Search and Rescue is 100% fine and balanced.
Druids have garbage dps outside of (dodgeable) pet burst and get kitten on by decent revs/reapers despite their “amazing sustain”.
So, ANET intelligently gives them a utility skill to make them more desirable in teams.
Not many people play druid, so there is a lot of class envy going on right now.
Notice how no one is crying about function gyro despite it being ridiculously overpowered with a short CD.

Druids are fine. Easily killable with horrible DPS (aside from pet burst which is easy to dodge).
This is a L2P issue plain and simple.

Chrono was heavily nerfed ( even chrono shatter – alacrity, nerf, quickness stomp/rezz nerf, Sigil of energe nerf, etc) +buffed thief . I have feelings like chrono is low/mid tier now.Btw, Chip Skylark.2367 wanna try some BO5 where you on chono shatter (with moa) and me on any other class on your choice (build choice is still mine though)

And no, I don’t play mesmer. I don’t like the idea of hiding behind stealth/clones like a coward and using dirty broken tricks like Moa! Not my style.

My fury is directed towards poor balancing. It is not my fault if the mesmers on this forum take the game so seriously that they feel the need to resort to ad-hominem arguments.

Not sure if joke or troll?… But if not, you could just doge into the illusions regardless of Moa and mitigate most if not all of the damage? If you are constantly getting surrounded by illusions where you cannot, you are bad at positioning and need to work on that :/
For shatters to be effective you need to hit with multiple shatters, to achieve max damage (which I want to point out is still less than what a thief can pull off in the same duration with better escape) that is 6 cool downs or 4 cooldowns and 2 doges and this is presuming they didn’t die in Cleave/AoE <- on top of this most weapon sets only have one clone generator and one phantasm.
Easy damage to mitigate, long set up, kite and kill able sustain.
Also since energy sigil nerfs that means no more free clones.
For chrono specifically with the changes to alacrity they cannot do their long combo as frequent, and chrono line gives up a rather large chunk of defense or offense compared to the 5 core lines for the exchange of a bit more efficientcy and frequency. (Which really if it was not for the added mobility and CS the line wouldn’t be worth it)
If you see CS rift dropped just kite and wait it out, not like they can cap the point anyways, it’s easy to play around.
If you run at it and let him pop all his C/Ds or don’t predict key cool downs coming after stealth for those few seconds, well then it’s your own fault.
This was all relevant 1v1 but as you may know the game is not balanced around 1v1, so if you get blind sided and die to a +1 don’t get so salty?
Also if a Mesmer moas me regardless of what I am playing at the time (except Moa is actually a DPS buff as a Mesmer lol) I can still kill him. <-mesmers predictably use it as an “oh kitten button” or as an opener to gain momentum (which really shouldn’t be done since it’s not good reactive play imo). Both ways are easy to play around.

If (and this is a big IF) it is possible to survive 1v1 while in Moa form, it still means that you are 100% a free kill in a team fight vs a coordinated team.
Once per minute, a Mesmer can turn the tide of a team fight with just one skill. How is that balanced? Especially when you add portal and insane burst into the equation.
And to all the “Moa survivors”, you must have been facing some pretty horrible players if they weren’t able to finish you. I’m sorry but this is a fact.
Double Moa at the start of the game means that your team can essentially turn a 4v4 into a 4v2. This should not be a thing.
You guys can call me a troll all you want, but this thread is getting attention so enjoy your broken class while you can.

