Eh, I’ve left WvW for now, really can’t be bothered dealing with sore winners atm but from now I’ll be mainly sticking to EB side of WvW and providing them with my loot bags hehe

I’ve had that happen a few times on my main lol, the uplevel ranger I was on tonight is my 2nd ranger I’m getting to level 80, I love ranger a lot despite what people think about the class.

Also, if there are any rangers out there wanting a ranger vs ranger, feel free to hit me up. Always love a good ranger v ranger fight!

A lot of fun fights today on my uplevel ranger, downed a few level 80’s here and there in 1v1 situations (or my pet did anyway) but I really enjoy the way ebay has a tendency to /bow at me for atleast trying to fight compared to the 7 maybe 8 times groups of FA have spammed /laugh and /sit/sit/sit/sit…..

Lots of respect to Ebay for that.

Just had a great laugh at the 7 FA who ganked me on an uplvel followed by the thief laughing about it then dying to the vets.

Also VIS, you owe me a rez but if you try to rez me from an opposing team then that doesn’t count!

Thank you to everyone that replied, for now we are staying to see how things pan out but if it comes to transferring it looks like ppl in the guild are going to go separate ways to servers of personal choice or different games in general.

[CORE] is amazing and remember to yell at VIS for a rez if you are downed

I think and it’s only my opinion but transfer prices should be rewarded off server rank and not world population and to remove the WvW season prizes, also maybe add a 4th league.

Another idea: Maybe go back to 8 leagues but reset all the points, have a round robin and let servers fall into right leagues/rank then sort out a leagues system then? Yes, it will be painful for AR to fight JQ but at least it might only be 1 grueling week instead of 7 and have free transfers for a week leading up to this.. (keeping domino effect in mind – Guilds in stacked servers might say “hey I actually want to be able to play WvW when I want to, lets go to FC”, therefore maybe balancing out the WvW population among other servers) ….

Also: Please remove the living story.

So I made juggernaut for my war cause it’s OP…
Since finding out hammer wars getting epic nerf I moved on to another build to get ready for it…
After fighting hammer wars that use no other weapons other than hammer I’m very excited to see all of you go to hell. Even with stability that damage output is too much.

Been having some amazing fights especially at waterfall and the quarry, keep it up!

Good fights with SBI at SBI spawn in IOJ, decided to leave the duels seeing as the [Abys] charr necro wanted to keep poking at people in fights then retreat to defenders over and over

Really dissapointed in the [Shhh] Asura mesmer, you are a very good fighter but you avoided every 1v1 situation possible and only faught with a 2:1 ratio favoring you.

Go out and play and build up the confidence son!

Edit: Also, why is there a group of YB spawn camping the 3 IOJ in EB when they are losing their own 3rd?

Normally I would not mind this, but the LS creatures ARE KILLING YAKS. If at least their spawn points and aggro range was moved to not interfere with such a critical part of WvW, many of us who pay attention to these things would be deeply appreciative. “Oh well you should have people escorting yaks anyways.” Irrelevant. In no way should LS effect WvW operations.

The Dolyak veteran guards can’t even kill the living story mobs.

But I noticed if Anet did intend on spicing up WvW a bit more, then why favor the blue side in EB??? Hylek camp, people can set up siege in QL and kill that LS thing in the middle with ease while green has to try and do it out in the open while getting farmed by people on siege in QL lol

Stop saying ranger lol, just learn to trait and play the class properly, so many rangers using longbow and shortbow range weapons just cause his class has the word “range” in it.

But I’m gonna have to go with: All classes, Due to every class having a strong point somewhere in WvW and a weak point… Too many factors to base off with small group work, zerging, solo roaming or just yak slapping.

Good fights against SBI in SBI BL for the last hour, could handle the 5 v 8 a few times but once it was a constant 5 v 12-15 it became stale.

Shout out to the [AW] rangers aswell, would love to fight you guys 1v1 on my ranger but shout out to mainly credit you guys for always upgrading your towers/camps, hope your server values your work.

Every match is a complete blow out.
Lucky to have +100 PPT.
Living story is killing yaks with vet guards protecting it.
Guildies have started quitting the game.

Only good thing so far: I started to sPvP which is saving me money seeing as I don’t have to buy gems to support my siege habbit anymore, everything in sPvP is free and there is no Living Story being forced down my throat either.

