Just some yes or no questions, no need to go in depth (you always can of course)
Is Evennia a dropped storyline?
Is there any Lore written about the humans homeworld?
Can you confirm the existence of the now dead spider god?
Is there going to be progress on the Charr/Human treaty?
Is Rotscale a minion from Zaithen?
Is Rotscale dead (well dead dead)? You never HAD to kill him in any quests.
Btw thanks for doing this.
We got them the very first patch, nothing since, are they still worked on? Can we get their secrets if not?
Makes me think of those Zaishen in LA, what were they doing there? Are they still in LA post-Scarlet?
What makes me think of them is that they actively got updated shortly after launch.
For instance, they build that wall ( and some trebuchets?) south west of Fort Marriner.
We all want to see progress in Orr, but we don’t want old Orr to be instanced and (un)death and lose so much content.
Well, why not instance Cleansed Orr, and keep Corrupted Orr as a regular map.
It makes more sense really:
1. they can progress it more easily (as the story progresses, more green grows, more buildings are build).
2. Old Orr is about the invasion and NEEDS events with a lot of people to tell the story, while New Orr would be almost as safe as a city.
3. All new Players experience Orr first like it used to be, and get access to New Orr Later on, so you don’t get these weird anachronisms like in LA.
Evon Gnashblade support button, show your support for the one true commodore!
Charr skin rug, show your Ascalonian pride!
Destiny’s Edge Action Figures, now with a LED lid fiery dragon sword and Logan’s special “running-away” feature.
Toilet in shape of a mystic forge.
I don’t know if it has been asked before,
Will we ever see the story of the final part of Beyond? I lost all my hope in seeing it finished in game, but it was the best story a-net pushed out so far and I would love to know the what happens in the final, Elonian part.
When it’s ready.
My only question at this time, and I realize that it probably falls under the can’t-answer-because-it’s-a-possible-spoiler section but….
…what’s east of Blazeridge Steppes? There’s a large land mass in that direction, what could be there? The Adventurer/Explorer in me is really itching to go there.
The Ash legion homelands, this is the complete world map btw:
http://i.cubeupload.com/zD9ud9.png
It’s even more funny because you can get Toxin Dye for free in your third birthday dye pack.
They should add a Rurik champion, he runs incredibly fast and has little health…
Charr ate them.
I would buy them so quick if it were possible.
That’s the reason.
They take items out to make you buy the next series of items, so you won’t miss out. If they decide to put the old items back in, you will buy them immediately.
Makes me think of the Losaru centaurs.
Could’ve they survived the Elder Dragons?
The river Elon gives them way more living space though.
Are they allied/enslaved with Palawa Joko?
So does the consortium/Black lion trading company own any air ships?
It would surely be of their interests to open trade contacts with Elona or Cantha.
It would be great to see the rivalry between the consortium and the BLTC heat up when they are both fighting to establish trade connections with the far lands first.
And what do those filthy capitalists care about LA, don’t they just want to turn a profit?(especially the consortium has shown no regard for the safety of others over their profits for example southsun) so I don’t see why they couldn’t use manpower to establish those connections.
It might give some interesting stories, the consortium making contact with Joko and trade their technologies for some exotic wares.
I wouldn’t mind just having an Emissary of Palawa Joko or an Emissary of the Dragon Empire set up shop in LA and give us some tidbits of news about their homelands.
Right now I don’t expect us to go there ever, but just hearing about those nations just makes a lot of sense.
Even though the Dragon Empire is so xenophobic it has already shown interest in trading (the Zepherytes) and I don’t see why Joko wouldn’t want to trade if it’s beneficial to him.
Lol why are people never happy? The Guildwars franchise are built on one thing BUY TO PLAY. You make a purchase of the game and each campaign/expansion, then you can play for as long as you would like. Free to play games are just free. They get their money from somewhere like unlocking certain things, or giving you better armor through their stores.
The Saga games by King are a great example wow I made it to this level, but I cannot get through it. Tada King to the rescue you can purchase a way to get past 10 more levels easier. You still have to do them, so its like a key or something. King has made a lot of money doing that. They have commercials on TV all the time where do you think that money comes from.
