I like masteries,better grind something then having no content and whine about on forums how THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO IN GAME.MMO’s are not for lazy people,if you don’t like it,you are on wrong genre so feel free to leave.

Joel you are freaking awesome man…you just changed GW2 combat from boring to amazing.With soo many action combat based games that coming out soon,this will be really turning point for lots of GW2 players to stay and keep playing this game.I know this combat will be hard for PVP,WvW but at least for PVE its much more fun now !

Hah u wish XD.Only thing you can get from stealth ( thief ) is more nerf.Yep,up to the point where stealth will last 1,5 sec like on league of legends or will be just partly invisible.That is the moment when this community of noobs that floaded forums gonna be happy since they are screaming about stealth nerf for ages.

I think they should also remove block and heal skills from game cause players abuse them too much…You want Camouflage instead of stealth?So how you expect thief to hit a backstab if people can see him all the time?Do you people understand that thief has absolutely NO defense except stealth…Thief does not have big HP,does not have much thoughness,does not have healing that worth something,does not have blocks,no bubbles ,it has no def at all.Many thiefs already quit doing WvW cause of all those massive nerfs thief got,even the best thief in game – Yishis quit playing it which he stated on hes videos,cause was massive nerfed and ruined.Stop ruining this class anymore…cause of your whining thief has become class that can only be played with 1 same glass build that people are forced to use.Kill with 1 hit or die with 1 hit.Lost all survability cause of this community whining and now keep going with it…And before some of you say it,no i don’t care about my writing or English at all.What i cared is Gw2,game i quit since that massive trait changes that nerfed Thiefs builds to oblivion wile making Elemenatlists and Mesmers overpowered to the point that you cant fight them anymore.Don’t bother to reply,i wont bother to look for your reply here at first place.

I was asking for real night for ages already..but lost all my hopes that this will come from Anet.But then…holly savior WoodenPotatoes come out with a video about ReShade and i know’d that i can finally play GW2 with night been really a night.

Since it has been asked many times are these mods actually forbidden or not,and Anet never said any words of it,i will use this as soon as i get new PC that im gonna buy for Heart Of Thornes.
Night will finally look like night…even Archeage have better night then GW2.

So u are saying that i can see any of HOT classes and fight them in WvW right now?Even though i dont have beta access for HOT?That’s odd,since beside Revenant,i did not see any of other subclasses in game.

Today i was playing WvW and wile i was searching targets in massive zerg party…..i found Revenant…perhaps was not Revenant ( i could not locate player in mass of enemy players) but it was Revenant symbol in that im sure.I noticed it few times and when i was about to make SCR he could not be found with tab-targeting anymore.This really confused me and my brother who was watching me playing.
I dont own HOT ( yet ),so i don’t know how does Revenant join core WvW.

I agree with OP,this game is too easy and Anet just making it worse and worse at this point.Instead of making it harder,they give’d us that NPE nonsense where they even more broke the fun aspects of this game.
As for you OP,to really know why is this game so much popular you actually need know the game,to actually reach the end game.Right now you dont know even 2% of GW2.
Gw2 is not some WOW clone that just copy – paste entire gameplay.Gw2 have best events ever seen in an MMO – if you dont trust me,just wait for halloowen.Gw2 have jumping puzzles which is also something that hes never before seen in an MMO.
Gw2 have living story which is ongoing story that is presented really well.
To know really what GW2 is about,you need months of playing to see all those differences between GW2 and other MMOs.Gw2 is popular for exact those differences that you don’t have idea about,not because of hard killing npc gameplay.

No,i don’t want to be forced to have virtual marriage just so i have fair amount of magic find as you roleplayers have.I don’t mind that they put marriage in to the game but no bonus buffs,just for your fun aspect.
I don’t think though that this will be ever in game,this is not asian type of MMO or sandbox at all.

I like core game going FTP.This will boost GW2 community by ALOT,which will boost Anet wallets as result,which will bring us more and better content.All of this for a vary small price and that is – not been lazy to spare 2 sec on pressing – block player.
Now all of you are upset about bots and hackers but tell me….does WOW have hackers and bots in some significant numbers?WOW is also same way of FTP as GW2 and we can call it TRIAL.
In WOW,as much as i know,you can download game and play it till lvl 20 without limit.This also means that game can be full of bots and hackers but…its NOT.
Gw2 have trial that instead of locking your levels,it locks your content.Anet is big company and i don’t think they gonna let bots and hackers infest this game,just as Blizzard never did.

If you cant bother to play a game and get max lvl in 5 days then MMO is not for you.Karma boosters are useless since we dont need karma for anything,rest of boosts you can cower by food.

Wedding will never become a thing in this game,you can see clearly that Anet is focusing all the time on PVP and PVE and wedding does not fit any of this “gameplay”.

I always have to laugh at people standing around with their latest virtual party dress or special snowflake mini. You’ve seen them…especially since mega-server. You are right and this is just another example of how much this community is selfish.I for example don’t like mini-pets,outfits,WINGS the most cause all of that breaks the immersion of this game.

