Sadly the pvp is dead in turns of fair fights, quitting sometimes when the odds are against you it’s sometimes necessary the (pvp) game has become a Blitzkrieg (Lightning War) a rush were the leading team gets 300 and the oposing gets 100 i’m surprised only some have met 1 or 3 ,the (AFK) notestest it’s not worth it to continue they got they points(to add to there contribution) and better luck next time to tell the truth (crossed my mind and did it sometimes)
As it said do you continue when your in the ‘’losing,, team ? Does it worth to continue to fight and enter the fight, or let them win this time and better luck next time
I personally give up ’’sometimes,, when i see the vs slaughtering badly my team and the difference is 150-200
They already fkt up 1 of the virtue (SoC) guaranteed that they nerf the res,t my prediction is that they nerf the spear because some profession complain is a pull and unblockable.
And the WoR its way to easily to be slowed interrupted and hard to angle were you land and worst of all its action is way to slow, the enemy can see were you land and it doesn’t care the heal from it ist very low
Just making dreams that turn to nightmares by them, the SoC is the first

Come on admit it they hate us, the devs nerf the hell out of DH so badly i find near no skills or ability is usefull, the DH trait was soo fkt up no traps no blocks even the core the virtues were nerf up.
What is next the spear of justice if they nerf that they can delete the elite right away
From all the freaking patches that involve changes literally all of them, they have nerf the elite specialization from this profession.
What is there final final plan break the profession/elite to the ground ? Ruin it (so) bad reduce the population of the guard/DH make them useless on all game modes
Is this what they want ? Was it so powerful at launch of HOT?.
That they resulted in killing it slowly in each ’’balance patche,,

The hell is this ? the topic creator has a problem (cucu), and i’m pretty sure he/she is not a main or pure guard/DH player, those changes are right the core of the class the ’’bread and butter,, of the profession and the expansion of it, we need better changer not freaking nerf here compansete here a bit (a little or not)
The guardian/DH has fallen so much that it’s nearly extinct in some parts of the game pvp,pve(some dung,raids) and even the wvw(remaining debatable)
G/DH have become the mockery of the other classes and the accused for losing some games because we can keep up
In my case i accuse the devs the creators for making the G/DH so weak and dont open there eyes to se that the class is dying soo fast that were near unplayable
First of all hat off for you, (for achieving something that for our profession is near forbidden)
Second did you feel any feeling of powerless sometimes when you faced some of the current leading classes in pvp ? (that are wrecking our class brutally)
Happen so many times to me that it made me near giving up on the guardian/DH and take a faceroller
Will the devs take this in consideration? i dought it, i bet in the next patch will get another fix(nerf) in the already broken profession what’s next virtues/meditations HP or another crack in the LB
That skill is so broken (now) instictival you use it to escape of reset your virtues but now you end chanel you die due to the condition that were accumulated on you and the ,,Superior Rune of Lyssa’’ doesn’t help you much because of the amount of conditions can easily put back on
After the mockery that this profession has been from the devs and creators no wonder were left behind in pvp big leagues and even a pvp match and even in PVE now from the looks of it
-extremely low HP to start with (11K zerk/ 17K marauder/or other)
-no condition acces properly (a simple burn that ticks 200 dmg others just apear on the oponent just for 1s)
-no damage done properly that we can survive after (kamikaze shot he survive you dead)
-no survivability vs the conditions that were faced against (cancer conditions eats you slowly)
-no proper traits/skills that we can work with (more than 75% is junk right now)
-no reasonable weapon that be efficient in long/mid/close distance (LB got nerf ,hammer slow/useless, mace junk shield just a lost dream)
-no mobility(all have swiftness easy access we don’t, use some long cooldown skills for 10 sec run and fall behind fast)
-no boons sustain properly (3 sec near all)
Befor the launch of HOT i saw the DH put my hopes in it that it will be capable challenge in pvp vs the other professions now its like what the hell is this a class or a dead weight in the game
A profession/class that has been baptised with a noble name(and again DH) and made after to laugh on
It is this the future ?

Give us something to survive the freaking condition pours of the current game
the guardian/DH can’t survive pvp with the amount of conditions that the other professions can put on us and the condition ticks kills slowly if not first encounter fight with 10K or less survive that ?! give us some passive cleansings on some traits /skills of weapons then we can survive a bit in pvp
The guardian shield is dead lost to warrior,engy now DH lost it to revenant mesmer (and i doubts with that will make it loved again) they can throw the shield in the godforsaken guardian weapons tabs next to mace scepter and torch and dust cleaned sometime hammer
The guardian has so many useless traits skills and weapons that im surprised there are any guardians left and more that there still letting guardian to be a profession in the game. Each update it hurts since HOT at start it was fun the DH/guardian manage to survive the other professions but now seriously, after they have nerf the DH core (traps) they switch to bow (skill 2) that’s just ruining the elite specialization itself letting nothing left.
What in godforsaken its next the elite virtues if they touch that its game over DH (they should just remove it from the game)
This is mockery the only good skill that deals decent damage in the hole godforsaken guardian/DH armament. Im ok with 5-10% but 20 %, is that skill really a threat when the rest of the condi spamers/facerolers have reduced some dmg/condi to some but not to key skills/traits of the class/profession in such a way that it ruins their existence
And virtues good good BUT, COME ON REDUCE THE DH AS WELL not only the base ones. Its like.
Here i reduce some cooldown on your good skills but you give up on your (recent ex good and only) weapon/trait for long range.

