Main hand dagger #3 should have an evade. Attacks are too slow. Dagger feels muddy and lacklustre. Beastmode offers good variation overall. Stances are buggy, especially dolyak.
I’m now noticing pet going invisble for a short duration after swapping. I don’t think it will cause any issues, but seems like a minor bug.

Condi reapers are pretty easy to kill in wvw too for a Druid. Reapers don’t really make for good 1v1 capabilities.
For pvp and wvw, I love sword and axe. All melee weapons are pretty useful.

Crutches don’t help either. Fact is people got used to crazy sustain with high damage and amazing ability to chase down foes. Lets top it up with some blocks and reflects too. Time to get real.

Rewards are bad. There is no real incentive. I would rather do a ranked game every day and unranked build experiements other. The rewards need to be like last season to encourage me to put me ranking at stake. Currently , why should I bother?
25% bonus condi duration is the worst thing I could imagine. Why do you really need to change sigils? This all seems like a bad idea.

The amout of gimmicks in gw2 only make it a good casual player’s pvp. I don’t really see any competitive potential in this game.
As a necromancer you can’t kill anyone in this meta in 1v1.

Necros are very capable of 1v1. With DH, all that matters is not walking into their traps and carefully waiting to burst during a window of opportunity.
While I understand that warrior needs good sustain, the amount of sustain the class has is rather incredible. Condi and power both fail. To make it worse, you can’t easily kite them either. On top of that there is access to too much stability. This is the only class that feels really tanky with berserker amulet.
I won’t wish for too much nerf, but some correction is surely required.
Isn’t this where Mal and the alliance is? If yes, I’m staying miles away.

So then here’s the issue. For ranged class, their walking speed is too slow and the Warrior with a GS can slow them down further and catch them with the traited speed boost. Potentially reducing the speed boost % offers a solution. However, it it goes too low, it will become very hard for a Warrior to catch ranged classes. That’s the nature of this game. Ranged need to be able to smartly disengage and melee need to be able to get in close range.
In terms of on point damage and ability to pin down ranged there, I don’t think there’s any issue. If you are ranged, you can’t expect to fight a warrior head on. Defeats the purpose of the class.
Untrue. If I can’t defeat a warrior ( and I can some of the time ) it defeats the purpose of a roaming class such as Mesmer or Thief. What does it matter if I roam and can’t take a point?
The role of ranged light roaming class is not to get to an enemy point where a warrior already is and take it head on. If you think so, you’re mistaken. You will have to range it and kill it before taking the point.
You don’t use ports/blinks for speed? So if you are running up on a point and the enemy is 2 ticks away from capping/decapping the point, you don’t blink to get there faster?

The evade on vault is truly cancerous. I’d surely like to see it gone.
All, except 2, are good changes.
How exactly can a warrior be faster than your ports and blink? Or even thief shortbow and swiftness on dodge? Sure warrior has faster movement speed with melee weapons and GS offers some great mobility, still it can’t match your mobility. Eg, you can teleport up on maps like Khylo, warrior can’t.
Warrior is what warrior should be.
What do you expect from a close range melee offensive class? You think a DH should be more dps overall? Necro reaper is ok?
Most classes are OP now. And that balances well. Only Rev needs fixing and some buffs.
When will the necro viable in raids?
When Rangers become viable in zergs.
I’d like a shield. Why? Because I have a legendary shield. It’s all about me.
Druid brings sustained dps and some support. A shield would make us more effective in melee and support. Would love it.

I’m really glad team queue is gone from competitive. Duo should be next to go. Your skill should be based on your own merit. Balancing is way easier to achieve with solo q.
Pin sniping is a legitimate tactic that should be encouraged rather than discouraged. Shame on commanders who can’t sort it out with their group of 30+. Take your dead kitten elsewhere.

If you can annoy someone in a fight, to a point that they consider giving up and leaving, you’ve won! It’s boring true, but it works.
Honestly, none of these issues are big deal to me. Sure, matchmaking still needs improvement, but it’s way better than last season. Previous Season systems were garbage, that’s why noone cares who was what division then.
Things aren’t as bad as they were last season. Now that’s a step forward. The placement tiers need more but but sure are way better than what we’ve had. The classes are more balanced. You can’t really make this game perfectly balanced. Matchmaking is better but needs solution to pick right class mix.
The big negatives I see are around d HoT. Elite spec is poorly designed in general. We accept it as we don’t have much options ; at least till next expansion. Build diversity may return one day with signification changes.
I quite like the ascended rewards. No harm pipe guys farming it. Even in raked. I’d rather have a wider community than the niche pvp elites alone. Let them learn. Not having to get gear from pve is surely a bonus.
Arena Net lock Blackgate right now. Just check your logs and see the mass transfers just already started. This was a mistake. I understand that this is automated but still a very bad mistake. BG is at risk of absorbing very large guilds on off peak hours when they already have that coverage. BG equates to World 1: 95% and we all know it.
Right now there is no server to compete against BG and you’ve made it so that BG can receive more numbers. The amount of guilds now deciding to go to BG is anywhere from 6 to 8 guilds..this does not include singular players. This effects coverage largely and goes against what you’re trying to do.
The longer BG stays open, the more imbalance created. The more you’ll have to resort to forcing movement of players.
What a load of rubbish. BG is doing well as BG does not create drama like stupid alliances band wagoners. Population facts have been shared and I hope they are simple enough for you to get your head around.

You just came back and know quite a lot about what the community needs? Dragonhunter might seem cheese to play, but is not OP in any way. Too easy to dodge and put them on CD. Like guardian, most elites got buffs in Elite spec. You seriously need to L2P more than anything.
BTW, i don’t play guard at all. Too boring for me.

This..is precisely the reason. The balance was never right. We saw classes going OP to Trash and the other way all over the last 3 years or so. Ambitious attempts to add elements of fun have almost always gone bad. May it be introduction of runes (e.g. perplexity) or new specialisations. HoT was the starting point for the demise.
The game is old enough be carried on by gimmicks and grinding. Add some substance and we might take it seriously.
1. ANeT is the administrator for this game.
2. Being an ANeT dev should be considered a privilege and it should not be used to favor any server.
3. ANeT claiming any objective in WvW shows favoritism.
4. Showing any favoritism of any kind to specific servers is extremely unprofessional.
I’m sure that ANET is capable enough to share the favoritism around to maintain balance. I see no issue whatsoever with what they are doing. In fact, I find it encouraging for the community. I love seeing the development team actively participating in the gameplay and being visible. It shows that they care.
Where is the option to empty the recycle bin and permanently delete the filthy DBLs?
