Most of our guilds are recruiting all zones, so yes NA is still good to go.
We’re pushing mostly for Oceanic solely because we lack some presence there, but I’m sure no one will turn you down.
You can check out paintrainchoo.com to apply to Choo, a primarily WvW guild, that is considering doing a dungeon run event everyonce in awhile to get gear. (We have members who already do it, but we plan on possibly making it some sort of weekly guild thing)

Well I went to Sanctum of Rall and it was all good for the last 2 days of the matchup. Then the current matchup started and we are severely out-manned. I was told two of the largest WvW guilds left.

Our team was basically being camped at the spawn, no leadership at all. So I’m going to be switching again, as being spawn camped is definitely NOT fun.

When do you jump on? and what Borderlands?

I haven’t been outmanned in a long time… unless i jump on too early in the day. During 7pm to midnight EST, we’re mostly full… Except for EB which most guilds tend to avoid these days.

Also what guilds left? I think you may have been misinformed.

RUN merged with us at Choo, and a few other guilds saw some mergers aswell. They all remained on SoR, but just joined into larger guilds.

You want to see what SoR is capable of? Come on tonight, find where Choo is running, and see for yourself what our NA crew can do.

As for your questions, yes, you will lose your upgrades. You will need to re-earn them.

The plus is, with 450 members, you should be able to get the Influence all back, but be sure to empty the guild bank before emptying as the guild bank is server dependent from what I understand.

Server tends to be pretty active on a regular basis, and WvW is very competitive.

Only queues tend to happen during reset only, but most other times its pretty non-existant or really short.

Turtles stopped being “meta” a long time ago in WvW because they are easy to break. It has recently come back in vogue for some reason, but I doubt it will last.

So in a 5v5 or 7v7. How do u break a turtle in an open field? Other than turtling yourself. Turtle vs turtle is boring.

Fears work very well on alot of turtles. Confusion also helps.

My Necro, with well of corruption turns all the boons of a Turtle into conditions which really helps break up the group as well. It’s also traited to be unblockable so it makes it even more effective.

Most of the matches are balanced in North American (too lazy to check Europe) this week to a reasonable extent. They’ll put in guesting as soon as they can and probably put a fee on transfers then. I don’t actually lose sleep over it.

Being in tier 7 colours my perception. Tiers 1, 2, and 6 look really close to me.

T2, SoR has been against BG on the regular. BG is on its way out, we know it, and we’ve foughtthem for 8 weeks now. We kinda want them out of the tier for some fresh blood. Things have been closer, but TC has proven to be a good opponent so they’ve put more pressure on SoR than we’re used to.

Loading screens are longer than our queues on Gunnars Hold.

We see up to 10 mins during primetime on most nights on SoR.

Queues get longer on reset or Saturday nights, NA primetime around reset. They jump up to 45 minutes to an hour if you don’t get in early.

If you are looking to another server to join I would recommend SoR. We have been able to keep up with BG even with their strong Oceanic coverage. Along with having the strongest NA presence out there. You are all welcome into our tight-knit community with open arms if you choose so.

During NA gaming time, we don’t have issues, its when we go to sleep where that score grows significantly.

Exactly. We do our work when we are playing during NA time. Only time we fall off a bit is when you guys come on while we sleep.

Since when have NA servers been about US primetime? I know it sounds weird but in reality it’s all about around the clock coverage. Fact of the matter is you guys get to PvDooring a lot as well during the NA primetime. Most of the people online during the NA primetime are in fact PST players, who log in at around 9pm EST when “you guys go to bed”. Not to mention we also keep our PPT lead a lot during your NA primetime.

Doesn’t NA Primetime, infact cover several time zones? PST, CST, EST and AST all fit within NA primetime, and very little PVDoor happens here. AST start’s the Primetime, followed by the EST folks, followed by the CST, and once again followed by the PST guys. It ends when PST numbers dwindle.

Our Coverage lacks when PST is asleep. This is usually when Oceanics, Asia, and Europe would fill in the gap, and many North American Servers do infact lack this coverage. This is what most people refer to when we talk about going to sleep and losing ground. It also isn’t exactly nightcapping, more like early morning capping, as most of the action happens up to about Noon PST where the coverage for us lacks.

SBI should fit in perfectly fine in T2, as bot SoR and TC have lacking coverage during these times. We got our coverage throughout each time zone within our continent, but our numbers dwindle at other times.

Kinda bummed they moved this page from the W3(WvWvW) section. It’s not guilds we are advertising for, it’s for our Sanctum of Rall server…specifically for W3. Since there is no “server recruitment section” I figured the W3 page was the best spot for it. Especially since this is all for W3.

So what I’m saying is I’m going to wait 24hrs from the time I made thread to make final decision, gives time to see all my options. Which ever I join I plan to stay in till the death of Gw2 lol. We’re recruiting on Sanctum of Rall, and we have round the clock playerbase so you will never be hard pressed to find someone to game with.

I should add that we are primarily a WvW guild, but our members do run PVE often (with one member in particular who is pro at dungeon running) and we do have a weekly PVE guild event we run.

I like how EBG is such a river of blood and repair bills, that no one ever talks about it or posts any videos.

I honestly haven’t spent much time in there for the longest time.

We jumped in as a guild on Friday I believe for a grand total of 10 minutes, capped our keep, then jumped back out. That was all the exposure I’ve had to it for about a solid month.

Well we on TC have this gossip running around that SoR is helping out BG so they can leave the Tier, but well, rumors are just that, rumors, just like A**holes. Everyone has one.

I’m sure some rallians are focusing TC more simply because they are sick of black gate but most sor on your bl are probably only there because hills and lake are like 100 times better than briar/bay.

We dislike Bay, its a pain to defend unlike Hills, which has the high ground. Bay gets trebbed from Garrison too easily.

We did lockdown reset. Sor was ticking at less then 130 ppt for hours. Pretty easy to do. Keep tw locked down in bg bl defending bay for hours while we take your stuff elsewhere. We had your garrison in sor bl and your keep in ebg before oceanic even started. It was so bad the cries of 2v1 started immediately.

We only had 25 people in EBG…. ofcourse you had our keep. No one was there for 2 hours. We were able to move the entirety of Choo into there, grab the keep back, and jump back to TC with no queues… that was like 50 players in and out completely uncontested.

This Friday felt like half of SoR just didnt feel like showing up to me.

Other than us not putting up a fight in resent weeks are we done as wvw server? looking at the ranks we will kiss tier 1 goodbye in few weeks here. seems like people stooped doing wvw on our server. it bugs we worked hard to get to tier 1 and i kind of want to stay there

I think moving down 1 tier wont be the end, it will depend on how well you do against us in T2 before you should be considering calling it a quits really. If worse comes to worse you guys could always jump to us in SoR and help us aim for T1 :p

Although not strictly an Oceanic guild, we have plenty of players you could join up with that play at all times of day. (some of our Commanders are Aussie)

We’re very competitive in WvW and we have members who run dungeons on the regular (one of which is basically our dungeon specialist)
