is it as big as botting or cursing at someone? no, so a 72 hr/perma-ban is a little to much, but when they have to many warnings, yeah why not a 24 hours ban or something

WvW is about having fun and defending your server, not about epic rewards, most of the game was supposed to be like this.

Really because whenever I go to WvW it’s just a giant zergfest for the most rewards possible. No one actually plays the game.

1.Join TS3, mumble, raidcall, whatever
2.Join SoR (that’s the only server I have experience with, and we have a lot of fun)

Playing on your own in a zerg is boring, but playing with the zerg, by using voice-chat makes it all more interesting/fun

Add a reason to report somebody: Leeching, with the new daily activity, it’s starting to get annoying if 2 guys in your team are just afk’ing to get their daily, same problem in dragonbash, general sPvP, etc.

Well I still have lagspikes or I rubberband, and WvW is still a mess, if you have a beast computer you might be able to compansate for your bad internet connection.

the higher tiers actually have such groups, you just have a higher risk running into a big zerg, which makes it all more exciting and by capping the supply camps and tapping keeps, you can annoy the other server/help your own a lot, I haven’t been on lower tiers than T1/T2 (not really a server hopper) but that’s my experience, SoR doesn’t have many havoc squads imo, if you want to join with some friends you are always welcome!

I used to have it a few months ago, but now it’s better, I only get a long one if it’s the first time of the day I log on that charcter

I play both and this is what I do with them:

General PvE/Farming/Living Story: Thief, High mobility and stealth is great for general PvE and Living Story, your short-bow is a great AoE weapon for farming.

Dungeons: Warior: High DPS and survivability, easier to find group

sPvP: Thief; Wariors can be viable, but thiefs are a lot stronger, with a higher burst and stealth

WvW: Warior, thiefs are great roamers, but I am more of a zerg person, a coördinated zerg, ofc, those you find in the higher tiered servers. go full PTV (as a heavy armor wearer, the pieces can be bought from Melandru and Grenth, except the helmet)

Take a hammer and sword/Warhorn, my utlities are berserker stance, balanced stance and endure pain, but you can use different once. (but balanced stance is a must). you are in the head of the zerg and knock down as much people as possible(use your F1 ability!)

Sword/warhorn is great for moving in the zerg, your number 5 skill is a blast finisher, so that’s usefull for mighting up/ healing/ swifftness, your number 2 skill is a leap, great for chasing and cathing up.

I originally had the Mursaat/White Mantle as one of the factions. They’re certainly a stronger pick than something like bandits or pirates, but there’s a lot of factors that go into these sorts of things. Creating a new army never before seen is pretty complex and takes a lot of time and iteration. Not only is there a large design cost for it, but art has to create a brand new environment, new armor, new character models, new weapons, and those are not simple tasks either. I played a ton of GW1, so I know their significance. I also knew how much time I had to do this, what my asset request bank was, and knew that I couldn’t do the Mursaat justice… especially with such a small area.
If I’m gonna do Mursaat and White Mantle, I (as a hardcore GW1 player) would want it to be epic and grand. We haven’t ..forgotten.. about them, I just have higher expectations for them than what I was capable of putting out in this release.

…and yes I’m proud of that reference.

For this release we stuck to enemies that can actually be seen fighting humans throughout the game. Ironically enough, that logic makes Flame Legion the weakest association. Of course, we could have included Separatists or Charr Renegades, but Queen Jennah would probably avoid any sort current sensitive foreign relation issues.

I understand, creating a entire new foe, which is also not just a skale, but needs a lot of mechanics is pretty hard, especially just for temporary content.

It is about their current and/or recent enemies though. Not distant and rather unknown (in the game world) ones. The Flame Legion actually IS one of the enemies you doface there.

Prophecies had 2 major enemies, Charr (Later we knew it was the flame legion) and the Mursaat/White Mantle, (And I can see Titans/undead being the third faction, but they were less seen)

I am somewhat happy the Abaddon fractal isn’t chosen, now the Gods are still this legendary, ancient power.

6 areas in the crowns pavilions, big enemies from the Humans. I get most of them, but Ogres?

idk, but if I think of struggles humanity had to face, it would be the Mursaat? You might say: “but the mursaat were the human enemies in GW1, not now!” what about the Flame Legion? It are the Charr who destroyed Ascalon!(also a GW1 nemesis)

and the destroyers, the main foe in Guild Wars: Eye of the North

Well you could say, bandits work for white mantle, who worship the Mursaat, but that’s a stretch.

I do not fully agree with the choice and Mursaat could have ome back easily with the mesmerized Clockwork people.

Crafting: no, not only wouldn’t you be able to craft lvl, all craft items are acc bound or Soulbound on use, so I see no problems

While it depends on wich time of the day and if the competion doesn’t always run away
I can easily gain 2-4 g a hour, even more if I play a ele in WvW, I find it more fun than running CoF all the time

Call me weird, but going after my gift of beetletun I found that CM P2 is pretty fast aswell, if get a group who is experienced enough.

Asura wouldn’t want to do it, becuase it distracts them from experiments, IF they finnaly find enough asura and build a massive golem army, it wouldn’t take long before they start fighting themselfs and so they can be stopped easily by the Pact, Humans, Charr, Norn, Sylvari, other Asura…

The problem is: Asura’s hate everybody, they are too egocentric to take over the world

GW1 Endgame: PvP

later: you know, farming the same places over and over to get LEGENDARY armor, like obsidian.

GW2 End game: sPvP, WvW

on the side: Living Story, Farming for Legendaries, guildmissions, fotm

Guildwars Had more things to do @ the end of the game, but only after 2 campaigns and 1 X-pack

You don’t need Ascended gear in WvW, it barely gives a stat increase, the only reason for getting ascended gear is FotM!

I thought it was because gw2pvp is based around 5v5.

I actually thought of this aswell, Warriors could use a staff as a fighting stick, Rangers could use a focus to call in animal allies, A trident could be used to slap people

You could also make them able to wield all weapons, but ineffectivly, like a elementalist can shoot some random arrows with a bow, but it does low dmg and has a chance to miss if far away, is this a usefull weapon? no, but it’s a nice extra.

It doesn’t matter if you had the top score at the time the race finished. First place awards 175 points total. Some people don’t want to wait around for everyone else to finish so after they get their reward they leave and enter a new race instead of waiting the 1-4 min it can take for every other racer to finish.

Though it is odd that the max score only said 165 instead of 175. I’ve only done it 25 times and I haven’t seen someone in first leave first hand so I don’t know if it drops back down or not.

Well I was first but someone left before anyone finished first, so the points I got was 165,wich was total. I think that’s why

Someone crossed the finish line before you and left the race, which makes your name appear as top player in the credits at the end, but doesn’t actually count you as first. The score for crossing first is 175, not 165. You can tell 145 and 95 are also missing from the credits, which means those players also left the race instance before the race itself was done.

Happened to me before when I crossed second, too.

But you can see I was first as I have the highest amount of points, because the total wasn’t 175 it was 165

It even said You placed first! and no it wasn’t a practive run, I got a screenie, I will upload it

I got 1st in Sanctum sprint (on score board I was the top player, I got there first)

but didn’t get the achievement

For those things I geust over to Tarnished Coast(US) and it also has a decent WvW community

For EU, you should try Piken Square, it’s the unofficial RP-server so there will be a lot of PvE’rs
