can nearly dodge up to three times in a row regardless of endurance regen. Add vigor on top of that, because it stacks unlike the engineer’s trait, using the vigor on steal and vigor on heal traits and you will be the most frequent dodger. Using withdraw instead of hide in shadows because of the 15 second cooldown also helps a ton.
Vigor, and dodge costs 2/3 of it’s normal cost, and a instant casting heal skill that also dodges and removes snares. Also has perma swiftness. Quite a good bit better.

Didn’t know it didn’t stack with vigor but the tooltip in the trait thing says 100%. Also There are multiple toolbelt skills with 20s cds and some are pretty good. Also when you think about how amazing the other trait choices are, acrobatics really isn’t that good of a trait line. Sure the extra dodges are GREAT and vigor on heal is also awesome… but I’d rather ini and condition removal on invis with fury might swift and possibly vigor on steal for everyone in my pt. That’s significantly better than 1 more dodge on me imo. If only mug wasn’t as good as it is I’d go for vigor on steal but as it stands my build doesn’t have any access to vigor

Lastly I was pretty sure we were talking about straight dodges through the endurance bar here. If you wanted to include withdraw then you should have also included roll for ini and weapon abilities like sbow 3. In that senario we do have the most dodges followed very closely behind by eles. But in a pure endurance bar stand point, we aren’t that great.

Pfft. A berserker thief is viable in high level fractions, just tell them to dodge more. And invest in acrobats.

They have some of the highest endurance regeneration of any class. Why are they getting hit!?

no offence sir but you obviously have no idea what other classes can do if you believe that. The class with the highest endurance regen is the engi. 10% end gain per tool-belt use with permanent 100% faster endurance regen + perma vigor up time. That’s right, 200% faster endurance regen 100% of the time. With an endurance on weapon swap sigil, you can use the swap effect on kit swaps so there should be no reason not to use it.

In general it is not a good idea to go to FOTM with your d/d zerker backstab build… The damage is impressive yes but you die to 1/2 seconds up against the shaman’s ice breath… This makes it really annoying for the rest of your party with you. Now I know thieves can have very good dungeon builds but few seem to have the wits about them to consider building for a dungeon… :/ Kind of a rant… But do any thieves have a good fractals dungeon build they care to share? That way at least next time I get a thief with me… I can give him some advice at least in the way of traits for surviving. thanks.

No problem I’ll share mine. I’m a d/d zerker backstab thief in fractals 48. The damage is really impressive and it’s really easy to stay alive with all the extra evades built in with extra endurance on auto attack. I highly suggest it.

Yet the fact remains that I’ve never been one shotted by surprise by a warrior. If you were to tally up the number of time this has happened to anyone playing GW2, what do you think the ratio of warrior/thief one shotting would be?

Many classes are able to dish out huge damage in one shot. But none of them have it quite so easy as a thief and no other class can do it that reliably.

I have no objections to losing to a thief in a fair fight. I’m a GC and if I make a mistake I die. I’ve never complained if I lose in a fair fight. But one shotting from stealth is not fair. No chance of counterplay, no chance to prepare.

And that is something no class should be able to do.

Pretty much all I’m hearing from you is that you, as a glass cannon, don’t like dying to burst glass cannons. It doesn’t matter that you didn’t even know the thief was there, that’s a technicality. You could have not noticed a lot of things that could kill you in a heartbeat. You getting mad just cause it was stealth really isn’t helping your cause.

If you are against being dropped in under 2 seconds and feel it’s a horrible way to die, then take some advice from billy mays here and grab some defence. If that’s still not good enough then roll a guard. That passive block completely negates any initial surprise burst a thief could do.

oh my p3? Every time I did the ritual solo I’d walk in the circle then out immediately then the wraits would run past me to contest it then back out. Didn’t matter what I used, Shadowsteps or anything, they’d always contest it. Time to see how you did it.

so you basically were able to keep 1 uncontested with warrior isms then rotated between the other 2… good to know. Still wish that part wasn’t fast forwarded but w/e

It’s 4 back within 3 seconds… idk what you’re talking about. Although with utilities it’d be very possible to 100-0% champions if someone was dumb enough to turn off revealed in pve. CnD to initiate then you have 3 backstabs until another CnD. You MIGHT run out of initiative doing that but not if you put down a smoke screen and hs through that bad boy 5+ times then just wait for your ini to get back up. Don’t feel like waiting? Drop refuge and have that give you 100% initiative as you’re still attacking. Attacked like an idiot? Roll for initiative. Still not dead? Smoke screen is up again.

