Count me as one of the people who would hate it. My guildies and I avoid fighting under water as much as possible.

The customer support is amazing! They go above and beyond.

I don’t care for the desert lands or dead or destroyed lands. I like green and snowy areas. HoT is beautiful!

I am not a fan of the Firebrand but I LOVE the Soulbeast so I am leaving my guardian and going back to my Ranger.

Once a week I create a new character, use a scroll, and do the first personal story arc after which I get a key. I think most people do the human commoner one since it’s the quickest but the others aren’t that far off in case you want to change it up.

Outfits can be so exaggerated in design that I usually pass on them.

Outfits I like are the pirate, cook, monk, and maybe a few others that are not so over-the-top. Town clothes and the clothes that were changed to tonics, along with many of the low level crafting or dropped armors are my favorites.

The pirate outfit is my absolute favorite! It looks beautiful on my female human and norn (without the hat). I wish we had more like that. I really don’t like the lavish spikey stuff at all.

Firebrand skills were beautiful but not fun for me at all…way to clunky and complicated for my little brain.

I loved the Soulbeast so I’m going back to my Ranger. It still needs some work though. We need to be able to swap our pets while in beast form for starters. I quit my Ranger because didn’t like pets at all so I’m happy that I can go petless and I plan to stay in that form as much as possible. (I also didn’t like Druid) Soulbeast is an amazing idea that needs some tweaking to be really good.

I don’t like having a pet so I will stay in beast mode. Swapping would be something I would want very much.

I absolutely love it! I’m leaving my Guardian main and coming back to my Ranger. I hated the pet and didn’t like Druid. The Soulbeast is what I think a Ranger should be, channeling animals. I’m very happy!

This has been asked for over and over again. We need this badly….please.

That will have to be fixed. What’s the point of a legendary if it can’t be seen?

The raven glider is beautiful but I would like it to be a bit smaller….just enough to encompass my character because it does impede vision.

I am a 60 year old grandma with arthritic hands. I am also the 2nd worst player in the game, grandpa is the worst, and we LOVE HoT. We found the base game a bit boring so we left for a while then came back to HoT. We love the challenge and the additions like gliding, bouncing mushrooms, and ley lines. Challenge is fun….easy is boring.

The raptor was amazing! I felt like I imagine riding a real raptor would feel like. The idle animations were hilarious and I would stand still just to watch it. I love it and wouldn’t change it at all except to be able to dye the whole animal instead of just the top half. The person who designed the look and animations for this thing should get a huge raise!

Yeah, the bonus gear not only looks a bit lame, but it’s an OUTFIT. When will they learn that nobody wants outfits. We want armor skins, bits and pieces that we can mix and match with different armor skins as we see fit. I would take a single completed armor set for 2-3 dozen outfits any day of the week. I would take a single good pair of shoulders or gloves over a full outfit skin. They need to give up on the Outfits, and this pre-order bonus is a really bad sign.

I love outfits. It’s the only way my Guardian can wear dresses.

This kind of behavior used to really hurt my feelings too but then I realized that it’s probably people who are weak and have no real control over their real lives so they come to a digital world where they don’t have to suffer the repercussions of their actions. I’ve learned to laugh at them and imagine what losers they are in real life.

Don’t get too discouraged. There are a LOT of wonderful people in this game who go out of their way to be kind and helpful to others. Thankfully there are more of them than the other kind.

Do we get the level 80 boost right away?

I would like to add my “thank you” also. My friends, family and I are having such a great time and can’t wait for the expansion.

I loved every bit of it and will buy the expansion as soon as the store starts working again. It looks amazing!

I’m liking these account bound waypoints. It only took one play period to get all unlocked and now I can jump in to the map on any alt and play the whole map without needing to do waypoint runs. That, the waypoint runs, was a problem for me in the HoT maps. I didn’t want to bring a new alt to those maps when I only wanted to play so I stuck to the ones that had the waypoints already unlocked. I hope ANet has these account wide waypoints on all their new maps from now on.

I am super excited! I loved the HoT maps with gliding and mushrooms and can’t wait to see the new maps with new additions to the game.

I would also like an option to hide my shield so my beautiful wings will show.

While stowed, the shield on the back of the character “hides” the back item. So when i run around with my shield, i can’t show off my Ad Infinitum.
However, a character can have a Greatsword on it’s back WITHOUT it hiding the back item.

Please make it so that we can see BOTH of a character’s shield, and wings at the same time, just like it works with greatswords.

(hopefully this is the right place to post this, as i do not think this is a bug)

I would like this also or at least a toggle to choose which to show.

What was wrong with it? Why did you dislike it?

(This isn’t the first thread on this type of subject I’ve seen and if you have a list of reasons why it’s not a good system I’d like to see it for future reference)

I disliked it because you had to travel to all the different merchants in all the different areas to compare prices and find what you needed. It was extremely time consuming and not fun. Also, you have to be a member of a merchant guild to be able to sell anything and most of those guilds had minimum selling requirements or you were booted and left with no way to sell anything except yelling it out in region chat.

I want to spend my limited time playing the game and not running around to different merchants to buy what I need. I like the one stop shop.

I am a HUGE fan of the gem store outfits! It’s the only way my guardian can wear a dress.
