This is a very easy question to answer, actually. It is good to have something in-game for people of all skill levels. This puzzle was made for platform enthusiasts that want a real challenge. We may be a minority of all GW2 players, but that doesn’t mean we can’t sometimes have content made just for us. The vast majority of content in GW2 is made to be completed by 100% of players, but any MMO with depth will have a wealth of side-content designed to appeal to specialized interests.

GW2 has embraced this philosophy by offering a robust structured PvP system, siege PvP, and a normal PvE game. Very few will like everything the game has to offer, but the variety means they will probably find something to like. There are already games out there that essentially only design content for the broadest section of players, we don’t need more. If Arenanet started to only design content that they expect only 5% will complete, then that would be a mistake. Having a very, very small % of content that presents this sort of challenge though is completely reasonable and gives the game depth it might otherwise not have.

theres xxxx jumping puzzles that are already easy

and i dont get where this 5% came from?
all players i know did it already, yea maybe it took them few hours to finish it but they did it

maybe i should cry why getting legendary weapon is soo hard it should be for everyone not only 1% or less players

well i have bad news for you

personalized bags have different drop table than normal ones

and theres no endless tonic in them, but they have recipes for mad king runes and give more halloween materials and candies

rising crafting from 1-400 give 10 lvls

if you want to lvl to 80 you need to max all craftings

i see lots o ppl didnt played GW1

in gw1 there are special items that drop from mobs when event is active

so any speculations here are just to increase price of some items so someone can get rich

its the best thing happened to me becouse

i reroll to warrior and now i can have 25 stack of might and do 25 bleed stacks

thats more than Ranger spamming 1 with QZ

first of all thief attack first!!!
steal + backstab is enough to kill any berserker exotic in less than a second

hundred blades is easly dodged

there will be “black lion chests halloween edition” normal ones have no use

i Hope ANet realese different chests so these kitten resellers lose all thier money

I think RAIDs are possible

commander need a little revamp and need some more work creating these big dungeons, make them mega hard to finish, with lot of jumping puzzles, traps and strong bosses

but i say no for exotic 1tier exotic 2tier etc
just give the end chest a better chance of obtaining better loot such as pre-cursors or exotics or something special

Thieves aren’t overpowered, if you can dodge a thief’s attacks (highly unlikely), mitigate their damage or stun them, they’re pretty much kittened. Well if they survive that then it probably means their damage to you wasn’t that high to being with.

Thiefs are broken class, even with power, thougnes, vit set thiefs hit like truck becouse of 100% crit chance in stealth (most op skill ever dont need precision gear)

and yes thiefs can be in stealth all the time

well i must agree with ANet that we rangers that was using sbow was spamming 1 most of the time

but its becouse we chose to play condition dmg and thats one of 2 skills that does conditions

now they “fixed” some bug that never happened to me in about 400hours playtime

and totaly destroyed condition rangers dps from 16 stacks of bleed to 10 stacks

sure it would be ok if you revamp the other sbow skills to be more usefull/ do more dmg

already told you theres a luck factor, you just could be lucky with crude and basic kits

it is, you can get it only from rare and exotics lvl 70+ (obtaining them is easy tho)
used kit to obtain ectos matters

getting way more ectos using black lion than crude kits

rags have fixed chance to get materials like the coin have 50% for head and tail (you can fix the coin to always give you head as you can fix the dice to always give you 6)

anet decided that gossamer should be harder to get becouse its used for highest gear crafting

in the future they can add more tiers and new salvage items that give you gossamer + xxxx at the same chance as rags now

but still gossamer is common crafting material and you cant change that

i dont need to show you numbers i salvaged over 10k items