Thank god there’s revealed in pve. If it wasn’t even the noobiest of thieves could solo lupi no problem.

I’m pretty sure he means just sitting there and hitting CnD just after stealth runs out… which means you’re losing 4 initiative every CnD every 4-5 seconds. Normal regen allows for 3 init/4 sec. With quick recovery and inf signet and maybe some dodges that allows you to kill any mob… slowly.

In that case the 3 backstabs wouldn’t work but heartseekering through smoke field for perma up-time would. Still would be a horrible idea to take it out.

It would be, but what I mention works in the current state.

not in pve, the monsters instantly retaliate the moment you leave stealth. You’d die before too many cnd rotations if that’s all you were doing.

which is why the 1 second revealed is a problem in PVE. I have been a loud voice about the pve case obv but I have never once said it was a problem in pvp. It isn’t a BIG problem in pvp, but it does still screw with the player’s internal counting, not with the entire feel of the rotation. Still sucks, just not as bad.

Another thing I forgot to mention is due to 4s revealed instead of 3, you can now only get 1 invis attack off from blinding powder instead of the previous 2 and only 2 invis attacks from smoke screen instead of a possible 3. Things like that are a problem. Simple fix would be to increase the duration of both but then that might imbalance the skill.

Lastly, I’m fine with it being 3s in wvw and 4 in pvp b/c in wvw you have 50 people that are able to jump on and insta the thief. In pvp, you have, at best, 8 (5 in tourney).

You do realize, you could probably kill a champion with the right build by wearing full zerk, stealing to them and just spam CnDCnDCnDCnDCnDCnDCnDCnD…
No need to time anything, just hammer the snot out of that ‘5’ key till he’s dead.

Sometimes, as devs, we play bad builds on purpose as we look at ways to improve them.

It’s important we play all classes, even less popular specs on less popular classes.

Also, he’s running that build because of yolo, obvs.

signet build isn’t subpar, it’s a leveling build. Giving 120% (or something like that) crit chance at level 30 is so good for lower levels that it needs to fall off somewhere. If it stayed that amazing at level 80 it would be broken op when you’re solo but it still brings nothing to a team.

If every warrior went signets, no one bring them in groups. There’s a reason fgj and omm are wanted in dungeons. Instead of giving 1 guy 50% more damage (not saying signets give 50% more damage at level 80, saying if it was the same at 80 as it was at 30 it would give that kind of damage), those shouts give 5 guys 15% more damage.

And what does 4s change instead of 3s? Other than making P/D damage even worse.

It made the whole rotation feel unwieldy. Before the CnD/invis rotation flowed perfectly with a full aa rotation or 3 pistol shots. Now it’s a full aa rotation… and a few more hits. Really takes you out of your element and since the 1st few hits (the ones that it forced you to recast) do almost do damage.

So the combo went from weak, medium, strong, medium, strong repeat. Essentially 3 good hits at the end of every rotation (3rd auto with poison, cnd, back stab)

to

weak medium strong, medium, strong, weak wait OR weak medium, medium, strong
(it’s do double strike again for crap damage and wait a half sec for cnd and get better positioning or do double strike again for crap damage then wild strike for medium but lose out on a 1/4s between every cnd cast)

Doesn’t sound like much but all those extra out of place steps really kills our dps (by 15-20% when everything is landing) and just very clumsy feeling. It also makes it so our poison upkeep time changes from 80% to about 40% if you’re going for max dps.

I just don’t like it when people lie to prove their point. It’s even better when you can’t think of a proper argument and resort to insulting me.

All I did was fact check some of the things you claimed and you get annoyed?

I did a response that wasn’t a numbers game or anything it was just a real life practice senario but then you had to go super factual to try and be superior. Sorry that you didn’t think that was a proper argument. When you’re rooted in place with a guy instantly blured frenzying you and a phantasmal gunsligner shooting you all at the same time, the numbers poping up can be overwhelming and the damage is huge. You can’t argue that so I don’t know why you’re trying to disprove me with deals damage over x-time. Fact it the stuff hurts and comes fast. I didn’t come here for an argument so please stop trying to make it into one.

This guy right here has no idea what he is talking about.

Pistol phantasm has a cast time
Blurred frenzy deals the damage over 2 seconds.
The immobilize from sword is iffy at best and can be easily dodged.

If you’re wanting to go on about cast times then cnd, backstab, bas venom, all have cast times that are every easy to see coming as well so why aren’t people complaining that those skills aren’t instant? Pistol phantasm has prep time, wouldn’t call that cast time. Cast it as you are chasing or sneaking or w/e you’re doing, sword blink, blured, all hits at same time. If opponent not dead, then you have up to 3 shatters to blow on your opponent.

