Content = Karka Queen, Triple Wurm, Tequatl, EotM, Skills, Weapons, Armor, Traits, Zones, Dungeons, Fractals, Jumping Puzzles, WvW, SPvP, World Bosses, Champions, Dynamic Events, Map Completions, Heart Tasks, Professions, Crafting, Races, Customization, Dyes, Wardrobe, etc…

GW2 has this content, and people want more of this. Some of it has been upgraded, changed, and implemented, but the rate at which it’s implemented has been really slow. This is the major complaint from most people. It’s not about adding raids.

Some parts are so slow that upgrading havent even happened to them. Look at pvp game modes.
Oh, wait, spectator mode is a game mode. I should be satisfied.

All asura ‘citizen’ NPCs in Rata Sum have red eyes. Many of the ‘Peacemake Officer’s too.
Is that an asura illness concerning they were underground creatures and not adapted to constant sunlight yet, or is it a bug? :P

Yea..Venomshare is incredibly powerful in a group, surprised its not picked up more

its not used much because it does not grant three or four digit crits nor does it summon a wall of tears and frustration every time you stealth….

It can be tanky as kitten with solder amulet, i could win 2v1 at mid against a bunker + no-idea-what, no big numbers are needed for wanting to play a build like this. The results are good enough.

What makes it unpopular is the reaction of peers… “oh u playing venomshare? we’r gonna lose because of u” You won’t ever want to play this in solo q.

You should know that popping all venoms at the same time isn’t quite effective, since only 1 lifesteal will activate/hit from the trait. Since all venoms are instant except the heal&elite it’s easy to activate one by one while in combat.

I used to play this thief build in spvp like a year ago, with soldier amulet + pistolwhip, winning most of the 1v1 fights, even though it is a support build :P (immobilize+pistolwhip twice + popping other venoms in the meanwhile is enough for most enemies to get downed, berserker amulet is just a risk, as not much place left for invisibilities)

I like they way all minions / illusions / pets get the very same effects, thus boosting the burst damage insanely.

How so

Was stated several times that you can only make 1 action with 1 command, an auto clicker to produce a double-click action every time interval automatically goes against that rule.

Even if you use a gaming mouse macro that emulate multiple actions, like a button that turn camera + a backward leap skill + turn camera for example, isn’t allowed.

Double click is still one click but twice… so basicly autoclicker is 1 action multiple times for 1 command.

As for clipping issues, head slot skins that are clipping should be qualified as potentially clipping armor, and should note the player when previewing it, but allow him to apply the skin.
E.g. Phantasmal Hood + Glasses. Would annoy many people, but hey! it looks hilarious!

Imho, I always believed that headpieces should be splitted into 3 parts (Low, mid, and high pieces). Its how works on majority of MMO’s, i don’t understand why its nothing this way here.

I also believe that it should be only cosmetic, and not a part of the armor set at all. As if wear sunglasses would really increase my defense =).

Currently there are armors already covering certain had parts, but would not cover eachother. i.e. Several light armors cover only the top of the head, leaving the eyes and the mouth/beard-slot free.

I’d love to combine tattoos with glasses &/or hats.
Those tattoos from the beginner necro set are so cool that they should be available for all armor types.

It is just a new fashion coming into mostly wvw. In some guilds all warriors/guardians are charrs with zephyr rucksack, and all ranged characters are asuras.
Just fashion.

personally I really like the vocalizations. i think it adds to my character, particularly when it comes to Shouts.

that said, I don’t see how adding the option to mute them would be a bad thing.

do you also say the same thing after playing the game for 3000h and hearing “Save yourselves” a billion time ????

“Save your-Stand your-Retreat” makes it even better.
So does “For great-Shake it off”.

I also have to keep switching off and on the Dialog volumes.
There is one thing more annoying than my asura shouting ‘six feets tall’, and that is NPC’s meaningless repeating sentences like, “i carry only the highest quality of goods”.
There is an NPC in LA at Wintersday, that shouted at me terribly each time i ran across the mystic plaza… so i missed all the other wintersday dialogs because i turned it off.