Every1 should play this game the way they like it,if they like all those useless game breaking immersion things,they can have it…but i don’t like it and i don’t want to even see it.

- Once i fought engineer in duel with my theif ( i use valk gear).All he did to kill me was this,he put few traps or whatever it was,then he use pull to drag me in and BOOM – dead.I did not even stand the chance
- There was mesmer in WvW that bombard me with torment,how to defend torment with Thief?Remove condition in stealth removes torment in like 3-4 sec staying in stealth,since it first removes poison and other useless stuff that no1 use anymore and you cant possible remove them all.He also had more stealth then me so was impossible to counter
-There was mesmer that vanish in front of me and then BOOM,i drop dead.I dont know what he done but i didn’t even saw it coming,it was less then 2 sec he killed me.
Even when i play with mesmer same happens,i have more survivability but that is cause i play meta shatter/PU build.
Before last big (LA) patch,there were just 2 classes that were OP – Guardian and Warrior.Now Guardian and Warrior are well balanced but lots of classes are broken and OP.

Sounds more like inexperience. You’re a Thief, you have mobility, use it.
Why didn’t you dodge the Engi pull? Why didn’t you run away from your best counter(conditions)?
Why didn’t you stealth when you saw the Mesmer? The only way he can have more is if he has PU, which probably means he doesn’t have the sustain Inspiration brings.

No,your judging my experiance is irrelevant.First of all you cant always dodge skills since thief got energy nerfed,then you cant always notice pull when there are 2 more enemies around you,third – dying cause you missed 1 dodge is stupid.Elemenatist wont die if he miss 1 dodge,enginer want die if he miss 1 dodge,necro wont die if he miss 1 dodge.In this game,squashy classes are those that cant make singe mistake if they want to win cause game combat is not designed atm to need combos,it designed to play with OP meta builds and kill with 2 hits.
Im done with you.If you dont believe what im saying,you have class forums,perhaps some1 refreshes you there.

oh they are very very strong. there’s a reason why the mesmer forums are in fiesta mode right now and some their own want a nerf in their own class. You don’t see that everyday in a class subforum. Also why 80% of roamers you’ll ever meet are pretty much their class nowadays. I won’t expound more to escape potential drama and that i find the official forums quite unnecessarily toxic as of the moment.

it’s certainly not doom and gloom but the gigantic class bandwagon towards the meta is very very real. As to why no action has been taken, my guess is as good as my pet dog’s. and he’s usually right and very negative.

Are they killing people in “2 spells”? With recent fixes it’s gone down a bit since the initial spec release.

Only been in wvw a few hours since the last patch, most of the roamers I meet were thieves and ranges ^^;.

This is not rage tread and im not quitting (yet),but im glad i didn’t pre-purchase HOT since every day i feel like quitting this game.WvW since the last big patch is soo broken…that i didn’t saw such a broken combat since Jade Dinasty.They destroyed our builds,made just a few viable builds that you must play or else you get with 1 shot.

Elementalist is broken the most,its soo overpowered that is beyond words,it does not have weak spot at all,strong in def – strong in attack.
Condition mesmers – dont even bother to pvp them,2 spells and you are dead.You cant spam condition clear as much as they can broken conditions.( I have fully geared mesmer)
Thiefs got nerfed againd…..Yes they got huge dmg now but they are squishy that cant do anything unless they play our fabulous meta(glass) build.Survivability is gone.Thief can 1 shot kill him,mesmer can do as well,every aoe class counters stealth and burst you in just 1 sec.D/D is dead.
Entire combat in this game become just like on Jade Dinasty,who hits you first wins.In this game now you literally can kill squishy classes with 1 or 2 spells ( no need to even combo anymore)

I love this game,i play it for 3 years now,i didn’t mind bugs,or no content or anything as much as this and this is literally my first “complain” tread on forums.I play MMO’s cause of PVP and now PVP is here dead for me.
I got tired of trying to WvW with 3 different classes and that same players kill me with ease by using 2-3 buttons,wile i need to work hard to even do a bit dmg (playing the way i like)
I hope Anet returns traits the way they were before,where every class could play offensive or deffensive.Playing squishy classes and been killed by 2 aoe spells does not make combat fun,it makes it vary frustrating for players that dont want to play meta builds.
I know my English is not perfect,yeah it is broken,bot not even a bit as this game is right now.

It doesn’t matter if you forget the secret code. I made that mistake just now but luckily it is saved in the WinAuth.exe app. Just open it up and right-click your Authenticator and choose ‘Show Secret Key’.

You don’t use that “secret code” to get into the game, you use the authenticator, which will give you the actual numbers you have to use to log in. If you lose your phone (or whatever device you installed the authenticator on), you’ll have to contact customer support and they’ll disable the authenticator, at which point you just redo everything you did before to set up a new authenticator on a new device.

I used desktop authenticator,but yeah,in case i dont get code,will ask customer support to disable the authenticator.
