1. We had mesmer hiding in Ogrewatch for 10 minutes, when he announced it in map chat, he got zerged at his exact location he gave us.

2. Before SF assaulted our keep in EB, our keep was drained on a bunch of arrow carts underneath supply huts.

3. Where ever we move, SF are there hiding in a corner waiting for ambush. ( I was convinced you had an awsome scout but point 1 and 2 disproves that.)

I was actually there when someone shouted in map chat they spotted an enemy in that tower. So no, no spy.

Oh and I was there spawn camping you guys. Was fun farming you. Too easy, but still fun. I apologize to the dude that turned into a snowman to make friends on our side. I was the one that told people to spike you down and I danced on your corpse, bad sportsmanship, truly sorry(not really)

I don’t mind so much about that really bad thief. I’ve puked on her dead body that many times now it’s become boring. Also haven’t seen anyone dance.

As for the spy thing, I will admit where I was wrong, turns out we have a server troll wasting supplies on everything and feeding you guys info in party chat.

As for spawn camping – The loot from us would have been nice for you guys but the loot we have gotten off you at water gate with 3 failed attempts while you guys outsmarted superior ac’s by standing in red cirlces was a lot better, then again at SM just now. Cheers btw too for whats in the pic ^.^

this is normal from what ive seen of yaks. they cant win normally with 1 or 2 so they send in zerg types and claim that it is not the reason for doing so.

Yes because everyone is running a build to do 1v1… I spend most of my time pulling small groups of GoM’s and Kain’s to Yak’s zergs, let’s be clear WvW is not for 1v1 so stop trying to hide behind your self-righteous mask lol, you’re just like everyone else out there ^ ^

I guess I am still used to FC/ET and lower tier servers holding thier own with out a zerg to back em. They learnt how to fight and I myself am still practicing and always trying to take every opportunity possible.

LOL If this pic had been of the same guild, I would have given you the benefit of the doubt saying that they could have called for help. When it is that random of guilds, it just means they saw an easy kill and went for it. I’ve never ever heard one guy call out for help to kill one baddie.

Again, like i said, thief fail ganks, I chased and was baited, my only point to this whole kitten you kitteners have to drag on is that the 1v1 would have been nice even though he had upper hand. Yes, it is my fault for chasing but who doesnt want to kill a fail thief?

TBH 95% of ZL was PvEing all day before we left anyways, so I wasn’t expecting any massive drop in performance from GoM. I was still surprised GoM was able to stay up this well with t5(?) servers. My comment about the fairweathers stemmed from an earlier comment in this thread about lots of lowbies in GoM zergs.

Just to let you know, ZL is having lots of fun on JQ. We’re learning lots of stuff, meeting lots of cool people, running guild zerg every night, and queues aren’t really an issue. We’re improving ourselves everyday.

Yes, some of us get frustrated with constantly being smashed by both servers but at the same time it has pulled a lot of the original smaller guilds back into WvW and a lot of old native commanders too. People are working for the PPT again and have a fun time using tactics again, something we lacked while we had credit card commanders running the show.

You have said you enjoyed JQ and you’re having a blast then prove it by not coming back here every few days.

Constructive criticism. YB does it too but not to the extent I’ve seen Kain and GoM when tabbing through zerg targets. Stop bringing alts to WvW… I haven’t seen so many upleveled free kills in a loooooong time. Not saying that’s the main reason you’re losing but it sure doesn’t help when 50% of your zerg is dead from 2 hits. lol

Can’t speak for Kain (or most of GoM to be honest), but we’ve been stuck fighting servers that can’t compete with us (mostly due to numbers, i like to think that we have some good tactics too, but so does everyone on every server) for a long time now. Due to that, i think we’ve had a large influx of players who see wvw as a quick and easy way to level up their lowbies because of all the karma trains we ran to relieve the boredom of 3 weeks of FC. Hopefully these people will catch the wvw bug and jump on their 80s now that they realise uplevels don’t work against higher ranked opponents. Either that or they’ll leave. And we’ll be sad.

I think most of em left, can’t tell with this new content out but at times we have 5 people most in EB and have to deal with 40 kain. Superior arrow carts have been a lot of fun this week.

If by spawn camping you mean 5 of CoF’s finest holding off an entire server, then yes kaineng was spawn camping

There was a lot more than 5 but even then the entire server on at that point of time in that area was 3-4 so GJ!

It is what it is. YB easily outnumbers kaineng and unless we have an organized push from a few guilds we usually do not even have the numbers to push in YB and take mroe then a single tower. Using the same numbers we can push GOM and get a couple towers and a keep.

I am also in this boat. I have seven level 80’s all between rank 74 – 127 and it really sucks having to earn not only the titles on all toons but the points to put into them. Why can’t the experience earned be account bound but the points we put into the toons be soulbound? I know Anet have devs clever enough to pull this off.

Did a head count in EB, GoM has 7 people all up defending against 2 zerg balls from both servers too scared to touch each other or even so much as flip each others camps.

Gotta say YB has incredible response times to camps being flipped. Attempted 4 man Golanta resulted in this photo ^.^

Had an epic 1v1 (war vs war) lasted about 15-20 minutes in EB just now before I go to work. Faith in Eternal Battlegrounds is restored.
Added him to friends list can’t wait till after work for some more!

