Welcome ! Gw2 is great game and as casual player you will love it.Just ignore forums.

First of all Archage is not available to play,its not even in OB.Second is that housing is not really reason why people play Archage ( i dont care a less about housing).And final and most important thing (why i wont replace GW2 for Archage) is cause Archage is for “hardcore” players and Gw2 is for “casuals”.When i play a game…i want to play a game (not to play real life).I dont want to farm and farm and spend countless of time by doing useless stuff such as building house where i will never walk in later.Gw2 community is too much used on casual gameplay.Just 50% of them wont go there just cause Archage will have “duels” rofl.

- New PvP Content for me.This game lacks of good PVP.
- Living Story – i like 2 weeks updates
- New features – duels,guild halls etc…
- Less Content Updates – not much interested

Yes we do like jumping puzzles and every other mechanics that require us to jump.Those people that complain about them here on forums are same those people that complain about duels,mounts,and every other features that does not harm game at all but they still whine around for the sake of whining.This game is already way too casual to now remove this as well…If you don’t like jumping then go play games that does not have jumping,don’t try to ruin our GW2.

What i care is exactly stuff that you don’t care (new story, maps and events) so if they give me this im fine with it.Things that i dont care but i dont mind are new races,classes and skills lol.Funny how people have different tastes hah.

I killed Liadri with d/d thief XD.Man that was hard work but it felt soo good after that,i had to dance around her all the time and i learned alot about fighting mesmers now.I use to had problem beating mesmers in WvW but no longer.I think that people that killed her deserve to have her as prof of hard work and should not be on market place.But i wont be selfish,its not that much important anyway so its whatever for me if they add it.

Yeah we do need GvG.

It have lots of people.I like usually to spend time in queensdale when im bored so i see lots of newcomers coming to game.They ask for tips,map chat is usually active.Events are full with people so much that people complain on lags.Recently Anet released megaserver which solved problem of dead population on certain maps as it was before.Join us and you will see yourself

Why dont you go then and look how many views and comments Cantha tread has? I dont even want to talk about numbers of treads made for dueling.Stop been selfish people.Dueling wont hurt anyone.

last time i saw a thread like this about 80% were against duels, the reason why you don’t see “remove duels” threats because it isn’t in PvE.
if it was, i can guarantee that allot of players would leave the game permanently, apparently it does hurt someone

Well i played WOW,AION,and at least 10 more MMORPG games and no1 ever left cause of duels.But i know that many people did left GW2 cause of lack of duels and 1 of them is my brother.This is only MMORPG game that i know that has no open world (pk) or duels in open world at all.It was only thing that was backing me off from buying this game.But what lacks here…Everquest Next will have.Too bad that Anet always learns too late.

First of all…Mudbone,people that want duels agrees with default auto-decline.Second thing is that….if you really counted that then seriously…i dont want to be rude but that is just prof of “hating”.There is a poll and it shows everything.You cant know what players want based on “yeas and nays” cause not everyone are ragers and haters that want to argue on the forums.People vote and leave to play a game.Some people dont care about conversation that is going on here,other people dont care much about dueling to care to comment anything here at all,but they dont mind it.I talked with many people in game and everyone agrees on 1 thing.They dont go to forum at all cause they think that toxicity here is terrible.Most of players dont even read forums and those that do,they think that all these negativity and attempt’s to prevent some people from getting content they want is vary sad thing.Those people that said “nay” here are dueling “haters” (no offence really) and that is why they doing everything to prevent this content from happening.But other games already showed that duels are not problem.Biggest MMORPG ever WOW has duels and was never a problem to Blizzard community.Other games proved that as well.Gw2 community is just to spoiled.I know i will get negative point for this but i had to say it.

Could someone please care to explain me why is it that you want duels? In all games that I’ve played that had this feature, it was used primarily to prove superiority. I have never witnessed a “friendly” duel. So, is it solely for superiority? Or why do you want it so bad?

So that we dont stay afk in town doing nothing when we are bored.So that we can test our skills with enemies we want,with classes we want.So that we can test our skills with our proper WvW (PVE) gear without searching for certain class on 1vs1 in WvW for 50 min.So that when i go to WvW and attack someone,someone from my server doesn’t whispering me with “please leave him,we are dueling” thats why. Last time i was doing WvW i attacked 2 targets in 5 min that were both dueling with my server mate..and i had to stop..I dont even know who can i kill and who i can not in World vs World !.I dont know should i help my server mate or not anymore cause i dont know if hes getting ganked or hes just dueling on place that is not man’t for dueling.Non having dueling gets in conflict with WvW.

