I have 2 comments on all this topics:

1. A-net is deffinetly improving on the RNG boxes: First the Fused weapons, only avaible trough BL-chests. The next one were the Soutshun Weapons, avaible trough Rare drop and Gem Store. Finally Dragon Festival, Gem Store and rare drop from a very common drop.

2. Do these boxes really matter? You don’t HAVE to buy them, they are only skins. I don’t buy them, but the people who do buy them give me free content updates.
+ This is very harmless, what if we all stop buying them and Nexon decides, we don’t make enough monies let’s put OP weapons in the store!

Fiery GS is pretty useful in WvW, the tornado can be usefull in certain WvW/sPvP areas, and the elemental is a nice skill aswell

Eles have the best elites in the game

I think they will remove it, no source, but makes sence

where is this cave? do potent venom sacks drop in lvl 10-25zones?

necros are best healers

in GW it was possible for loot to assign to your mini, wich meant less drops actually

you can visit him right outside divinitys reach, he is working at the dam.

Dunno I just want some faction grinding, loved it in GW, give the factions some special vendors at certain lvl’s(armor/weps/consumbles/dungeons/…)

nah it’s pretty balanced, war can get swiftness trough banners/signets/warhorn, engi also has tons of swiftness,

thiefs only have some traits and combo finishers that give them swiftness

I think the most important thing about this post is that they know which problems there are in WvW. I like the idea of adding some weekly rules to stirr things up

A possible idea maybe: every player turns into a quaggun and has one skill called FOO, does 2000 dmg to yourself

the bomb trap1-shotted my thief, but on my warrior it just took70% or so

Hitting a (forgot how it’s called) bunny or something like that, while it doesn’t put you in combat, it does count as a hit and gives you the 20 sec cd

Karma and BoH are the 2 things we get, why not use them, I have alot of people in my guild working kitten there gift of battle, I have it+ a few extra stacks,

for WvW players using BoH and karma to get Ascended gear is pretty easy, for a PvE player it would be pretty hard.

For A WvW player it would be the same as a PvE player, but harder for the PvE player.

yeah GuildHalls were pretty fun in GW

The first map goes way back, before the betas, before we knew anything of WvW, the second map doesn’t really look that good, to confussing, might be something else.

I agree on /show build, like in GW, where you could save/ping builds, but I don’t like the /inspect idea

Meh, I don’t agree, a new thing to farm for, I like GW2 how it is, I didn’t like when they released ascended gear, and adding these enchantments is just adding a new gear tier.

Just a thought of mine, if I see Tentacles I think, not only about Japan, but also about Bubbles(somehow I have the feeling we heard something about the DSD minions having tentacles) The Karkas didn’t have tentacles before, but now all the animals got super angry and get tentacles.

this seems like DSD corruption; IDK about the plants, though. I thought Modremoth corruption first, but that seems far fetched. Maybe the plants get corrupted first: the corruption comes from underneath the island, the island is new

couldn’t the stirrings of the DSD or one of his champions bring the island up with him still underneath corrupting everything on it

it could be, some consortium Asura works with the inquest, looking for more DSD corruption to put in zone blue, he finds creatures running away from the DSD, he finds a plant who has DSD corruption, he experiments with it, he makes Southsun in to a resort/refugee camp to see what the corruption does on higher races, hence the Grawl not allowed on southsun, they didn’t fit in the experiment. Folks get corrupted, start fighting with eachother, wildlife get’s corrupted aswell and grow tentacles,….

just some thoughts

Nah most games work better with Mouse/keyboard (except 3d fighting games/openworld games like GTA/Racing games/3d platformers)

but if you like it for PvE, why not?

The small ones: Burst them down as full zerker before they do there attack, otherwise you have enough dodges/dancing daggers to evade all the attacks, I do double Dancing Daggers to evade most attacks

The vets I just ignore with infiltrators arrow/stealth/signet of shadows

It would make sense Rox, Braham and all the next characters will turn into a group of adventurerers with common goals, 1 of each race, like DE, but DE is PersonalStory and the other group will be Living Story, as Living Story and PS are gonig to be seperated. A-net always said LS could be played where ever in the PS you are.

