Stealth: Attacking consistently while totally 100% stealth….?
Please explain how this is balanced?
-Stealth should break(100% visible, not a slow fade in) when the stealth player does any action.
-Stealth players should have a chance to lose stealth when taking damage while stealth.
-Attacking a stealth player, should still display the damage in the area that the stealth player was hit in.

Whats the numbers we get with our greatsword heal trait.. i used it for about a week. and felt it was low i would do 1000 damage, and get 20heal from it. I use malice on my thief, and it seems to heal me for about 25%-50% of the damage i deal.

I am Sanctum of Rall, and i know my guild have done many many wonderful tricks to flip towers back to our control. It’s the simple oldiest trick in the book. After the enemy zerg bust down the door, rush in, kill the lord… the zerg mindset never looks around, they just instantly pour out to the next target. And with that, you end up leaving a group of stealth players, or even a single meser that cast his portal, just before exiting the keep/tower.
SoR is an eastern timezone server, when we are online, you are losing. When we log is when you finally end up cleaning the empty lakes out. good job!

@everyone, I have started to rebuild my gear set, and wow it is costly, my next purchase will be 6g for 3 divinity runes(painful).. I have gotten my toughness around 1500 now, without having to sacrifice much in power/presion/critdam.
In WvW i tend to run, with Staff/2hander… my playstyle leans towards mobility, while solo & grouped… movement speed is clutch for me(just like the old DAOC days)
@Marth, those warhammer days have burnt me out, when i quit war officially the moment they released patch 1.4, and removed all NPCs from the lake, and removed the option for players to actually hit the doors! ugh. Whats great about GW2, it seems a lot of the concepts and ideas i wanted in WAR, ended up in GW2. it’s amazing. Also, with all those theories i created back in the war beta days, i have started to develop a MMOrpg… why let all those ideas go to waste!

Also, yes, we that play guardians do have to play our class very very differently then most. My fingers have never moved so fast as a guardian then any other class ever.
The amount of actions/animations a thief does while in combat doesn’t compare to what a Guardians players hands are doing on the keyboard/mouse.
With that said… we still should have a much higher baseline of health, if a class is supposed to have such variety in play-style as the guardian. It should not be restricted into having to run protection builds, just to stay alive in a fight. That actually limits us overall on what we are supposed to do.
Now keep in mind, i love everything about the guardian, all our tools are amazing, our damage is exactly where our damage should be.
Our health is just not. A simple 4-5k health base at 80. would make this class right where it should be. A perfect middle ground all purpose class, with the tools needed to be either front line support, back line support, and burn baby burn.

@Chii, i understand that, but it could be something is wrong, and maybe Anet forgot to carry the one when they gave us our health. There are necros that have a 45k health build with certain specs. We can barely reach 20k. And thats with orbs, and with stack vital. Even the sPvP guardian at max gear is capped at around 19k.
@Alarox, yes we have those tools, but warriors have their own set of tools that do just the same, with 30k hitpoints on top of that.
@everyone, I had a power/vit/toughness build before, but felt i was wasting lots of points,. So went into this high power/crit/burn build.. my condition dam is at around 900 i think.
@Marth, that set looks costly.. but is a nice template for me to build towards when i work on my next set with a balanced toughness/power/crit build.

Wondering why my health is so low compared to all other classes in the game?
why do other classes which have less vitality then me, have more health then me?
I don’t want to do the damage of a warrior, or have the stealth of a thief, or have the range of a ranger, or the pets of a necro…
All i want is to have my vitality convert to health equally to the other players in the game.
Warriors are running around with 25-30k hitpoints. And have a few forms to become 100% immune to damage.
Guardians have half that. Running around with 15k hitpoints.. and having to use every tool in the book just to avoid all damage, and still try to play as a melee class.
Why give us melee weapons, and heavy armor, if we can’t sustain a hit in a melee fight? why not just give us range weapons(with actual range), and light rags?
I love playing my guardian, but have come to just embrace that stacking my gear with vitality, is useless.

Can we have an improved feeling of ownership for Guild Claimed Objectives.
Such as the NPCs having the [TAG] of the guild that owns it.
Under each NPCs name, having the GUILD NAME below it.
And perhaps on the mini map, on mouse over, it will say the name of the guild that owns that piece of land.

