Invisible walls, hundreds of places where you get stuck, no clue how to get to skillpoint x, POIs, i don´t mind exploration and walking outside of a path i even like it, but this zone is probably the worst i´ve ever seen in any MMO.
Map Designer, what did you think when creting tht zone? It´s no fun at all and mapchat is full of ranting people getting stuck, asking how to get to point blah and skillpoint x.
Thats not the problem, the problem is when you have champions guarding a skillpoint!
Could make it into a shapeshifter instead, transform into the various beasts of tyria :P
Please lower price for Tier 1 and Tier 2 Cultural Weapons, its IMPOSSIBLE!

Word of advise – Don’t look at orrian armor, it’s more depresssing
I,m an asura guardian but i’ve not use radiation field before so i can’t comment on that, i’ve used the bots before they are not bad overall.
The offensive bot has quite good dmg, his rapid fire does on average 3k dmg per bolt – he would usually get boss aggro when he turns up, leaves you time to heal and stuff, on the downside he’s not very durable and he doesn’t hang around long.
The bot suit is so-so, fun to use but i’d rather not, better call upon a bot to assist you than become a bot yourself.
The defensive golem is not bad either quite a sturdy bot, but i rarely use him, he’s quite slow and pretty dumb sometimes.
I experimented on this build, the damage is not bad maybe you can try it out.

I use a GS mainly and always use virtue of justice whenever available.
It would be kind of cool to see a huge norn carrying a small toothpick as a sword, lol
Just a vanity suggestion, but i would really like to see the weapons remain the same size for every race.
I play an asura and i think it’ll be really cute to see her running around with an oversized sword :P
But wouldn,t it be pretty useless to macro something if you dont include delay?To program skill attack you need to measure the delay for it to execute before pressing the next button, otherwise the macro wont work. IF you can’t do that , then what’s the point.
There’s no way I can crit for 10k each whirl hit lol. That will be 90k at the end lol.

Yes, the cumulative damage (the number show at the end of a whirl).
Cumulative damage then it’s quite normal to reach 12k. I think i even got a higher dmg output fighting Jormag then normal mobs, guess all projectiles hit since he’s so big.
The 19800 was on the champion during Temple of Grenth event. I also crit some poor soul in WvW for 11k. My lowest is like 4k with minimal crit and most of the projectiles miss. It has to do a lot with positioning and the luck for crits (well, it helps to have 56% chance). I made a post about whirling wrath. You can click on my name and search for it.

7000 to 11000. My highest is 19800 by cheesing might and vulnerability.
What did you hit? The highest i’ve ever gotten against a same level mob is probably 3k
Hammer/Greatsword switching deal tons of damage. Hammer #1 is the best damage chain in the game.
Guardians can do great damage, and I don’t see where the myth that they can’t comes from.
They can’t do _burst_damage properly. Sustained damage is no problem at all in the right build.We are also capable of doing burst damage. My whirl of wrath in PvE/WvW crit for 7-11k with good positioning.
7-11k or 700-1k?
Trident dmg is super meh, but the spear makes quite good dmg but you have to be in melee range.
The sceptre bolt needs to be faster, thats the main thing