5 minutes of being cannoned and mortared by anywhere from 3-7 people… There was only 3 of us, risk that 1 silver repair guys, match up is boring enough already.

edit: finally found a decent fight against 2 [KARN] I think, the guy with bear finisher rallied like 4 times off living story but still, finally a great fight!

Shout out to [NNK], you guys got nice team work, spawn camping the achievement point hunters but when actual PvP players down you guys, you got them shadow refuges strait up and team heals, nice team work.

Anet can’t even fix the party options in WvW or simple bugs or requests from the player base so highly doubt they can pull any of this off, most likely situation will be some sort of change to WvW where people have to buy gems to transfer again feeding Anet more money.

Eh, I’m a WvW player only, a commander who needs gold to buy siege and pay for upgrades… I usually put $50 a fortnight into this game for gems but now since Anet has decided to screw up WvW more they can officially kiss my money good bye…

I’m sure the sPvP people wouldn’t appreciate having to fight the LS when they are trying to cap a point, I don’t see why WvW players should have too.

When vets guarding the yaks can’t protect it then yes.

But I came back to say thank you to Anet if they did read this or not but the living story is gone from WvW now.

EB is a strange place atm, BP is spawn camping DB.. DB is spawn camping IOJ.. IOJ is happy to have a PPT higher than 30.

If you want to class it as a merc camp or new hostile then again it comes back to what Anet said themselves… You order 2 upgrades on a camp that can deal with “hostiles” but this new living story should not be able to kill the yaks from a camp with vet guards next to it.

I’m starting to think either I’ve built some sort of reputation on my ranger or DB and BP are a bunch of cowards.

In half an hour:
- 4 DB hid inside a camp from me and built a ballista.
- 3 BP engaged me then ran inside a tower
- (funniest one so far) 5 DB were running in my direction, honestly thought I was a dead man if I engaged but thought screw it, charged right at em and 4 of them ported leaving an uplevel mesmer alone…
- 2 BP watched me kill a yak and take a sentry.

Seriously though, do I have to zerg to fight anyone?

We have a side bet on who can get you to come to the forums to complain the most.

1. You don’t even know what my toons look like.
2. Those people I described are most likely achievement point hunters
3. someone from [EA] messaged me and was happy to fight without a zerg backing him up and turned out to be the best 1v1 I have had in a very long time (solid 5 minute fights)

great fights against the [EA] ranger then behind windmill, it’s always awsome to fight a fellow roaming ranger that doesn’t rely on the longbow/shortbow combo

Some even better fights against BP at briar and the camp.

been a while since I played my condition spirit/trap ranger but was good fun xD

6 more weeks of the most boring match ups to ever be faught, only good thing coming out of this is dragon brands ability to ignore red circles from superior arrowcarts

IoJ is in a rut atm… we spend more time defending what we have than capping things in eb (even then sometimes our zerg is just too small to do anything). I mean we kind of have to, there are lone periods of time where we just dont have commanders on.

Yeah. WvW can be fun, but not when Anet throws you against two big zerg servers. Opponents near our WvW pop levels for equitable fights would make it a hell of a lot more fun.

personally I’m having a blast being constantly outnumbered.

1: I’m learning to thief with no consequence to my bank

2: I’m learning to NOT CLICK with my new mouse (Razer Naga), this one though is a little frustrating with my heals before fighting then hand spasms pressing all buttons ahaha

Took me about a week to get use to my naga hex, but now I don’t even think about it. Muscle memory ftw! XD and to the above you seph.
We would have been perfectly fine, core and se wimped out for leagues last minute after saying they were staying. So now we are all left to clean up their mess, they pushed us to silver and then they leave.

Yes, we got you to silver league. Then silver league changed to include higher ranked servers. We were excited. Then it once again became a “come save bay CORE! God. Why didn’t you help us with defense? Do you even care ahout IoJ?”

We didn’t want that. I’m sorry if that’s tough to understand. For CORE to continue, we needed to move. That’s it.

Hate us all you want. But please don’t say we wimped out. We pushed hard and then the server died on us. It’s a two way street.

I can understand the reliance on CORE to do a lot but that comes with having the most dedicated WvW players of the server under 1 guild, not sure who grieved you guys though but any and all help from CORE was always amazing and SE/SIC leaving doesn’t mean the server dying