Shatter mesmers won’t do as much damage as a thief unless they are fully glass cannon with illusionary persona – which requires them to be in melee range.

If he shatters from range you can dodge into the shatter to negate most of it as the clones run SO SLOWLY.

So what you’re saying is that a mesmer won’t do as much damage as a glass thief unless the mesmer is also glass? I fail to see the problem. You’re also saying that skills can be dodged or negated? Good to know, I hope that isn’t something that’s only usable vs mesmers :s

Wake me up when other classes can one shot GCs without warning and at range.

Well, even an Engi’s Static Discharge Rifle build can do that, if you really want to open debates.

Mesmer with s/p + shatter and illusionary leap.

This happens without warning? Really? I can’t take evasive measures? Thief’s can one shot GCs who don’t even know they’re there. No question of evasive measures.

the pistol shooting, the immobilize and blurred all happen at pretty much the same time. Not sure exactly the damage pistol can do but blured is the same damage as backstab but you’re invuln while using it, don’t need to position yourself awkwardly, and are visible.

Not to mention a shatter mesmer can do higher burst than a thief if they crit all and pull off steal cnd backstab. The illusions are melee but the mesmer doesn’t have to be

so if i have the rights to play the game as i want, i can now feel free to do the following stuff, according to all those skipper’s “i can play however i want”-logic?
- exploiting (hey, it’s in the game sometimes and until its fixed, i can (ab)use it, right? i mean i can play however i want…)
- cheating (i’ve paid for the game, so lemme cheat plox)
- griefing (my 50 bucks, my game so i do it because i can)

“you can’t tell me what to do so you have no rights to complain if i do one of the above stuff”

dungeon skipping would be exploiting flawed dungeon design. i guess it’s just easier for a-net to clean up the mess afterwards, because so many (MANY) players are doing speedruns right now. would complicate things to prohibit speedruns until those dungeon design flaws are fixed.
AC and CM are examples of a better, fixed design. (though, they’re still a bit flawed)
CoE is an example of a good dungeon design. (the reason, why it’s the least played dungeon, i guess…)

the rewards at the end are not supposed to be obtained within 5-7 minutes, you know…slashing those “trashmobs” is part of getting those rewards.
fully completing a GW2 dungeon is also not some sort of 6-hour odyssey like in many k-grinders. well, skipping is a major part in many traditional mmorpg’s, considered and intended by developers. [“/say: everybody to the left wall until next room, k”]

a game have rules. dungeons in GW2 have their rules.
flawed dungeon designs making it possible for players to bypass these rules.
conclusion: skippers are exploiting.

it’s quite a shame, that speedruns and skipping strategies are so openly postet and discussed at these forums…not very promising for the future.

Idk what you’re getting angry about at the start there but on the skipping=exploiting, well you’re 100% wrong on that one. If it was exploiting, then there wouldn’t be leash ranging in the game at all. Robert Houdra came on here and told the community (don’t remember the post name but it’s in here) that he could make it so mobs never despawn but he (or anybody else) is not going to do that because there’s nothing wrong with skipping. Instead they look into why people are skipping and try to make the decision to not skip desirable.

Tldr, if skipping = exploiting in other games that you played then okay. Thing is, this isn’t other games, this is GW2 where skipping is legit practice.

randomfightfan, nice job. I just have one critique: it would’ve been much faster if you used the subversion rifles on the golems. I solo that boss a lot in PUGs. Usually they would clear the mobs while I run ahead into the boss room.

Anyways, not sure if you know this, but if you use rifle skill 1 on golem and there are no patches in between it and the boss, they will move a set distance. So you gotta use it when 1) they’re close enough to the boss and 2) when you haven’t taken their aggro. So in effect, you’d be using skill 1 all day on one golem after another.

sorry mate but you’re wrong on that one. It’s a lot faster to not use the rifle and a lot less buggy. Also not using the rifle makes it so you can get hits in easier so you get loot from the boss. Lots of the time a player using the rifle won’t get loot. Last I used the rifle it was so buggy and would rarely work. Even when you’re shooting the golems they still often don’t walk all the way to the boss and sometimes don’t even move at all. When you manually bring them in you also get 3-4 bombs in at once instead of 1. The trick I used does go by faster on a guard or warrior or engi b/c they can use perma swift so some bombs don’t prematurely detonate behind you and can also block the boss’s slap so you get in closer, making sure all the bombs will land.

