Strange how other people who are caught account sharing, real money trading, or match manipulation, get their accounts closed permanently. Yet this group gets to keep their accounts simply because they competed in tournys before.

And since there isn’t a whole lot to stop them from opening new alt accounts thanks to F2P, and an abundance of inexpensive xpac keys floating around, they aren’t really losing much.

Because IWAY, SWAY, HexWAY, MM Factory, and TrapWAY where balanced. And they totally didn’t remove Hero Battle, and Team Arena, because they couldn’t balance them.

No, the original [EvIL] only played this game for a few months after its release, and they were known as “Azubu Last Pride”. None of the actual EvIL members still play, sadly.

The only team members that came from the original GW1 guild were:
Last of Master
Danjang
Only One Star
Bloodlight
WooNoRi

This is very inaccurate, Carbine. Danjang had thought about creating us again, however did not. We did Beta play and did like the foreplay of the pvp system. If you Gw1’d, then you would also know who SUP and CRY were. We have 5 OG’s, including my self. Any time you’d like to take a walk down memory lane on GW1 we can log on any time.

They left because they didn’t like the way PvP worked and felt the game was very imbalanced. They(Danjang specifically)also didn’t like the lack of a “healer” class. None of the actual EvIL members play this game anymore.

It isn’t fair to the team when a player leaves early, which is why you should only play in tounrys when you know you can stay. 72 hours is a bit harsh, but just a few hours sounds to lenient.

This is kind of a bad idea. It would be unfair to the person on the other team being locked out, just because someone on the other team didnt show up. And looking for someone to join a game in progress is a bad idea as well, because of the possibility of joining a losing team.

PvPers should be the Richest Players.

PvPers should not be the richest. PvP is extremely easy and doesn’t require as much time as PvE grinding.

Vee Wee never hit rank 80, she just says she did for attention. She never shows an account that has hit 80, and claims that “it breaks the game” and her “hitting 80 made her main account unplayable”. The truth is, no one is rank 80 yet, its impossible. Once you hit 70, you are half way to 80, and people are just starting to hit early 70’s.

No one really knows why they made the mistake of not implementing GvG into gw2, but I and I’m sure many others would like to know, and if there are any plans on putting an official ranked GvG game mode.

Just because we don’t have any plans to remove skyhammer from solo arena right now, doesn’t mean we aren’t kicking around ideas. I can’t get into much detail about it, but we’re trying to figure out how to measure it’s effect on solo arena.

I love how this is such a typical ANet response. Keep everything extremely vague in order to keep the concerned pacified while the devs do less for the game than the players do (just look at the Balance forum). There is absolutely no transparency here, and quite frankly, it’s extremely frustrating for those of us that are actually concerned about this game. The next balance patch, from what we’ve been hearing, is still ages away (though, not surprisingly, even a rough time frame is difficult to determine due to ANet’s policy of keeping everything as vague as possible), and people want to know that things are going to change for the better if they actually have to wait for that long. These types of responses are not helpful to the community whatsoever.

…Sorry if that sounded ominous.

I wish I could +1 this post a thousand times, then do it again another thousand times. Anet needs to communicate better with its community, especially now when many new MMO’s and games in general are coming out. When game company’s are constantly vague, its a huge problem, and its not OK. VoTF wrote a few really good articles on this before they decided to leave Guild Wars, articles I think Anet needs to read and consider.

I can also confirm this. I cant even warp out of Lions Arch, or I get disconnected. When I re log in, i get the loading screen of the place I tried to warp to, but then get warped back to LA saying “Waypoint Contested”(this happened when warping to Rata Sum, and Divnity’s Reach, I also get deducted the money for the warp.

There is no point in posting on the forums the same day a ticket it made. It wont speed anything up, and it just clutters up the forum. Nothing can be done about this. A serial code can only be used once, to make one account. If you want additional accounts you have to purchase additional keys.

You are talking on subjects you have no clue about mercury. Don’t pull this into they can do what they want they cannot. It is sueable and people have sued and won cases linked to random bans.

Mercury is actually very dead on. You should take a good look at the End User Agreement. It does say they can terminate an account at their own discretion, and you did agree too this in order to play the game. As far as you attempting to get a refund, there is something about too in the agreement you should take a look at.

If you are in fact innocent on this, Support will help you.

“We are confident in our decision” frankly is not good enough for me, because the decision is wrong.

In the T.O.S. you did agree too in order to play the game states that you agree with whatever decision they make.

And the only reason you will get for the ban, is the one they give you in your support tickets. When they say they have full confidence in a decision, that means they did investigate the case and found enough evidence to warrant the ban. They are also very good at figuring out if accounts had been hacked or not.

I am really doubting if the support team has ability to determine which is exploit. we are considering looking for attorney’s help if my friend’s last ticket is denied again

If you really do get an attorney, I hope you have a a lot of time to waste, and money to burn. NCsoft and ArenaNet are very well protected legally. In the EULA and the TOS you did agree to in order to play the game basically says they can terminate your account with whatever reason they see fit, and you are agreeing and saying that they can.

Should you press on and demand a refund, that may lead to account termination.

This is actually incorrect. They will only terminate an account if the buyer initiates a charge back, as they do not offer refunds for Gem purchases. They will also terminate an account if the buyer requests a refund on the game itself.

This game has a filter.

People who are easily offended need to use it. The reporting and suspending for offensive language is quite frankly user error on the part of the offended.

Also the agreements you click on at the beginning of the game will not hold up in the court of law. They’ve been overturned repeatedly.

Yes they can, but you were not banned, you were only suspended.

It is very doubtful that they would roll your account back. They need proof beyond a reasonable doubt that your account was compromised. And there is no way that they would be able to tell that your story is true
