My Necromancer <3 I have to say by far one of my favorite classes.

I know I have had a similar issue and the solution to it I found was to uninstall the Nvidia 3D Vision Drivers and everything that has something to do with it. (Do not uninstall your video drivers or sound). After this reboot your computer and load back up GW2, hopefully the artifacts and the card will stop with freezing up. Being as how I work in the computer field Nvidia needs to pull its head out their kitten and look at its firmware more. The 3D vision drivers seem to cause a lot of problems. I hope this solves your issue.

I might as well chip in too. I have checked all connections, my own Computer, Router, even call the ISP to check it out on there end. Even spent money for them to come and RE CHECK what I looked at… (which was both sad and funny since I’m a 15 year computer engineer), and guess what, not a kitten thing wrong. Unfortunately, being as this is the Independence weekend, I doubt anyone cares or will bother with fixing this or even do I dare say respond to this thread. Lets just hope this is resolved in a somewhat timely fashion so that some of us may enjoy the new content.

Nope, that picture was taken today, I actually wrote the post and jumped in game and took the pic.

I don’t comment much but I am afraid I have to side with those that rather like the megaserver change. I have seen very little lag, and very little in the way of gold sellers as well. Having maps now that don’t feel like a complete desolation is a good thing imo. Perhaps it may be my system, which is as follows:

Not a bunch of people but the settings in my attachment is what I use in WvW and World events as well, large zergs it will drop to about 40 to 30 fps. Otherwise it sits at 60.

I will admit, I have a dark war, but, I also have a very light guard. Imo, my story for them, they are yin and yang. Everything in balance.

After playing all the different classes, leveling them and getting ascended/exotic gear… hands down my warrior is the best looking imo.

For what it is worth, I am actually glad this time I listened to my guild and friends, as I’m not even going to bother with it. They all despise it, made some good arguments and I think I might have actually lost a guild member cause of this new SaB… lol. Whatever, I have been noticing a trend with this game, and I’m sure I don’t even have to say it.

Just wanted to chip in also, seeing as how this is going to end soon. But I’m getting rather tired of bugs/glitches or whatever you would like to call it, that’s keeping me from completing this. I am eternally stuck at 11/13, I have done every map, with no DC or anything “Multiple” times. What gives? Now am I suppose to rush around all day and hope this achievement un-bugs/glitches? Cookie to the 1st Dev. that responds to this :p

I am having the same issue. I can run the game at max settings and still pull decent frames, CPU and RAM on my end are checked out and fine. My Internet connection is good and stable, in fact, this is funny, as I’m writing this the game crashed. How is it that after this patch now, something else is broken? (sarcasm) Not to mention the missing minis, minis fighting/taking damage…. I could go on but will only kitten me off more.

I know I posted this before, and I know I have stated my reasoning on why this event troubles me. The boss is hard, the way it should be. The problem I have Isn’t just the bugs, the camera, etc.. Its also for a little known fact I keep to myself, but what the heck, contacting support has done nothing except a very nicely worded letter containing basically, get someone to do it for you. I’m colorblind, and I cannot see the red circles. Red turns a almost gray-ish brown color to me, mix that with the grating on the floor, I might as well be completely blind. My BF has tried helping with telling when to dodge, which way to run.. all of which becomes very tiresome and frustrating. I suppose, if one shot mechanics were not in play, as I don’t think they ever should be imo, then maybe I would have a chance. I am glad though that many do enjoy it. I wish I could.

This fight alone has me frustrated, and its not because she is difficult, she is no doubt, but the game fails to make it playable. At least to me, and I’m sure I’m not the only one. This fight is almost totally about luck, fighting a failed camera and way to short of time frame. Bugs galore, nothing like starting a fight and seeing someone in there with you… or left over oozes… or the fact that the only way to destroy one of the orbs is with the strict use of a melee weapon. ( I heard AOE’s work to, but in my X Number of tries I had no luck). Not mention, and thankfully someone had pointed this out, turning off post processing effects if you don’t want a seizure. Sorry, I have been able to trudge along with these new roll-outs of content. But this combined with all the activity below, wp costs.. (seriously….) and armor damage is just to much. This is challenging, and I was excited when I had heard about it. In fact, I completed all of the achievements cept for the ones dealing with this particular boss. But to many bugs, to many negatives over a short span of time has turned my guild and myself off for now. Hopefully they hear the people and something can be done, but sadly I do not hold any reservations to that happening seeing as how many things need much more attention then even this, yet still nothing done.