Yupp, sure feels balanced with some toughness on…

that’s a pathetic amount of toughness :s Seriously, that’s about how much I have on my zerker thief with 1 toughness item and traits… I don’t know what build those guys are using but it looks very weak. Then again I don’t know how spvp gear works so maybe that’s normal but it doesn’t look it.

They actually listen to their community.

You might not believe me but here are some things you just can’t argue against.

1. Look at the arah gates. They are never closed and the wp is not inside the gates. Thanks Anet.

2. Pve, pvp, wvw all need to be balanced. They are now splitting the 3 to help make all the classes even. Thanks Anet.

3. Dungeons. You want them to be harder? You got it. They are too easy? You got it. You want them revamped? You got it. You need something nerfed? You got it. Now before I go any further with this I’ll just say they only nerfed the things that people really had problems with. Simin and the OLD effigy come to mind. With res rushing removed, the dungeons are focused on skill and not patience. Thanks Anet.

4. Legendaries are too plain you say? No? Well that’s what people WERE saying a few months ago. Now we have giant flying rainbow unicorns and disco balls rolling around in WvW making the place classy and flashy. Loving it. Thanks Anet.

5. New and awesome content like the karka event and the super adventure box. Keeping the game fresh. Even when something bugged out and messed up the event anet came to the rescue with the karka chests in the mail sent to all those effected. Thanks Anet.

6. This game is pay for cosmetics not pay to win. Sure you may not want to have to buy gems with rl money AND you want the skin, well guess what, YOU DON’T HAVE TO! You’re actually able to get everything in this game with in-game currency. Thanks Anet.

7. There is no monthly subscription fee. Without that point I’d never have played this game. Thats Anet.

Now if you go ahead and look at something like league of legends, where the companies don’t give a crap about their players, you’ll realize just how good we have it.

1. Every champion in the game is locked from the player when they start the game. You are able to unlock champions as you go along but in the beginning you’re very limited to whatever they let you play for the first long while.

2. Every other week or so they release a new champion. Problem is, every new champion has been costing 6300, something that is practically unobtainable for the average player. Players were asking since the trend on 6300 on every champion to lower it so the average player could be able to own the character they want to play when they want to play it.
So far Riot has released 2 champions at 7800.

3. Almost all the time, their new champions are release a little op so that everyone would rush to grab it. After a few weeks, they’d balance the class but that’s only after they got their money off the general public.

4. The only possible way to get anything cosmetic in the game is with real life money. There is no in-game currency exchange rate for their goods.

5. The game is pay to win. If you want to get an advantage at the start of any game ala higher stats and such, you get these upgrades from their store (luckily with in game currency) BUT, you only get access to 1 page of these stat upgrades. That’s fine and dandy if you only play one character, but in a game with hundreds, you’ll need multiple pages. THAT you get with rl money.

Tldr, Just happy Anet is not anything like Riot games. Makes this game for fun and less of a chore to play. I don’t feel like I’m going to get left behind if I don’t play for a few days.

So you’d have no problem with CnD precasting being removed then, since it obviously isn’t intended to work that way?

There is nothing wrong with precasting cnd. It’s a melee ability coupled with a blink. Can do the exact same thing with mesmer blink and pretty sure same thing with sword. If anything, you should like it. It gives steal an animation to avoid.

Also why are you still in here? This is a THIEF forum. If you want to keep bringing up engis and talking about engis then go to the engi forum. Even a dev has replied to you telling you that 100 nades was a bug and it has been fixed. Your petitioning to have a bug brought back into the game isn’t a very noble cause.

Except the Backstab isn’t a true one shot, it’s a combo

And neither was 100nades. It was 2 skills and also all but required cc as a setup, and even when you do get cc’d there’s still time while you’re watching them walk into your character model to do something about it.

The fact of the matter is you COULD 1shot someone with 100 nades (the insta kill) without ANY setup. It was hard but completely doable. Backstab isn’t possible to 1 shot anyone in 1 skill. It’s a 4 part combo. Steal, cnd, invis, backstab. I put invis there because going invis is a necessary part of the chain. Without using a skill previously to go invis, there’s no backstab. Also, 90% of the time, you’ll need to land the steal>cnd to be able to drop the target with backstab.

tldr, 100 nades could 1shot without prep, thief can’t

gungnir is right about using that build to level up to 80 for open world pve but in dungeons and any time after you’ve reached lvl 80, it’s pretty bad. Pretty much junk really.

never noticed you could interupt his granting stability. I have however tried to scorpion wire him when he didn’t have stability and no one was even close to in range. Soon as the wire hits he’d turn and summon birds… that’s when you notice he got stability when the scorpion wire touched his pretty face. Probably happened to me a dozen+ times. It’s gotten to the point where I use wire as a long range single target agro when I’m afraid trick shot will bounce to something.

umm how do I explain this without talking gibberish… your arrow hit the wall at a point where the walkway was directly underneath. The ground where you were standing on from when you shot also has to be flat and even or else you can blink into an invisible ledge and waste a shot. Happens a lot when trying to blink over a rock. Despite shooting past the rock, your body doesn’t follow the arrow.

