Why the leaderboards are not spilt into guild/team and solo (only solo join) ?
I think this would motivate solo players and teams much more then the system right now…
another idea: why not make the rank visible in the name tag ingame…
with 20 sec global cd this triat is pointless for ppl which use more then one kit…20s for every kit would be ok but global….is just lol

Every feature they mentioned is the majority of everything people wanted. Well, except dueling. …… That is, easy and open.
and except more game modes (capture flag….)
all classes have the same problem…
if think about my ele its all about 0/10/0/30/30 or 0/10/10/20/30

with the trait changes in BWE3 they sadly cut away many builds and therefore the variety
with flag you move 50% slower
that would be the problem of the community…on 1vs1 servers you cannot decide who you want to fight nor you can watch others
Just make few servers where you don´t get any points by capping points and by doing kills!
Take the Legacy of the Foefire map which has a big center point. On the higher spots around the center point ppl can watch and wait for duels!
If player want to make a duel, they should look for a opponent and jump in front of him. If he jumps too then you can go to mid and fight.
This would be an easy and fast way to implement duels temporarily till you add it as a officially feature where you get glory and stuff.

exactly! So basically I have two options in Free tournament:
-get farmed from premade
-farm randoms in a premade
In paid tournament you have to wait very long and then get matched up with a top team to get farmed again
Is it just me or do you get bored after one or two pvp matches too? always the same gamemode…!
Spvp is all about pointless zerg – most of the time with 100 mesmer or thieves
In free tournament premade grps farm randoms
So where is the fun? Since release I don´t see any progress in spvp!
there is big skill cap between classes and HS is the best example for this. Its a charge with huge dmg, autoface and you can kitten spam it!
Just buff the other weapon sets of the thief class and in the same turn pls change this spam playstyle. If this happen I will go back to my thief

Reasons:
no ladders /rankings
waaaaaaay to less viable builds
big skillcap between classes
only one game pvp mode
no xp from pvp
all about burst or bunker
too much clones/pets/illusions and other crap in pvp
way to less statistic
overall balance decisions are bad – best example mesmer
huge nerf against kit engineer…now we have 0 chance against any condition class
there is one big difference between thief and ele…..you actually need skill in order to be good as ele!
bunker builds have been a problem from the get go. boon removal is rare outside of necros. they need a general nerf. Burst also needs nerf, just not as big a nerf as bunkers.

Since you already mentioned some changes about ranger classes for the patch on 14/12….Can you give us a short preview about changes of all classes? Do you try to fix bunker builds?
nice informations but until February/march is a very long time…I hope its not already to late
regarding thief the funny thing is that they nerf the other viable build…. so the result is even more thieves will play backstab builds

According to description this rune should give 15% bleed duration… but it doesn´t work for me!

The only thing which is op is quickness combined with pistol whip….
Why they not just nerf the quickness/frenzy skills in this game instead of hurting ppl which use pistol whip without those skills?!
Not warriors hundred blades or Thiefs pistol whip are the problem…quickness is! I hope Anet will realize this…
just reduce cd (and duration of conditon effect) in order to make them more situationally…
agree to Op venoms need some changes…but your idea seem to be very complicated

There isn’t much info on it, does it work with other players poison fields or skills?
The venom we have only last a few attacks so the uptime is like 15% which is too low.

That´s why they should reduce the cd of venoms but in order to balance… the conditions too

yeah but the heal on stealth is not “crazy”
further if you go for condition dmg mug dmg is not very high?!
Try pistol/dagger, focus on condition damage and healing, shadow arts and trickery, buff your Steal ability as much as possible. You can get some crazy heals and bleeds from cloak and dagger + sneak attack and you can kite very well too, and most of all, it’s fun!
can you please more specific…how you get crazy heals? why is steal so important?
I´n my opinion venoms have way to long cd to be real choice!
For example if you choose “spider venom” which is not bad on paper because you can poisen your enemy for a long time.
The problem is: a decent enemy will use condition removal and the result is that my skill is on 45sec cd and i cannot use it again in this fight…which is stupid for a skill which just applies conditions
Easy fix could be reduce the cd down to 20sec but in the same turn reduce the duration of the condition effect!
so change for example from: 45sec cd — 6s poison per strike --—> to 20sec cd and 3s poison per strike.
What if all kits have passive buff ?
for example:
elixir gun at level 80 gives 50 healing and 50 condition damage
flamethrower 50 power 50 condition damage
bomb kit 50 vit 50 toughness
grenade kit 50 crit damage 50 Precision
med kit +20% resurrection speed +50 healing
passive effects would fit better to gadgets since they are very …meh
agree to OP concerning the number of clones, pets! further I agree that there is to much burst in this game…it reduces the skill of the fights in my opinion
The worst situation is in Tpvp atm…you just need many guardiens and mesmer maybe a good engineer in order to win!
Since shadow protector heal yourself too….Does the healing/regeneration stack in duration or do I get two 2 regeneration/healing buffs if i have both traits?

No they don’t.
Which for me, makes adrenal implant a pretty poor grandmaster trait.
yes ranger have the same trait as minor adept trait…so they have to spend 10 points to get it XD