GG condition spammers/ keyboard face rollers this is proof of imbalance of condition meta (the balance between condition put time and condition clearance time) all i am seeing is the S2 favorite classes necros,eles,mesmers,revenants
They don’t care about the runspeed of the guardian, every freaking class/profession has +25% movement speed PASSIVE !! (exept guardian/DH), swiftness easily acces the revenant has perma swiftness, the guardian/DH nothing just a converter (useless) 2 shouts (at a freaking 40/32 sec cooldown) and symbol that does only 1 pulse if you sit in it (AKA useless as well) and i am talking about PVP were if your late your team is dead ,wvw doesn’t help you too much, pve barely. If they were kind in giving us a +25% or a trait swift for 1/2 sec with a coldown couldn’t squeeze that somewhere in 1 of the line of useless traits

I just hope after S2 the devs open their eyes (and FIX) on the overuse of some professions/clases making the primary use and reducing the diversity on and in the PVP
devastating condi meta use (like condi put vs condi cleanse the balance between them)
encourage /improving some left behind professions/clases giving them equal chances
or else S3(if it will be 1) will be the same or worst and the complaints will be much much more

Daze was the only good thing that the DH got from traps and evan from the HOT expansion without daze the DH traps will be completely useless (is this what the devs want to say)
And if they will nerf the dmg or daze the can throw the traps in the guardian/DH lost dream locker near the SW mace,hammer and shield
Let us not forget the guardian before the expansion didn’t have daze (except the lost tome skill ,,Pacifism’’ that was all) the rest of the professions has 1,2 or even 3 (coughing "thief,,) that had easy access to it

Just to clear that up: I’m no fan of the current Dragonhunter (also made a lenghty post about it even before BWE).
However, please keep in mind that we’re at the start of BWE1, Anet promised they want to listen to feedback. If they don’t then by all means they deserve to be flamed, but right now I think we should provide constructive feedback.
The Basics of the Dragonhunter are actually good. For example, the choice of the Longbow was nice (scepter isn’t bad, but it feels awkward – to me at least). They just went overboard with some of the conditions they wanted to shove in and figured, that there’s no way the DH can keep the DMG with all those… and so it kinda became a joke.
They are seriously mock the DH a LB that does just poking dmg slow as hell cooldown that make you cry (bugged even)
Traps that easly,easley any (pvp) mob player can’t just doge them, the design for them was rong plan, nearly any profession will overpass them,

-Ooh look a guardian in B team
-Poor fellow don’t he knows his class got so nerf that he barely survives even dmg is non
-F*** him thief X go playkill him don’t let him get any points i want to hear him swear in Map chat that hi cant kill you, and trust me he will die first even if he’s a pro or not
Is this what the devs to hear in each pvp match or in tournaments
Is this what the GW2/HOT community want to think about the guardian an easy picking for the other professions and even worse in HOT
(And Josh XT.6053 gladly accept your offer but i am a guardian as well )
And i am positive you will fell the nerfs head on when you go pvp wvw (roaming or Eotm)

Time is ticking and guardian death clock is near over(and we die) and someone seeing only the good parts seeing healing but healing doesn’t help you kill the opponent(only delays your slow death or instadeath) when you get in situation of dps support or even 1v1 situations
I don’t want to get in situation were guardian getting near ban in(organized) pvp because they cant survive or keep up with the other professions, becoming only daily profesion luck match win profession use
This is only pvp perspective
Pve (AKA dungeons) i’m pretty sure we’ll get kicked in the head with the revenant tablet, meaning that they will be chosen more often in the team because they will easily change from healing/support back to dps/support

so… anyone feeling still optimistic about it ?
From the live streams i’m seeing other professions popping like 14-20K bursting near 1-3 sec how the heck will the guardian cope with those burst with a near 11K zerk and 15-17K heath
Are they forcing the guardian to go bunker or die (zerk) get someone to 25% and die in the end (ticking with near perma 20 stacks of bleed vulne poison confusion)
These changes will so backfire for the devs and the insta death for the guardian (pvp)

Have they field tested these changes or beta with a some public players to see how will it work because i m not seeing this work well with the near perma pour of conditions from other professions that they will have in abundance and the guardian/DH having only some skills that have godly cooldown that can convert or dispel
burning seems dead to me(for the guardian) the ele and the warr have more burning pour and dmg that the guard

If now its hard with the thief 4 seconds daze how the hell will the DH deal with the double steal from the thief traits in the expansion, a near 10sec daze and that only on the DH
Think after the expansion what will happen in pvp wvw and pve, a organize team witch will chose ? a guardian with crappy traps and slow LB or a ‘’super support,, rev that can easily change from support/defense to dps. I’m pretty sure they will survive better that a guardian in wvw pvp pve (i bet the guardian will become like the warr personal support, because the revenant will take that team support from them)
This i find it more like putting salt on the wound(insult to the DH near no love rework on the spirit weapons), the tablet its already the hole guardian spirit skill sets in 1
And even more the hole traits sets for the tablet are in 1 as for the guardian (DH) are in one corner(grandmaster !!!) not giving them anything just some minor burn and reduction(not helping for the bow 2 uses and poof gone) NO permanent stay
Way not remove them already because the guardian have no use for them now or the future and give them some new shots or signets (not traps)

I agree but getting a near 8 sec daze i find it abit way too much and im not a fan of mesmers getting from them a dam 20 sec all bons Are they really serious about this ?

