It’s not currently possible, but opened a tracking issue. There’s a few difficulties with the implementation that are probably going to make it not update correctly when you’re logged in (or might cause it to only update when you’re logged in, not entirely sure yet), so I’ve kind of been punting on it.
There’s an open issue for this, but it hasn’t been deployed yet. I actually don’t remember what the blocker for it was. Unfortunately it won’t show placed decorations, but it’ll show what’s in storage.
There are 574 achievement points from SAB achievements currently missing from the API. This will be fixed eventually.
I think the change to fix this is part of this issue which should go out with the next release.
Huh, might have been related to the hotfix. Is this still not working for you? If it’s not, can you PM me your API key?
Ah yeah that’s a good point, I’ll see if I can figure out how to make a sticky post.
The rate limit is currently 600 requests/minute and is exposed in the X-Rate-Limit-Limit response header. It’s per-IP address.
Bug Fix:
- Fixed a client crash.
I will note that this mission would have been WAY more fun, across the board, if we’d had access to Bloodstone gliding powers.
Seriously. And not just this fight, but other situations as well. The gliding skills are among the best things from this LS season, and it’s a shame to see them dropped like a hot potato after the first episode.
But… Episode 4?

Bug Fixes:
- Fixed an issue with the positioning of Flames of War while wielded.
- Fixed an issue with the coloration of Neophyte’s Beacon, Liturgy, and Flames of War at certain shader settings.
- In the Heart of the Volcano instance, downing one of the bosses next to the machine no longer prevents completion of the relevant quest step when you scan it.
- Additional lighting fixes have been implemented for all 10-Series NVIDIA graphics cards.
- Fixed an issue in which mercenary prisoner doors remained in an untargetable state.
- The golem who gives you the password for the People Watching achievement now grants achievement credit in a larger radius.
Would be nice if the votes would count ONLY if the people have made the legendary armor. So have a look at the people that answer. Others opinions on the matter should not count at all.
Floating is the right answer. I’m using medium armor and Aurene backpiece. The problem is that the backpiece is relatively small and getting it more closer to the skull on the back will make the clipping horrible. Small backpiece, big part of it in the skull, the skull not visible. It’s just not a good idea.
To be clear here if clipping was the selection chosen we would move the back-piece as close to the back of the chest armor without it clipping. Clipping would potentially occur between the larger back packs / shields /weps and the lower rear half of the armor.
Hey Forum Folks!
I have a suggestion. To facilitate Paul’s gathering of your input, could you please use a format where you essentially “vote” on one of the two options, then share additional info below?
Sample Post
I would prefer [floating backpieces] or [some level of clipping].
[Insert any additional thoughts, such as suggestions, feedback, etc. afterwards]
Looking at the potential input, I believe posting in this way will be helpful to Paul in his review of your input. (That’s my unsolicited opinion. Paul doesn’t know I’m posting this, so mum’s the word! )
Thanks!

Greetings all,
Thanks to everyone who participated in the AMA earlier this week and to everyone who has shared feedback on the legendary armor. One of the items that was high on the feedback list was the attach points for back items and that’s what I want to talk about in this thread.
The approach we had taken was to try avoid weapons and shields, specifically larger items like a staff, from clipping through the armor when stowed on the back. However, with the Light armor this meant moving the stow point out quite a way. So now you have floating back pieces. In our internal and Alpha program testing the feedback was that the float was better than the clip. On release the feedback is that some level of clipping is preferable to having the back-piece float behind you.
Needless to say we want to do the right thing and make the armor the best experience we can and so I wanted to throw the question over to you folks to let you have a say on which you prefer.
And while I appreciate all feedback on the armor, let’s try and keep the topic focused on this one item please.
What would you prefer to see – floating back-pieces or some level of clipping with the armor?
This is such a fun idea! Thanks for creating this contest, Alucardalina!
I hope everyone gets involved and contributes. There are some cool prizes in the offering! Head over to Project Tyria for info!

Hey everyone! I wanted to follow up with an update on this.
We have identified the cause for the lag/crashes and are looking into a fix for it, but I cannot provide an eta for when it will be out.
There is also another issue where mesmers summoning clones and phantasms can cause graphic pops and fps drops. A fix for this is also being looked into, and I cannot provide an eta for when it will be ready.
If you continue to crash but you are not a mesmer or do not suspect armor toggling – please start a new thread and we’ll get some investigating on that topic. Thank you again to everyone for the answers to the questions! It was verify helpful in identifying different areas of impact.

I spoke with the engineer who put in the fix: out of an abundance of caution the fix was limited to 1080 cards only. If possible, we’re going to try to expand the fix to the entire 10 series cards.
In the meantime, we’d like to try an experiment with those who are still experiencing the shadow flickering related issues: try rolling back your graphics drivers.
That’s cool. Is there also a fix for AMD cards as well?
AMD cards appear to have an unrelated issue. I don’t know anything about it unfortunately.

I attended the Pride March last year, and it was a fun and worthwhile event. I treasure the memory and the message! Those who are organizing this have put a lot of thought into the event, and I hope to see a lot of Guild Wars 2 players on June 24th!

LFG results wouldn’t necessarily need that long of a cache time.
The long cache times are only necessary for character/account blobs for architectural reasons.
We’re so happy to see this excellent initiative continue in 2017!
Thanks to all of you who are working on the event — your work is very much appreciated. And to all who participate, and especially to those who donate in support of such a worthy cause, thanks to you, as well.
This is sure to be a marvelous event!