I’d like to hear sensible dialogs, like at events, or stories, but this kind of random/idling/shouting talk is just annoying.

First of all, both of these give life force to necromancers upon death, so it is more beneficial for them than anyone else.

Secondly, I thought many of the pet summoner consumables got a time limit, so they put less pressure on the server. Then why am i able to summon a combatant NPC (even each second) with no limit, as long as i keep killing enemy players in WvW? I usually have 5 of them after pushing through an enemy blob in wvw.

I suggest a complete rework on Sigil of Demon Summoning.
As there is a sigil that heals you after each kill, I think there should be an opposite to that. Rename this sigil to Sigil of Soul Reaping, that deals direct damage to nearby enemies each time you kill a foe. (300-500?)

Thirdly, endless banker/TP/merchants pop up an interact(F) option to all people at its location, even though they can’t use it. <- Commonly used for trolling

I suggest making permanent TP express an “unlock” type of item, after which you can withdraw TP items and incomes directly from the Trading Post.
Permanent Banker and Merchant should only pop up the respective window for the user, without NPC, and time limit on usage.
Non-permanent ones should remain as they are now.

I refuse to open a dungeon out of fear I’ll have leave, disconnect, etc. and my party will get screwed over.

I refuse to join dungeons that someone else opened, especially if i don’t know him.
Not because i hate people, but for the reasons you just mentioned.
This is just too much kitten to kitten about :/

  • Adding more HP is the worst balance option ever.
  • The more ppl you have in your team not knowing what to do , the harder it gets.
    Try it with a pantasm gs mesmer,
    or; try it with a bear/drake ranger,
    or; try it with anyone with high survivality, aggroing the boss to the opposite direction from the holos, but denying to die after the 30stack effect.

It’s easy if you send your teammates to die in spinning sprockets, then you solo it.

With more hp it would only get boring. Luckily this one dungeon path is not boring.

Oh, by the way, Sparki & Slick part is duo-able, why not make them stronger? /sarcasm

Using WP after getting killed should be encouraged, rather than punishing the dead.

For example, If you rally at a waypoint from dead, you get a 100% speed boost that decays over 30sec.

Perhaps, maybe also “end next time you hit an enemy”.

I have some doubts about it tho…

Or just make it 10 sec with or without decay. Just a matter of balance, but makes walking back to the boss scene more welcoming.

The players’ problem is that dungeons are constantly generating more and more gold, whereas most needed materials(t6, lodestones) are not that common to worth farming, so players rather go to dungeons and buy them, boosting material prices, and increasing demand, while supplies are not growing.
BUT!
After those prices get extremely high, ppl will consider farming the materials instead of dungeons, so the economy will rebalance itself. – At least in terms of the value of gold and the value of materials.

I don’t think it’s a good idea to wait for that… because…
Goods with fix price (commander tag, cultural armors) are getting extremely common, and easy to get.

I’d suggest Anet to replace (even if just partially) dungeon gold rewards with materials(t6, pure ecto with no RNG, core&lodestone), that ppl can sell on TP, but not generating more gold.

Simple fix:
Whenever using a movement skill against a wall, you will be slightly knocked back, interrupting the skill. (like rushing into Line of Warding, or Sanctuary)
This should override stability.

Just out of curiosity. Even though it could or couldn’t be a bug, why did you wait until it accumulated +10 pop-us before opening them? Renown heart isn’t like reward from bosses and stuff where you barely have time to open them. You hardly would take less than 2 or 3 minutes between each renown heart.

Collect all hearts, use Karma Boosters, then open.
Sad story tho.

Hidden chests of the same instance can be opened with each of my characters.
Is this intended as an Aetherkey sink? Those chests can only be opened with Completed Aetherkeys.

I like the idea of Aetherpath without respawn. Balancing survival and effective dps is a true challenge.
At all other dungeons a dodge is sufficient defence, you can go for full dps, therefore i don’t see any challange in speedrunning dungeons. Winning/Losing by a second won’t make anyone legendary.