So far at cursed shore i can handle 3 normal melee mobs without needing to heal, most of the time anyway. Veteran +1~2 normals with some running and dodging.
I dont have any good stuff mostly karma armor and masterwork weapons.
They could speed up the sceptre attack, basically it seems like most guardian attacks are quite slow. Mace has a horrible cast time for the third attack and staff is not really a good choice for range.
Do you mean fiery wrath and inspired virtue? If so then yes i do believe they stack. I use the combination myself.
I’m Specced 25(power/30(precision)/10(toughness)/5(honour)
I dont have any good armor basically using all Masterwork stuff and i think my stats are something like 12.7k hp, 35% crit and like 2.8-3k armor. I use the GS and mace+focus, usually i can handle 2-3 normal mobs no problem, Veteran + 1 mob is also fine most of the time, so it’s quite surprising to see why you are so fragile. I do have some vit gear though, trinkets and stuff.
Don’t forget about combos. The GS Symbol of Wrath and binding blades works well with each other. I believe it increase the DOT for binding blades.
GS + Scepter/Focus
All power stuff (power + precision). Heavy hitter. GS for melee, Scepter Focus for ranged.Currently 20/20/1/0/0 but going for 30/30/10/0/0 Pure offense type.
Anybody thinks there is a harder hitting build?
Haha, i’m going in the same direction too. Thought about making up the toughness and vit through equipment.
That’s subject to the person playing it. I’m having lots of fun with my guardian, i’m not playing it well but still having fun.
The sheild can only absorb arrows and not AOE spells from eles?
Well if you do like the look of a certain armor then use a transmutation stone and transmute the look to an armor with better stats.
It’s only the karma weapons/gear that’s not salvageable isn’t it? But is this new? Because i think i remember that i could salvage that stuff a couple of days ago.
Yeah they made it impossible to salvage karma stuff now.
As far as I know, I cannot change the colour of this?

Im new to the game as manny others and courious about apperience armor/slots/ well how do ? or is there any at all? I first thought your “town gear” was for app slots.
Atm got a culture armor mixed with a few others and realy love that app and want to stay with that look to well at least till I find something else I like more.
The transmutations stones? have that anything to do with that? And how does it work?
I think transmutation stone i believe takes the look/appearance of one item and imposes it on another, soi guess you can use transmutation stones to maintain a certain look, but i’m not sure how to use it :P
I use a HD5970 with v sync off, my fps fluctuates between 25-45 fps. I’ve not seen it reach 60 yet and most of my friends with high end cards are getting the same fps as me.
no elementalist in this game is dealing 7k a shot crits are only doing like 4k with full prec and power builds.
A warrior with a crit build can hit for 25k. And still wear heavy armor.
Elementalists need to do more damage if our squishiness is justified at all. There should be no question that elementalists do the most damage of any class.

Like many people, I am shooting for the human cultural tier 3 armor; and as we all know, that beast of an armor costs 119G for a whole set. Although I don’t really agree with the price, I’ve been saving up to get my hands on this.
Currently I have 12.6G, mainly from exploring maps, doing hearts and completing dungeons. I’ve started since the headstart launched (so about 2 weeks) and this is what I got. I have been slowing down on exploring because it’s too time consuming and am just doing dungeons now, occasionally selling on the trading post when I get good drops. If I have a good day, I make 1.5-2G a day.
What do you guys do make your money, and how effective is it?
Well you have another option, that is to use real money and get gems and sell/trade em for gold.
Are you serious? Selling Gems to get Gold is a total ripoff. 100 Gems for 50 Silver, as to 1 Gold for 400 Gems.
Wait … so you can buy 400 gems for 1 gold and then sell 100 gems for 50 silver? Thats a good way to make money. Buy gems with gold first then sell gems back for twice the price and double your money.
I’m experiencing the same with PvP; i see guardians catching me as an air elementalist with +68% movespeed; AFTER GETTING STUNNED ASWELL. Itskitten damage is fineish; needs a slight buff; but air elementalist is supposed to be fastest in the game and its not; by far

Elementists definitely need some love, especially when warriors and thiefs are doing way more damage in heavy and medium armor… Eles damage needs buffed they hit like a wet noodle. I don’t even worry about eles when I’m playing my other toons in pvp.
Their AOEs do deal a significant amount of dmg. Maybe it’s the gear that you are using that’s affecting dmg.
I don’t see the AMD Radeon HD 6410D on there, but I’m supposing it’d be above the 5800 series and below the 6700 series.
I dont think the 6400 series can beat the 5800 series. I’m not too sure but i think the 5800 series and 6700 series should be nearly on par with each other.