As long as you’re shooting to get from 1 flat surface to another flat surface and you have a clear view of where you need to go then the arrow will usually get you there. There also needs to be a possible traversable path to let you get to that point simply by walking though. You can’t use it to jump across chasms.

Honestly, in terms of single target damage thieves really do take home the gold. The down side to thiefs is that they dont have a whole lot of AoE damage potential besides shortbow. Imo, they should tone down that sinlge target damage (may promote support builds since you wont risk being one shotted by a thief) and maybe boosting what other things thiefs have. Such as swords.

I see why someone would want this but thief was designed for high single target dps so I don’t know why that should be taken away. Sword does need some love on the 3 abilities though… those start up and cast times…

The thing that really needs the most love though is pistol main hand. Good for bleeds, not good for anything else. With this being the only really good and reliable condition weapon (dagger is not a condition weapon), it really needs more than 1 easy to apply condition. The bleeds are constant but easily cleanse-able

iarrow is a projectile, it obeys the rules of all projectiles. Say you were trying to shoot at that target with an attack, if the attack were to say obstructed, then ia would be obstructed and stop short as well. It isn’t a targeted blink.

While looking at your pictures, first I have to say it won’t always work like that but, what happened is your arrow blinked you to the wall then it landed you to the closest platform directly below you.

Which is fine, but I’m absolutely not a fan of the whole ‘x class is harder than y class by design’ paradigm. All classes should require a similar amount of skill and input to do well as.

My guardian can kill 3+ mobs upwards of 2 levels from her without much attention. My thief can barely handle 3 at the same level and then it takes a bunch of kiting, and fairly decent luck.

oh and on my thief, numbers really don’t matter when it’s vs mobs. Thief generally will win every time unless it’s stupid events where the champion is a damage sponge with spammable ranged attacks. There any class will have troubles.

What you’re saying is that you want every class to be the same and there to be no variation in class. If one wasn’t harder to play and they were all able to achieve the same goals while doing the same thing then what would be the point of even having classes? Thief is an engaging class that requires at least some attention when you have aggro. I’m sorry that you played a guardian before, I really am. Twice I tried to level one. First time I got it to lvl 40 something before deleting it due to how insanely boring it was. The 2nd time I got it to 50 through sheer force of will, trying to get a reflecting wall bot for grawl fractal. Deleted that one too and made an engi. So much more fun but still not as fun as a thief.

And about the whole thief having troubles doing the content that is faceroll on guard or war… well that happens in low lvl pve. The guard and war still do it at high lvls open world pve but then again so does every other class. Despite what people think, thief is amazing in dungeon and it has already been established that thieves are great in wvw too. So the problem is that you’re trying to compare thief to guardian when those 2 classes are apples and oranges. If you really need comparisons, then thief is the condition guardian. Instead of boons on you, it’s conditions on them.

If you don’t like the class though then just don’t play it. If you want the game to pretty much be handed to you and have very little challenge, then continue with the heavy classes. Problem with that though is you’re probably going to get bored of this game very soon when you’re not allowing yourself to get engaged into the combat.

Now some players were able to wait for the #2 to go through the person (doing damage) then detonating it which did around 6-9k depending on your stats. However, I believe they fixed it to where you cant do that, not sure though.

assuming that it’s the same in pve and wvw, it still works. tested it on mobs yesterday. Passes through for decent damage, explodes for about triple that damage. Not sure but I thought if you did it in melee range it’d be pretty much insta cast that combo though… just a theory

Yeap i tested in spvp, it did work. But like you said you have to be up close in personal for it to be really effective. Still not too much though, usually hits (both attacks) 4-6k damage.

wierd how in your screens the damage was so disgustingly low but in matches was 4-6k :S. But that does ring about on par for a backstab in pvp. Max 60 something crit dmg really hurts our bust so I’d imagine with 110% crit dmg you could do 9k. Still not worth it if you’re just using it for the burst. Better off doing something else.

edit just saw the other post and that is wierd… saw so many situations where it was doing significantly higher in pve. Ability might act differently in pve but I really have no idea. It wasn’t a level 80 zone (just 50 something) so that also probably had some factoring as to why it had such a vastly different result.