It should indeed slowly start to fade to black and white/black when a player dies… and forces a respawn at the waypoint.. after about 10 mins.
Keep in mind, my guild uses this as a way when the zerg rolls us at a tower, to just die, let a ninja stealth up and hide. and retake the tower when they leave.

orbs do seem a little bit much.
i would be ok with them giving one realm more POWER.
But also giving them more hitpoints? making the stronger already stronger.
Please adjust the system with the outmanned buff.
Give Orb of Powers buffs have +power / +xp + karma

The real problem here is invisible enemies. Give their algorithms time to match servers properly.

the 24 hr Cycle was a bit to short, but it kepted things fresh enough that if you were facing a very very high population server during offpeak/primetime hours, it wasn’t so bad, because you just had to deal with it for a 24 hours.
I could coup with the totally unbalanced population issues for 1 week. But 2 weeks of this type of WvW content, is not at all enjoyable.
My current server match up is.
-Sanctum of Rall (Active WvW population picsks up around 4pm Eastern-1am Eastern)
-Fort Aspendwood (very high population, during all hours of the day at night)
-Sorrows Furrance (very equal WvW population with my server)
After 1am eastern, Fort Aspendwood is still capped out in the WvW lake… for the rest of the week.
Not sure how we got paired up with them.

We only have 1 Mediation skill that has a 1 second cast timer.. yet we have a whole trait skill designed to make that one ability instant cast?

Can you please make this somewhat doable without having to bug it out… or to just keep tossing bodies at it and hope for the best.
either lesser the respawn on the mobs, or make them not all champians.. with only 1-3 champs….

Have you not been in any large scale fights? it takes a few moments for all the player models to load into the clipping range. If just the names loaded, it would allow the players to still know “oh crap, there are 100 people outside that tower.. don’t jump out” instead of.. whats all that lag? i don’t see anyone outside this tow….GLACH ack! i’m dead, what killed me? oh, there they are, the player models finally loaded" =)

Hi, i notice many times while in WvW.. i’m being attacked by invisible players, or i’m able to do AoE damage to invisible players.
And it’s not that they are invisible, they just didn’t load.
So i have a suggestion, which is not an original Idea, but it is what AEON did to handle the large population player model loading issues.
They just loaded the players Name. So you still had something to target and fight.
This could really help until some better solution is created.

Love the Game.
My guild are all former Warhammer Online Players(and before that, many from DAOC). And we have gotten accustomed to some of the finer mechanics on group/party formation that just made good logic sense. And are deeply surprised that GW2 have not taken full advantage of such systems.
Party System:
-It seems be broken for the most part, in the beta players were able to join groups from the guild roster. Now, not at all. Please have an icon near a players name in the guild roster that is currently in a group, so players can right click and join/invite on him. Also, please have it so that anywhere that players name is, you can right click join/invite on his name.
-Also, please have it, so you can kick/remove an offline player from your party by right clicking their name. Currently it you can’t, and need to reform the entire party.
Commander Features:
-Please have it so you can turn commander ICON on for GUILD ONLY or for SQUAD only. My guild like to run on our own, and having to many extra players following us around, tends to spoil many of our plans in the field.
-Also, please have it so that, everyone in the squads, icon appear the same color on the mini map, and you can tell their location on the mini map.
-Please make squads have a private option.
-Please Make 2 different Commander books. One that works in WvW purchased as a guild upgrade(a Rank that can be given to a guild member) or some form of RvR currency. The other that works in PvE purchased with gold(currently in the game). Seems a little backwards that someone that just farmed PvE all day, can get a commander book and direct the players poorly in WvW.. And they follow because of his blue icon.
Guild
-Would love if all guild members had the same color icon on the mini map(the tan/brown), and told location on the mini map. (But i can understand how that would defeat the purpose of the commander upgrade)
-Would love if there were more Chat options for guild chat, /officer chat
-Guild Tax. Allow guild leaders to set a Guild Tax of a % of the players earnings from PvE mobs.

People aren’t speed running dungeons because of gold, it’s because of them Tokens. Reduce the cost for the gear!

issues with guild system:
-can’t easily join partys from the guild roster.
-can’t easily tell with a visual who has a guild party
-can’t remove someone from the part when they log off
-can’t easily see where your fellow guild mates are on the mini-map/world map(would love to be able to see guild members as a different color DOT then group members.. perhaps a brown dot?)
-please allow warbands to be formed for more then 5 players, with all their dots showing up in blue.
-Guild Wars 2, honestly feels more like 5-man Wars.
