Thats what i expect from UW.
I’ve seen people writing on map chat that they want to trade GW1 Platinums for GW2 gold. I’d glad to do so, but i don’t want to get scammed, and also i’m not sure if it is legit to trade GW2 currency for non-GW2 currency, even if that is GW1. Is it?
I still have some awesome GW1 titles waiting for unlock, but i’d rather play in GW2 to get the necessary gold, then transfer it to GW1, if arenanet supported this by adding a safe way to do this.
Or worse, we get to boss, and one person is like “hold on let me switch to my alt” we are all like “ok, np”, he leaves, we all get kicked because apparently he had started it.

It’s been a while, was DoA the one you run with a group of BP rangers…if that’s it, I remember it being so much fun, even tho it took like an hour to complete.
No, BP team was for Tombs of the Primeval Kings.
DoA was the “LBr6+ URSAN ONLY” before ursan got nerfed.
I remember my 55 Monk or Necro…so much fun farming the underworld.
That was an exploit of the game, so I wouldn’t say go back to this way -also used dual profession.
Then it was the most widespread exploit, that never got fixed.
This is the most annoying feature in the game, making me unnecessarily impatient with other players, if they host a dungeon and don’t play well.
1, If I try to help him what he should do, and he doesn’t understand English so he decides to leave, we all get kicked as well, and restart…
2, If someone from the party was dead when the end boss gets killed, and the host leaves before he could be revived… thats… you know… means no end chest for him.
3, If the host goes offline we have 3-5 minutes to finish the dungeon or we all get kicked.
4, Host switches character.
Why are we getting kicked in all these cases??? Are we really getting punished for others’ mistakes?
If I make a party and someone else hosts the dungeon before me, that makes me wanna kick him immediately… is this what i supposed to do to secure my chance for finishing a dungeon?
Why do we have this feature? Could you change it?

I’m getting 3 gold seller whispers / MINUTE, as i report the first, i get 2 other. How am i supposed to use the chat this way??? Yeah, i can turn off the whispers completely, but then i won’t see what my friends write to me…
Look at the new TA Aetherblade path – was it challenging? Yes – more than the average dungeon.
Did people play it? Yes for a few weeks after it was released.
Is there any reason to do it again if you’ve completed it and gotten all the achievement points? Absolutely not.
People are still doing it, for those skins only available from there. They worth 200-1200 gold.
Compare how many people do and want easy and rewarding dungeons to how many people want and play high-level FOTM ( which are actually challenging ) and you’ll see my point.

I’m a victim of the GW2 manifesto’s “take everything you loved from GW1”. Tho i agree whith most of you points, i still think that there should be a hardcore pve content… and what else could it be if not dungeons? (no tequatl, thx)
I used to run The Deep, and Domain of Anguish in the good old times. I can’t remember people crying about it’s difficulty. If they were unable to do it, then they didn’t do it. But it was rewarding even if you failed on the half way.
We already use smoke fields and reflects, an we don’t need retaliation or tanky gear. This is just a case of people wanting THEIR gear to be desired in dungeons and want anet to make completely random changes in the vain hope of making their stats and builds wanted. The fact of the matter is, people keep asking for intelligent mobs with varied attacks. The closest you have to that are dredge, and almost nobody likes fighting them. Be careful what you wish for.
Dredges are not intelligent… they are just immune to blind and have CC to interrupt your Hundred Blades.
BTW you can go in the open world and kill boars, dungeons are meant to be more than berserker-them-before-they-kill-you. Then respawn and try again if not succeeded. … haters gonna hate, but respawn should be also removed from dungeons It worked great in GW1, you couldn’t faceroll dungeons like here.
Never said something about spawning endless waves of mobs.
Lots of mobs = more frequent attacks = less avoidable damage = zerkers licking flowers = right?
No make single mobs attack faster.
Number of enemies should be increased, and their HP reduced, also removing ALL IMMUNITY (smoke field shout distort the dredge’s smelling ability, so they would miss all attacks, EVEN if they are already BLIND by nature!!!)
Thus encouraging multiple smoke fields, reflects, and players with tanky gear can also deal relevant dmg. Maybe even retaliation would make sense in PvE.

There is something going very wrong, 4th member of my guild is getting hacked the same way (we have like 50 active players). Some of them has extreme computer security, authentication on e-mail, more of the best spyware and antivirus programs, 20+ characters long passwords with capitals and numbers, tho they still get their account stolen.
One guild mate made a new e-mail on a NEW PC after getting hacked, and there he resolved his gw2 account problem, then he got hacked again a day later.
I suspect the security problem isn’t on the customers’ side.

