For PvE i would like to see some new hard and complex dungeons which some amazing rewards for their difficulty
And for amazing rewards I mean new skins and something that would make those dungeons the most worthwhile way to make golds (if played with skill)
Maybe 2 difficulty, an easy one for casuals, good for farming tokens but less favorable for golds and an kittene, good for farming golds and with some unique skins (for example armor skins could be awarded with easy and hard mode tokens, weapons skins only with hard mode tokens).

I can’t join WvW without my staff elementarist becouse:
- Permaswiftness
- 25 abilities instead of 15
- Massive aoe damage and support with short cds
- 1200 range abilities
- Downed mist form save me if I’m downed near a gate
- hard to stop if running away
the only huge problem: sooo bad in small fights (1vs1-5vs5). Better switch fast to d/d if you see enemies and you are not in a big group.
WvW and above all WvW with my guild on TS
Guild wars’ PvE and sPvP are not enough engaging, this game for me would be dead in 6 months without WvW
I use this build since months and I’m very satisfied, I made it thinking about the best way to fight under/on the walls of towers and keeps while keeping a quite good resistence and support for zerg vs zerg fights

Yeah playing WvW with a good guild and TS on is the best way to never get bored

where can i find the new mingame Rytlock’s Critter Rampage?
I don’t like to play humans characters in MMO’s (I’m human everyday XD), so I excluded Humans and Norns. Asuras are too small, Charrs are too humpy and doesn’t fit well with elementarist imo.
Sylvari was the only good choise, but only becouse I could make them very different than an elf… i can’t stand elfs!!
the attunaments rotations make me choose the elementarist instead of other ranged professions.
The high survability, the large amount of aoe for wvw, the possibility of playing also at melee range, the mist form in downed state make me stay with it.
It’s a very good game…
…but you should give some “in world” reward from sPVP and make some adjustment at WvW. It’s necessary!
it’s true… i don’t know why, maybe becouse we have lost some wvw guilds some months ago!

I’m building a nice skin for my sylvari elementarist, i’ve almost finished my pve equip but i’ve a problem:
I’m looking for a skirt that looking like the one from Arah (light, male)

As you can see, is a skirt that surrounds the legs of the character, without “cuts” or visibile pants. I don’t care about the details, it’s just the shape!! And obviously, i don’t want a “leaf” skirt, in Sylvari or TA style.
I would buy the Arah’s one but it’s pretty hard, i’ve hardly taken the shoulders from Arah, and by now i don’t have enough time for farming 300 badges in a short time.
I’ve seen the skirt from COF, it’s pretty nice but not as i wanted.
I should looking at every questgiver karma seller, but i don’t have finished all the quests, it would be huge!!!
Did you know where i can find other skins like that???

What are you’re traits, I was thinking about starting staff build for dungeons, since most fights are becoming long ranged, I even saw zhaitan which looked like you had to have a staff.
My traits are in the link, but they are thinked for different fights, not just Dungeons.
I suggest to use staff in pve, it’s the best!

But remember, i’m asking just for Dungeons, i’ve yet another equip for wvw and spvp.

(the reason why I use this build is related to my WvW role)
Runes: 2 superior of the monk, 2 superior of the water, 2 major of the water
healing and boon duration (daphoenix style)
Sigil: of battle
3 might on attunament swap (10 sec cd)
Since i’ve started i always used a full berserker gear in DG, very squishy but also very powerful.
But now, i don’t know if it’s the stronger choise for an elementarist, becouse of the lack of condition damage.
I was wondering if i should put some condition damage to my gear, so i could empower abilities such FIRE 3, EARTH 2 and EARTH 5.
I often use this abilities becouse i must switch to earth for activate EARTH 3, the aura that gives me Fury (with Air I trait), and also for gaining protection or crippling mobs.
It would be a good choise?? i really don’t know, without any kind of addon or spreadsheet i’m not able to choose.
If i will choose to empower my condition damage, I could activate Fire V trait (30% cause burning on crit hit), i suppose it would be strong !!
But obviously, i will lose a bit of power becouse i should equip some Rampagers trinkets (+ precision/power/con.dmg)
As you know, burning is not the best condition, becouse it dosen’t stack, and the bleeding abilities aren’t to much.. (just 2)
My questions are:
1) should i empower my condition dmg, it will be stronger?
2) if yes, how much condition dmg should i have?

A couple of rather epic defenses at Briar on our own BL to finish off an evening of gently ambling around (for me anyway, WvW goes on of course). Really thought RoF had us on that second attempt. You guys pushed right the way into the lord room and there were only a handful of us left. I think I was rallying more than Sébastien Loeb.

in my opinion, the biggest problems are free transfers and nightcapping!!
But it’s still an amazing game!!!
I don’t know if this topic has been argued before, so I launch it.
I’m playing wvw since 3 matches and a half, and I noticed this situation: the most influent moment of the game is the night.
You could have on your server a lot of good players affictioned to wvw and the greatest commanders, but if it doesn’t have a strong night partecipation… it’s screwed!!
I think that this is a problem. The servers with the stronger presence of night guilds or (more probably) of “other continent” guilds will always win against a regular servers, in which late night players are just a really small percentage and, most important thing, casual. The “better night covered” servers will always will always collect an insane amount of points.
So, why wvw doesn’t stop by night?
It could stop from 2 a.m. GTM to 9 a.m. GTM.
I know what kind of answers i will read: “real wars never pause at night”, “life is unfair: it’s part of the game”, “I play only by night, and I wanna play wvw”, “this is part of the strategy, a good server should organize bla bla” and going on…
Stopping wvw by night would help to bring sense to points. It’s not necessary to explain it, it’s clear enough.
And if someone log in at 4 a.m., he/she can do something else, GW2 offers a lot of enterteinments. And if you log in only at late night, you are in the wrong server, choose another one from another continent list!!
Surely there’re also some less drastic solutions:
Keep open wvw but stop points
Keep open wvw but make invulnerable keeps and towers
keep open wvw but stop sieges building
etcc

The only issue is AG got everything green every morning .. so they getting some crazy points. And since they also upgrage everything during the night it takes significant ammount of time to take it back.

Yesterday night at 1 AM italian (midnight in UK) we had reconquer almost all our (rof) border. Now at 1 PM (12 AM in UK) we have a camp and a tower… in all the four maps!!!!

The engineer seems cool but it’s not magic, i don’t find it so attractive. But anyway thank you for your explanation, maybe i will use it as 2° pg.
So the main difference is: mesmer single target and more elusive, elementarist aoe and more direct.
Well, single target always works good in my experience, but also aoe plus cc it’s a good choise!

Hi guys! I’ve istalled GW2 and now i’m waiting the files download.
It’s a long wait, so i’m wondering… what kind of profession I will choose?
I was pretty attracted by the elementarist, i love ranged magic classes and the elementarist seemes pretty nice… and the stances thing seems cool.
But, i’m afraid to choose the worst profession for me. I mean, it’s not the weakest, but i’ve read around and the elementarist seems to be the most difficult and at the same time the most underpower.
I’ve played frost mage in wow wotlk and i don’t wont again to play a class that is powerful if you are extremely skilled and weak if you are a “normal skilled” player.
The mesmer seems less cool, all that purple stuffs… XD and it’s all clone based, really weird. But it’s still a ranged magic class and i’ve readed that it’s pretty strong in pvp and for sure is easier than the elementarist.
What do you think about the mesmer, do you consider it a funny profession or it’s boring?
