I think a few people should remember that every winning server is called the zerg server- when SBI was winning their tier, they were called a zerg server, when CD was winning, they were called a zerg server, now that we’re winning, we are called the zerg server.

Mag’s EB faction by far has the most numbers. They can easily run 60 deep and look like tier 1/2 zergs yet they are not nearly as good at their BL teams. Mag will get hit pretty hard in EB, seeing as Yaks and DB both will match their mega zerg in numbers.

SBI has seen a big population increase this week in EB. Our zerg has hit 50 lemmings strong and during NA prime we don’t have any problems in EB and have taken SM almost every night. Most of our EB success can be attributed to DC and Bannok.
Our borderland commanders/teams REALLY struggle at times. Sometimes due to pop. difference or just outplayed. Very interested to see the new SoS and how they fare in this tier.

Yeah, I dunno what happened to our EBG this week, but there has been what, a 30 minute queue during NA prime time for it most of this week? And when EBG wasn’t doing well, it was impossible to reinforce well because of the queue.

It’s funny because a few months ago the positions were exactly reversed

Ask around and see how many of our major WvW guilds have transferred because of our losing streaks. This is a video game, not a job. If it’s a job to you, more power to you. But I for one play video games to have fun and I’m allergic to grind and walking yaks to keeps for hours on end. Its not the losing matter. SBI has lost a ton. We lose a lot. never been a factor for me (and most of the remaining people, I assume). The ones who cared all left in a mass dramatic exodus. It is more of the fact that you don’t have to work hard to be successful against us.

And I am not saying play all week without sleeping. Apparently, Mag can decide to lock us out of maps, and it will be done. Why not do that? Lock it down and keep it for a few hours. That will rack up a few points. And maybe even create better harder fought fights. Who knows?

I also play for fun. I would just maybe have more fun with you elsewhere having fun. :P

And besides, we all know that we just motivated CD to not burn out (which is why we beat them) and to get back into the fight. I guessed after I saw we won that CD would be back for a vengeance to reclaim their spot. xD But thanks on the compliment. Proud of some of the fights SBI had.

It’s a lot of work, like we said :\ We held CD BL for a long time one night with a pretty skeletal crew at one point. There were pretty fun fights (I showed up midway through this when we were getting waypoint at garrison) but at some point most of them just gave up and went elsewhere, and then it got really boring. And I was only there for the easy part and only had to escort the one yak to finish the waypoint. I don’t know if we can do it for that long against SBI since they obviously have a bigger NA presence and the numbers vs CD were already pretty even when I arrived.

Do you really want us to tryhard wvw all week, pop up wps in all your keeps, and camp you at spawn? Personally, I think that sounds a lot more boring for all of us. Keep going on thinking you’re a special flower though.

Meh, I don’t think T3 will even offer us “better” fights. Maybe more good fights. But some of the [SBI] fights we’ve had have been better than anything I remember from Yak’s Bend, as far as open field is concerned. Granted, my memory of Yak’s Bend is pretty dim back from when we were always fighting them. A lot of us want to go to T3, but we’re pretty casual players. And I don’t mean that in terms of how much we play as much as how much boredom we’re willing to tolerate. Good fights aren’t so non-existent here that I’m in a super hurry.

Last night we had a pretty fun one where CD was breaking out at SBI-owned SE tower (might have these servers reversed, I don’t remember who’s at SE spawn) and we were just messing with them from the west side. Despite having Siegerazer and free siege, it wasn’t a super stomp, despite them having a slight numbers advantage as well. But CD left maybe 15 minutes after that fight.

It is still highly questionable. But I get it. Here you win. Here you are winners. Why go to another tier and jeopardize that? But SBI and CD have been having an extremely close week, and it would be better to have another server that may also end up being very evenly matched with us.

Why strive to get to a position of possible failure (even the possibility of losing to YB, which is apparently a huge issue that many WvW analysts have spent hours mulling over).

I do agree that SBI has stepped up, with the influx of players giving us a boost and all. Maybe this next matchup will be a lot closer than this week has been…

I think you should ask your server mates that question before you ask us. If you could pull that off you’d obviously move up a tier and it doesn’t seem to be the fight you’re looking for.

Btw, the last server that managed to take our keeps and camp us all week was Yak’s Bend (just for comparison purposes).

So it appears the removal of culling melted my graphics card. It just spontaneously combusted last night after several massive zerg fights.

For the record, it was a decent card on a decent system*, was only a year old, and when I went into WvW I turned my settings low and got rid of shadows. But apparently the new changes were too much for it, alas.

Durps are ex GOONs (at least some of them). All there is to know. I heard stories about them, hardly believed what was told. Till I met them.

For a while I was hoping they’ll go to T3. We played SoS in T1 a lot and, while annoying at times, they still are decent and respect worthy people. Now I wish we could lose and go back to T5 just so we would have to deal with their “competitive style”.

Not sure what CD you’ve been seeing, but the DURP (rofl) nametag from what I’ve seen almost always translates into free kills. I’ve lost count the number of times when I’ve been in a small group that steamrolls a DURP-bad zerg that outnumbers us 2 or 3 to one. The DURP zerg of course responds with more numbers. 10 DURP bads aren’t enough to take a supply camp being defended by 2 CD? Then bring on over another 10! rofl

But you keep saying we run from fights and WP back at the first sign of MAG….which is not true from my prospective I have died many times to the red ragging rampage……but when the fights we face in the open field vs MAGs is almost always getting rolled over by 3-4 times our number are you surprised that many try to avoid you?….if you really want WvW open field skirmishes try giving us a chance with more even numbers once in awhile.

Those groups you have at fight club are very good, your large zergs get watered down with not so good pugs is my guess and while they still roll over us with shear numbers we have many times wiped greater numbers then us due to that diluted talent.

We can’t really tell our pubbies to go away, unfortunately, especially with this new patch. We almost always start out as a guild group, but it certainly doesn’t end that way. But considering our guild evolved from public Mumble players, it’s not that surprising.

Was there a server event or did y’all go to CD BL or EB? Because normally we are met with the angry zerg when we touch your stuff…there were some just not as many as usual from my prospective.

Pretty much this, I think it’s dumb but there will always people that poopsock all new content right away so they can get back to being bored/doing whatever they were doing before.