But the current 2 professions i see over advantage on the DH, compare the new access of each profession how will it counter
Example of some chronomancer traits (i find my head tilted to one side and think,
How the hell will i cope with this ?)
-Flow of Time – Gain alacrity when you shatter. (1s) (That is 4/5 !!! and mesmers usually use them all)
-Illusionary Reversion – Gain a clone after you activate a shatter skill (so pop 3 clones shatter in you alacrity comes with it, pop 1 back as a back up and send it there and so on.. , soo.. run from them yea right with what ? stop them with what Puncture Shot? that will cripple (2s) if there are more but not slow them towards you)
-Lost Time – Every 3rd critical hit will slow your target. (2s of Slow) (soo… perma slow on me already having a godly slow cooldown on the guardian skills)
Should i continue about the reaper ?
Rip DH vs chronomancer that near passive clone spawn, skill cooldown and skill cooldown increase access (GS sword/shield already seeing them)
Rip DH vs reaper, passive chill ,chill on fear that 50K health gap closing skills near all new skills heal health/lifeforce
What the hell is next ?
(worst case scenario) thief’s gets passive stealth that will be the final nail in the DH coffin and the death of GW2 and welcome to PWI 2 assassins folks
Already seeing my build PVP DH same med build but with LB and GS keeping distance from the Reaper till i get the chance to jump and burst and get out wen he gets back to F1 Reaper form avoiding those gap closing skills and that 5 GS skill
Rune of the Ogre, Sigils in each of Generosity (hell i’m not keeping that chill on me sending it back) Sigil of Rage in GS (if lucky it activates and i attack faster and increase the chance of transfer) and Sigil of Fire in the LB (why not add some juice to the weapon ) as for the traits il get analyzing to find a good lines and choices.
Sry no trap use hell i’m not gonna be stuck with a 45 sec fail trap cooldown

Am more exited that they will field test PVP the DH vs the other professions.
Happy that they will show vs a pro profession pvp player (i hope) the chances of the DH with the new traps and LB, many concerns of the DH i hope will be buried at peace,reconsider or redesign
I hope there will be one a 60 sec ,,Hunter’s Ward ,, rly now? I imagine that being a last resort skill for escape or to capture someone near down + i hope they ad some vulne trait on LB , to go on a full trait line just to give some ads of 10-20% more dmg and a knock-back on 7s colldown rly is that all

at the end that il have 20s of chill at the end on me, dmg reduced to them by 15%, and dmg receive increase (we have that too but burning ticks fast no extra damage done advantage ends )
And finally the longbow
auto 1 no condition apply (except burning and sigils) ONLY !! if a sec target is close you cripple
2 CHARGE damage done no condition (very high chance they will see it ,dodge it or raise a shield reflect/block there will be many that can do that)
3 deflecting shot scepter ball of wrath style with a small block on the way and a blind 1 of there atks
4 shot a symbol ads vigor to you/ally radius 180 (go get it ! o wait to small mist it)
And last 5 a whopping 60 sec personal (Ring of Warding) giving skill the enemy still shots you don’t forget that !! and a small dmg at the end (no x dmg to it) and 360 radius (each personal ring or total skill radius ?)
Here is a test of imagination a battle 1v1 wvw or pvp from the current expansion professions (mesmer/chronomancer, necro/reaper so far) how will you

The guardian is so so so dead i can say that before i see the rest of the professions expansion, traps really ? at 45 sec(near) each and hope he will be stupid or idiot to hit and stay in the trap when i’m positive they will dodge and teleport out of there
LongBow(we asked for it) some skills are good , but no vulne apply/stack pretty much trying to shoot a moving wall (and many will have it constantly up)
What the guardian needs for the future is more condition cleansing from the start i see the game going to condition stacking and applying ore burning will be dead the devs shown that to us ,well have crippled but its not slow like the chronomancer that slows skil recharge
They will get some wings they will need it because they will die so fast and go to heaven/hell because they will not cope with the constant pore of conditions on them
And you will prove me right about it one day
Please tell me that the (childis game name) dragon hunter will get some condition cleansing traits that pulse more frequently because i am seeing a lot of condition poring from the ‘’reaper,, and ’’cronomancer,, that will seriously slow fear chill … the slow LB slow trap laying dragon hunter
PATIENCE !! we haven’t seen the rest of our enemies weapons expansion don’t jump on the ‘’OP,, subject. We haven’t seen the necro GS yet , engy hammer,thief rifle, ranger staff, ele sword and warrior(—) and let’s not forget the new profession revenant