Hey guys!
For those of you reporting the crash – we’re looking for some more information to help us with the investigation. (some of this may repeat information you’ve stated already)
- Did you have other players around you in legendary armor when you crashed?
- If so, how many people do you think were nearby?
- What professions were they? (if you know)
- Were you all idling in town, or in combat (or were you using specific skills).
- When you crashed, did you see a crash report window or a small dialog box with a Code=(NUMBERS), or did you hard lock and not get any messages at all (and were sent straight to desktop)?
- Were you playing in full screen or windowed?
- What operating system are you using?
- Are you using the 64 or 32 bit client? (We know some folks override to the old sometimes)
I know this is a LOT of questions, but any of these you can answer for us will greatly help as we see if its legendary armor or another issue causing the crashing.
Thanks!

Hey guys,
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, and I hope to see many other forum members adding to this thread. But may I ask that you please use the spoiler tag for comments that may give away story elements or other things? To learn how to do that, click “More posting and formatting options” below. I was going to try to write out how to do it, but found it keeps hiding the instructions, so check them out in the list, please.
I see that a lot of you made comments that are very helpful but that avoid spoilers. For example, using “the final fight” instead of “fighting PoobadooGoneBad (not a real villain)” is great.
Thanks for using the “spoiler” tag! And if you may have had a few spoilerific comments in your post, if you could edit to add the tag it would be very helpful.

Bug Fixes:
- Fixed an issue with Oakheart’s Essence effects on the hand.
- Fixed an issue in which scanning one of the boss corpses could sometimes block Taimi from delivering further instructions.
- The Heart of the Volcano instance will no longer stall in the sequence following the boss fight if a warrior uses Vengeance to rally.
- The errant remnant of Taimi’s machine at the end of the Heart of the Volcano instance has been cleaned up.
- Fixed a bug in which some video cards had a display issue with lights.
05/02/2017 – Late Notes
- Fixed a bug that caused the “Clear out the remaining White Mantle forces around Noran’s Homestead” event in Lake Doric to occasionally stall.
- Fixed a pathing issue with Glenna in Stronghold of the Faithful.

I’ll regenerate the tiles today; thanks for the reminder.
Not sure … why/how those tiles got corrupted. Lots of places that might have happened; good news is that tile regeneration overwrites the old tiles, so hopefully the issue magically disappears.
EDIT: literally everything went wrong regenerating the tiles, so I’m only now starting to upload them to S3. I’ll switch the cloudfront distribution over tomorrow morning; sorry about the delay.
EDIT2: New tiles should be up. I spent a couple minutes looking for artifacts, but couldn’t find any. Lemme know if you find any corrupted tiles and I’ll try to figure out where they broke.

05/02/2017 – May 2nd Release Notes
Living World – Flashpoint
The White Mantle launched a surprise attack on Divinity’s Reach. Betrayed from within and assaulted from without, the city fought a battle on two fronts. Queen Jennah rose to the occasion, revealing just how powerful a mesmer she is, and with a monumental effort on the part of the humans and their allies, the city broke the siege.
Caudecus Beetlestone, once the legate minister, was commanding the White Mantle forces, bringing his plot to take the Krytan throne to its conclusion. He’d been working on it for decades, but his plan was foiled. Loyalists and allies of the queen found him in his mansion. Before he could be taken into custody, however, the snake murdered his own daughter, Demmi, an honorable agent of the Order of Whispers—and a friend to many.
Caudecus’s subsequent death was an unsatisfactory revenge for her loss. With their leader dead, the White Mantle forces fell into chaos, and the Seraph and Shining Blade picked off the stragglers with ease. In the wake of the battle, the Divinity’s Reach prison bulged with inmates. A search of Caudecus’s manor revealed one of Lazarus’s aspects—the objects into which he safeguarded portions of his soul.
This discovery brought Lazarus’s true identity into question. Who is Lazarus? Marjory continues to shadow him, but does she know what she’s getting herself into? That question will have to wait, because Taimi is on the verge of completing her antidragon device. The Elder Dragons grow stronger every day, and thus Tyria becomes ever more chaotic and dangerous. Taimi’s device could be the answer that saves the world.
New Legendary Torch: Flames of War
A new legendary weapon is now available. Speak with Grandmaster Craftsman Hobbs in Lion’s Arch to learn how to craft the new torch precursor, Liturgy, and forge the new legendary torch, Flames of War.
Raids
- Legendary armor is now available in the game. Complete the final step in the collection to receive the Refined Envoy set. Combine that armor with the recipe components in the Mystic Forge to produce the most sought-after armor in the Guild Wars® world.
- Rune Swapping: A key functional attraction of legendary armor is the ability to swap the stats of the item on the fly. Since runes and infusions are as impactful a choice as the stats on the armor, we have altered the behavior of these items to allow players to swap runes and infusions from legendary armor at will. Ascended armor will not be affected by this change.
Items
- Blood Rubies, Jade Shards, Petrified Wood, and Winterberries have been added to material storage.
Structured Player vs. Player
- Added the Draconis Mons Reward Track.
World vs. World
General
- Added the Draconis Mons Reward Track.

I know an exact ETA usually can’t be given, but at this point, is there enough knowledge of the issue to know if the TP will be back up today?
The team is working on this, and after a fix is found there’s always testing to be done. I’m following their discussions, but at this point, it’s a little premature to give an ETA — even though you suggested a broad one, which was very nice of you.
I wrote messaging that we can post once the problem is resolved. I will post, or another member of the Comms Team will post, in the News and Announcements sub-forum in all languages when the issue is resolved.
