Fractal weapon boxes are already in the game for a year now. They drop from lvl51.

Had some issues with the right button of my $3 logitech when it was 1y-old. Gave it some kicks and slaps, and it’s working properly ever since. (that was 2 years ago)

But, the time of your purchase doesn’t matter. You will get another “Mithral Box, Legacy Armor Chest, and 10 Experience Boosters” every time you buy a DDE from the Gemstore.

The only things you don’t get more than once:

Miniature Rytlock – Issued once per account.
Chalice of Glory – issued once per account.
Tome of Influence – issued once per account

This would give an incentive to complete hardest/most expensive collections. As for now, i’m not even close to being tempted to complete the current “rare collections”.

Titles? Have dozens of that
Gear? Same.

Special outfit / collection? now that’s something unique.

Dwayna collection -> dwayna outfit? Hell yes! Worth thousand gold.

Future collections:

• Fractal collection -> fractal outfit? * . *
• Ele’s conjured weapons’ collection -> an outfit that changes appearance each time an elementalist changes attunement, or other profession gaining a boon. eg. Fire attunement/gaining might = flaming armor, earth/protection = rocky armor, etc (like Udyr)

I guess many people use their nickname on their main character, and also would like to play under the same name on different character without distorting it … so… what if name change contracts allowed you to use names already take by your other characters?

It’s quite an incentive to buy name change contracts.

They might ask, where’s the profit in this?

I’m curious about how many ppl quit the game after rolling a charr and previewing all the armors. Wouldn’t it be profitable to keep those players?

edit: If i could make Charr Chaot-like charrs, i would definitely buy some makeover kits too.

It takes a heck of a lot more money to develop things to build up player confidence than it costs to pay someone to spend an hour on here making sure it doesn’t go away.

Moreover, they seem to be actively trying to anger people. Putting SAB minis in the BLCs on March 31st was so obviously going to upset the people who want it back. I realise that isn’t everyone, but what kind of company gives that kind of middle finger to any of its customers? It isn’t like every single player who cares about SAB has been rude to them.

SAB minis in BLCs upset both kind of ppl. Those who regulary open chests get multiple SAB minis, which are not tradeable, so it counts as a useless item after having those unlocked. And those who wish to avoid RNG and buy 500gem mini packs instead.

Use 4 rare runes in the Mystic Forge. Nightmare runes usually count as a loss unless you need them.

Hall of Monuments Upgrade to be Royal Terrace/Captain’s Airship equivalent. Would be awesome if one’s account was upgraded, not the portal stone, so all characters can access it with their (old)portal stone without passing one around.

That’s exactly where i am, tempted by the lootbags, will maybe even join in. The only thing i’d feel wrong about it is getting the Ultimate Dominator title in (maybe)less than a month, while people are doing hardcore wvw for years to get it.

Heard that some guys team up and farm eachother like in Skyhammer. All hit eachother, then jump off a cliff,WP, run back, pick up lootbags, repeat.

They claimed to get ~1k kill/ hour depending on the number of players participating.

Is this legit?
I guess this does not count as match manipulation, because no server gets points from OS kills.

Or… maybe all tonics should be useable as Outfits, but some are limited to PvE?

It should deal damage on hits instead of skill use, making it more reliable dps in both PvE and PvP.
eg. Whirling Axe 15 hits = 15 confusion hits.
Confusion should not deal extra dmg per target, that’s the retaliation’s job. Whirling Axe on 5 enemies should still cause 15 confusion hit, not 15×5. That would be too strong.

Crystal Nomad Outfit and Mini Golden Pig are back in the Gemstore. Maybe this is the next.

You have to enter the room at least once to trigger the achievement before your party escorts the oozes, then you can stay outside while they do it. That’s the safest way to get the achievement.

Sliding on ice was my favorite.

Much like the ‘I am Evon Gnashblade’ command on the Trading Post there sould be an inventory search command that changes the inventory to display only the names and colors of the items as a list.