Nice save on bay SF, got inside inner and BAM freaking zerg rolls through the front door and wiped us completely. Nice timing ^.^

All I saw was fail siege all over the field getting destroyed over and over again. If at first you fail, try the same thing again, I guess. What a wasted use of an army like that. I don’t think you could properly lay siege to a McDonalds drive thru to bust through those Golden Arches for a Big Mac.

I will happily come over to SF or GoM to provide commander training 101 for 120G to cover my transfer fee over and back. Hit me up.

We all do WvW, yes. There’s not many people comin up with fresh ideas on how to move the server forward though. Just lots of people are there to say they don’t like this or that.

People are always putting new ideas together or out there to be heard but not many listen. Hell, the amount of times I’ve seen spartan wipe for trying new things has been borderline hilarious, not at his fault tho, he pulls a tricky and half the zerg don’t listen but people are still trying new things all the time. I don’t tag anymore due to paying for upgrades, scouting, roaming n such but everyday I’m still trying new siege placement idea’s and I’m sure others are too.

Thankyou to this fella for the 15 minute fight we had in ogre camp, was a lot of fun. Shame a zerg came steam rolling through it but eh kitten happens in EB I guess

I’m actually sad that Zombieland left. We had a huge gold pot for players who grabbed screenshots of them staking specific members of [WvW]. We wanted to fight you guys so bad. RNG was not on our side.

What amazes me that GoM had the same problems HoD had when Zombieland was on our server. You don’t know how happy everyone was when they left our server.

-Constantly failed golem rushes
-Legendaries that were bought for members and weren’t earned
-Commander tags were bought for inexperienced players who never WvW
-Constant que for EB
-The egos were through the kitten roof

A guild that single handedly ruined World vs World for half a server. I hope they realize their mistakes after seeing the same complaints in this thread as we had.

Good luck in JQ though. You will have 0 effect on their server. You won’t ever WvW as a guild with the numbers you have.

As for GoM. I hope this wasn’t a devastating lost for you guys and hope you guys reconstruct what was the old days. We still look forward to fighting you but it won’t be as satisfying as we wanted. Although I do look forward to getting my revenge on styx…

I don’t know about weaker either, GoM is a lot stronger with tactics than it is from a qued map of level 3 players.

Welcome back to the old Gate of Madness.

With the notable exception of some other guilds that left after “don’t push-gate” and any others that were poached by ZL this morning.

If there are any ZL people still reading this thread, one thing confuses me: Why JQ? You guys are a huge guild that could queue EB pretty much by itself IIRC, wouldn’t the chance of you guys getting to run a guild group in JQ be effectively zero?

Yer not sure why the originals left too… We seemed to be doing extremely well before ZL brought the crap to the server. It’s great being told karma trains were to get more people into WvW but then why leave as soon as they get enough karma to get legendaries? They want a challenge, We get a challenge this match up, but instead of the DH match up where they PvE’d all week they skip servers? It’s hard to believe what they say when actions do another. We have and have had alot of people who fight for the PPT, use of tactics and generally fight for the server to become better. RISE and RH are amazing, so is HH and a few others too for always saving the day and from what I can see fighting for our server and not to thier own beneficial gain.

Well, now we know why GoM is in such a low tier with soo much coverage. They are so bad they never fight outside siege range. That is, their own siege range, and they always have tons of siege.

Yea the karma train was introduced to our server in EB and people were told in starting maps 1-15 fastest way to level was in WvW, You can’t exactly blame the level 2 players for sitting on siege or discredit a server for it.

For Power Necros I can see using two stun breakers like that, but if you run into large zergs, you should have a nice built party where a guardian can help be the front line to break up some of the stuns for the backline to do what we do best. If you have the right set up front line, mid line, backline everyone should do the rule just right so no one should get to much stun and need two of them. Now if it is a ice cream sandwich party. Than yeah maybe two would work but not so much with my well build necro.

Agree, however my guess is he runs in a unorganized zerg so just tries to stay alive while tagging as many people as possible for maximum loot.

Sadly a lot of people on all servers do that. Just try and stay alive in a zerg ball. I hope that he will find a nice build for staying alive. I wondering over all what points he has where. Maybe we can help him get stuff in order. / Server in line so we can see some zergs that know what they doing.

I stopped zergin on my guard cause of this ahaha… go to frontline hard with a hammer and GS, pop all the shouts, take all the damage to when death comes creeping up realize the group that was meant to follow are too busy killing a d/p thief they can’t catch. Props to those thieves tho, confusing the hell outta gommiebears

So where is a good place to roam this match up? I’m looking for 1v1’s or 1v2’s and so far in all I can find is a 1v1 that results in hiding in tower or winning a 1v1 and continuing my path to be steam rolled by 5-10. I’m tryin to get my ranger down pat a bit better.

I dunno bout that, I was flying my kite on thier outer walls just then as they capped the keep and as a ranger I posed no real threat to be ganged up on by about 7 people… I tried to pull out the kite again but the little bugger unequips if you get shot!