It gives the abillity to bond with the characters

I’d love them to, instead of making new stories, eloberate more on existing stories: White Mental/mursaat, Modremoth, Palawa Joko, Bloodstones, Human Gods, Norn Spirits, The Mists,…

but yeah fixing the temple would be cool, or in iron marches where you are besieging the wall, after a few years the wall dissapears!

I think GW1 was a place where magic was used alot, the ED still slept, the Human Gods still had a presence…

+ The most important factor

The technologie wasn’t evolved enough. We are getting at the point where Technologie get’s more powerful than magic, as magic always stays as powerful, but Technologie keeps evolving (a mage might get more powerful over the year, but when he dies, his knowlege might partialy carry over but his skill is lost, while technologie keeps evolving)

I like all of them, the one I like the least is ‘The Grove’

‘Ebonhawke’ is a cool city aswell, I like DE can happen in the city, if they release a new X-pack, cities should be able to be (re)taken

seeying how fast they could pump out quality content in GW(while Factions was smaller then proph, it was as fun) And now they have alot bigger team/more recourses.

I can see them launching a X-pack in nov/dec, announce it + event at birthday at the end of august and launch 2-3 months later, why not? the release date of GW2 was only given 2 months before release

Doing the dragons if they are up, it gives you atleast 1 rare a dragon, and I heard the daily chest has a higher chance on a precursor drop than most chests

I would say Necro, they can also be very supportive in Dungeons, I have a guildie and his support necro has the strongest heals I ever saw.

Engis are fun to play, but I don’t rly like them in sPvP/WvW

Mesmers are really usefull in WvW aswell, they are awesome in: Dung, WvW, sPvP, not so much in general PvE/Lvl’ing though

The 3d modeling kit is prob 3th party, I suggested something in the same lines a few days ago(link in my sig)

There was a bear shrine somewhere and when I kneeled infront of it, it spawned a event where you had to fight something, next time I tried it, it didn’t happen, though

Had 2 drop the first 2 days aswell, had a third drop last week

Actually the Heroes/henchies in GW did cost money, you share loot/gold with them.

Besides that, while the idea is nice, this could make alot of content easier, a party of 5 would now change to a party of 10, add the other summoning items(fire ele,ogre pets,…) and it makes the general pve content really easy. I don’t think the heroes/hench system works in a openworld game, with the dynamic content GW2 has

I was playing some Team Fortress 2 again lately and thought:”hey, A-net already said they got some PvP-ideas from TF2, why not use some more?”

Tell me more! (Phase 1)
I am not talking about a First-person view, but about being more open to the mod crowd. There are artist/programmers playing this game with the skills to create skins for weapons, gear, town-clothes or even minis and a lot of people are waiting to see more skins. Why not let them send these skins in and use them, doesn’t it make the design of items a lot easier?

A mmorpg is building a community (Phase 2)
Make a website where people can vote on their favorite skins, give away prices to the players, for example give the player who created the item a special effect on his designed skin (sparkle/Glow/hearts/baby quaggans)

And what on map designing? (phase 3)
Map designing is a lot harder to do, I am talking PvP, but if the community made skin idea works out nicely, A-net may to release some Map-build tool (think ‘Hammer’)

Some other crazy ideas? (Phase 4)
Well yes, I don’t know how A-net makes there Dynamic events, but if it’s some easy tool to make the generic Escort, defend/attack, gather events, why not let the community eventually help you with these to?

While Phase 4 and maybe even 3 are most-likely never going to happen, I believe phase 1 and later phase 2 can help A-net in multiple ways: Easier content, A dedicated community of modders, A sense of A-net listening (more) to there playerbase,…

-Lore breaking, offensive items (looking at you Saints-row) shall not be accepted

If anyone has any remarks/ideas, I am open for your thoughts