As far as I know, the sigil only activates when you switch “weapons” and not attunements. And Ele’s only have, or aloud to have one weapon so that sigil will probably not work.

No skins here either, and I was really looking forward to this..

I agree too OP, in fact my boyfriend bought me Skyrim Legendary Edition, since I love exploring and moving about at my own pace with whatever character I want. I dont have to play a Zerker War/Guard/Mes. Think I lost my love of this game when the RNG boxes started churning out and every place that for the few hours I had to farm for Mats for a Legendary, keeps getting nerfed into the ground. Oh well, I got my moneys worth I suppose. They had a nice thing going but somewhere they lost it. :/

I actually have to agree with a few other posters here, a constrictor pet, Boa, (could immobilize) or Anaconda, (could cause fear) would be really neat, not to mention, its animation for passive/inactive/out of combat standing around picking your nose could have it wrap around you like a real snake would.

Not a bug pre-se, but more to do with that runes, (example ranger runes), you were not getting the full benefit from having only 1, even though it might have shown you were. Runes that are on your PVP armor also show on your PVE armor. Hence the 7/6, was before reading your runes on your PVP set as well. However, these do not count towards your PVE armor. You will need, in order to have the full effect again, have 6 Superior ranger runes.

Ty Krall, I think I understand now. Still yet, fact remains, I had no idea RNG was involved. Had I known, I would not of thrown RL money into it. I feel duped and cheated. Oh well, just my feeling.

Not sure where to put this, would like a dev response to it as I’m not sure if bug or intended, but, least as a warning to everyone else, DO NOT buy these dyes. As the description says, you should receive one random color from the new spectrum. Plus 6 other new exclusive colors. I might have read that wrong, however I find for my hard earned money that I used for something nice to have, to only receive ONE, Frosting DYE… one… most expensive dye I have ever bought. Completely wasted money, slap in the face, and honestly quite a turnoff from this game. Again, if anything, this is just a heads up.

I have the same problem with my Mesmer, except only in one place.. around the waist. I went ahead and got the T3 Human cultural armor that took forever to get the gold for, and now, one little piece is driving me crazy. The dye in question though, yes only one dye seems to cause this, is my Illumination Dye. My Celestial, Sapphire, Redemption and Amber work fine. But for some reason the Ill Dye, the second I try to view it in game, it reverts to “dye remover”. Annoying yes, game breaking no. Would be nice to have a fix though. Might not even be the armor, maybe it has something to do with the dyes.

This is not a rant, but merely a statement. I’m done, least till changes are made that are both worthwhile and rewarding to all that play/enjoy the game. I have now seen 2 events come and go, and now as my personal life prohibited me from the apparent splendor of the rewards I have heard about, I do not fault for something that was beyond your control. However, what is in your control is the amount of time you allow for people to enjoy said content, play ability of said content, (lag spikes, random dc’ing) and as well, lessen the rewards to not start pumping out precursors like a vending machine. Seriously, I think that probably has me erk-ed the most. People who have played for countless hours, both with skill and luck, and not to mention a ton of gold, has only half a chance at a precursor, yet, people who came in to try the game on the free trial, … well, you know the rest. These events have also shown me that your system of implementation, is flawed. I know most of my guild could not even attempt the scavenger hunt due to bugs, glitches, etc etc. And not to mention but the event itself was apparently a disaster in its own right, again, lag, dc’ing, etc etc. Also know this information came from close friends and guild members of mine, as I had other responsibilities to attend to. I hope for future events being planned, more time is looked into how to make them run properly, as opposed to, throw it out there and cross fingers and hope for the best. Many parts of this game are broken, and try as I might to over look them, I find that this is just to much. This game has many things going for, it truly dose. But with the many things it has going for it, it currently has that many going against it. I would simply implore that you listen to your player base. Thank you.