Yes i can spam black powder as far as i have initiative… but that radius is so tiny for wvw
I’d like to see some further build variety concerning the thief’s effectiveness in large scale battles.
Venom share is cool, I love it, but… it isn’t as effective as other professions can be in the same role.
Spinning in smoke field made me think about how useful support blinding is.
But it’s only possible with offhand pistol + stolen bundle from warrior OR daggerstorm elite.
It was mentioned already somewhere around the manifesto that each character has strengths in each area of gameplay (CC/Dmg/Condi/Support), but i found that thief isn’t that useful in CC as lets say a warrior, or necro could.
It doesn’t have aoe stun, but i don’t even dare to ask for that.
What I’d like is some buff on aoe blinding ability by traits, or increase skill radii on blind abilities, maybe increase Black Power’s duration, or rework a shortbow skill to cause pulsing smoke field at target area.
I could either accept some more whirl finishers that can be executed on smoke fields.
Ideas?
Also… when i keep rolling over a downed ranger with DD thief, spamming 3rd skill, and maintaining 25 bleeding…. the ranger is still healing! nerf pls.
Yeah.
And…The mesmer’s downed 2nd skill doesn’t interrupt the autoattack, so sometimes it takes 2+ seconds to activate it.
“Ready Up” – anything about upcoming patches?
Asura necro in plague form.
Skill radius ring is decreased according to the size, the effects are not. -> Same in PvP; Enemies see a smaller red ring than the actual effect.
Edit: it’s not only for asuras, norns also have a bigger ring than humans… not sure which one is the real.

They don’t need to actually introduce Annihilation itself. They could essentially “create” it by allowing custom arena owners to turn off respawns, and set the point value such that a full wipe of one team = win the game.
The problem is that custom arena wins are not rewarding. Winning in a couple seconds is not far from losing in a couple seconds in terms of current rewards. Annihilation mode could have more sense kitten tournament, where you win something, or lose something (reward/rating win or loss).
Should be fixed ASAP
EotN is not working by itself. You need at least one of the 3 editions; Prophecies, Factions, or Nightfall.

WHY does everyone think that tengu = Cantha?!?!!?
There were already 2 tengu tribes on Tyria before GW:Factions was released.
And one more tribe came with EotN, that has NOTHING to do with Cantha.
Even if tengu is from the eastern mythology …. they are not from Cantha!!!
Anything may come, that is better than the 4.95 silver for a ring.

- Fissure of Woe → ambush like spawning enemies, escort & defense events
- Slaver’s Exile → bring Frozen Soil, or suffer the consequences
- Domain of Anguish → pain and gain
→ all of these had to be restarted if failed… respawning in dungeons is just… not a challenge. Ranged resurrection utilities from dead (NOT DOWNED) could enhance this game mode.All current GW2 dungeons are like "LFzerkers->enter->kill-until-win
This keeps me far from pve.One exception : Aetherpath – Chance for precious unique skin is also a lovely GW1 feature
- Right motivation if dungeons would get more difficult:
Adding visually upgraded unique skins to each dungeon (like Aetherized Nightmare Weapons) instead of pure gold might also help the economy.
e.g. Extremely flaming CoF weapons? Arah weapons with a black/blue trail effect? etc etc
Inflation seems to be running out of control, because ppl get gold for everything, while most of the precious loots cannot be traded (ascended?!)
In GW1 each dungeon run was profitable, without ruining the economy. If you didn’t get a “rare” weapon, you got a valuable amount of materials from the end chest (Not blue and green salvagable materials with close to zero value). Meanwhile trash mobs also had the chance to drop valuable things, so you were motivated to START the dungeon, not only to finish it. To prevent ppl from whining about RNG, there should be a number of fixed loot in the end chest and a number of random loot, both of them should be worth running that dungeon. →e.g. wupwup armor chest could be sold (not for a couple silvers to merchant) on the trading post.

As long as we have recorded our drops we have not had a drop. A guild member from SC have one, but it was before we started recording it, so the chance would not be correct if we added it

TDM is not a supported game mode, at least not yet. We are watching the how community responds to the format, and then we’ll go from there.
Turn off the respawn. “Farming” an already won game is pointless in spvp.