The reason you can see more pro-dueling threads is that those anti-dueling don’t create threads. If everyone who was against Open-World dueling created a thread, I don’t think your premise would hold much weight.

Duels are PvP – you can do that already – your own PvP arena and then duel to your hearts content.

Don’t need to add it anywhere else.

And living story is PVE content.We dont need at all fractials or expansions.If you want expansions just do LS,if you wont dungeons just do dungeons,they should not waste time on fractials right?

Gw2 doesn’t need saving,just more content.

I want desert map where we will have some big town that will look in Elona stile.I want pyramids,sandworms,scorpions,shelters and world boss there.I also would like to see some arena there which whould look like colosseum in purpose of expending on PVP (outside of zoned – open PVP) and PVE (queens gauntlet type).I would like some dungeon full with undead creatures and bosses.

I agree.Anet really tries to help people in trouble.I been contacting customer support team twice since the day i bought game and they fixed my issues both times.

I agree.Gw2 is and amazing game that only lacks content.With more content they add,the game will be better.

I don’t see them adding an expansion any time soon. Probably more of the living story stuff. I’d greatly prefer it if they did actually add in some real content instead of all the temporary fluff.

You are not paying attention on Anet posts at all.There wont be temporary content anymore (except halloween event and such).Every release from now on is permanent content,every LS release is permanent content.Inform yourself first pls before you write this stuff.Read Anet post about LS season 2 and journal.

I dont care about player housing.Its useless feature where you waste your money on building something and latter you ask yourself “what was the point”.I had it in AION,i though its fun…untill i finished it and never got back there again.I dont mind for those Rpers to have it or whoever likes it ofc cause im not selfish but what would i like is Guild Housing like on original GW.

So what’s up with this.On Gw2 page they released we can see that we can use badges of honor to buy it.Meaning – we can craft each skin with just 100 tickets.Now i dont see where i can buy Gift of Heroes with badges and with tickets cost 200??Why would anyone want to craft weapon and waste other ingredients if we can just buy weapon with 1 click. Crafting a weapon costs 300 tickets and buying a weapon also costs 300 tickets…makes no sense.

I just hope that we all get it.Its just not fair that some get and others not.

Simple answer is that its not yet in to game.Will it be or not we dont know but large people on forums are against it from some really stupid reasons “if we can call it reasons at all”.Anyway go on that link and add your name there as the rest of majority Gw2 players that wants this feature.

I hope as well we get PVE open world dueling.What this people fail to understand is that duel should be 1vs1 and not 1vs many.Duels should not be capturing points and such.Its should be something people can do wile waithing for event or something to happens.This is only MMORPG that i played that doesnt have any open world PVP.It doesnt have PK and doesnt have duels and sPvp and WvW cant compare with duels cause arena-types pvp you are doing with strangers.I want to duel with friends with my PVE gear not PVP gear so dont even talk about 1vs1 arena.

I have the same problem BUT my account is really “clean” : no region transfers at any time !

I was on EU servers (Fort Ranik) before the beginning and have never changed region in the meanwhile (and thus i’m still on the same server).

My rank indicator (hidden achievement) is correct. Still no chests.

My account is clean as well but there…i didnt got my chest ether,whats funny is that i had problems with season 1 archivemants as well,i also had account bug that i had to solve myself cause Anet didnt had idea how to fix it lol..this thing just happens to me alot in this game and i really want those skins :/

Its like this with every game,only difference is that GW2 after WOW has biggest community and that also means more ragers.To add to that,Gw2 is atm only competition to WOW so WOW fanboys like to HATE and HATE to justify why they still paying for that “ancient” MMO.Look at ESO,since got out WoW fanboys went to forums and youtube to hate the game they never even tried.There are also those kind of people that prefer stupid cartoonish animation instead of real thing so they are going towards WOW and WildStar.Point is that haters gonna hate,they feel happy when they are doing that and they wont stop-same thing happends in MOBA genre.Just play your game and dont pay attention on ragers.

I tried WS and played it for hole like 5 min…that animation is just horrible.I deleted game and wont go there even when it turns to FTP

I dont like class discrimination that i felt playing as assassin in many games where people though of me as “useless assassin” and i been pushed away to wait for hours to find pt.Also i dont like to wait for healers for 30 min.In short if they add trinity to this game then some classes like rangers will have many problems to find pt since some hate to have them in pt already.