So Anet asks you to purchase a game to play it without a sub fee. They offer different items in a gem store that do not give any advantage over other players. They allow you to purchase those gems with cash or in game gold.
Stop asking them to go free to play, because it is not gonna happen.
You are misunderstanding me, I just want more people in the game, 5 people in Lions Arch right now, it’s just sad.
How many people do still buy the game? A couple per year? If they would give it away for “free” with HoT, what’s the big deal?
It promotes the second game some more and puts some new life in the game
[Luck] Farms mag shards fairly regularly, maybe hit up Deadly Cuddles about it.
Where do I recognise Deadly Cuddles from? Did he used to WvW on SoR or TC?
Possible Masteries:
Gliding; Both The Echovald Forest and Kaineng city are places with great hights.
Nuhoc Wallows: In the echovald forest you could call it tree climbing, in Kaineng city call it sewer mastery.
Dredge Lore/Luxon Lore/Kurzick Lore/Warden Lore this time add actual lore please a-net. The dredge might have been forced back down, but they still have their tunnel, right? Are the wardens (aka Canthan Sylvari) still alive?
Jade Surfing the thawing jade has been creating weak spots on the jade sea making it impossible to walk on, learn from the luxons to surf over the jadeite weak spots.
Ministry of purity rise in the ranks of the ministry and get allowed access to exclusive places.
PS, rather tired when I wrote this, so it isn’t my strongest work.
I’d assume they would have to add some new gemstore stuff to make it profitable.
They could give away the 3 base games for free ( Just proph won’t be enough to keep players interested these days, factions and NF are just way better games, also heroes) and sell EotN, so if people want to get HoM they still need to invest money.
I have been playing loads of Guild Wars lately, but unfortunately there are barely any players left, especially PvP is as dead as it can be.
So I was wondering, now Guild Wars 2 is Free 2 Play, why not giveaway Guild Wars for free when you buy Guild Wars 2?
P.S. Maybe then A-net could finally finish GW: beyond. Sell it as dlc, I don’t care I just want to play it.
I thought the Charr were already destroying and pillaging Orr and the Vizier sank Orr so they couldn’t enter Arah, or am I mistaken?
I remember reading that Palawa Joko was fighting Risen on his northern border, but now Zaithan is dead why don’t we hear more about him?
I though the OoW still had contact with Elona, so if Joko Ono was “invading” the Crystal Desert, shouldn’t they know about it?
inb4 operation Desert Storm.
EDIT 1: I ofc understand the Risen didn’t just drop dead, but what I assume is this situation:
Palawa Joko sends his troop North to DEFEND his border, after over a century of fighting Risen, ‘suddenly’ the pressure on the border fades away, Palawa Joko still has an immense Army stationed there (because were else is it needed?).
If I was an undead Lich, I would probably push my borders north, because the CD has:
1. Historical ties with Elona.
2. Powerfull Magical artifacts
3.The final resting place of my nemesis
4.A strategical defensive barrier between my capital and the rest of Tyria
5.Precious oil/lack of democracy
btw; could Joko take over the bodies of fallen risen?

Is it it strange though that Guild Wars 1 had the exact same holiday decorations and the exact same holiday quests every year, and people just did them and didn’t complain.
Wintersday 2011 introduced new costumes, replaced Operation: Crush Spirits with The Great Snowball Fight of the Gods, and removed the grentch activity from decorated towns (along with the Grentches and Young Children).
Wintersday 2010 introduced new costumes, changed rewards for most quests, added the Fighting in a Winter Wonderland and Operation: Crush Spirits quests, and coincided with the addition of the conclusion to Hearts of the North. The jingle pets are now unlocked by completing Snowball Dominance from Casey Carpenter.
Wintersday 2009 introduced costumes and the White Jingle Moa (unlocked by completing certain quests for Lieutenant Thackeray). Wintersday 2009 Redux was added afterward to allow people more time to get a festival hat and the event introduced the Wintersday Hat Giver.
