Basicly a way to whisper all follower list at once (it could use a different color than whispers to show it is a broadcast) with a long cooldown like 1 hour or more.

This would help a lot for dungeons where if you are good people usually add you – for commanders doing farm spots etc.

Reason i suggest follower list rather than friendlist is that follower list broadcasting cannot be abused. As in WE choose who to follow but we cannot choose who adds us as friends without blocking them. So if anyone broadcast random kitten just delete them from your own friendlist and it is gone.

Would this be a good thing to implent? Would it be too much work for a little quality of life? Any opinions are welcome

I have 2 accounts and i send my main account more than 500g per week EVERY week. This is stupid really. The limit should be more than 500g in a game where you can make 100g per day easily by farming.

Hey Cheese. What i meant was that i crash no matter what after i log-in to game but.. example: I farm silverwastes a lot and usually after a few hours i forget this bug and leave party to taxi or something and i almost never get a crash by then.

So i was trying to imply that while i play the game SOMETHING fixes this so that i can get unpartied without crashes. IF i relog afterwards i’ll crash again till hours later.

Omg good to know it is not just me. It seems to be ALWAYS there when i log-in. And it is ok to leave parties after a few hours. Or maybe after a few map changes? I dont know what fixes it but something makes it ok to leave parties after i play for sometime.

This is the most annoying bug and repair does not fix it.

Ive guested on vizunah to gather today – and my 2nd guesting was on ring of fire. After going in an instance with people from SFR my guest pass on vizunah is moved to SFR instead.

Is this a temporary bug if not it can be bothersome.

I’m fairly sure you cannot get laurels back but they may mail you another amulet of your choice that WOULD BE a use to you.

From personal experince i bought and equipped an amulet on wrong char. They were kind enough to send me a new one in mail to be equipped on any char i want.. but these cases are handled per-case scenario so just cause they did that for me won’t mean they do it for all.

Last alpha boss doesn’t spawn essences after dying and instance cannot be finished. Tried 2 times in a row and both times this happens – other people in my list finished it so this is not a 100% thing. Still i’d avoid doing it till it is fixed.

Well i have amd phenom II x6 and i have an HD 3870 – which is 1 year newer than yours so also VERY old.

On lowest settings i get 30 fps average unless it is graphic card heavy so yes you could probably get 30 fps on medium/gpu heavy places if you bought a nice gpu. But keep in mind it may consume more power than this as well.

About ram: I really suggest you drop XP. It is not supported anymore. ram is cheap

They will NEVER.EVER. send you a mail to prevent a shutdown on your account. Easy as that. Never. If they shut your pc down due to security measures you’ll have to contact them when you see you can’t login. And so on.

These mails are kinda obvious and no need to be afraid of them simply delete them and mark as junk.

You need to forward: 80 – 443 – 6112 – 6600 ports.

To test them use pfportchecker (google exactly that) program. It is made by portforward.com 100% Trustable and legit – but check out scans and reviews if you’d like.

Before you use the program make sure the ports are NOT in use otherwise the program cannot test them.

About DC problems i got no clue.

Your pc specs are really low to get i’d suggest getting new cpu/ram/gpu which would cost you around around 600 usd US price. <- this price is for the sweet price/performance points and won’t get you a beast that lasts for years on high settings but will be okey for 3 years.

only have 5 bucks of money option: try to overclock your cpu a bit – get at least 2gb more rams (i’d suggest 6gb in total thou.) ram is cheap. About GPU there is not much you can do that is one historical gpu but you can get a gpu only for gw2 second hand real cheap if you look around.

First of all accounts never get suspended for no reason. The reason may be wrong – but it is there. Now that is clear i think you should only type here if you make a ticket and don’t get a response for 3 days.

Has been asked many times and the answer is always the same by Anet:

1) They’ll never approve a 3rd party program.

2) They allow 3rd party programs AS LONG AS you do NOT gain an advantage in-game. Programs can sometimes contain codes that work as cheats without the user noticing which would also go to a ban even if you are not aware nor gaining a direct advantage by it.

