I wanna second this. DB has always welcomed new guild with open arms, and they have always found themselves welcomed and immediately considered part of our community.
Curious, did BP GvG any other guilds on Mag? I guess PYRO is the only one I know of that even does GvG regularly.
Given this experience, I doubt if we will. We do GvG to enjoy, practice and further our skill. When we see losing guilds post misguiding stuff on forums, it leaves a sour taste in the mouth. We have been honorable in our dealings, and yet get all this hate when people lose.
That said, if there is any interest, feel free to reach out to Grimaldi. He has less tolerance than most for petty matters/large egos, so please deal accordingly.

Well, let’s see…they used to be on Maguuma, one of my friends is still in it (as mentioned above) and several were in it, Convenant came to our Mumble several times when we were in the same tier on opposing servers…he defriended me after moving to FA though :’(

I think it has more to do with which side has the best support. Cleansing, stability, healing, retaliation, reflection, being concerned for others instead of only yourself.
I think you’re putting too much emphasis on support, from your previous post…there are like zero people who run support at fight club unless group fights are expected.
You are right. Fight club one on ones have no need of support. So, when the zerg comes, no one is prepared.
And yet, often times they win anyway. Imagine that…

I said I went up to “some” players, not up to 40. To be precise, I walked up to two players with another three not too far away and the DB zerg recently departed.

Black Talons recap video for this week. Lots of the fights from last night on FABL against DIS and the TC militia make a bulk of this. We spent most of our time on KNBL this week and it was kind of meh. Last night really broke the boredom. Great fights out there last night TC, was a blast!
;_; someone from TC said Maguuma isn’t competitive in WvW, looking for a server to transfer to, anyone? Anyone? Must be competitive. No portal bombs allowed.
The TC lead is more than expected: the 105k lead of TC over KN can mmaybe be explained by the guilds that left/leaving KN, but the 85k lead of TC over FA is a lot.
This basically sums up the fact that FA and KN belongs to the same tier. TC doesn’t belong here anymore.
The next wild card is DB. Are they tier 2? Or are they tier 1.5?
They can’t maintain a consistent PPT lead in NA prime time in tier 3, so probably not near tier 1 coverage.

I didn’t mean your post specifically. Whenever we bring up your SEA presence we get attacked by some DB posters, no matter how innocent the post might be. So initiating that conversation is just asking for another forum war, whether or not it was intentional.
I truely feel for any server that loses a core group of players to transfers. I remember however the absolute stomping ( spawn camped at every exit for a week) we got from kn when they had the massive influx. Do not know how things will pan out next week theory fighting not my style. However I am sure Mags and Yaks would love some payback.
Payback indeed! Though I don’t think they are really that weak still, given the current score. Their numbers may be dwindling but that’s not enough to prove to me that we can actually go easy on them.

Maguuma has always been my favorite server to match up against. The zerg is pretty significant and I have to say I freakin hate Maguuma’s roamers. I run a lot of yaks into keeps, and no other server makes me yell at my computer like you guys.
Don’t worry, in T2 you’ll have 80 man roaming groups taking out your yaks

Heh, see there’s that db attitude, I voice a legitimate beef and get back sarcasm… unless your being genuine, in which case color me weirded out (im probably the least skilled person I know and you simply cant deny that your constant dominance in t2 is purely due to your coverage and numbers).

Hope you guys get enough of a score this week to move up, its for the best of us all, Yaks, Mags and db, im happy where I am and simply want to fight a fair fight, you can have and play the glorious ascension to t1 game all you want.
So you think the T2 server coming down to join you guys in T3 is going to be any better? FA has a monster NA and Oceanic crew and Kaineng has a much larger SEA than we do.
T3 is going to be a mess for the next few weeks with T2 servers hopping in and out of T3 like it was a month or so back. That is, unless another T1 superserver tanks . . .
WM and CO are leaving Kaineng and we’re unsure of how that will impact their coverage/numbers.
I don’t know about that, everything I hear about T2 is that they run around in superzergs and lag each other to death. I’m sure there are skilled people there as in every server, but when it’s 80vs80 then general player skill isn’t nearly as important as other factors.
Strange, a few months ago (it was just before paid transfers), I saw a thread encouraging players to not join Maguuma because you were happy where you were in WvW. Did some of you get tired of losing?
No, but our Oceanics are burning out with 1000000:1 odds every night.
Our posting has been pretty tame relative to earlier threads. You’re welcome to believe whatever you want but the opening salvo in this thread was most definitely not fired by us.
Pretty awesome how Mag’s NA crew has been dominating the match so far, isn’t it? I wonder what their excuse will be this week… The new reset time screwed them over?
