i realized that when i didn’t find anything i could put into the forge. i thought about almost trashing my karma exotics for the effort, but then saw the rewards, and happily decided against it.

as i guesstimated, that’s a lot of tokens for ONE black lion key. Gem conversion might be more worth it.

Stormbluff, Canach shows up as non-hostile (friendly) NPC. can’t attack him, and the room is full of players lighting up the house with aoe.

i was expecting to scour the beach for stuff – i did not think i had to purchase items from merchants to put into the forge. only used 45 silver to test, and i don’t really have any useless items on any of my characters that i want to get rid of.

i wish i could put lion chests in them.

they should have had the crab things come out of various places in LA, spreading out the action a bit more.

i bought some armor from the merchants, but i don’t feel like wasting gold buying up cheap armor sets, or destroying my saved sets. i had some karma armor, and it gave 6 tokens

i am just mad that i do not have any more moves to show her.

i got 3k xp for leeching the entire event, cause i was really lost

i muted the game entirely and stuck with my music player, instead.

i was unable to attack, bandage myself up, and res others in a timely fashion, because i could not see any other players, just the effects of fireballs, auras, and fields. that was a horrible boss encounter for me. might have been better if it took everyone in the area to a private instance, or something.

dungeons must bring out the worst in people sometimes, so i stopped playing them altogether.

probably easier to find some friends to run with.

i got up to 201,144 xp last night, pinging the second tier (i guess). i died shortly after, and now my counter is stuck at the current number. i tried for about an hour to get the numbers rolling again with kills and events last night, but it’s stuck, even after client restarts this morning.

First tier = 100k
Second Tier = 200k
Third Tier = 500k? < max tier?

thankfully i have the day off, but i remote in to my computer from work sometimes to checkout things. Connection is bad doing so, so most of the time i am on a delay from home screen to work screen.

nice way to continue my Ranger’s “legacy”. my first characters always get the best treatment

why can’t i just use a chest to crack open another chest? would save on keys if this worked…. could add a % chance to retain “cracking” chest (the one being used to crush the other ones)

or use a WvW Cow Finisher to open a chest?

Or use the Right Click > Destroy command to open chests, since the chest is being destroyed to access it’s random contents.

Worst: transform potions, the random ones

Best so far: Endless tonic, turns characters into furniture items, or stuff around the world. but mostly furniture.

i saw some at the local gamestop, but they only had the $15/1,200 gem cards available. it would be nice to see the higher tier cards, if any available at this gamestop.

in-game gem store is way better, anyways.

i probably would age my character every level, so when i reach lv80, my character would look pretty awesome, like an aging warrior would.

i would like to see the elite druid (the one with the twig/branch belt + leaf flair). this armor in higher quality graphics might be pretty sweet to see.

also, the Krytan set. the skull shoulder pad is cool, and a nice variant on some kind of pirate theme.

i have about 6,000 gems saved atm, in preparation for the Lost Shores events this weekend. i was thinking of purchasing more, and i recently got some extra RL money to buy more (maybe). will the amount cap at 9,999 gems if i get that many, or will the numbers shrink, counting up from there?

i just do not know if anyone has held onto 10,000 gems (or more) at one time, yet. if the counter stops at 9,999 gems, then that’s okay with me. i just don’t want to buy more than 9,999, and have the counter stop at 9,999. .

if i had won the lottery, i would buy gems for all my friends

also, remove the called target icon, if it was a called target on death.

i had a guild, but since everyone was quiet, i left and joined a more quiet guild. but this new guild at least invites me to do stuff.

i mostly solo the pve content right now, and wave to random strangers to see if they notice. i give 20 copper (if i have enough to give) for positive results. so wave back! have yet to see anyone else wave back to me in game.

when i was on Henge of Denravi, i tried to access it, and it said the areas were full. so i gave up trying right then and there. i swapped servers to Stormbluff, but never felt like trying to go in there, again.

i prefer the somewhat consistency of AI enemies to REAL ones. makes me feel better about myself, and gaming session more enjoyable. also glad i could give other players the change to enter by not filling up the queues. Your welcome.

got T3 for my female ele (matched dyes to look like the vendor, as well), already saved ~35 gold towards t3 norn for fem ranger of mine. hoping i get to look like Eir when it’s all done. now if only i knew what colors she uses for her armor, i could save up for the dyes, as well.

good thing i have not transmuted my T3 armor onto anything, yet. and i just got my exotics for my ele too!