So what does this tell you? Yes you can use that combat mode but still it is not a 100% green area. You MOST PROBABLY will never get banned for using it to change some of your UI but you’ll never get a we approve the use of X program. – Unless they change their policy on it.

I think what that means is more like anything that was put on the trading post by you – such as items for sale or money bids to buy items – cannot be restored.

So: If you had 200g bid on the TP for X item you’ll lose that. If you had 250 silk cloth waiting to be bought on TP – you’ll also lose those.

At least this is how i know it works – take my words with caution as i am no game dev.

Hey i am just typing as i see you typed this 15 hours ago – submit a ticket about it if you have not. Forums are good to hope a faster answer but you should not hesitate to make a ticket there is no downside but upside is you’ll get your ticket answered 100%.

Here i can see all of my old and new tickets related to NCSOFT games. Maybe i somehow managed to use the same log-in for both games (mail address) therefor i can see both? Dunno anyway – i asked simply because i’d like to keep the old Aion tickets i have. Do you think those are going to be destroyed in progress as well?

Mercury is actually very dead on. You should take a good look at the End User Agreement. It does say they can terminate an account at their own discretion, and you did agree too this in order to play the game. As far as you attempting to get a refund, there is something about too in the agreement you should take a look at.

it is going a bit out of topic but i suggest you google some eula included cases over the globe. You’ll see it can be counted invalid on certain parts. Google will help you more It depends how good your lawyer is and the decision of the court.

Anyway i am playing the wait game now. I sent them a more detailed update on the ticket after i calmed myself down. We’ll see!

Hmm.. but she* sent me gold for months really.. i only got banned 5 mins after i sent her the half of the amount we made. I think the big sum is the problem..but again it would be automated flag as they can see our talks in chat logs about how we plan on saving gold etc.

Yeh but my post had 2 points: 1) This is so close to automated ban – that even if there was a person involved the action itself is automated. Which they refuse to admit. 2) That i have to wait 3 days or so even if it is a ban by their side on me due to sending gold via in-game mail.

Account terminated for engaging with gold or item sales for real-world money, which is a blablabla. – 5 minutes after i send my girlfriend gold via in game mail. The same person that sends me her gold everyday so i save up for her and i play with her basicly all day everyday.

If this is not an automated ban then you must have really really low iq people working. I know this sounds harsh but i just want you to admit you are automaticly banning people. And if it was actually really a person that looked * oh this guy sent over 1k gold to this person must be a sale* without even checking same people play with eachother all day and send gold to eachother every kitten day then you should fire them. Easy as that.

Already made a ticket for it. Now i have to wait till your support see it and check it slowly and unban me.

Btw 2k ecto for 1 person is nothing. I’ve had 500 ectos saved like a week ago i sold them all.. it doesnt mean they farm it in a day.

What jon says is this: When you go to a portal to USE it (F button by default) and if you have an obstacle between YOU and the portal entry you are trying to USE – you won’t be able to use it.

It still works the same apart from that. So if you have a wall between you and a portal entry (it doesnt matter where the portal starts or ends or it does not matter how many obstacles there are on the way.) you wont be able to use it.

There is no such thing as no bugs in gaming. Even after YEARS of patching.

Locate your Gw2.exe file.
Right-click on the file and select Create shortcut.
Rename this new shortcut to Guild Wars 2 Repair.
Right-click on Guild Wars 2 Repair and select Properties.
Locate the Target line and add -repair to the end.
Example: “C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\gw2.exe” -repair
Click OK.

Taken from faq. – after this whenever you start this shortcut it’ll repair (check for corrupt files and redownload them) so don’t use this shortcut as your main game opener.

For some time now.. at random moments my in-game whispers will stop working. It goes like this:

If i try to whisper anyone (/w nickname or right click their name in guild/friend list or chat etc.) it wont put up the whisper thing in chat.. nothing happens.

If anyone whispers me i CAN whisper them back.

After a period of time all of the failed whispers that i tried will be typed without me touching the keyboard.

Example: I type /w tyu hahah and notice i cant whisper. I test it to /w tyu2 and see chat window doesnt change meanwhile tyu3 whispers me and i can whisper tyu3 from that moment on with no problem. After 20 mins or so i’ll suddenly whisper tyu hahah then on my chat it’ll be whisper tyu2: (waiting to type).