Because resizing my inventory shouldn’t be a hourly routine.

Would it be possible to make an item that changes proffession animation colors? Like a total makeover kit, but this only changes, for example, the mesmers’ pink to something else. I guess many necro players would be happy to change their black animations to red, and guardians to change their blue to gold, or white, etc.

Personally i’d pay 500-2000gems for this, depending on the amount of colours i can pick for each proffession.

It’s just colors afterall, every skill has different animations, so i guess it woulndt be so confusing for PvP. Maybe it should change colors only for the player who bought it?

I wanted the armor skin so i bought a second deluxe upgrade during the sale.
Compared to the first, i got only a Heroic Chest, no PvP Rank Points, no influence boost, no second Rytlock. Although getting a second Rytlock is now pointless, i could use the influence and the rank poins. Shall i contact support, or rather write a bug report?

- No real place in the meta. Mesmer is not bad in any part of the game its just… redundant. Unneccessary. In PvP, its “ok” for day to day play. In WvW, its only desirable in very small numbers (1 in a 20 man raid). In PvE it perform perfectly fine but other classes usually bring something better. Its a utility class (portal, veil) and that’s about it.

For the most part, yeah i agree. Phantasm’s aoe perma regen is just…something nobody cares about. At least if we had aoe 1or2 perma might per phantasm, thats someting.

For utilities, you forget that mesmer is the master of reflections. Even one mesmer can keep up perma-reflection. If your team sux so much (e.g. at grawl shaman), then you ask one to die at the middle, so you can trigger a 8sec feedback every 10 sec by pressing an F on him.

- Not allowed to wear pants. Why oh why wasnt Mesmer a medium armor class, sigh.

Unlike the medium armors, there are 2 light armor pants. Ascalonian, and Embroidered. Maybe Pirate Captain’s outfit?

Why do you assume that i’m running kittenty builds? I totally agree that zerker/assassin is the most efficient for pve and relevant builds… What i hate is that ppl decide that x class is not meta, so i’m useless, whatever build i run. Tho it must be wvw build, cuz there is no such class in pve.

I won’t ever join to LFGs which’s requirements i do not fit. But i’m quite sad when they ask for a 3rd warrior, or a guardian while they already have a thief and a mesmer. As if there was nothing else viable.

Just use fillers from your guild and/or friends list. Random followers you don’t really know or ever play with if you’re desperate.

Actually we have a sellers guild up and running with 90 members strong. Been active since the last patch that removed party leaders. Basically a glorified list of fillers. No reping is required. If you’re on EU, look us up we be more than willing to have you join. Sidenote: if you look a few pages back, I give all the guild details on a thread. But at work atm and dont have the time to look it up. Hope this helps.

I run this build and tend to beat all thieves, unless they swap to shortbow and simply evade and outdps me by destroying all phantasms… but that rarely happens :P luckily most thiefes only use SB for mobility.

I love TA Aetherpath, and i usually run if for fun, but…

• There are 2 types of players, one experienced and wants to run the “meta” and tells me to kitten off cuz im not ele war guard,
• and there are the ppl who dont know what to do at all, so it takes at least 2 hours to run through with all explanations.

Tho, it could be a really nice and exciting dungeon where all classes have their own advantage.
Necro fears and pulls are good for positioning the Holograms and escorting oozes,
Thief smoke fields make the best defence at adds + pull on holograms.
Mesmer reflects make oozes and bosses rlly easy, even a second mesmer is good to have.
Warrior with retaliation+ endure pain on the center of Sparki’ spinning attack, well… numbers explode on your screen
etc,etc.

All i have to say to those narrow sighted “meta-or-kitten-off” guys, is that you have to learn to enjoy the game and play for fun or don’t play at all. It is a game afterall.

imo necro is the least played in pvp, engineer in dungeons, and yeah mesmer in wvw.

In dungeons i often find myself being the second mesmer, and others say “SHOO, we dont need antoher one” :S
