Hi i want to make a quick hello as it is my return to the game after a year and a half away. i played gw1 and aso gw2 til the end, but was unhappy with the very limited release of endgame content. But finnaly after hearing what we’ve all been asking for, the expansion is here and a lot of us will be coming back)
just thught id say) this game looks promising like the good gw1)

ahhhhhhhhhh good to know that its not just me….ive nearly downloaded the whole game but now i cant keeps saying error….

this is absolutely ridiculous ive been playing gw2 fine since release and i took a huge break now im back and i am downloading the client and now i am nearly done it keeps saying conenction error. and says i have 22 files left then 3…what? its not my internet and its not my firewall or security since it always worked perfectly..please fix

I have given up completely with this game at the moment. I only log on to create my legendary then after that I’m out. Until Anet wake up and smell the burning coffee, that a 1.5 year game needs a fresh coat of paint via an expansion ..then there is honestly nothing to do. I log in and think OK let’s play…then I realize that there is absolutely nothing once Icompleted the game in my own way. Its ESO next for me. Have fun playing these wishy washy excuse of updates and your 1000000×10^99897 grind mats for a mini.

Any thoughts on this?

Reading that got me so excited…then i realised Anet will never do this. Anet expansion is more Gem shop items !!! New rng box with a chance of being able to open it..with a chance of getting another box with a chance of getting 50 copper.
Otherwise great stuff. Really looking forward to something like this in the future.

Please Arena net fix the karma nerf and restore it to how it was. you claimed that gw2 was the mmo to break away from the grind yet you blatantly make us grind karma now. to get 200 obsidian shards, you need 210000 karma…but because you nerfed it will take a year or more to grind this out. Karma was so fun to get because there was a lot and not many things to spend on..i was looking forward to spending it on new released things…but no…you nerf it so now new players are left out completely and will have to spend 5 years to get a legendary weapon (exaggeration but near enough).
Please restore it to how it was. Please respond !

I am burned out now …after getting 100%map complete ..my best armour..stats..weapons..achievements..titles…there is nothing left to do. I log in once ebery 2 weeks to see the new LS..then log out again after is is just as disappointing. I wanted to go for a legendary…created gift of mastery.got dawn…then gift of fortune and gift of sunrise require over 700g to make….so its a no go for me..been playing ESO beta now. Anet make DRAGONS and Ecpand the GW universe.you claim it is a Living Story…well it isng..its a dead story about scarlet…

My internet is perfectly fine after running speed tests and generally just loading wepages, now when i log in, i instantly get white screened disconnected…then join dungein white screened…never happened before after playing for 1 year..this seemed to happen after this new tower of nightmares patch ive been having loads of connection issues in the game. please help

Thats it…there is no fun anymore. Dont get me wrong..the patch looksreally nice with the tower and whatnot..but the reward..a 5skillpoint scroll Rofl and a shard with a daily limit ofcourse. No new title or cool skins which we can get. This game is going downhill..

Well, buy an extra account to satisfy your ego. Why in the world would you want to see your own name ? Exept for autosatisfaction.
You should find yourself some friends under your leach that follows you because you are so magnificent so you will always have a target on you because you deserve it…
Though I’d like to see my own name because I love my characters name but I find it unfair that others can appreciate its magnificence while I can’t, even if I’m the one who chose it.

Thanks yes. Its just a very simple feature which has a big effect imo. Being able to see our names and title and most of all GOLD star which we worked for should be visible. As far as i know i just choose title and thats it. Cant even see it. Please Anet respond to add this very very small update.

At moogooloo waypoint in viathan lake there is a task asking you to help quaggans by killing krait ect. But you cant since this big forcefield just pushes you away. How do you do this?! Thanks

That seems like a host connection issue with the pug..AC isnt bugged that way. Try again and it will work

If i was to buy anything from the gem store it would be a race change. Just being able to change my horrible charr to a norn would make the game fun again. As a charr i feel as if there is no point playing since all armours are just stretched and lool horrible. As a result i am leveling a new alt gaurdian to 80 and making her my main..

Huh? This has nothing to do with tokens . This is to do with the actual armour pieces which we have. We should be able to place it in a set box, Citadel of Flame Heavy Armour set. Double click to withdraw pieces. Then the pieces then go in inventory. Then when we want to clear space. Havr the option to place in a box set. Its about space management.

We should have an option to place armour sets eg. Full CoF armour into a box of some sort..that way it saves space and we can then also collect more armour pieces. When we want to use the set we have boxed..we simply double click and the armour pieces appear in our inventory. Let me know what you guys think.

I think dyes should be account bound.
1- There are so many dyes, some people may want to collect them and thus get as many dyes as possible for their own reasons. to then make that available to one character, and not another removes that sense of achievement.
2- Some dyes are really expensive abyss, celestial, pyre ect. I myself saved up for abyss and celestial and now I am playing a new character i feel as though i should be obliged to use the dyes i bought since i put so much time in getting them. So it should be account bound.
3- You can purchase 10 unidentified dyes with account bound laurels , therefore the reward (dyes) should be account bound too.
Let me know what you think. I think this would be a good small update.

I realllllly love the charr tier 3 cultural and i have enough gold to buy the full set. I think this is a good end game set to buy since i can juat transmute my armour to get my desired stats. I have been saving up for this for ages and now i am wondering whether to buy. In my opinion…gold in gw2 is used for 3 main things..Dyes, Legendaries and Cultural. Basically aesthetic purposes. So if i buy t3 then i will be very poor. Although i have over 300k karma and quite a lot of badges laurels ect. So should i buy? I am worried that once i buy it i will be poor in gold and it might affect my gameplay. Please could anyone share their thoughts. Thanks

Run lots of dungeons, knock out all the jumping puzzles and mini dungeons… I don’t know where exactly that’ll get you but it will help. There’s no way to get there really fast though.

I saw these really good looking shoulders called hellfire mantle which would look really cool with my charr warrior. But i have 2k AP , is there any way to get to 6k fast?

At level 80 what is a good zerker build for pve? Traits? Weapons? Ect.

Gaurdians: Defense orientated. If you like to heal a lot in dungeons wvw ect, as well as doing some decent damage then roll a gaurdian.
Warrior: Offense orientated. If you like being at the forefront of battle and damaging high dps, then roll a warrior.
Personally i prefer Warriors. They are a lot more fun to play. You can use greatswords shortswords hammer axe rifle and mace. So you can always rotate and get good combos. I use greatsword as my primary weapon and rotate around dual axes. Warriors also dont have to work as hard to get high damage..they are definitelly the highest damage in the game if you know how to play a warrior. I made a gaurdian and found i was limited. You can use greatsword shortsword mace staff and scwpter and focua. So more mage focused. The only good thing imo is the easy speedbuffs..otherwise gaurdian gets very boring. Depends on your playstyle. Do you want to tank and heal or tank and damage? Warrior is the way to go. Plus why use stakitten and scepters when you can have axes and maces ")
