Also, the skin does not appear in my character portrait during character selection.
The helmet skin seems to be subject to culling, leaving my head naked during most events, or in decently populated areas of the game.
This kinda sucks
You’re not wrong.
They desperately need better personalities hosting the stream.
I really love GW2, to the point where I would absolutely take an hour or two out of my week to watch the official stream. But in it’s current state, I’d rather receive the announcements and news in a text-dump after the show ends.
Welp. I reseated my GPU and I’m back to buttery smooth framerate.
Thanks Beldin, I should have tried this earlier!
33 FPS in Silverwastes down from 50-60

lmao. the attachment.
Im refering to the Throw Mine toolbelt skill, Mine Field.
With 30 points into the Tools trait line, and a 30% Tool Belt Recharge Rate reduction, the tooltips indicate Mine Field recharges in 15 seconds.
However when detonating the Mine Field, (or when all the mines are triggered) the recharge is actually 20 seconds.
Its been like this since launch, and it makes putting the Throw Mine ultility into my build kind of questionable.
Bombs, Grenades or both.
Do not use the Flamethrower.
Kimbald, I love how enthusiastic about your characters. xD
Its the lack of critical attacks that really kill it for me.
I have no problems with the lack of mobility or its fragile health pool.
It works after using one kit skill, I think
Thief.
I made a Guardian alt first, and it was too boring. Getting to 80 was insufferable.
Hey speak for yourself, pal. I love Adrenal Implant.
I dont want to use speedy kits, nor do I want any points in Alchemy for the Vigor.
I was going to say COF speed runs. But sure.
Thief has the highest skill ceiling. You absolutely cannot do rotations or facerolls with this profession. Thieves have the highest risk vs. reward if you plan on doing glassy stealth builds. Thieves are squishy and require abusing one of their two survivability mechanics to even last in a fight.
Secondly, the best way to kill a (really) good thief is to play a thief and learn their stratagems (if listening to direct advice fails).
Any thief can be a stealth-humping coward. What separates them from good thieves is all dependent on how they execute and adapt. A great thief, however, will win regardless.
lmao. no way, dude.
Use stealth-heal at full HP. Press Dagger 1 on someone.
Then heal again if youre going to die.
yes and its the only reason to keep the EG on your bar (DPS wise)
There was no healing reduction of 50%
Healing Turret skill:
Reduced the deployed heal by 50%.https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/info/news/Game-Update-Notes-April-30-2013/first#post1932877
Healing Turret is AMAZING, overcharge, the blow ur shield 4, detonate turret, and rocket boots for 3 blast finishers. If u’re running bomb kit also, u can drop bob before for 4 blast finishers @ 1.5k heal each depending on gear. Plus the regen…
Or just use the med kit and heal for more, with less buttons.
Most people dont mind which class you bring to a dungeon (unless they are running Citadel of Flame path 1 money runs). So dont worry about that.
In my opinion, Thief is much more rewarding; more damage, more mobility— which is what dungeons are all about
I now roll with 6/6 Divinity (all stats), which is mad expensive.
but 6 Ruby Orbs is also, totally legit.
6/6 Atruism (using the Med Kit) is also BROKEN (in a good way) for a dungeon build. That one is probably my favorite one for most situations.
IMO. Double Daggers.
You have an evade abilty on Skill #3 and you can go invisible at will by attacking with skill #5.
Keeping a Shortbow handy is good for staying at range, or juking multiple enemies.
Also, the evade/roll heal is incredible while leveling, and has a very low cooldown.
I hate seeing [Berserker’s Mace] and it actually has Rabid stats on it instead.
It tricks me every time xD
it definitely does not out perform the bomb kit.
yo are you crazy? delete this thread, before any developers find out.
I would use it more if the throw mine effect was a knockdown rather than a launch.
Why’s that? Launch is awesome!
Sadly the mine does a knockback and no Launch.
A Launch would be super awesome and a reason to use it.
But there is no reason for me to take mines over bombs or nades. And hell there is no reason to replace toolkit or e-gun with them either.
Could have sworn it knocks them on their behind, but then i have not used them much.
Thing is i was considering using them as a grenade replacement. But the knockback/launch make it bothersome when tossing into a fight, as whoever are in melee has to chase the mob down. It also scatters them.
This is the kind of thing i wish there was traits or similar for. Changing slightly the behavior of attacks. Turning launch/knockback into simply knockdown or similar.
I can’t for instance properly combo ol’ bomb and fire bomb because the big one send them flying when i would love for them to stay in the DOT.
i think there should be a trait to magnetically attract enemies with the Mine skill, instead of knocking them away.
Dolyaks should detect invisible enemies.
BOOM problem solved.
The multiplayer dungeon is great, I love it.
the singleplayer instance, however, is a NIGHTMARE.
arena net pls..
6/6 Divinity, all Celestial trinkets.
5k Bomb crits, 1.2k medpac heals, and almost 19k HP. #getlikeme
1. fix for Scope
2. higher damage on Flamethrower and Elixir Gun kits.
3. make pistol 1-3 skills not the worst weapon skills in the game.
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Godskull_Targe – Shield
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Godskull_Flintlock – PistolThose are similar in a “skull/bone” theme. Too it might depend on your race, which is?
My engi’s a Charr. Do you think the bone weapons will look good on him?
You might want to get a look to this shield skin, this is the one I use and like it very much:
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Iron_Legion_Shield
For the pistol, I do not find something really “steampunk”, so I cannot help you. Personaly I use a peral hand-cannon.
thats my favorite shield! +1
Its okay for PVP stomps. Other than that.. lol
Im really not expecting much else.
Maybe a Scope trait fix. MAYBE.
Would this work on 6000 series? Or is this strictly a new card thing?
I think you got it right.
Support literally means you contribute little damage to the group, and are probably a wasted spot.
If you want to support your team, do as much damage as possible and bring one or two utility skills that either grant boons or remove conditions.
I think the med packs could use a better graphic.
Even when I drop them for other players, they sometimes avoid them for fear of tripping over another trap or hazard in a dungeon.
Obviously the Engineer.
I think an Axe would fit, or a Mace. Nothing else tho.
The game needs voice chat.
rifles. always
also im p sure that the pistol rate of fire is bugged and its the same speed as the rifle.
Not really sure what youre saying..
I already lost 3s trying to escape Rox’s prison instance. xD
i just bought 10 the other day. fml.
lets not all forget that a major korean investment firm visited NCsoft very recently and they expect a Guild Wars 2 expansion out by the end of this year.
They also mention that GW2 will also launch in China this year, but NCsoft may not be able sell CDs or licenses.
http://www.kdbdw.com/bbs/download/167691.pdf?attachmentId=167691
So my guess is that an expansion launching at the end of the 2013 in western territories (US and EU) may be a way to stabilize quarter over quarter revenue.
PEACE
I need a human plush backpack for my Charr!!
its fun to use.
but yeah, you’re right: still not worth a slot.
just go full damage (berserker’s armor) and one or two team-friendly ultility skills like Elixir Gun, or Elixir U (for faster rezes, more damage and a projectile blocking toolbelt skill)
just FT2’s fireball explode on impact. Flamethrower fixed.
BOOM
thats way too confusing.
if they wanted to changed the whole tool belt thing: just put a different engineer kit on F1, F2, F3, and F4 and let us have a ton of utility skills.
Jade Quarry server is ALWAYS poppin off.
Try guesting here. it’s pretty awesome.