Just hit level 80 2 nights ago. took 111 hours! might stick with Vigil Rares, i amnot sure if i should get other armor, yet.

i just play mostly on the weekends. 7am – 3am the next morning. sleep, and repeat until Monday. other nights i am on for maybe 3-4 hours.

maybe this was mentioned before, but also, about the underwater Risen – cheapest of the cheap. When I am downed underwater, I get a chance to swim to the surface. as I get to water level, I am still constantly constrained by Krait nets and purple shackles (chains?). once i surface, the fun doesn’t stop, because the Risen and Krait keep pulling me underwater, while my skills are disabled, because i am neither completely underwater or on land, so both skill sets are disabled when stranded. cannot give up and WP away for a fee, because i am “still in combat”.

1) Instance that bots can get moved to, forever allowing them to run their paths without annoying anyone
2) more armor choices/styles
3) more choices with swimwear and town clothes
4) more friends
5) monthly multiples! like, 2x karma week, or 1.5x gold day (similar to double faction/xp days)

if i get that message, i delete the auto-saved card info and fill all the boxes out again. otherwise, i will call my bank and re-initiate the transactions over the phone. also make sure the 3-digit number is correct found on the back of some cards…i mistyped it, it saved that number, and proceeded to fail other transactions due to the number being wrong.

if they are made of plants, they may not have tear ducts?

also, the Morale Meter when going to the shrine should be slowed down. losing 60% of the bar and not being at the halfway point, instead still being at the front of the outpost is dumb. that meter should be relabeled “Actual Player Morale” or Zerg strength.

you can always copy the game’s folder directory to a USB and hand it over. the DAT file is the main file that gets updated, and it saves on re-downloading all those gigabytes.

i have 6 of them canisters, but i just buy/prep a second or third set of armor, instead. can always swap armor out on respawn, and continue on.

still used to Guild Wars armor management – set for farming, set for missions, etc.

i wonder if at the current price, maybe make it legendary. then players (like myself) won’t complain so much about having legendaries be super-unattainable. because then we can just get legendary cultural armor, instead, and feel a little bit better about it.

Playing the game is not all about crashing in and trying to annihilate everything, sometimes you have to take a bit of a slow approach and view the area first rather than ploughing in. Those that decide to plough in, 9 times out of 10 will end up sucking dirt.

the vigil have the “crashing in and annihilating everything” mentality, which is probably why they always die before me. they should fix the NPCs to last longer in battle.

at claw island, i thought he was just going to close the door, lock it, then join me in my escape. when he passed through the door and it closed, a part of me died with him.

after completing the game, the other pacts should open up for story replay value.

it would have been more interesting if you can do the Mass Effect Paragon or Renegade options (well, i thought that’s why we chose the Charm/Ferocity aspects). Sending Trahearne to his death early and other NPCs would be interesting. your choices also reflecting in the final few missions leading to Zhaitan (much like the Omega Relay sequence in Mass Effect 1).

When i started playing Gw2 with my Ele, i thought Trahearne was going to end up like Rurik, and i would see him later on corrupted by Zhaitan (like undead Rurik).

With the story stuff laid out to be “personal”, it still would have been nice to have mission instances like in Guild Wars. For example, at Claw Island (?) with Mira, that could have been way cooler to have a party of maybe 10 players, because it’s a major event, and it would have felt more epic than static NPC battles in the courtyrard. Also, the Battle for Fort Trinity could have been an awesome 10-player party story event. stuff like that.

is it safe to play ranger? i have not been playing my fem-norn ranger because i am scared i may get picked out while leveling.

i am working on my guardian right now, but almost ready to start on my ranger.

I think the theme of orr is that it’s supposed to be difficult. You’re about to confront an elder dragon, of course he’s going to have his strongest minions in the foray.

but the elder dragon isn’t tough if you just spam 2 on your keyboard to beat them. i believe though that the hardest enemies are on that last story mission, because of the lack of useable space to move about. the lack of space amplifies the difficulty to hair-pulling levels.

Orr is annoying and difficult.

idk about getting somewhere safe option. i went into an outpost, redownloaded game, logged into game, then the outpost became contested, full of Risen. nice wake up call right after a loading screen, downed state to death.