First of all, a PvE spectator mode has to be added, that is only available to

  • People who are invited to a spectator slot
  • Dead party members – without removing the corpse from its location.

I think OP is asking for biggest single hit dmg, like backstab, or kill shot.
Hundred Blade doesn’t do high single hit dmg. Check combat logs if you think it does.
Same for Lightning Hammer aa3, necro axe2, gua gs2.

Solo Dungeons

Few of my guild mates and i love running dungeons with less than 5 people, often solo or duo. My personal favorite is Aetherpath duo, Sparki&Slick part is an awesome 2v2 ^^

What i would like to see is ArenaNet to support this kind of playstyle by adding achievements/titles, improve loot (maybe an “Outmanned” stack) for each empty party slot -> affect CHESTS too.

I’d like to see more incentive to do dungeons like this.

In fact i dreaming about Aetherized Nightmare weapon skins, I’m running aetherpath every day without any result.
Would be nice if i had higher chance for those if i try it harder.
Would be nice too if each other dungeons had their unique (improved like aether skins) if they are solo’d.

Salvaging ECTOs

I use Mystic Salvage Kit, beacause i found that the bette the quility of kit, the more dust i get.

  • Bougth 2k ectos for 780g -> Salvaged into 210k luck + 15×250 Crystalline Dust
  • Total TP fee for Crystalline Dust was 118g (close to the 15% of 780g)
  • Total loss was 110g (that means IF there was no TP fee, i would have 8g profit on salvaging them)

Conclusion:
110g =210k luck
1g = 1910 luck (RNG warning! When salvaging 3 ectos you might end up with much less dust than the average)

^ Can’t imagine any faster way.

They are not asking for help, but open for suggestions.
i.e. They don’t spend time on adding dyes to templates, if it’s something we don’t need.

Why isn’t skill in PvP actually determined by whether or not you can kill your foe? Its all about points. Same problem in WvW. This entire game is balanced around points, not the actual ability to kill your opponent. Thats pathetic.

What about converting WvW into PvP build structure?

You still get normal+wxp, so you could level your characters without being “upscaled”
You still get loot after kills.
Same simple build UI as in pvp.
No consumables, easier balance.
No armor dmg.
Less hate toward "upscaled"s.

That’s not a fair reason.
I tried to point to the fact, that +/- 40% of anything shouldn’t exist at all.

If you use +40% condi duration food, that -40% on enemis won’t mean that you have your normal condi duration on them, but much less. Not to mention Melandru runes.
Conditions should influence WvW gameplay at least as much as normal dmg does.

Now it’s only take this food -> enemies will get tired of doing no dmg with conditions -> they will change build -> you don’t need to care about conditions anymore.
#FairBalance.

Oh… wait.. i suspect it is intended to be so, because less conditions mean less pressure on servers. What about reducing boon durations as well? I’m sure its a good idea in terms of bandwidth usage balance.

Staff ele provides the best gaming experience, tho i played 20% warrior, 25%thief, and 20% mesmer before.

I go zerker, with full dmg trait + downed trait so i even win fights where i get downed first.
With Blasting Staff trait, most of your spells cover the whole node, that is pretty good because bunkers will insist on staying on the node, (in your aoe) so they die when their defensive skills go on cooldown.

Its also a nice trick to put lava font under you before going downed, possibly even cast meteor shower, so you will get +33% dmg on those aswell.

Paying for past content?

As i get it, it’s only about instanced stories, like the dialogues in the current phase of Living Story.

If they add permanent content, then you will access it without having to pay, even if you didn’t log in at that time.
If they add a temporary content like the Nightmare Tower in Kessex Hills, you will only get the story instance (i.e. killing the toxic hybrid) and not the complete tower.
Also i think this “past content” would only contain the story rewards (like Gas Mask), and the not unique loot of that content (Jetpack)

TL;DR Those who miss the Living Story will only get the story if they pay for it. They won’t get less, they won’t get more, only the story.

Correct me if i get it wrong.