Wintersday 2008 expanded Wintersday to include the Eye of the North, with its quests and introduced the Jingle Bear (unlocked by completing certain quests for Lieutenant Thackeray).
Wintersday 2007 added two quests to the the Rift Warden quest giver in both Lion’s Arch and Kamadan, as well as the Miniature Polar Bear.
Wintersday 2006 added Kamadan, Jewel of Istan to the towns that celebrated, including its quests and finale; Tomb of the Primeval Kings stops celebrating Wintersday.
Wintersday 2005 introduced Wintersday which was celebrated in Ascalon City, Lion’s Arch, Droknar’s Forge, and the Tomb of the Primeval Kings, with the finale in Lion’s Arch.
10 gifts, and the fullfilement of finishing it
>,..,>
Special events don’t really count.
I’m talking year round things.
BDS, obsidian armour, envoy weapons,…
wow 2 months to craft the highest tier weapon, that’s so long. Why can’t a-net just mail me every item in the game, playing the game is making wait to have fun.
Maybe we don’t even fight all the dragons.
With the Oblivion story and the world descending into chaos with all the loose magic a-net might tie up the ED story line way sooner then expected. I for one do not believe we need to kill all ED’s to make Tyria implode.
Anyways I am sick and tired of the ED’s, there are way more interesting stories than evil bad dragons that want to destroy everything.
In Guildwars they had some special Thanksgiving related drops.
Every update I hope to find Balthek somewhere.
Did it on my necro, got reward, did on my thief a couple of hours later, did not get a reward
A long time ago I knew someone who was on the Test Servers and he always invested in items he knew were going to get more expensive. so it’s not impossible, but in this case everybody and their mothers invested in Leather
Working on Juggernaut III: The Colossus, last thing I need is the Gravewater ooze: “Coat yourself with your Mystic Chromatic Ooze and take damage in tequatl’s watery grave”
after doing teq 6 times, just to get the whirlpool ability, I took dmg, but didn’t get the achievement.
EDIT: tried it again, apparently you need the coating before you get whirl pooled.

Am I the only one who is dissapointed they didn’t touch on the racism in LA nor caladbolg in Orr?
The amount of pure gold gain was ridiculous, it’s better for the economy to farm places like SW.
That makes sense. One possible workaround would be to have 1 or 2 wps in each zone that are never contested. Maybe up on towers or something so at least people can glide down.
.
you just described VB: You got 3 wp that never get contested: the east one, the west one and the center one, who is surprise surprise on top of a hill.
GW:EN had 25 new explorable areas, plus 3 new cities, plus 18 new dungeons, plus 100 new profession skills, plus 50 new PvE only skills, plus 41 new armor unique looks, and tons of new weapon skins.
Even if HoT had that much content (and no, it doesn’t), EoTN was never priced as $50,00.
The Living Story failed. ArenaNet itself said that if they did it right, we would not have an expansion, and here we are. Both seasons of the LS failed to increase GW2 earnings – worse, neither could even stop said earnings from falling.
How are those nostalgia glasses, I am a big fan of GW, but comparing the amount of content in verdant brink to one zone in EotN is ridiculous, the zones felt way larger, but you didn’t have a lot to do in them.
How many of those dungeons used the same assets of other dungeons, or even just copied entire floors? Bravo, you got 15 extra skills you actually used.
yup there were more armour and weapon skins, most looked exactly the same and next to the monument armours and destroyer weapons I couldn’t name an other set.
A big thing people seem to forget when they make the comparison between GW and GW2 (content wise) is that GW felt a lot larger, because the zones were larger and you couldn’t just run through them. But especially that content was way easier and cheaper to develop for GW.
small correction: A-net never stated they weren’t going to make X-pack
I’ve been playing this expansion a crap ton and barely touched the events in 75% of the maps. I do feel the story was way to short and felt rushed, what about the racism against sylvari in LA, what about Caladbolg and the possible Mordrem corruption in Orr?
I did laugh when the Rata Novus computer mentioned a weakness but not particulars. lol
SUPER useful.