Got 30 tokens to finish an instance – i only logged in to do that path so no other was made in 24 hours even.

I joined a group at last boss in TA – 30 token – next run gave me 20 tokens on same path.

Also possible that there can be ‘solo’ instances of the current ones..with same mentality. Dungeon is balanced to solo playing (still mobs/bosses do more dps than ‘normal solo’ stuff) and it gives increased loot.. you fail you get kicked – you can’t finish it in a good time? Well it is not effective then!

I mean it can be anythin along these lines, it is just to have a better alternative than what we currently have.

Best farm methods are TOO easy.

Ha! totally agree on that haviz, i don’t even farm cof since it is not even that good.. but if i have to farm with a pug i’ll go cof over any other place..so easy even my cat can do it.

btw it is not just about making it faster but easier at same time. Like 1st boss lives longer than 10 seconds you get the add + the boss actually does some nice damage. 4x warr 1x mesmer groups will see people get downed after 15 secs or so.

I dont get why is this a problem. We are playing a game that leveling a char takes a few hours and gold (not 24 hours i promise.) ALMOST every game will have a meta that some classes are better at some stuff. This meta can change by nerfs and buffs but trust me groups will always be like this.

Just level a warrior and be done with it. When they change the meta.. get the next best thing. That is how farming is done. If you expect to do everything on 1 class, you can’t expect people be okey with that. On another perceptive:

Indeed it can be other dungeons or a new one why i gave fractal example was because i like the idea of fractal.. there could be only fractals in this game and 100+ options in it and it’d be satisficating plus it already has a level option when you enter etc.

I just feel gw2 needs something like this. I dont mind regular farm but come on nobody LIKES to farm something that requires so lil effort over and over. With challenge it’d be more interesting to farm..maybe i’d stop alt tabbing =_=

I just wonder if the player-base would like something such as:

Hard mode fractals (like..really hard.) – pay gold (or gem) to enter – if you die you get kicked out – increased drop on gold/items. kind of thing it also could have some time limits and such things. (Max time 15 minutes every fractal clean up adds 10 more so you will be out eventually etc.)

I ask because there was a similar kind of farm in gw1 and to be honest it’s a nice addition to farming if you are not into braindead event/easy dungeon farms.

It is just an idea.. could be a bad one..or good one i just wonder what you guys think about it? Personally i wish i could make a good party and farm something like this instead of all the easy as hell farms.

TL;DR: Time = Gold farms are okey but would you like a High Skill (group-wise) = Gold kind of farm as well?

I cant log-in. Can open the offical forums (obviously) and any other website also BUT for example the pictures on facebook will not load up. So i believe there is something wrong on my end i just cant figure out what. How can i fix this problem?

This happens often when i open my pc for first time and i have to wait like 30-45 minutes to log-in gw2.

Hey my brother recently stopped playing the game waiting for the patch – meanwhile i still play mostly farm and i do not own a 80 mesmer while he does – so whenever we need a mesmer i log on his account and do whatever – send the profit to my account. I do this almost everyday. (Note that i send the profit – all of his items/gold sits in his bank.)

We live in same house as well. So my question is will arenanet do any damage to his account because of this? I ask cause i keep sending gold and stuff between accounts.

I did ask to support which gave me a long * sharing is bad* reply.

No, the fact that they had full servers and increased the pop cap mean that they are confident. The call for merge is usually when a few server get full while others are deserted – which has never been the case in GW2. A good example would be SWTOR.

i am 100% sure randall was dead when we reached lupicus. It then teleport on top of us thou making no changes on boss. Sadly i do not remember any other detail but it is a common bug so if you asked, for instance in reddit i’m sure you’d get the info you need.

As for simin, is this tactic legit or a bug? – Put simin 50% – put all but 1 sparks in – wait simin to reset – put simin 50% – put in 1 spark which counts as the last spark because you put others before. – nuke simin down.
Also could you look at the last boss (shard going enemy) too? it is almost same as this bug. The event kill risen around shard does not go away after killing them.