U can abuse portal like hell. If a Rev does sword 3 on u, just use portal. He has to follow u, then u portal back and the Rev will never been seen again. Easy 4vs5 at this point.
Seriously i stopped playing Mesmer because nothing can stop me, so boring.
In coordinated group play, portal is easily the most valuable skill in Guild Wars 2 Spvp.
And it’s on a 40 sec CD.
I didn’t even think of the revenant juke, that’s insane.
Why has no one even mentioned portal? I’m honestly beginning to think you’re all Mesmer mains.
Let’s list the problems with shatter mesmer for people who are just tuning in.
1. Short CD 100-0 Burst
2. Decoy+Moa (guaranteed free kill) roughly every minute.
3. Portal (The most broken skill in GW2 Esports on a 40 second cooldown with Alacrity)
If you can’t see how broken this is, I’m just going to assume you’re here to troll. No other class can touch a good shatter mesmer. This is a fact.
Yes mesmer shld be nerfed till they only have auto attack and nothing else. Free food. Lets nerf the mesmer to accomodate someone’s lack of skill. Moa already have a cast time and long cd and can be blocked, just make it uncastable.
Again… stealth + Moa.
Good luck blocking/dodging something that you can’t see.
Or you can daze into Moa.
If mesmers want to keep Moa that bad, then they should give up something else. Like stealth. Stealth is supposed to be for Thieves anyway. Why do mesmers even need it?
Mesmer deals damage, anet pls. They have quickness and blink and moa and stealth and alacrity and buffed scepter and 7 specialisations with all traits at the same time.
Decrease their damage by 33% and decrease their base health by 66%. And when they use elite they should get stunned for 5 sec. And remove their blur.
Mesmer main btw. So disgusted that todays mesmer is so ez faceroll, mesmers used to require skill! Kappa

It doesn’t take Helseth level skill to press decoy and then press Moa.
After that, if you can’t kill a bird, you’re probably a vegetarian in which case there is no hope for you.

Moa is just dumb. A free kill almost every minute? With stealth it leaves no room for counterplay.
And that burst damage. Helseth is still blowing people up in 2 seconds with Greatsword burst.
Mesmer needs to be nerfed. A lot. Right now. Alacrity nerf was not enough.
DH counters thief because 1 true shot takes half the thiefs health and 1 trap also takes half the thiefs health
but if the theif masterfully dodges everything like pro esports champion he can win

Whenever they pan to a necro in pro league, you can see that they’re just spamming all their skills on CD
You could slow down and think about what to press but this would most likely just lower your dps while very occasionally making you more strategically effective

These are good changes, except for removing Soldier. Soldier is a decent amulet that’s not game-breaking like celestial was.
There’s a PVT amulet to replace it, Paladin.
1050 Power, 1050 Precision, 560 Toughness, 560 Vitality.
are you kidding? there is a huge difference between paladins and soldiers amulet..
just besides soldier gives 440 more vit and thoughness so it is far more defensiv. Paladin is an rather offensive amulet and provides way highter dps than soldiers..im fact he was right removing soldier will remove build diversity. it never made any problems or was used for op builds. And soldier wasnt a meta option in the last 3 years..
Soldier has 340 more vit/toughness, not 440.
Soldier’s was a great amulet and I also wish it stayed in the game. It suited some classes exceptionally well without making them too tanky.
For example, power necro receives a 50% increased chance to crit from Death Perception. Along with fury provided by your team mates, this pretty much eliminated the need for a precision amulet. Soldier’s was always my amulet of choice back when power necro was a thing.
mesmer will still be mandatory for raids post alacrity nerf, they don’t need any buffs.

The new diamond skin is fine. Now that cele amulet is gone Elementalists will become largely irrelevant anyway.

Is BnS PvP really that great? The “combos” and knocking people into the air looks cool and all that but what specifically makes it so much more fun and rewarding than Gw2 PvP?
Don’t know why people are salty about Eles being “OP” this season. Ele is my favorite class and I have barely touched it.
Auramancer/Celestial is mind numbing and it was our only viable spec.
Just adapt to the new scepter condi mesmer meta, scrub.
Ele is going to be trash. Fine for solo queue, but it won’t touch the meta. Fresh air will be their only viable spec, and Thief/Rev will both be considerably better at the same job.
No bunker amulets, Diamond skin less useful vs Condi Burst.
Ele is 100% Dead.
Ele single target damage is terrible right now with the meta builds… AoE spread pressure is all they are good for.
This daily is poorly designed and has no place in Guild Wars 2.
You’re asking us to kill an enemy player on or very close to a point that we currently control. Any halfway decent player is going to attempt to run away if they’re losing a fight, so killing them on a point, let alone a point that you have fully capped is an extremely frustrating endeavor.
Please Anet, you can do better.
Anet has stated multiple times that Pro League is a marketing effort and that it will NOT affect the speed of balance changes.
How in the world could you consider that a bad thing? Balancing the game means all us regular players will be having more fun in PvP. That should take priority over “espurtz”.