I see them returning to the computer in season 3, Taimi might find some useful information.
Though the whole Rata Novus thing makes me wonder if the bugs have a Primordus connection. Where these bugs in GW1? Taimi states that they had a huge beef with Primordus, which could be due to why they were being driven out of the ground, but also maybe because of those bugs?
Chak are brand new to the GWverse.
There’s nothing remotely destroyer-like about the Chak. They’re not even fiery with their attacks, but lightning and slime based.
So they’re definitely not related to Primordus.
Maybe they were driven to the surface by Primordus, or they already lived there and the Asura bumped into them?
Trahearn’s dead felt kinda forced/Fan service to me.
Title says it all, where do you report bugs with adventures?
In my country we have a parliamentary monarchy and to this day there is still nobility. This is not unique and many European countries still have them.
Nobels in this day and age are comparable to the ones in Tyria, they don’t have any more political power than other voters ( or at least legally), but they often still have a lot of land.
This land was granted to an ancestor by the crown as a reward, with the land they also get a title: Duke, Count, whatever.
p.s. It could be the ministry is voted on by the Nobility and Kryta is a noble republic ( I am not sure) so in this case they would have some political power.
Why don’t we use the Dredge tunnel to Cantha?
I find the presumption that we’ll fight all six Elder Dragons laughable, in all honesty.
3 1/3 years just to face down the second one. At the rate Anet goes, we’d face the sixth in 20 years post-intial release.
Honestly, the plot will have grown so stale by then that I cannot see Anet – or the playerbase – thriving on it so long. Even if we include a seemingly non-ED plot in between like Scarlet originally seemed to be (but wait it wasn’t!).
GW1 had completed its main development within 4 years. Killed by GW2.
I’m sorry, but who can honestly think GW2 to last so long?
Either we’re going to start facing off multiple dragons in one go, or some will be left to remain distant threats like Primordus already is. And given that Mordremoth is possibly the most interesting Elder Dragon due to the sylvari tie-in, I’m expecting both to happen immediately after Mordy – we kill off Jormag and Kralkatorrik in expansion #2, and leave Primordus ans Scleritethin to become distanced threats.
Not to mention there are way more interesting stories than HURDUR evil dragon is about to destroy the world.
I for one am a big fan of the Human Charr peace treaty and the tensions around it.
I can’t recall whether avatars were actually different beings from the gods or if they were merely local manifestations of the gods. If the latter then Abaddon’s avatar would be no more of course (or perhaps it would better to say that it got replaced by Kormir’s avatar). If the former, I could imagine that Kormir (and the other gods) would see to it that Abbaddon’s avatar would be either destroyed or locked away.
This is an interesting pov, That somewhere Abaddon, or even the older God’s (Arachni?)
Avatars still survive.
I played the “Veiled Threat” quest yesterday actually and I always thought Rragnar made the Fleshreavers.
<Party leader>: “We’ve found you and your vile creations. Surrender, Rragar, and we might let you keep your limbs.”"But While I was checking the wiki for this quote I came across this piece of dialogue that you only get when Pyre Fierceshot is in your party:
Pyre Fierceshot (if present): “So, he’s using fleshreavers to do his dirty work. Tread lightly…these unnatural horrors won’t go down easily.”
Meaning they aren’t a new thing, because Pyre knew of them already.
Iron legion Charr play Heavy Metal.

Pretty sure you’re trying to “rock the boat” at this point.

Breaking out of an map is not something we would normally ban for unless it was being maliciously used. That being said, some breakouts require useage of a bug to perform them and may look overly suspicious to a GM that may be trailing you. I’ll look into it.
Use mortar kit. Grenade are a short range weapon now (wich i think it is ok into) Mortar now fills long range gap and tbh it does so very well (but not overpowered, so don’t expect wonders).
ty, didn’t know mortar was changed, it has some nice skills, but will still miss my nades :’(
900 is to little, 1200 was an ok range, 1500 (traited) was godmode, but if you want to nerf it just make it 1200, 900 is just not fun.
